Our second new home experience with At Home Audio was as good as the first. This time it involved new construction and they handled everything from initial bid, rough in, installation, and post installation training all with excellent client service and professional installation. We are very happy with our whole-house audio and network system and highly recommend this company.

Tom really helped me out today. Although @home wasnt able to facilitate my special need, Tom and his team went above and beyond to research my request. Thanks a bunch for your hard work!

Well, to start there banker hours had made it difficult for me to drop by to get information for someone that has to work for a living, and the times that they say they are open seems to be a bit off, because I have stopped by a few times and they were not there during their business hours. I was able to finally talk to a gentleman and I explained to him, that I already have a complete theater, however it is a bit dated and would like to get a new projector, receiver, possibly a larger screen, and new cabinet to house the new receiver and other audio video equipment. I told them my budget, and he literally snickered. That reaction had me end the interaction promptly. I do not blame a company that chooses to only do larger projects that has a higher profit margins, however I do expect to be treated with respect and dignity. The person that “helped” me was definitely lacking people skills. I live off of Pellissippi and Northshore in a community of doctors, lawyers, and business executives and the median price of the homes in our neighborhood is $600,000 and in our circle of friends are two custom home builders...Needless to say my interaction with @home was a topic in a very lengthy conversation amongst our circle of friends. Knoxville is a word of mouth community, and I assure you that the words coming out of my mouth will not be kind. I hope this finds the owners desk, and he uses this interaction as a coaching opportunity and people skills training.

Tom came to my house and installed a used but fine CD changer, took away our broken old one, and refused any payment! I was super impressed with his friendly professionalism and, based on my experiences today and on a previous occasion, would recommend him and his company very highly.

@home professionally and expertly handled our whole house technology and security needs. Their estimates were competitive and their installation for both the rough-in and finish work were top notch. Very knowledgeable from both the sales and product support side of things.

Tom was SUPER helpful! My dad and I swung through on a road trip looking for a very specific iPhone adapter, and Tom was willing to give us that very exact adapter that he happened to own himself! Talk about exceptional customer service!

These guys were extremely helpful, provided me additional options within my budget, gave me insights on how to continue to use my existing equipment without having to spend too much money on newer pieces, and were very polite and professional. Thanks, guys!

Worked with @Home on deciding an appropriate space and technology in our unfinished basement. After mentioning I was interested in pre-wiring the space to save on costs, the rep literally picked up his bag to leave. After obtaining a bid and subsequent visits and phone calls, it was apparent that because I wasnt prepared to spend multiple 10s of thousands of dollars, their interest in my project was non existent. Additionally, in one of the multiple follow-up conversations, I enquired about sound proofing. I was informed that since I wasnt spending over 10k on the project, I didnt need to be concerned with sound proofing. I was also told that I should just spray foam the ceiling if I just had to do something. After substantial research, I learned that spray foam is one of the WORST ways to sound proof. I ended up using a combination of safe n sound and double drywall with green glue. Very effective and half the cost of spray foam.So to summarize... No I didnt do business with @Home. Bogus advice and an elitist attitude towards my budget theater cost them my business and any recommendation!
