I called One Touch because another mechanic wouldnt work on my car and I needed a full brake job as soon as possible. I called them because of the good Google reviews, so Ill add to the list! They were incredibly courteous and kind through the whole process, including expressing sympathy when the job, and bill, were way bigger than expected! 😆😆 They are quick, fair, and do an excellent job. Really cute puppies running around also helps ease the blow of car problems haha

I was charged $120 for one hour of labor to put my car up on the lift and tell me that my exhaust system needed replacing due to rust. I was told that this was the standard diagnostic fee. I called around to other shops in the area and learned that $40 and even free diagnostic inspections are the norm for muffler and exhaust systems. I feel that I was exceedingly overcharged for service provided, and no longer trust this shop. RESPONSE - They claim that they told me I would be charged a diagnostic fee up front, but this is not true. I learned of the diagnostic fee only when they called with the estimate. I would have gone ahead with the repair, but they told me that there was a high likelihood that it would cost over $2500, and I have subsequently learned that there are simpler repair options that cost less than $500. They told me that my exhaust pipe was completely rusted through, and that was also untrue. Other shops have since offered to weld the pipe for much less money. The conclusion Im left with is that One Touch was either not able or not willing to repair the minor exhaust leak in a less costly way, or they were trying to scam me. Either way, Ill be taking my business elsewhere, and I recommend that you do the same.

This place is amazing. Finally found a place to go back to for all car needs and repairs. They staff is professional, trustworthy and got the car done in a timely manner. Had back breaks and oil change done! They also provided a warranty for their work!

Great garage. I was traveling through Tennessee and my engine overheated. They fixed me up and did a thorough job. The owner is easy going and friendly. The shop has a nice location and atmosphere. Very satisfied with this experience! I thought it was a blown head gasket when I brought it in but they checked for water and determined it was actually rust in the radiator which was a very professional diagnosis and Im very grateful for that considering I thought I would have to scrap my vehicle. Honestly. I wouldnt suggest this place. At the same time if you choose to use their services make sure you verify every aspect of their pricing, and what that entails as far as service is concerned. Get it all down on paper. Record the conversation. Whatever you need to do to ensure youre being treated fairly. That being said.. Id look for a different shop. I wasnt impressed.

I have had my sons car repaired here due to me not knowing the area and living in another state. Within a year I paid for the alternator and a battery. (Overpriced). After that a head gasket job that I afterwards found out was way over priced and within 6 months needed to be done again and they told me it’s out of warranty. Meanwhile between the first head issue and the second I had to have the alternator changed a second time. It was just out of warranty. They said the manufacturing company would cover the part but they still charged a me labor. After speaking with several other certified mechanics. I not knowing about vehicles found out how over priced they had been. If the work is good sometimes you don’t mind but the quality isn’t good either. It’s been every couple months I have had my sons car breakdown. My sons car now is stuck 3 hours from the shop. And all they can say is get it here we can try to work with you. So I’m supposed to spend hundreds of dollars getting it towed. So they can charge me again. Horrible experience. I was told that McDonald’s doesn’t give a discount if you come back another day by them. After bringing my car for service and spending several thousands with them this is what I was told. Not good customer service at all!!!

They were able to get my car running a day later than originally estimated, but so far no problems. Very pleased with the response of the new throttle. Little on the pricey side, but I’d bring my car there again.

I walked into the office area with about 5 other guys standing around. What seemed like the boss was sitting at the front desk on the phone. So I waited for someone to greet me and ask me what I needed. I stood there for about 5 mins. Nobody said a thing to me. The boss who was on the phone had to TELL someone to help me. Super unprofessional. Then I asked them for a relatively simple fix such as replacing the wheel bearing and the quoted me an outrageous amount of something like $250. Definitely do NOT recommend

I wasnt actually able to visit this shop, but had to call with a question related to a vehicle they had serviced years prior. Even though there was obviously no way I was spending money with this gentleman, he gave me an honest, thorough, and prompt response, just so I could be better informed. If I lived in Knoxville, the integrity of this business in my prior dealings with them would absolutely lead me back to them without hesitation.

I had an engine light to come and being a female with no car experience, had no idea what the trouble was. I called and One Touch took my car to repair it. However after thoroughly checking my vehicle, they called me to say that it was only the gas cap that needed securing. They could have told me anything and could have charged a huge amount for service and/ or parts and I would have never known the difference...they charged me nothing! ...and they worked my car in because my husband needed chemo the next morning. I will definitely be taking my car to One Touch the next time I have trouble because I treasure honesty along with good service.

We were traveling home to Missouri when the U joint broke on our truck, we called and Richard told us to bring it on in, little did any of us know that the front axel was broke too! The truck is covered under warranty, but we all know warranty companies only want your money, not pay any money out. Richard was diligent and never gave up and after spending hours on the phone, he was able to get the repair work covered. It was approaching the end of the day and they would not be able to get the part until the morning, so now we need a hotel. Richard and his wife Nikki recommended hotels near by, we tried to get an Uber to take the 4 of us and luggage to a hotel, but there was none available. Taking pity on us, Richard and Nikki drove us and our luggage themselves to the hotel!! Now thats what I call customer service! They got to work on the truck the next morning and had us rolling that afternoon! I highly recommend One Touch, their customer service is top notch as well as their work!

I have taken 3 vehicles there for service and am extremely pleased with their work. One for an AC condenser replacement, one for brakes, and another for brakes and shocks. Their pricing is fair, meaning you dont feel ripped off when you leave. But, the quality of what they do is top notch and on qualifying parts they are backed with a 2 year 24k mile warranty. Decided to come to this place to try out somewhere new and I can say I absolutely regret it! Took my 06 Nissan Rogue in to get my driver door lock fixed and they told me my total was $925 for parts and labor. After we went in to pick up the car after doing some research on our own we asked if they could work with us on the price a bit and that’s when the rudeness came into effect with the owner telling my fiancé that he couldn’t give a better price because “his female” agreed already to the price and he tried to explain I didn’t know what was an appropriate price and he pretty much said “oh well”. Unfortunately the work was done and the money had to be paid but this business will never receive any of my money again along with family and friends!

Amazing shop!! So today is my birthday and I just arrived into town from a 14 drive from Texas....visiting dear friends ....well in a hurry I wasn’t careful and I backed out of driveway and ran over my child’s bike that I had just taken off the rack, the pedal caught and ripped the front off my car right off!! I was so upset! We were suppose to leave at 6am tomorrow for the rest of our 4 week trip. ONE TOUCH TO THE RESCUE! My friends knew just who to call. I brought a vehicle here for repairs, to make it roadworthy. They failed miserably. I returned my vehicle to a shop I preferred, but is farther away than I wanted to go. They diagnosed and repaired the issue. At no charge. The owner told me that I was ripped off once, I wont do it to you again. One Touch on my vehicle is all they will ever get from me.

I come from a lower middle class background and have worked very hard all of my adult life. This past year I was fortunate enough to purchase the nicest car I’ve ever owned. So when this car needed repair it was important to choose someone knowledgeable and fair. My vehicle had a complicated issue to diagnose and repair and it took a lot of effort and multiple tries to figure it out but they were able to repair it. They were thorough and checked over things multiple times.

I was told by Jiffy Lube I had a brake problem so I found One Touch Auto on google and decided to give them a try. They were so friendly and helpful! They told me that there was nothing wrong with my breaks and to not go back to Jiffy Lube again! Since then they’ve helped me with multiple issues at fair prices. I highly recommend going here for any auto need. Also they have three super sweet dogs to keep you company in the office (who like treats!).

The best place ever! We brought our SUV here at the end of our vacation. We were told by our warranty company that out vehicle wasnt safe to drive back to SC. We stopped here and they were able to get us fixed up and on the road. Everyone was so welcoming, nice, and engaged with us. They kept us informed of what was going on. Not only were the issues with my vehicles explained to me in a way that I could understand, but they were also addressed and repaired in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost. Best experience Ive ever had with an auto repair business. The first time I went there was October 2015. I was about to make a road trip with my niece and was in desperate need of new tires. Richard went out of his way to go find me some at a good price, and then got them changed out the same day so we could get on the road. Always be sure to call ahead of time, because these guys help a lot of people!A few months later I needed new brake pads and rotors. They helped me out with those as well. And just recently (August 2016), I took my truck in because I wasnt quite sure what was wrong with it, but I knew it wasnt good. After checking it out, they found that I really needed a new timing belt. They were very up front with me about the cost and importance of the belt.I drive a 2003 Tacoma, and it is running like a champ thanks to this place. Very trustworthy. I wouldnt take my truck anywhere else.

Wow! Richard and the guys at One Touch are just terrific! We are from across the river from Cincinnati and were on a little trip down to Gatlinburg. Our car suddenly broke down in Knoxville and we were stranded! It was late Saturday afternoon and we were in an unknown place and didnt know what to do. I googled car repair shops near me and One Touch was the first on the list....but unfortunately they were getting ready to close. I decided to call anyway to make sure the hours listed on google were correct, and sure enough, they were. However, Richard was so kind and said if I could get it to him, he would stay open and do everything he could to get me back on the road today. My husband and I were floored! So we called AAA immediately and about 40 minutes later, we rolled in to One Touch. They were waiting on us and got started right away. He had to keep his business open an extra 2 hours! You just dont see that in todays world! They were able to get us up and running again better than new! We met Richard and his wife and son, and the wonderful mechanic that did the work on our car and his daughter. We even got to love on 3 beautiful black and white border collies a little bit! Thanks, guys! You were life savers for us today, and you did fantastic work ta boot!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone who is looking for honest, kind people who will fix your vehicle up right!

Big thumbs up for the service. Very affordable prices and great attention to detail. I gave a 4-star review ONLY because I think the driveway could get some improvement work (maybe you could consider petitioning for the city to set up a stoplight there?). It is too difficult and dangerous to exit the store because traffic on Chapman Highway is busy most of the time and part of the hill blocks the view of incoming traffic. I would definitely highly recommend this shop to my friends and relatives.

Terrible service try to rip me off saying the part i needed was 500 dollars when my father in law works at advance and said they were trying to rip me off. Finally got it down to only 300 dollars then the part they fixed didnt work and said it was because of the nasty tape. That means they didnt even check it and were trying to charge me another hour of labor to scrub it clean when it took me 5 mins when i got home. Differently trying to get more money out of you when i said was hard on money. Terrible should have just when to the guy who said it should only cost 200 dollars to fix.

I had my vehicle towed here about a month ago after it would not start in the parking lot of Kroger. They checked out my car the next day and said it started right up, they werent sure what the problem was and tried to replicate the issue i was having (simply not starting, no clicking noise or anything, but all lights come on) and could only replicate it once but later in the day it started up fine.Talking on the phone the lady seemed to have little idea what was going on, mentioning everything i said above and that she doesnt think its the starter since they tested the signal and it seems to be working.They said although my car is starting fine at the moment, and that the starter is sending a signal, they just recommend i get the starter to my 2012 hyundai sonata replaced anyways just to be safe. They quoted me over $700 dollars for the starter replacement. I said: if my car is running now i will just come pick it up until i actually know the specific issue instead of just a wild $700 hunch.Anyways, i picked up my vehicle and drove straight to wal mart where upon getting back to my car, it would not start again. Frustrated, i googled Hyundai Sonata will... and google auto populated: Hyundai sonata will only start in neutral. i didnt look any further and immediately tried to put my car in neutral before starting it and it worked. I quickly ordered a new neutral safety switch and had it sent to a shop to get replaced. I have not have had any issues since.IT BLOWS MY MIND that they were willing to charge me $700 on a hunch over something i found out through a simple google search.

I was on the area from out of town. I broke down and had the car towed to One Touch. The transmission needed replaced. They took care of everything including securing authorization for Car Max Care. Richard answered all my questions and concerns over the phone. They made a stressful situation much less stressful!

I have been going here for 6 years now and I love it. Richard is upfront and doesnt try to swindle you like a lot of mechanics. He tells you the truth even if it might be hard to hear. Over the years, he has been very kind and even offered me a ride once when I was in a bind. His three dogs are super sweet and great entertainment as you wait on your oil change. They have worked on my car twice--both times were pretty big repairs, both times the job was done in a day.After I had my car fixed there, my mom and brother brought their cars to One Touch as well.The service is friendly and no-nonsense, and they do a great job on repairs (which come with a generous warranty).I highly recommend One Touch!

My family and I were on vacation from out of state when a suspension part broke on my vehicle the night before we were due to travel back home; two states away. I tried two other shops in the area only to find that they were closed on Saturdays, or to be told that they couldnt help us. Then I found One Touch Auto online and called Richard who said they could fix it. After limping my vehicle there it was taken into the shop immediately. After looking at it Richard and his crew were able to show me that the damage was more severe than I had initially thought, however they were able to make the repair in a timely manner and get us back on the road safely. They also went above and beyond to adjust a couple of brake lines that were rubbing so that we wouldnt develop a leak later on.We were able to wait in a comfortable lobby during the repair and all of the employees treated us like family. As a family of dog lovers, we all loved the three shop dogs that were more than happy to play with us while we waited.The bill was lower than I expected, and we couldnt have asked for better service. Richard even called me the next business day to make sure that we made it back home safely without any problems. We were very pleased with One Touch Auto, and will go back if we ever have any further problems while traveling in this area again.

One Touch Auto Repair saved me when I was in a pinch! I was traveling out for the weekend from very out of state and the transmission on my van died. Everywhere I called said itd take two weeks to get it fixed, but I called One Touch and Richard told me he had one available and could get it in ASAP. 24 hours later my transmission was fixed and the van ran perfectly again! Everyone there was super nice and accommodating, and I cant express my gratitude enough! Truly exceptional work.

Not only were they able to work me in during a holiday (and I could tell from the shop traffic that they were very busy) but were able to overcome three years of missed maintenance at a very reasonable price. Ask yourself when was the last time that a mechanic test drove your vehicle. Your answer, like mine, is probably never. Professional, pleasant and extremely knowledgeable: I give this shop five stars.

I had my car towed here. The biggest mistake Ive ever made. I spoke to Richard on the phone and told him my car started and died. He had his mechanics look at it. He called back and said it would be $900.00 to repair it. The work was done, and the day it was to be picked up he called and said it would be another $1100.00 to have it repaired, because the timing belt was worn. I called another shop (Fountain City Auto) and was given an estimate of $649.00 for replacement of the timing belt. He was rude and condescending. I did not want to pay $900.00 for a car that has the same issues it was brought in with. I would not recommend this place to an enemy.

My Honda is 18 yrs old, with over 200k miles, and I wouldnt trust it to anyone else. Great turn around time, knowledgeable staff... Richard has done regular maintenance and emergency repairs over the last 2 years and I recommend this shop to anyone looking for a quality mechanic.

I got aa transmission put in my car last November in Chattanooga. Well, guess what. The shop messed up and I ended up needing a new transmission AGAIN. Richard and his team dealt with us as we decided what to do once they discovered I needed a whole new transmission. Long story short we decided to go ahead and get them to replace the transmission and fix all the other problems. I just got it yesterday and its been good so far. Very knowledgeable team, very honest, and very straight forward. If you want sugar coated this isnt the shop for you. But if you want great work in a timely manner and honesty, this is your place to go! I love this shop and hopefully I dont have to revisit them soon! ;P

Great service. Friendly staff and owners. They have a couple of dogs that are friendly but roam freely around. The price for an oil change was excellent and they did it in a timely manner. They only negative and reason for 4 stars is the entrance/exit and the driveway. Chapman hwy is a busy and dangerous road. I recommend turning right out of the business and then turning around if needed up at the stop light. Drive slow on their gravel driveway and you will be pleased with the service received.

Ive been a frequent customer of One Touch for a couple of years now, and I can say bar none that they are the best mechanic in Knoxville. When I first moved here I tried several places, but the knowledge and integrity of the couple that owns this place made me stick to them once I finally discovered them. These people will stick by their work and will give fair prices, and answer any questions that come up with confidence.

Have had two wrecks in 6 months, and whether it was my fault or someone else’s, I was always taken care of at this place! Such friendly, honest people who care about getting you in your car safely and for the best price. I’ll always bring my business here.

I usually work on my own cars being in the automotive industry for most of my life. However I needed to go here to have some tires swapped out on my Prius. I had them do a oil change as well since it was in the shop. Mind you I called ahead and they told me to come right over. When I arrived I was greater by Nikki and she got me wrote up, within five minutes my car was in. That was the quick part. Two hours later I was still there. I was not told of any problems. I was in the tire business for 15 years, 45 mins and add 15 to 20 mins for the oil change. I dont know what took so long. But overall happy with the service and Id go back, but I would drop off for sure and not wait. I do have a slight vibration in the tires, Im will update more on this once I reach out to them. Im hopeful they will fix it.

I was driving from Charlotte, NC back to Nashville, TN (alone with my pregnant belly and toddler) when my car starting having all sorts of issues. We pulled off the highway to try to find a shop. One Touch got us in immediately for diagnostics. They were so kind and even had their dogs doing tricks to keep my toddler entertained. They got us out the door and gave an inexpensive (less than $20) quick fix so we could finish the drive and get home to our own car shop. The next day they even called to make sure I had gotten home safe. I can’t say enough good things about this shop. They saved what could have been a hellish day for me!! Highly highly recommend!

My husband and I were on our way from Atlanta to Michigan for Thanksgiving to see family when our van started to sputter, the engine light came on, and we started losing power. I found One Touch online after calling a ton of other places and they said they couldn’t help. We were thrilled to find out they would be able to work us in today. They not only fixed our van, but they let us bring our dog inside and even offered to pick lunch up for us since we were going to be stuck there all day. They made us all feel welcome even though they didn’t have to. Our van now works like a champ and we’re on the way to Michigan. Thank you to Richard, Nikki, Lucas, Clint and the entire crew for fixing our van and getting us on the road. And thank you to the pups Luna, Max, and Keeneye (probably spelled that wrong) for welcoming our pup Sierra. Great service!!!!!!

Arrived to Pigeon Forge with a Wheel Bearing sounding pretty rough about Midnight on a Tuesday night and was leaving town on Thursday morning. Located One Touch Auto via my CarMax Extended Warranty App. Called and spoke with them about the issue and that I found them through the app and the fact I was leaving the next morning. He gave me the address and told me to come right down. I got lost on the way in and called for help locating them and was given exact directions to where they were located. Just before my arrival they called to make sure I was ok and finding them ok. They took care of the issue quickly and all the warranty stuff making it as easy of a process for me as 123... Gave me all the warranty info for the work completed and were extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful. If I could move their shop to my Hometown they would become my go to place however they are over 400 miles from home. Being a 30s female I often get the brush off at places like that and given the impression that they can add whatever and Id never know. One Touch was the complete opposite of that. I couldnt have had a better experience with them. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone needing some help with their vehicle in that surrounding area. I drove 40 minutes from where I was staying and would have driven over an hour for the care and service I received. You guys ROCK! Thanks for everything you did for me. Its because of you my family is home safe and had no issues!!!!

Wanted to charge me 900 dollars for a battery and alternater and they charge me 114.00 just to check it.

My go to car repair facility. Always go way above what is requested, and provide a friendly quality repair service. Highly recommend One Touch. Not the cheapest, but always done right.

Lady seemed nice enough when I went in to ask about getting my oil change, which they advertise with great big signs on the side of the road. I give the one star for being cordial but really it should be a zero. They had no interest in doing any business at all with me and I dare to think anyone other than their choosing. She asked how she could help and I answered asking if they actually did change oil which she informed me they did but had no openings. She didnt offer me another possible time or any other service. So I ask why advertise on the side of the road if you have no intentions to do any actual service for anyone. JUST TAKE THE SIGNS DOWN. It was in the middle of the day on a Tuesday , so it wasnt near closing time. Just dont waste your time on them, they certainly wont on you. I guess that is why Walmart gets all the business and takes all of the Ma and Pa business. Who would think you would get better service from someone getting paid $8 an hour.

Im from out of town, this was the first place I tried for auto work. I’m now a returning customer. The people seem honest, prices are fair, and the work is consistent and reliable.

AWESOME and highly reccomended!. Richard went above and beyond to help my wife and daughter when they encountered a problem on their road trip. My daughters car had front and rear brake service 6 weeks ago by a shop in Chicago in anticipation of this trip. Half way through the trip the brakes began to lock up. The work done was to be covered by a nationwide warranty. This is where Richard enters this story. One Touch Auto was a repair facility under the warranty, so thats where they took the car. Richard informed us that all four brakes needed to be done...again as the calipers had locked up. Needless to say the warranty company did not want to cover anything. Richard was instrumental in not only getting the warranty claim covered, he also spoke with the shop in Chicago and told them his findings with respect to their sub-standard work and persuaded them to refund 75% of what was paid the month prior for brake service. He managed to whittle down a disastrous $1100.+ bill to $350 and the job done was fantastic.Their professionalism, integrity, and honesty is unequaled, they are family owned and very nice people. Never going back. Took a car in to get brakes for 120, as quoted over the phone. Ended up needing rotors, which was expected, so that was another $160...Brakes ended up being $130. So after everything, ended up paying $360 for brakes and rotors on one axle. Called down the street and got an estimate of $218, so I was GOING to tell him to hold off, however when I asked if we could change our mind, he freaked out and told me one sec. I wasnt born yesterday, and I have fake called before, so I know it when I see it. He picked up the phone, pushed a button and said yea, have you started yet? You have? ok. as if he was really talking to someone. HOWEVER, I could CLEARLY see my car sitting in the garage not on a ramp or anything. Wouldnt have seen it if it werent for the 12 security cameras monitoring screen right there in the office. Was going to call him out, but Im not a confrontational person, so I decided to take the hit. Brake job was great, but dont let him fool you. He has cute dogs that he gets to do tricks, but hes the one doing tricks on you. Save your money and go elsewhere. Couldnt believe he lied to my face, but thats why I wont be returning. :)

I needed an estimate after a read-end collision. They demanded information they did not need (insurance company responsible for repairs), and wanted me to leave the car until adjuster could come (time consuming process compared to driving to the the insurance office, about a week). They were unable to determine how much it cost without knowing the claim information. I went to a different shop that had no problem giving a price in about 30 min for a nominal fee. They did not ask for personal information, and they waived the fee for this service because I selected to have the work done there. I think that would be most peoples expectation to have auto work of any type done, and would be a good way to alter your business practices. I can give no opinion on the quality of work because I have never been a customer of this shop, due to the poor first impression they made.

Super friendly fast service.theyre open on Saturdays,have adorable dogs to play with while you wait,and have very reasonable prices.i had a serpentine belt and a compressor clutch hub replaced and i was in & out in no time at all.i will most definitely be back.fantastic shop.

Being a female and looking for honest mechanics is a scary because of the horror stories about mechanics taking women for repairs they dont need. My brakes were having serious issues and I happened upon One Touch Auto Repair. I had called several places, chain brake repairs companies etc and was disheartened by the price.One Touch went above and beyond to help me, pricing was less than the chain stores with better breaks.5 star rating because they care about their customers, they are honest and upfront about what you do and dont need. I was told by one of the chain stores I need a new caliper, rotors etc. Richard and his staff and one touch told me it was true and they fixed my car and got me back on the road in a hurry. They even let me bring the car back because I was uncomfortable with a noise I was hearing and replaced the brake pads again. I will return for mechanic work if needed in the future.Highly recommended!!!!!

I hate that I have to even give one star to this horrible con artist!! Totally rip off & over charges for poor work. If you get your car fixed here be prepare for it to break down again soon. Also if you notice all the 5 star reviews suspiciously look like fake accounts, nice try though you con artist.
