I was on my way home from Columbus and noticed I was loosing air in my tire. After pulling over and inspecting my tire, there was a nail causing this issue. The condition of my tire I was not sure would last for the additional hour I needed to drive on the highway and I was desperate to find a shop to fix my tire for me. It was 6:30 and all the tire shops in the area had already closed . I called Firestone knowing they were about to close and spoke to this very wonderful man named William. I explained my situation to William and without any hesitation, agreed to help me out. Here is the best part of my story. When I walked in the store, William was helping a young man who was having issues with his credit cards accepting charges at Firestone. The young man looked embarrassed and humiliated. William looked at this young man and said dont worry about it, I got you covered. William pulled out his own credit card and paid for the services. The young man was so grateful, you could just see it in his eyes. I love watching acts of kindness and William pulled it off twice for two strangers! Just meeting William made my day! Thank you William for caring about my safety and for just being a awesome human! Oh and a big shoutout to the man who stayed late to fix my tire. I wish I knew your name. You are awesome too!

Had a surprise nail in one of my tires. Was on a trip to Indianapolis in Columbus. Read the reviews on this location and was intrigued by the great customer service this location provided. Other locations were scheduling me out 1-2 days in advance, this location got me in with no appointment time and repaired my tire in the time they quoted me. Thanks guys for getting me back on the road in no time!

Brought my car in for a new distributor for which I was given an oral quote. Suddenly the written quote was 4 times the oral quote. Quite the bait and switch. When I said I did not want to have the work done and that price and I would be in to pick up the car, I arrived to find a tire mysteriously slashed. (A tire that had passed their initial inspection.. An inspection I had to pay for.). Id avoid this service location.

Worker was rude after they canceled my online appointment. I walked in and said i had an appointment he just replied no you dont before i even could give him a name. They were short staffed and said they closed at 5, which was when my appointment was. I left and went home and then recieved an email stating i had to reachedule due to certain circumstances. Safe to say im done with firestone all together.

They scheduled me for an appointment an hr before they opened at 7am. And they did not open till 8. When I called they told me they had me at 8 and could not reschedule until end of the week. Majorly understaffed, dont waste your time they cant and wont help you.

They were higher than their competitors but they gave me discount and matched.

Always do excellent work. Have Wonderful covid-19 precautions in place. I trust them with my car and wallet to be fair and accurate.

I could have the most expensive top of the line ball joints professionally installed the same day that I would try to bring my truck in for an alignment and they’d still try to tell me they’re bad and not do my alignment unless I pay to have ball joints done. Gave this place a few chances because of how quickly they can get you in, but these dudes are only trained to up-sale.

The customer service and quality of work are beyond what the competition can provide. They quickly had my work truck back on the road and ready to go. So thanks for that!

Wanted to look at the undercarriage because Im undercoating soon the tech brought me out an let me look at it in depth. Also had a pad squeak. He brought me back out to look at it an gave me a suggestion. I appreciate the honesty and openess. This place has always been good to me. Also I was a former employee about 15 years ago. Still running strong it seems.

Do not allow this store to do extensive work on your vehicle. I took my van in for 2 new tires and an oil change which they did to my satisfactionWhile the car was at the store I received and phone call and was told the van needed a $900 rack and pinion replacement. I told them not to do the replacement and took the van to a mechanic I have known and trusted for many years. My mechanic told me the rack and pinion system did not need replacing. He told me this was not even a close call and the system was fine. He turned down a $700 job rather than replace something that worked fine. You can have this store do new tires and oil changes if you like. However when it comes to extensive mechanical work dont walk, run from this store and find yourself an honest independent mechanic.

I had a leak in my tire that I needed to get fixed asap. It was a half hour before they closed, and they still managed to squeeze me in and get my tire patched so I could go to work in the morning. They really helped me out of a jam, and Im very grateful

On Friday July 17th, 2020 I went in for an alignment. They couldnt do it because of 1 problem. My passenger side control arm is bad. They gave me a quote and I took the car somewhere else to get it fixed much, much cheaper.Then on Monday July 20th I had a 9:00 a.m. appointment to get an alignment after fixing what they said was wrong. I went to the gym and worked out for an hour and a half. Walked back and the car hasnt been in the garage yet. I was told it would only be an hour. The job wasnt done until about 10:45 a.m. Annoying but not the end of the world.Then I pay, drive home, and Im not even home for 5 minutes until they call me saying that they owe me money back because they didnt do the alignment! Now they cant do the alignment because the tie rods are bad and the drivers side control arm is bad.Then I took my car somewhere else. The tie rods are fine but the drivers side control arm is bad and needs replaced. Firestone also told me that my brakes arent looking good and needed replaced. Funny, I got them replaced last spring! They will flat out lie to get you to spend more money. Their prices are insane!

I went in for new tires and found out that my lower ball joints were shot .I also had to have my wheel hubs and bearings replaced also the CV axles because they were rusted together. Not what you want to hear when you just bought the truck a week before. Zachary and Jacob were more than helpful, I really appreciated the effort and help they gave me .

I had a great experience today with Firestone in Hilliard. There was some confusion on my end about a third party warranty for my tires and Dale at Firestone was extremely professional in helping me get it figured out. I’ll be back when I need a new set of tires for sure.

Had a flat tire, went in to get a new tire that turned into me needing 3 new tires. My car has been driving perfectly fine no problem then they tell me that I can’t drive my car anywhere it needs to be towed. I may be young but I know legally you can not keep my car from me. I am taking my car back and NEVER going back to firestone again!!! You go in for one problem and they go looking for more. I just wanted one tire!!!!

I brought my wifes Monte Carlo into the shop... They said they needed to do the entire brake system... For $1,100... When we went and got it every single morning light was on in our dash... What my wife got from the guy running the shop was... It wasnt our fault... I will make a deal... You pay for the parts to do it... And well pay for labor... But that wasnt the problem to begin with... They gave it back to us worse than they we took it in as

Charged me more than written quote to replace a tire that is covered through tire insurance when I went in last week. I called yesterday and asked to speak with store manager because of a loud noise and bad vibration on right side of car. I was told he was on a conference call and would call me back. After two hours I called back to find out why I did not get a call back. I was told he was gone at 4pm and he told his staff he returned call and I did not answer my phone. Flat out lie, and I showed staff my phone log so he could clearly see that Dale never returned my call. My brand new tire and tire that was rotated was low. Side that was changed was at a 24 and 26 as other side were at 31. When the car was inspected I was told lug nuts were not tightened so they did that which sopped noise and vibration. Really lousy to lie about calling someone back. I will continue to go back for free rotations until my warranty is out but will not be returning when I need new tires. This store may want to review how women are treated.

The plate on the bottom of my car broke off while driving and was dragging on the ground. I was desperately trying to find a place to go right away with good reviews. I was able to book my appointment online for that same day. Brett greeted me with a warm welcome when I walked in. I don’t know anything about cars and have had bad experiences with auto shops in the past. The whole appointment took me 20 minutes in and out. Brett did a great job of explaining everything to me in a clear and helpful way. Will go here from now on!

I always have the best customer service with Firestone, which is why my wife and I are very loyal customers with 4 vehicles. That loyalty ended today when I met Mike at this location. I arrived with a flat tire from in my trunk. I was second in line, no problem. My problem began when I was totally ignored as he was selling a credit card to the guy ahead of me. When I said I have to leave, he copped an attitude and asked that I leave the tire. He told me valve stems are very expensive. I told him all I wanted was the stem, no sensor. He laughed at me and told me the light would stay on. What ignorance and arrogance. I tried to tell him I already had a stem replaced without the sensor with no light. He again laughed at me. Mike, I always buy the most expensive tires from Firestone even though they are inferior to other brands. This all stops today and you are the reason. Loyalty is a 2 way street.

Yea...theyre crooked. They told me the part i needed was 305 dollars and 100 in labor. I get the labor as it took all but 2 hr so 50/hr/car is nice pay. However, i found the exact same part prior to the repair for 110 dollars...exact same. I asked if i brought the part if they could put it on. He said no, because they use better products. After i verified it was the exact same part he then changed his mind and said its actually because he cant warranty another stores part. I told him i could get the warranty through auto zone. He still said no. However he did come down 30 dollars on the cost of the part. I agreed to the repair because i needed it quick but will never deal with them. Local mechanics will put any part you buy on at a much cheaper rate. Its my fault for not learning how to repair my own car. It just sucks when you get robbed for over double the price part. I wish there was a 0 star.

DO NOT take your car for a/c they dont know how to check it, all they do is put refrigerant and charge $365 and you can do that with $30 at Walmart, I left with same a/c problem and told me to take it to a dealership. WONT STEP this place ever steal $365 from me but I dont like to argue, Keep it!

These guys ALWAYS take care of me. I am 61 and divorced so I panic when something goes wrong. I will never go anywhere else. They are like family and everytime I call they fit me in if possible or make my appointment for the next day..Awesome

My favorite place to get my car worked on. Mike is a great guy and his customer service is through the roof! They dont B.S. you like other Firestone locations or other repair places. They do great work here and treat everyone really well.

I called today (10-20) because I needed my tire fixed for a trip that we were going on today. Just needed a plug in the tire and it said they’re open all day today. I called and they told me they only do emergencies on Sunday’s. First of all you’re open 8-5 that means your doors should be open from 8-5 to anyone. Second what would be considered an emergency when all you do is work on tires? TerribleCustomer service I would never recommend bringing your car here. Just close the place if you aren’t going to do the work.

Great customer service. Weve taken our cars there for years now. Theyve fixed nearly everything to our satisfaction. The only ding was an issue that no other garage in town has been able to figure out either, so I cant blame them too much. I bought my tires there too and luckily paid for the replacement insurance. Weve used it twice while on long road trips away from home.

Manager was 45 min late in opening the store because he forgot about time change. I recommend looking elsewhere for car service.

First 5 min in they performed things i didnt ask for...mix their fluid with my deicer washer fluid and then after i purchased a replacement rim...i wanted to keep my damaged balanced rim with a stem and tire thats not warrantied by them...pops the valve and voids my warranty for a tire i told them 3 times even over the phone for the appointment not to touch...just to replace with my new wheel and their tire...will never come back to this location.

They got me rolling in and out in a decent time with a good discount. Tire rotation is always free with an oil change so thats a big plus.

B4 heading to this location my car was in PERFECT CONDITION!!!! Went in for a alignment that was previously a previously scheduled appointment (early morning to be exact) the guys looked me dead in my eyes and acted like they didn’t see me at the counter and continued to smoke their (Cancer Sticks) finally a guy comes to me grabs my keys i sat... my car did not get moved till 30mins later long story short got my car back and come to find out my front passenger wheel was severely damaged dented in shaped like ( V ) ended up with a flat half way up Hilliard Rome firestone claimed they had nothing to do with it which is BS cause i drove there perfectly fine and now i leave and my car is messed up ... THIS PLACE IS FREAKING JOKE .

I had a flat tire and a potential oil leak, so the tow truck brought me here. The staff members were super nice to me and took a look at my car immediately. Luckily, there was no leak (just water from the AC dripping) and they put on a spare tire for me. They didnt charge me anything at all to take a look at my car! I was so relieved!

Had a PT Cruiser where the power steering was having issues. They told me it was the control arms. Had them replace it the day of and went on my way like a happy customer.A month later, had the same problems. Take it back it. Now they tell me it needs a new power steering pump. I ask them how they knew it wasnt the power steering pump the last time I came in. They said it was providing pressure. I asked them what the pressure was when they checked. He said, and I quote, We dont have the equipment to test that here, but my Service Technician held his thumb over the line and it held pressure. Power steering pumps run at over 400 psi.These guys are hacks and scammers. Do not take your vehicle here.

2nd time there. First time, put car on rack, stated I needed no alignment. No charge and did not try to sell me on anything. Second time I know i needed Alignment . Done fast and correct. No problem. Good service.

I had a flat tire late on a Saturday night and most repair shops are closed on Sundays (which is ridiculous because its not the 50s anymore). The couple of places that were open Sunday turned me away.. This place was packed full and the friendly gentleman working the front counter explained he cannot guarantee my tire would be repaired the same day but insisted I leave my damaged tire with him and he would try his best to try and fix it. And 20min before closing he called me to come back so he can put my repaired tire on for me. I was very thankful. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the other place(s) I go have free flat tire repair and this place charges $22.

My appointment for a tire installation was supposed to be from 10 to 11. They didnt start until after 11 and its like 1 now...

Ive been to a few around Columbus and this one seems to be subpar. I had codes on check engine light. They supposedly fixed it, yet im still seeing same codes. Heading back there since $600 should have fixed it. Ive tried to schedule appointments but it confirmed my appointment days after it had went by. I just want my car fixed. Doesnt seem like they are really invested in the interest of the consumer. That statement there should direct you to really anyone else.I started to go to Doug and Pats in old Hilliard. Takes a little longer but they are cost effective and actually want to help.

The guy at the desk wasnt quite sure what he was doing. when they performed the maintenance on my car, they realized they couldnt fix anything for me. there was spots of oil on the fender and on the center console (and i didnt even go for an oil change). after all was said and done I paid $90 just for them to tell me we are getting a reading of these codes but dont know what they mean, so you will have to take it to the dealer, in essence, paid them for nothing! waste of my entire morning!

I went it with an air conditioning problem. No cold air. They charged me $150 to refill the freon. After one day it was out again. They did not check the lines or do any other diagnostics to see if what I really needed was more freon. Would not recommend. Sloppy work.

I Can not believe how horrible of a job they have done for the second time. The first time I have ever went to firestone it took them 3 times to put a plug on my tire so it will stop leaking.I go back a month or so later because it was a temporary fix until I get a new tire. And I take it to them same location. I get my vehicle back and it tools like they beat my rim with a crowbar I will never go back there again and I recommend that you dont either.

Absolutely the worst service have reviced they stated they called me several times but i never had a missed call or voicemail, i asked to have a rim swapped before they put my new tred on that also didnt happen when i took it back in to have the swap done correctly they wanted to charge me an exta fee. I wound not recommend this place to anyone for any reason. STAY AWAY!!!!

Scammers! wife sent our car in to have the winter tires removed and summer tires installed was called and told the car needed an alignment, little did they know i just had the front end aligned 2 weeks ago cause it was pulling to the left a little, i told them i declined the work but asked if the car was on the rack right now and they said yes, i asked for a print out to take back to the previous shop to find out what was up. when i went to pick up the car they said the mechanic already did the aliment before i could tell him not to and gave me the printout of the alignment after it was done and wasnt charged for the alignmentin short i compared the printout to the one from the previous shop that did the alignment before and it was exactly the same, scene it was my wife who dropped it off they probably figured she wouldnt know better and would have told them to do the work when it really was not needed and scam her out of an extra 100 bucks without even having to turn a wrench. they just didnt know her husband was a heavy equipment technician that services and repairs million dollar machines and keeps full records of his equipment and maitnance

We went in for 4 new tires, but we did not have our wheel lock mechanism. They strip searched our car looking for it (which is nice that they helped us look), but they left the whole back undone in a garbled mess. They also did not reset our “maintenance required” light, so it will be fun listening to our car beep at us for the next few thousand miles. Also mildly annoying to listen to the sales pitch for alignment every time even though we bought lifetime alignments. I mean, you should be aligning the tires anyway if we are buying 4 from you. I think that’s a part of putting the darn things on correctly. We are satisfied with the tires, but the attention to detail was lacking. We will continue to go to Firestone, but not this particular one.

I knew I was in trouble when I overheard the workers talking about the customer in front of me. She was here to pick up her car, and they couldnt find her paperwork and didnt remember if they did the services she asked for. Then it was my turn. I had made a 2:00 appointment to have an alignment done on my van. I showed up at the appointment time, and they told me their rack couldnt lift my van, it was too long. Why didnt they tell me that when I made my appointment and they asked me what kind of vehicle it was?! T hey told me I could go to the one on stringtown road, they have a longer rack. When I asked them to call and get me in, they refused to help even though it was their error. So I called myself and Stringtown told me they were too busy today. So now I am stuck. I will never go to Firestone again. These guys dont know what they are doing, are so unorganized, and have terrible customer service. Go across the street to Discount Tire

Just had 4 new tires installed, after driving 10 hours for a vacation I realized a little bit of a grind and rattle occuring when decelerating. Checked out my tires and they DIDNT TIGHTEN THE LUGNUTS on the front left tire. Thank god noone was hurt. AVOID this incompetent store

My car had grease on the inside carpet my spare was flat and i wasnt called when my car was finished. I would avoid firestone if i could.

Did a tire service few years back, then they checked my muffler sound issue and give me quote over 800 dollars, I took my car and got it replaced for less than 1/4 of their quotes at another store. I remembered when I did my tires at another Firestone place, did not have a good experience their either. Never went their again.

I would not go to Firestone for anything but an oil change or tire related services. I just feel like they filter so many new techs in and out that you never know what youre gonna get.
