ALWAYS CHECK YOUR RECEIPTSWe shop at Hobby Lobby often and have learned to check receipts as soon as I get to the car to make sure the prices are keyed correctly. To the cashiers credit, Hobby Lobby uses an antique system where everything is keyed by hand and the percentage off needs to be checked against the weekly add and entered by the cashier. So there are often many problems with the wrong prices rung up (I suspect Hobby Lobby does this on purpose so they can overcharge customers who dont check their receipts). Additionally, the customer doesnt have a monitor that shows prices as they are entered - hence the reason I have to check the receipt when I get to the car instead of catching them before I pay.Last night, when I checked the receipt I was overcharged (again) so I tried to go back into the store to have the prices corrected and my money returned to me. We had checked out at 7:56 - 4 minutes before they closed. I was back to doors before 8:00 because we were parked immediately next to the building and I reviewed the receipt quickly knowing that they were closing. After they wouldnt open the doors, I called the store twice, and once spoke to the manager and the next time the assistant manager. Instead of fixing their error, I now have to make a special trip back to the store. I understand if it was something that I had done wrong, I am responsible then in that situation and wouldnt be upset about having to make a trip back to the store. Not only would I have returned to the store, but I probably would have done more shopping while I was there. However, Hobby Lobby made the error and instead of fixing it right away as they should have, I now have to make another trip to the store on a different day.Customer service is garbage and since there are other craft stores locally as well as online, I refuse to shop there again.EDIT 10/13: I called the Corporate Office last night and left a message when the store manager refused to fix the issue. They returned my call first thing this morning. Robin (Corporate Customer Service) apologized right away and said that in no way should the store manager not have returned the money from the overcharge last night at the time it happened. The manager should have handled it differently instead of making me return to the store. Robin offered to mail a check for the money owed back to me, which I greatly appreciate. I thanked her but chose to return the items. Hobby Lobby’s corporate office has excellent customer service, too bad the Hanover location can’t claim the same.

Id recommend you give them a try!

I found a telescope for $79.99. it was in the sale table i asked someone and she rudely said “ it’s wall decor not table top. “ so i said , “ it was on sale will a bunch of other stuff included with it?” she replied “no. it’s just table top and nothing else just table top see it says table top only this week.” 2 stars.

Not bad... it would be a better experience if there was another hobby store to shop at in Hanover. Competition is good for everyone. Check out lines can be long, might not have what you want in stock and theres nowhere else to shop locally.

The store staff are always friendly. Some will help when asked where something is, others point in a general direction. The prices are high for what they carry, but if you hit a sale it is great. They have 40 percent off coupons good on one full priced item. I wish they would add another coupon like 20 percent off entire purchase.

Huge store with pretty things. Not high quality, but pretty. Very little made in America. Staff is always pleasant and helpful, but there are never enough cashiers! Stretching and framing a canvas has been a disaster. It wasnt ready on time. When it was finally finished the canvas wasnt stretched tight enough and canvas showed ripples when hung. Had to return, took a week to fix. Now canvas has fallen out of frame 3 times leaving paint marks on my tile floor and damaging $400 painting!! I put back in frame first 2 times, the 3rd time I took it back. They had it for 11 days before even looking at it. I had to call the store 3 times to get them to correct the issue! Thats twice I had to take same canvas back to be fixed. Next time I will pay more at a quality art shop and have it done right the first time. Its true that you get what you pay for.

I love love love hobby lobby. They have almost anything and everything you could use in your home or crafts. They sell furniture all kinds of craft items flower arrangements knitting you namellllp it they have it. I love to go in there when they have 40 or 50o/o off of items and thats when I purchased the more o things, like furniture pieces. You need to take time and just go up and down all the different owls to see what they carry, I think you would love it too.

I like the lovely decor they stock, and the quality is good. While the 50% off sales on seasonal items is great, I sometimes question the original price on the tags. They tend to feel inflated.

Not happy that they got rid of the 40% off coupon in the App. I always find more than I need when I go in there and it was always nice to know that I could use that on my highest priced item. You say you are dropping prices around the store, but I don’t see any changes made in any items I bought today.

Prices seem to have gone way up.& Can NO longer use a 40% off coupon I now go to Michaels & use the 20% coupon off the total or shop Amazon for better prices.hobby lobby use to be my go to store but not very often anymore

Never get a gift card to order items online. They are false advertising that you can use a giftcard to order items online. I would email the better Business bureau for the false advertising of using a giftcard online . It is bull what if a kid was given a giftcard and wanted one of the new diamond crafts they cant order it for them selves with a giftcard . Dont put that you can use a gift card if you cant you are rude

I love Hobby Lobby. I think the location in Columbia gas more product to offer. Product at this location is limited and sells out quickly. Locals in Pasadena dont seem to go outside of Pasadena.

This place we get five stars if it was open on a Sunday. It seems that whenever I need something it always ends up on that day and then Im stuck having to go somewhere or having to wait until the next time when they are open. Theres some cool stuff there but a lot of it is junk. The best parts of Hobby Lobby are the artists sections. If you need art supplies this is definitely one of the places you should stop. But, being closed on Sundays really messes up my schedule when I need something.

Wonderful place to find just a little bit of everything....but they close too early! It hard to take time to browse when you work during the day and by the time you can get there, they close. Most places of this caliber are open until 9:00...add another hour to your open time and you will have a lot more business.

Nice store. Just about every hobby/crafting related item you could need. People here are all polite and store is well stocked. Store is also kept clean and fairly clutter free.

We use tea lights at a historic site i volunteer at. They have then very reasonable. Staff is always very helpful.

I absolutely love this store, I never walk out empty handed! They have a great selection and variety of decorative items. Also crafting items, artificial flowers, paints, art supplies etc... They also have rotating sales, something is always on sale and many times at 40-50% off.

Would not honor a sales price for a model car that you put together. It said 50% off of the $27.99. Lady was super obnoxious about it and embarrassed my 13 yr old son. Won’t be coming back.

If they dont have it at Hobby Lobby they dont make it. They have all of your arts and crafts needs. This is a nice, new store, super clean and bright. I can spend hours here and drop lots of money. Lol. Even if you dont do crafts youll love this store and their home decor.

Whether you are looking for a fun activity with your kids, to redecorate a themed room, or to spice up your desk space, Hobby Lobby is the place to be. Simply put they have the best selection of a huge range of hobby supplies anywhere in 50 miles around the Hanover area. Not only that, but their weekly rotation of specials and deals make it so that you are never pinching your wallet to afford a visit. If you are visiting I would set aside at least an hour because even if you know what you go in for, the selection and options will blow you away.

There were lines all the way back in the isle. They only had 2 lines opened and had workers standing around not doing anything. I finally get to checkout and they say they don’t accept Apple Pay. Even tho the website says they do.
