Purchased two beds and a nightstand and after opening my daughters bed box noticed something was off. We were missing some pieces, and pretty upset about it at the moment. Waited until morning when the store opened and spoke with Brian, which was extremely professional and reassured me everything would be resolved. Originally we had a friend help bring the items home, so I was worried about now transporting another bed/pieces in my small sedan. Brian called and gave me updates until the warehouse supervisor, Shawn (hope I spelled that right) got in. Not only did they replace the bed but delivered and assembled it to ensure it was fully functional. Hats off to these guys, they went above and beyond all expectations. It was clearly a manufacturer issue which any other place could have given me a hard time about, but they truly took their time to listen and help. Thanks guys! We will definitely be back.

I purchased a GE Cafe Induction range here yesterday, they held it till I arrived, wrapped it, offered me an extra 10% off. The guys were efficient, polite, and we completed the transaction within 30 minutes of arriving. They knew that we drove 2.5 hours to pick up the range. The range is beautiful. Friendly, reasonable prices for scratch and dent rather than paying full price for the same appliance, I can live with a little dent because its hidden when installed and other stores would take up to 12 weeks minimum to get appliances because of shortages.

Okay, so Im a longtime customer of the Sears Outlet, and Ive bought numerous appliances on many occasions (in different cities), including washer/dryer, several dishwashers, microwaves, gas ranges, gas grills, etc. Theres an art to buying appliances at a Sears Outlet, which is a scratch-and-dent store. Most appliances are damaged to some extent, ranging from barely noticeable to it was hit by a forklift. It requires patience to find the right appliance with the best features and the least visible damage. The savings are worth the effort. Since Sears went belly-up, their Outlet stores were renamed American Freight. I cant vouch for this new incarnation, but the store in Greenville seems much unchanged. I want to also mention that Sears Outlet in Tucker, Georgia (Atlanta) is especially large and remarkably well stocked.

My refrigerator went out right before Thanksgiving. After a lot of research I found a fridge that I liked at one of the big box stores, but delivery was 2 weeks away. When I went back to the drawing board I found an even better fridge with these guys for less money!! I called and talked to Larry who said that the delivery was set for Saturday and Tuesday was the next available day. (They deliver Saturday, Tuesday and Thurs (I think Thurs). When I told him I lived near by he went above and beyond to try to get me in the route for next day delivery!! I feel so much gratitude for him going out of his way to accommodate me. It was a holiday miracle!! Also being able to call and not be on hold was an extra bonus. Great customer service!!

Purchased a dishwasher 4.20.19 and a very important part did not show up; the hose connector to get water into the dishwasher. Few issues with the product and the initial phone call was tough-. **Update: Larry, the store manager, agreed to refund our purchase price. He also reimbursed us for all of the food we had to throw away. He offered to have someone come out late last night (after 9:30 pm) to deliver it, but it was simply too late and would have woken up our child. We appreciate the effort and apology.**Purchased a new fridge 1 week ago. Selected Saturday as our delivery day, and something happened that made them have to cancel. We understand things happen, and the manager agreed to refund our $90 delivery fee which was nice. We were satisfied with that outcome.The delivery was then rescheduled to the following day between 1-3. It’s almost 9 pm and we still have no fridge. No communication about if they’re still coming or not? Our old one is gone and our food has been in coolers in the garage for 2 days. My daughter is asleep and is bound to be woken up if they ever arrive. I’ve called and there’s no delivery option for tomorrow. No one seems to care.This is completely unacceptable. We should have spent an extra $250 for the model without scratches at any other store. It would have made up for all of the food we now need to throw away. Plus we have literally spent our entire weekend waiting on a delivery. Spend the extra money to shop somewhere else. So disappointing.

I purchased a Dewalt 55126 pancake compressor on 12/1/2019, less than 3 months ago. During that time I had used it twice and it worked fine. I was also away for 1 of the 3 months since purchase. I used it for the 3rd time 3 days ago on 2/25/2020 and the pressure would not shut off at set level. This was a reconditioned unit that the salesman told me came with a 90 day warranty. I thought I was lucky as I was still within the 90 day time frame. I called sears and was told that the product came with no warranty. I asked if I bought it took it home and it was broken wouldnt it be under warranty and I was told no. I saw nothing about no warranty, I signed nothing about no warranty and was told the item had a 90 day warranty. I could have purchased this item new at home depo on sale for $129 instead I paid $99 at sears outlet. Not nearly worth it. Do not shop there.follow up:I spoke with Larry the store manager and he couldnt have been more helpful Changed my opinion of the store entirely!!!

Terrible experience. I bought an refrigerator but they ran out of stock it took a week to get the refund and after that they refund me $2 short what I had paid (they refund me after I call twice). I had paid for the delivery but they couldnt delivery then I had to arrange my own. He said that would refund me the delivery fee plus $60 of inconvenience fee but I had to drive all the way there (60 miles) to get the refund. When I got there he didnt refund the inconvenience fee and I didnt need to drive there to get the refund.

Ordered a stove, and a dishwasher. They had us write down our new address so the driver would NOT get lost. They changed our first deliver date do to wanting to deliver it so late at night. Why say we could do it that day if they didnt have an open spot. So they were going to deliver it at 10am the next day instead. Not once do they call eather of the two numbers they had. My husband gets a text saying they are here he is at work. So instead of calling both numbers like we were told would happen so this issue wouldnt happen. I have now waisted my whole day waiting for someone to show up. My sister in law told us to come here. This was the first and last time I will come here. The service sucks. If the appliances were not a gift I would get my money back and go elsewhere.

Sears Outlet is not too bad. They have some really good deals but you have to watch what the merchandise looks like. It looks like most of the merchandise in this location is scratch and dent. If its not scratch and dent then you have to deal with their whole reason Sears is closing down the prices seem to be outrageous. I would guess that it will not be too long before the store is not here any longer. If you would like to get a deal on the scratch and dent I would head there to purchase an appliance but if you were looking for a new Appliance I would head elsewhere.

We placed an order online for a washer and dryer that were in stock. The transaction went through, and the store waited until 30 minutes before they closed to send us an email that someone else bought our items. Since there is nothing comparable and in the same price range, unfortunately we are out of luck and have to try purchasing our washer/dryer elsewhere. Its a shame to see this type of poor website/store communication still around in 2020.

Their prices really aren’t as competitive as I thought they’d be and the selection was mostly on the higher end of models for washers and dryers specifically. They had a bunch of couches/sectionals to offer and a miscellaneous section for outdoor equipment.The website was not updated properly with current inventory. When I called, they said it’s likely not always accurate which makes it hard to compare prices at home.I probably wouldn’t use them again.

Manager told us the delivery team didn’t want to do the home install so he said “I can’t make them go into someone’s house.” There are plenty of people who want to work. I do not recommend l. Prices are just as high and these products are damaged pretty bad.

Horrible and extremely inconvenient experience!! I should have read the poor reviews before purchasing from this store/company. Bought an seemingly nice but expensive fridge, picked it up myself with using my brothers truck to avoid the $90 delivery fee (crazy that it’s that much when you are buying an expensive appliance already).Get home a hook it up, allow the 24 hours for fridge to start cooling. Freezer part got pretty cold but the top fridge part was not cooling very well (barely below room temp after 24-48 hours of being plugged in).Call Sears, they tell me to call the LG company. Get in touch with LG- they tell me to lower fridge temp even more to -4 in freezer and 33 in fridge. This does not work after another 24-48 hours. I call Sears outlet back to tell them it is not working adequately. I was told that I could come in an pick another one out and they would be able to pick up this falty one. However the next available date to deliver was about 2 weeks out. I decide I’m just going to buy another one else where and schedule a pick up date for them to remove bad fridge.Buy another fridge at Lowe’s to be delivered the day after removal of old one. Sears tells me they will be there between 1:30 and 3:30 pm... at 4:30 no one had arrived, call sears to check on status— they have no answers but tell me they will get in touch with delivery guys. 6pm have not heard anything still, I call back— still no answers and man tells me he can’t get in touch with them and they will not be able to get fridge today. I remind him I have another fridge to be delivered the next day— he could care less and rushes me off phone. At 8:55pm he calls back to tell me he has not heard anything at all from delivery men and won’t be able to get back in touch with me for 2 days.I am so frustrated as I have already set up my new fridge to be at my home tomorrow— I do not have room for two refrigerators!!! Sears has given horrible customer service, never had answers, staff rude and dismissive to my inconvenience! As a busy working women and grad student I do not have extra time to deal with this and wait around for hours for a service that does not get taken care of. Their delivery department should be better about communicating with customers in order to provide better service.Will not be dealing with any sears stores again!!

The customer service here is decent, but the prices make no sense. Like my mother always tells me Save a little more and buy something worth it. To start, this are damaged products with prices not much lower then retail and some products cost MORE then retail prices like at Home Depot. Once you add warranty and the delivery fee, you might as well buy a new product. I ended up going to Home Depot where I spent roughly $2500 for an LG French refrigerator and an LG true conventional topglass stove. This includes warranty up to 10 years, free delivery plus installation, and a peace of mind Im getting a product with no defects. The fridge we were looking at Sears Outlet cost 1500 and the stove $500. Then you add warranty and delivery which roughly cost $2500 as well. People use common sense and a calculator. Sears Outlet, we visit your locations for great prices with competetive deals where both consumers and business are satisfied. 2 stars just because I believe youll can do much better. Consider restructuring you business model, because sooner or later youll be just another Block Buster.

Dont buy the extended warranty. They will not honor it. We bought a high end gas stove top (among other things). One of the knobs malfunctioned and we called to have it fixed over 2 months ago. Still have a burner we cant use on a $1000 appliance.

Delivery of Appliances - I bought a refrigerator on a Wednesday and they were not able to deliver it til the following Tuesday. They did recommend a non-affiliated guy who does deliveries around the area named Mike McKenney. He picked up the new fridge, set it up and removed the old one for a reasonable price on the same day! I would highly recommend Mike McKenney if you need deliveries of large items. Solid work and same day service.

My experience at the Sears outlet has always been a positive one. I have purchased all of my appliances here for my two new homes four years apart and once while we were renting in between. I have never had an issue with a broken appliance. Yes, you are purchasing an appliance with a potential cosmetic issue which is what you will see at the store before you purchase it. But you choose your own. Once at my house, I dontnotice the slight insinuation nor a tiny scratch but I sure would have if I paid twice the price at a different store. The sales team is excellent. The supervisor has gone above and beyond to make sure that my purchase experience was a pleasant one. I recommend the Outlet to anyone who needs any appliances, beds, couches, etc. These are some great prices you simply cannot get anywhere else.

I updated this review after Sears made a situation right. Recently bought a refrigerator, shopping experience went fine and got good deal. Mishap occurred over the delivery not coming as scheduled, highly suspect (I think) due to a delivery guy wanting to clock out early. Larry the manager reached out to us next day, profusely apologized, and remedied the situation in a meaningful way.He then showed up with the delivery guys! Good job Larry!So I would definitely buy from Sears outlet again, just pass on the delivery and do it yourself. No one will care more about not making more dings and scratches in it than you on its way to your house.

They told us to unplug it let it defrost it fixed it a week well after that week it was out of warranty They want $89 to come out and the cost to fix it. Why should we have to pay we didnt do anything but put food in it and we lost all of it. Dont normally leave reviews but I feel like I need to in this situation.My wife and I had decided to purchase a Samsung Washer Front loader with the small door on main door. This was sold to us as a used machine with MINOR scratches and dents.The people at the store also sold us the protection plan stating that if anything was wrong we could call them and they would fix it or even replace it.We took the machine home finding the Door would not completely close also it would make a horrible noise when it entered the spin cycle.We called the Outlet and they told us to call warranty and they would come fix it no problem.When the repairman came out to look at it he pointed out the face of the washer had been bent in causing the door not to close, the sides had been clamped looking like it had been dropped and rolled around. He deemed it un-repairable and suggested that we return the machine which we did within the 30 day return policy.We returned the machine and they took it back the guy that helped us even said he was waiting for this one to come back due to the amount of damages on the machine...We had to call a separate number to get the warranty policy returned they cut us a check and now they canceled it.This company is crooked and my family and i will not be buying anything from them or Sears again.

I ordered a GE Café Range at this location that was listed as floor model, which according to the website, A new, unused item that has been removed from its original packaging and placed on our sales floor. Extremely limited signs of wear on the item or its packaging. Instructions are included. I paid almost $400 to have it shipped from SC to Arizona, which was still a great deal for the range. I was notified over the phone that there was a small dent on the oven handle and a scratch on the side, which I agreed was not an issue and was assured that it was tested and functional. What I received had drop damage to the underneath, no instructions, smashed feet that couldnt be extended, side panels which were not connected, food residue inside of the oven doors and caked onto the interior oven glass, and yes a dent on the handle and scratch on the side. I was willing to overlook all of these because Sears guarantees functionality, All Sears Outlet Certified Products:Are rigorously tested for full, like-new functionality Have missing parts replaced Are repaired, if necessary, and retested Are refurbished with replacement parts for mechanical defects found during testing Are fully cleaned and sanitized. Well guess what? I tried preheating both of the ovens in my new unused range with undisclosed damage and magic food in the doors and neither one works. I used the appliances self-diagnostics and came up with a cooling fan that is broken, something any employee of Sears could have done before this 300lb paperweight was shipped to me. Now I call Sears and ask for a return, they tell me I can expect an email scheduling a pickup return in 3-5 business days, 5 business days later I call back and they tell me theyll escalate it and I can expect an email in 48 hours, I call back in 72hours and suddenly they have no record of me calling, so we go to our second round of escalation and waiting and emails that will never arrive. Im probably going to have to contest these charges with American Express to get my money back and this hunk of junk out of my house.Dont do business with Sears Outlet, they do not honor their guarantee, and their products are not as they are listed. Im two weeks in to this nightmare with no end in sight.Update: The same day this review went live, Larry, the store manager called me to get it straightened out. I had a pickup scheduled with Pilot that day. He has since called me to check status a couple of times. Its now a week later, the range was picked up, but still no refund. Sears corporate is utterly useless. Ive now been told the refund will be processed once the range is physically received at the store. I expect Ill be calling Larry to actually get my money back because anyone at the main customer service number seems utterly incapable of doing anything. Larry, hats off to you, a shining diamond in a dung heap. Ill update it again if the return gets processed.Update 2: Well, the range got delivered back to the store and once again Sears Customer Service is useless. I called two different service numbers and they both told me that they could send an email to return processing but they couldnt help me and within 3-5 business days I would get a response. I was about to call Larry and then he actually called ME the morning I was about to call him, and he expressed concern that the return hadnt been processed. He escalated things and the SAME DAY I got an email that a check was in the mail. Once again, Larry saves the day.Larry, if I needed an appliance, Id buy it from you. I updated this review from one star to two. Thats Larrys star. Because hes a star. In fact, Sears doesnt deserve stars, both of those stars are Larrys.

Consumer warning!!!! Wow talk about overpriced!! Asking $3800 for a refrigerator without any bells and whistles then marking it down 45% thats insane! You can get way better deals at Home Depot.
