Terry is the best! Its nice having a mechanic that I feel like I can trust. Over the years, Ive had my breaks repaired, air conditioning, exhaust, multiple sets of tires, and a few Im sure Im forgetting. The price is always fair and the work is great. Its the only place Ill go, if I can help it.

The car dies without notice and sends the computer no signal, The mechanics enjoy the challenge of finding the issue. They found it and my wife is very happy. The mechanic was shouting for joy! This professional TEAM is terrific

Weve been taking our cars and SUVs to them for many years and wont go anywhere else. Considering cost, quality of work, and customer service, they offer an outstanding value. They also handle much more than tire repair/replacement. Over multiple years and vehicles, theyve handled tires, brakes, steering, and exhaust problems for my family, and weve always been exceptionally happy. I cant say I truly trust many service professionals, but I trust Hillard Tire & Auto. Theyre the only mechanics I recommend to family and friends.

We took our vehicle here to get a tire checked out (either patched or replaced) and the company found three holes in one tire. They were only able to patch two holes so they ended up not charging us since they couldn’t fix it. Then, because they didn’t have a tire in stock, they recommended a DIFFERENT place for us to go. Who does that?! Also, did a great job explaining everything and showing us another tire problem we didn’t even know about on our vehicle that we should also get checked out. Will definitely use them in the future.

I got some new tires for my Jeep and it was an enjoyable experience. I usually hate taking my vehicles in to get worked on. I was walked through the process and explained things without feeling belittled. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

I appreciate this place a lot! They have Saturday hours which works with my schedule. You can get tires and a wide range of mechanical work done at the same time for reasonable pricing. Most of the staff are friendly and straight forward. I have used this place for years and keep coming back due to good experiences and quality work.

I had a great experience at Hilliard Tire. Even though I was a new customer, they were able to get me a new tire the same day I called them. Honest and reasonably priced, Ill definitely be going there again.

Service was quick and prices very reasonable. I would highly recommend checking them out for tire problems. They worked with me, found me a performance tire at a reasonable price which the dealer didnt have. Most car dealer service center only carry one brand of tires, companies they have contract with and I am sure get a lot of kick back. Its always wise to go to a tire shop who sell different brands at different price points.

I had a bad experience at Midas being quoted almost $4,000 in unneeded repairs. My dad took my car to Hilliard Tire and Auto while he was visiting me, and they would take him into the garage and showed him that everything was fine, I didn’t need new struts and swaybars. They listened to my dad about how he wanted to tires balanced and rotated, but he ended up just buying me 4 new tires.Midas had done an alignment on my car about 5 months ago, and when I got my car back my steering wheel was crooked.the guys at Midas said the steering wheel was about $500 extra. However, when Hilliard Tire and Auto did a front end alignment, my steering wheel is straight now! I really trust these guys, and they are very reasonable!

My Jeep was about to be shipped across the country on a semi the same day it inconveniently broke down. They were willing to stay late, and helped locate the part I needed that was cheaper. They were knowledgeable, professional, and personable. Their pricing was very fair. I would do business with them again!! Very happy with the experience. They made this crisis much easier on me.

Read all these online reviews about how they dont try to nickel and dime you like other auto shops, so I was excited to give them a shot. First time I went, I needed tires for my Pontiac Grand Am. They called to give me three options for tires they had available, with the cheapest being $150 per tire, and going up from there. When I told them that was too much I wanted to pay, they hung up, only to call me back not three minutes later to give me some excuse that their computer was messing up, but they found some for $100 each. Sounds like nickel-and-diming to me.The second time I took it in, I had a couple holes in my tires that were slowly releasing air. I told them I wanted them to look into patching it. After looking at them, they explained to me they couldnt, because the holes were too close, and that I would need new tires. By this time, they were about to close, so I just told them to leave the car alone, and I would come by the next day to pick it up.When I went back the next day, I was hit with a $25 charge to pick my car up...because as it turns out, it COULD be patched, and no one bothered to tell me that. Glad I happened to bring my wallet! The communication is poor, and contrary to what youre reading on here, theyre just as shady and untrustworthy as just about any other mechanic.If you really want treated right, theres a mysterious tire shop right next door to this one that does excellent work for even cheaper.

Great place to do business with. Every time my wife has stopped in for them to take a look at the car, they have been great and they have worked with us. I would recommend them to everyone.

I love these guys! My license plate bolt broke, not only did they take it out but they put my plates on for me. They have wonderful customer service. Other places that I called in town either wouldnt help me or would charge $75+ and didnt have openings for a week or more. Not Hilliard tire! I drove up, and was gone within 15 minutes.

First time I’ve ever needed a tire patched on my Hyundai. Decided to give this place a try and it was well worth it. Very down to earth worker who checked me in. 20 minutes in and out, extremely reasonable pricing. Thank you!

I recently had my front axle replaced on my vehicle, cv joint was going bad, anyway stopped in, Jason (the owner was actually working the front desk) took my car in at 3 pm, and the job was complete the same day by 530pm Pricing was very reasonable. I was very impressed with the service, Jason was very knowledgeable, and from friends of mine that have used his shop, he really stands behind his work, and puts pride that your car is fixed correctly. I highly recommend this small business.

Typically a very big proponent of shopping local and using the smaller companies, which is how I found these guys in the first place, but I would steer clear. If you do go here, which I do not recommend, do not ask questions as you will be screamed at in response and, even if you are a well educated individual, treated as if you are a child and understand nothing. The man I worked with was irrational, defensive, and honestly just rude. I work in retail, I understand not every customer is a walk in the park, but I would be fired if I spoke to customers the way I was talked to. His language was degrading and to top it off, as soon as he thought I was gone, burst into laughter at my expense. I know it was just one guy, but with all of the options in Columbus, no one deserves to be treated this way.

Ive had great experience with Hilliard Tire and have brought my vehicles in for service multiple times. Very trustworthy and still reasonable on price, which is why I am a repeat customer. Even after moving to Grandview, I still take my car here.

Dropped my truck off because it had a shake. Listed all the parts and procedures that had been done before. Less than 3 hours later they called n said it was fixed. I test drove it with the mechanic and it shook just as bad as when I dropped it off. Was told they didn’t know what to do. Charged me $50 to diagnose the problem, which they didn’t, and another $50 to balance the already brand new tires that have a life time balancing warranty on. What a joke. I spent $110 , hours of my time for them to tell me to try Rock auto. If u want to take ur car there just bang ur head against the wall, burn a $100 bill n save yourself the time.

I did not take my 2002 Dakota there since their quoted price on a front wheel bearing was $653. A couple of calls later I had it scheduled elsewhere and done the same day for under $400. Same job, same 1...1 single part....a $253 disparity. No wonder so many repair shops have a bad name.

Ive always been an advocate for supporting local businesses instead of the big guys and decided to try Hilliard Tire for a simple tire patch repair. The price was a little steep for a usual $10-20 dollar job and service was pretty slow. That really wasnt the issue though. When I received my car back I found grease all over the door, steering wheel, and shifter. Upon returning home I inspected the tire and found that the center emblem was completely missing and that there was massive amounts of grease on the rim. After further inspection I found that the lug nuts were well under torqued (major safety issue). Just all around a poor job, Ill keep trying local places but I will never go back to Hilliard Tire again.

I shopped around several tire places and got several different (high) prices. Found this shop and got a great deal. Customer service is very good here too.Update (12/9/2010): Came back for an oil change, tire rotation, and psi check. They squeezed me in at the lunch hour. Didnt even charge me for the tire rotation. I normally do my own car repair because I dont trust autoshops, but I have complete confidence in this shop. Hard to find the first time, but worth it once you do.
