The staff here is very friendly and willing to help. They keep the store very clean, even sanitizing baskets between customers. The store has a wide variety of options for products, from beginner friendly bundles to high-end selections. They also have options for vegan and cruelty free cosmetics, reef-safe sunscreen, and more.

If I were rating based upon staff, I would give 1 star. The young woman who rang me up was using a headset, and the 2 questions I asked (1 twice) were ignored completely. I thought she was responding to me a couple times, but she was talking on her phone. She blamed it on mgmt, and told me thats how retail works nowadays in a condescending way when I very politely asked her to address me so Ill know who shes talking to. No way she was talking to a coworker, but it wouldnt have mattered. I spent $250 for a wedding, an EXORBITANT amt for me, and would have spent more had she paid a bit of attention, as I was asking about a perfume display at the front of the store. I dont remember ever being treated as rudely. EVER.

I frequent this store quite a bit. This shopping experience was good. An employee was restocking the entire hair care area and still took the time to assist me without being asked. The store is always clean even during restock periods and they typically have a great selection. My only complaint would be when they have signs for the freebies with purchases over a certain amount...and then they dont have said freebie. Im the first to admit I love some bonus gifts 🤷‍♀️

Went to buy 1 pallette but left with so much more. Manager Kim was absolutely steller in helping me pick out makeup gifts and showed me an awesome promo deal they had going on. Im clueless.

They had even I needed to start my new skincare routine. The staff was super helpful too in giving feedback and info about products!

Nice store but it was hard to find someone to assist me on the floor. When I did manage to find the one girl working the floor, she told me to look over a certain product and left to assist a different customer before I could ask questions.

Absolutely loved my first visit to Ulta, I had help from a women who took my thoughts to the shelves and helped me pick out everything I needed/wanted by my own preferences and price ranges. Even on Black Friday, she took her time and helped me find various lip products and contour that would work for me. She even helped me find a full face of makeup for 100 dollars in reputable brands!Not only was it black Friday, but also during the pandemic in 2020. Her level of patience is something all customer service/retail stores need.

I usually only get Derma E products from here since its the closest place to me that sells that brand. The store is always clean and the staff is friendly.

Feb. 8, 2021 I called to book an appointment with my favorite hair stylist Jay only to be told that all of the hair stylists that worked there are no longer there. And they had no forwarding info for the clients of these stylists. Makes one wonder why all the stylists quit. Must not be a very good place to work. Im so disappointed that I lost my stylist Jay. I will probably never go back in this store again.

Not a very good selection of headbands for your hair, but plenty of everything else. Almost too many choices. If you love make up, cosmetics and hair products, this is the place to go.

Walked around the store for over an hour looking for gifts for my employees. No one once asked me if I need assistance or had a question. Never spoke from the time I Walked in. Got to the register the POS system would not read the chip on my card. The lady said she could not do anything (as in manually type my number in). Luckily for Ulta the last try my chip worked. They would of lost a sell. But the Gulfport store definitely lost a customer. I normally shop at the DIberville location. Friendlier staff. Not so consumed with personal conversation amongst one another.

My daughters love this store! There is a huge inventory of make-up and skin care products to choose from in a variety of pricing points. There is also a salon in the back of the store.

I love this Ulta. They are very helpful and friendly. Due to covid no makeup counters are manned but you can still grab whatever is needed.

Its hard to give this place a good review when the staff dismissed me after giving me the COVID speech. I had never been in this store nor any makeup store. She just was not what I was expecting. I needed help and NO ONE would help me.l left empty handed and VERY disappointed.

I normally dont ask for help when I go in, but Ive been having some complexion problems and needed to change foundation. Im terrible with names but the lady working the Clinique counter was so helpful and so kind. She found the right color for me despite the challenge of my extremely pale skin. I will definitely be going back to this location.

Hairdresser didnt color or cut my hair according to the pictures. She used way too much purple shampoo that discolored my hair. And she wanted to take pics of my hair, before and after, with my phone to send to hers since her battery wasnt charged. Absolutely not! This and the total price was outrageous. Never going back to this place!

Always receive prompt assistance from very courteous ladies. Products are explained in full, samples are provided, and I can always find some things on clearance. Ive become a Platinum customer and cardholder.

Went in for a cut and had a very specific picture. I asked that NO length be taken off of the front of my hair. Length was taken off of the front and my hair looks nothing like the picture. I asked multiple times for her to do different things and she kept telling me no she didn’t think it would look right. Excuse me, is this your hair or mine? I won’t be going back for hair services.

Need help and was able to get it fast tonight, after one of the Salon girls came up front tire help with the loads of peeps in the place! Jam packed! *Multiple ppl got out of line to go to the back to check out at the salon! Not to walk out! Remember the REASON,for the SEASON PEOPLE!

The store is clean and well stocked (way better than my store in Baton Rouge) but the customer service is lacking. 1 cashier on a Saturday is RIDICULOUS. It took longer to check out than to shop. Multiple people got out of line. When I brought this to managements attention she said there are only 2 people working. Nothing more. EVEN WORSE! How can you expect customers to leave satisfied when you give one employee to help find product and then one to check out a line of customers in a timely manner?
