Midas in grove city has the best prices, super friendly and professional. My husband left his wallet and walked home and they worked with us. We’ve used them for oil changes and other maintenance repairs and always have no issues whatsoever

The front desk manager I talked to was so helpful! He got my car in as soon as I walked up. My brakes were changed and ready to roll in an hour. It was amazing! They checked my brakes and alignment for free and didnt charge me for services I didnt need.

Where do I start? I brought my truck in due to a grinding noise when turning the wheel. They looked at my truck for 5 minutes and told me the caliper was dragging and needed replaced. Of course they said they had to replace both rotors and pads as well. So $900 later, the noise is still there. I take the truck back in and they dont have time to look at it, so i had to take in another time. Get the truck back in and they diagnose a bad wheel bearing. Luckily they didnt charge me to replace it, but they replaced it and then my anti lock brake system light was coming on and the system was engaging. Again they told me to bring it back in. I bring it in and of course they dont have time to look at it. I finally get the truck back in, they disassemble and put back together and send me on my way. Of course the light comes back on and system continues to engage. They say to bring it back in because the bearing they put in is defective. My wife took it back in and they barely said two words to her as if they were annoyed. However, we are the ones that have spent a lot of time and money for this issue. It appears they may have finally got it right, but I wont be back even if they didnt. Needless to say, we wont be visiting Midas for future business. I dont trust their diagnosis, nor their quality of work.

I recently took two vehicles in to Midas, one for a severe coolant leak that turned out to be the pump, and the second for an oil change and tire rotation. First, the replaced the pump on an 87 Chevy Caprice, not an easy car to work on or get parts for, and had it ready the next day. With the second, we discovered it had wheel locks on the tires, which we didnt have the key lug for and they could not rotate. We did get the locks off and I later took it back for the tire rotation, which they completed with no additional charge. Great job on both vehicles, friendly service, and would definitely recommend them.

I had a great experience. We were on our way on vacation when the car broke down. We had to get this fixed quick and they got us in fairly soon. We did not even make it out of Franklin County and the alternator died. They replaced it and we were back on our way, got there safely and back to Ohio as well the following week.

I brought my car in with the muffler hanging very low, due to a broken clamp. A half hour or so after dropping off the car, they called and said it was fixed and ready to go. When I picked up the car, theyd been able to fix it with an extra clamp they had, free of charge. I was very appreciative and happy with the repair. Very professional, thank you again!

Have always been skeptical about going to these chained stores. Always felt they would find something wrong with yourself vehicle even if if there wasnt. Well this Grove City location, Rocks. Took my vehicle in for an alignment, ad then front end had me concerned.They got it on the rack, 15 min later after checking specs. They camera back and said, it was within range and front end washing tight. The gentleman I dealt with said , Im not going to be charge you for something that doesnt need fixed. Excellent!

I’ve never been to Midas, but I went to fill up air in my tires, and had issues with it. They told me right away it was the sensors from they rotated my tires. They filled up air in my tires and made an appointment for the next day to fix my problem. When I went the appointment, the guy remembered me and got right in. It was really good customer service and they didn’t charge me either.

Second time I have taken my car to Midas this year. Unfortunately due to needed maintenance (brakes) and a gnarly pothole that tried to take me out (tires and shocks). They are well priced for top quality work. Steve has worked with me to find the best price even when the website was working against us.

Took my car in for a wheel noise (likely a bearing) and brake inspection. They inspected and said nothing wrong with bearings, brakes were ok for now, but it needed shocks and struts all way around for a very high price. Told me thats what the noise was. Having at least some mechanical sense, I know that a shock or strut doesnt make a grinding noise that changes pitch as your speed changes. Took my car to the dealer for 2nd look. Guess what... Needed 1 wheel bearing and rear brake pads. Shocks and struts? Not a thing wrong. Had I let Midas do their suggested repairs Id have wasted money and STILL had the problem. Whats worse is a similar thing happened to my son a few weeks back. He went in for brake noise and left with a nearly $2k bill for brakes and shocks/struts. I REALLY wondered why his car, with under 50k miles, would need shocks/struts. Now I think I know why...

Last Friday during a torrential downpour, my windshield wiper on the drivers side stopped working. Lucky for me, I wasnt alone and my friend was able to be my eyes as we made our way off the road to safety. We learned there was a Midas nearby and stopped in without an appointment. They took a look at the problem right away and then fixed it free of charge. We were so appreciative and impressed! What a great group of professionals. Thank you Stuart!

My husband used this location for 6 years for all of his oil changes. He highly valued the close location and friendly staff inside. Never one problem until he dropped off my SUV for an oil change. Midas called him shortly after drop off stating the car wouldnt start and that they had tried multiple times. My husband returns to midas and tried to start my vehicle but couldnt because the engine was locked up. There was a new light on the dashboard i had not seen in the past and when referring to the user manual we then became knowledgeable of the PATS anti theft feature that FORD puts on their vehicles. This feature becomes engaged if a metal object is forcefully inserted into the ignition or a wrong key is used since there is a chip in the key which is read by the car. Midas told us they thought it to be the starter and they would look at it. Left my car with them and received a call next day that the car would need towed to the dealership. Not one offer for help on a tow or any sort of intention on figuring this out together I was left to deal with this alone. Contacted corporate office and spoke to a very nice woman who claimed this was below their standards and they would assist me with the issue. She even asked They didnt even offer you a tow?. My followup phone call was with a very inconsiderate and rude man from upper management who basically stated that since my ignition had been replaced in the past that this did not fall under their responsibility. I then informed him, almost pleading with him the nature of this situation in reference to my families financial situation and that i am indeed a stay at home mom of three school aged children and this was the family vehicle that fits everyone at once and is desperately needed for school transportation. These facts of my life did not even trigger any sort of compassion or consideration for my situation from this upper management guy. I am very saddened as a long term customer at their lack of taking responsibility for what happened to my vehicle while in their possession. These are unprecedented times in which people are struggling! We are a one income household and I am now left with a non running vehicle and unfortunately left with no other option then to save up some money for my car to be inspected and hopefully fixed which god willing comes sooner than later. I completely understand the aspects of running a business but some sort of moral standard is to be expected when entrusting a business with such a valuable and necessary component of your daily life. A tow would have been such a minor financial inconvenience to this large corporation but today they chose repulsive and distasteful immorality. Thank you corporate America.

I own a lawn care company was needing Two tires mounted for one of our mowers, we called several different places in town nobody had the time nor wanted to deal with mounting tires. Everyone blew us off.. We called Midas Steve answered the phone very professional told me to get down here so he could take care of me, as I arrived Steve met me at the door helped me carry in the tires mounted my tires to the spec of the tire treated me like gold I will be back with my fleet of trucks for them to all be serviced all around class act A1 service I highly recommend Midas for everything car truck mower related..

So when I went there I thought I was going to get done what I asked to be done. But unfortunately they did not want to do it because they said that once I drive it off the rack it will go back to the way it was. But isnt that my choice. I did not know that they now determine who pays what and how they pay it because they want to make more money off of what they were going to have to do. Just because I did not approve the inspection for the work to be done did not give them the right not to do the work I had asked them to do. At the time I did not have enough money to perform what they needed me to get done. And I understand thats how they make their money I get it. But that still does not give them the right to say no. He said I would have to get that job done one more time once I bring my vehicle back to get the work done later. to them its all about selecting what they do and what they dont do not having done with the customer needs to be done there was no safety issue that would have been violated and no cause for concerned. Plus it was the day before Christmas Eve. So I will be looking elsewhere for the job to be done until I can take care of the rest. Its pretty sad that in an age where technology is held in our hands that when the person who was there checking me in and handing me my keys when I came back to pick up my vehicle was more interested in looking at his phone then he was having his eyes on me and paying attention to me. Now theyre probably all good mechanics but, just make sure that whatever you need to get done is something you have enough money to do or Midas will not do it because it does not meet to their standards of how much they want to align their pockets with that day.

Gotta love finding honest mechanics. We were under the impression that we needed a new muffler. They could have easily sold us one. Turns out we just had a missing bolt that they fixed for free!!! We will definitely be back for any other work we need.

Free air 24 hrs and they are very helpful. This place are always busy so be mindful of the time that you will have to wait, I mean you will be waiting for a long time. Their services charged are over $100 per hour and they will make that money. It seems that they need more staffs or technicians, but hey.. who more technicians when you charged your services by the hours... stretched them 30 minutes to 3hr or more...

We took our vehicle in only for an estimate. We expected a hefty price but instead a part needed a quick weld and it is as good as used. When we asked for the charge again expecting labor fees, we were told there would be no charge for the five minute fix. When it comes time for actual repairs, this will be the place we go and where I will refer others.

Fast service! Trustworthy too. I went for an oil change had mentioned that my husband thought the battery might need replaced. It would have been an EASY extra sell for them but they put service before sales and let me know that the battery was still fine for now. I appreciate that and will definitely return for future oil changes.

Steve was great! They got me in and out, were personable, and really helped with a tire situation that another place caused. They are a bit pricey, but I would still recommend them to others.

Brake light came on after $1700 brake work 6 weeks ago at the dealer. After 3D of intermittent brake warning light, I took it to Midas because the dealer was a drive away and the original work took 4h. Midas drove my Audi, found no light. Checked all 4 wheel pads and sensors, and drove again with no light appearing. Reassured, I took out my card to pay for the time; “No charge. We do free brake inspections. This was a brake inspection.” I thought this was remarkable and important to share.

Okay so let me start off by saying that I dont normally take the time to write reviews on here, but 5 stars doesnt give this shop enough credit. I was referred here, and the owner (Shawn) immediately got in contact with me, told me I could bring my car in for them to have a look at it AND fix it the same day! As a business owner, I am HIGHLY critical about the customer service that other business owners provide, a successful business and exceptional customer service go hand in hand. The customer service that this shop provides is immaculate. Not only did they get me in the same day AND fix my car the same day, but all the employees were very nice, the owner Shawn was the first one I talked to, he wasnt working today so he had me call Stuart, who was very nice and helpful, he was the one who checked me in and got everything started. Pat was the one who worked on my car (it was having electrical issues), he did a great job and I was in and out of there within an hour! Not only does this shop provide the best customer service Ive ever experienced, theyre also fast, and efficient. Everyone working there was very positive, and seemed happy to be there (extremely rare nowadays). Also, being a woman, I have always been hesitant about taking my car into shops because since I dont know much about cars, its easy for them to take advantage of me. This shop is different- I didnt feel as if they were trying to take advantage of me, and they didnt talk to me like I was stupid (like most shops do). If you choose to take your car here, which I highly reccomend, you will see for yourself that the employees and owner genuinely love what they do. This is the most trustworthy shop I have ever been to. Thanks guys, youre all amazing! 😄

I would not even give this place 1 star. My experience when I went to this Midas was to check my transmission. I was very specific to the attendant to check the transmission fluid before running a costly diagnostic. The gentleman at the desk indicated there was no way of checking the transmission fluid on a 2013 Rogue. A diagnostic check indicated there was a transmission issue and the cost was $3,900 for a full transmission replacement. I took it to 2 other mechanics who indicated there were no diagnostic issues and that my transmission fluid was low. My transmission dip stick was very easy to access and the mechanic filled it with 3 quarts of fluid to bring it up to proper levels. The mechanic told me to check it again in about a week and if the level had dropped that we would need to look into why it is leaking. This cost me $30.00. Also, I just had my oil changed and this shop is suppose to top off all my fluids and change my filter. My windshield fluid was less than 1/4 full and my air filter was put back in upside down. I will never refer this company out again or return for any services. This was ridiculous!

Just purchased new tires and wanted to check the alignment as the old ones showed a little wear on one side. Scheduled an appointment and was serviced on time. The alignment was Good, no problems found and the check up was free. Will remember them next I need service.

Excellent service! I had a headlight that I could not install myself. My van requires going into the wheel well to install the headlight. They brought my van in, took care of it with a smile, even though they were going to be closing in less than an hour. I appreciate their kindness and extremely thoughtful customer service. They refused my debit card even though I tried really hard to pay them. I will definitely be back and advise my friends to do the same

Its terrible, they charge you like you are rich. Get this, a mass air flow sensor 400 plus dollars and that is something so easy that you can do it yourself in less of 5 minutes

I took my work van in because of a vibration when I was going under 20mph and I was worried cause I just left the dump and it was very muddy there. They took it for a test drive and put it on the lift. They told me the problem that there was too much mud underneath and I just needed to goto the carwash and spray underneath. They didnt charge me or the company that I work for. The manager Steve Kirk and his crew are AWESOME. I recommend them to anyone who needs an HONEST evaluation on their vehicle. Thanks guys....

A cheaper, easier, and good place to get an oil change. Ive been to many places for an oil change but this is my favorite.

I had purchased 4 tires from them online and got an appointment to get them installed. I was told about a hour and Id be done. 2 1/2 hours later, I walked out of there with a free oil change and an apology from the manager. About a month or two later, one of the tires started to get low (TPMS triggered low pressure). the weather was cold so I just figured that it was loosing air. Month later, same thing. Took it to the mechanic we typically take our cars to and had them check it out and see if we picked up a nail. NOPE. Turned out that there was some corrosion on the rim that the installer NEVER cleaned and that was the cause of the leak. I may give them another try, but not in the near future. They set it right by giving me a free oil change (which in my opinion after the fact, wasnt much) and they price match their own price from online to phone quote. All that is good, but safety of their customers should go above and beyond! There was never any communication as to why it was taking so long.

I went for an oil change last week October 25, 2018 and Jeff the new manager did a great job to make sure that my car was taken care of. I was able to get right in with very little wait. He was very professional and made sure that his staff did the job correctly and efficiently. I will be back for all of my automotive needs.

The manager did a wonderful job for me. He was honest and gave me a deal I know this because I called around. I got full sets of brakes. I would definitely go back there and will to get the alignment and some other things I know I need.

Worst place to bring your vehicles, called and got a quote. Took my vehicle to get it serviced (just brakes pads, and rotors) after the they wanted me to pay $1139. I told them thanks but no thanks Im coming to get it. When I got there they said they were holding my car until I got a tow truck I said no thanks. Then I was told by Shawn that hell call the cops and either way my car is not leaving the lot without a tow. He then took my keys and walked into the service area. When the police showed up we were immediately told that they do this every month and to blast them on social media, file a complaint at city hall, and report them to the BBB. They have been threatening and manipulating their customers out of money and leaving them feeling like they wont get there vehicles back if they dont pay. Keep in mind the officer told me all of this. So thats what were are doing we did get our vehicle back. But never again will I go to this place for anything nor do I recommend them to anyone. I took my vehicle to Eddies super service on 62 and 71. They are charging us $700 less and they are way easier to deal with.

These workers really came through for me and for that I could not be more grateful - they really went above and beyond! I was making a trip home from Cincinnati to Cleveland and about midway, I hit a very large bump that broke my exhaust pipe. I pulled off at the next exit and pulled in (very loudly, I might add) to this Midas. These men helped me with my broken pipe so quickly (I was back on the road about 45 minutes later) and I felt safe to be driving again. Their kindness was so greatly appreciated and I would absolutely recommend going to this location!!

I have always gone to Midas, I have been to quite a few different ones and havent had any problems with any of them! but this one in particular went above and beyond today! I went in for an oil change and they not only do their inspection on my car but fill the tires with air and rotate them but this time they patched the hole in my tire, even tho I need a new one, but cant get 1 right now so that was awesome with no extra charge AND they even fixed my muffler, which was super loud, for no extra cost either! I couldnt be happier with my experience today because they let me know everything that needs work and even fixed my tire and muffler just to help me out!

I knew something major would have to be repaired before I brought it in, but the staff here was efficient, thorough, and explained all the costs up front - and came in just under the estimate when all was said and done. I trust them to do the right thing. Thank you!!

I called around to random places and Midas not only provided the best service, but prevented me from having my suv towed by taking the time to explain the problem. A few months back I was in a bind on a Saturday and needed brakes and rotors as I was traveling the following week. I dropped my car off in the am and they said they would need a little time to diagnose the issue. 5 hrs later they call me and tell me I need back brakes and rotors(as I already knew). They then tell me the cost will be over $506. They knew they had me as I needed the work done before I had to travel and the day was nearly over by now. I had no choice but to get the work done. Out of curiosity I have since price shopped this work and all estimates are half of what I was charged. I will never go to this Midas or any Midas if they support this type of doing business. Unfair sales practices and price gouging is not the type of service you would expect these days***update***Spoke with Dan the District Manager today and he made things right. Dan showed what extraordinary customer service should look like. I would now be comfortable going back into a Midas knowing that Dan looks out for his customers.

Stay away! This place is a complete rip off and scam. You go in there for 1 basic thing and they try to bait you into needing a half dozen other services. Thought it was just me they were trying to con but as I sat in there waiting on my vehicle, they literally did the same thing to the next 10 customers, to the point where an older lady next to me was really bothered and uncomfortable with it wondering they cant just fix the thing you came in for. One of the extras they con you with is if your check engine light is on. They talk you into hooking up to their diagnostic machine to see what the problem is, but for some odd reason their readings couldnt figure out what the problem was and still charged me a rediculous amount for that.

Brought my vehicle in for an oil change and boy did they give me a load. After almost an hour waiting in the lobby the technician pulled me into the shop to go over all the things he found on my vehicle. To the tune of almost $2200!Now, I know I needed two new tires, so that was part of the cost I could accept. But he told me I needed new brake pads and rotors in the front. I thought that was kind of funny since I had just replaced them about eight months ago. But I figured, Hey, thats an easy job I can do myself. So the following day I jack up my car and what do I find? Brake pads that easily have 2/3 of life left on them, if not more! The pads were as thick as my finger! Definitely not anywhere close to needing replacement. And the rotors were not in any poorer shape as well. So theres a $360 job that was quoted to me and was completely unnecessary. And now Im completely skeptical about the other work they recommended.The other thing that I found surprising is that in all that work they recommended they did not mention getting my parking brake fixed. The cable snapped on me a few weeks ago, so I have no parking brake and the brake light is on constantly. There is no way they could have missed that! So now I really question how reputable the technician really is.It seems to they are either taking advantage of people who just dont know better or completely clueless. I cant recommended this location even for an oil change. If you have a coupon take it somewhere else where they honor competitors coupons. Because you will not like what you get.I should probably check to make sure they bothered to put the oil plug back in.

I kinda called last minute and they accommodated me quite nicely. I knew there were other things I needed like windshield wipers and break pads but couldnt do all of it at once and he gave me absolutely no pressure. I did get the wipers tho lol. They took 3400 dollars from my daughter we didnt even get a block away until we had to turn around to take it back 3 times he told her he had to order parts and would call when they came in were still waiting for the call and now her car will not run DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. They are lairs and im contacting corporate

I had my car towed to Midas in Grove City to get a new alternator - closest place my roadside assistance would take me. I was charged $500 for a refurbished alternator ($250 max at Advanced Auto -where they got the part) and $70 for a $25 alternator belt. I was taken advantage of because it was obvious that without a running vehicle, you cannot go somewhere else. Both parts are 100% + markup? Is that how Midas does business??? I called the location and the manger refused to give me any info about the markup, but did tell me where the part was purchased. I called the District Manager - no response. BBB report filed, I expect to pay a fair and reasonable price, not be taken advantage of.

I have always had a great experience at this Midas. They are really open and honest about what needs to be fixed right away and what can wait.

Ben - the manager is professional and it seems to have resonated with his staff. Sorry to hear that he is leaving. Overall my experience with this location was good. I usually avoid franchise repair shops due to the higher prices charged, but this Midas/crew seemed to know what they are doing.Thanks guys.

Traveling from Columbus to Cincy, when the brakes started making a grinding noise. Stopped in Midas in Grove City. The guys there stayed open late on a Saturday to make sure we would get home ok. Thank you, thank you Nate and mechanic (sorry I dont know your name). So awesome!

I called in to ask if they could get me in for an oil change and the guy said yeah come on in. I arrive no less than 5 minutes later and the store manager said we cant get you in until Monday. I began to explain how 5 minutes earlier I was told to come in and thats when the manager became very defensive and rude. I have never had a bad experience with a professional business before until I came here. I cant believe they did that to a customer.

After calling a few shops midas offered the most help. Upon arrival, manager Shawn told me exactly what to do and my car would be done the same day as I was a last minute arrival. I did and he did and I was on my way home before closing. Shawn was a pro in every way. Midas has a good one in this guy.

Everytime I go to this Midas I feel appreciated as a customer and always leave knowing the work done was completed correctly and I feel safer knowing Steven and his team did the work on my vehicle! Thank you guys for all you do!

DO NOT GO HERE THEY CHARGED AN ARM AND A LEG TO FIX MY WHEEL BEARING IT BROKE 5 MO THS LATER BECAUSE IT WAS NOT SEALED THE PAPERWORK I SIGNED SAID WARRANTY ONLY FOR 90 DAYS I HAD TO TAKE IT TO THE DEALER TO BE FIXED AND THWN THE DISTRICT MANAGER OF MIDAS SAID NO YOUR WARRANTY IS FOR A YEAR THE PAPERWORK IS WRONG AND REFUSED TO REIMBURSE AFTER GETTING IT FIXED SOMEWHERE ELSE THEY ARE LYING TO COVER THEMSELVES I HAVE A LEGALLY SIGNED WARRANTY THEY CLAIM IS WRONG SO NOW THEY CAN GET OUT OF PAYING US TO HAVE SOMEWHERE FIX IT

Needed a headlight replaced, one just went out. They are quick and good price.

Pat and Stuart are the best! My car had been acting up and not starting. After taking it to multiple places with no answers, I took it to Midas and they were able to fix it within the day!
