I bought a washer and dryer and it started out a little bumpy at first since the dryer didn’t work. After several visits it was realized the element wasn’t working so they replaced my dryer and the one I got works awesome!! I am very pleased and would use KWR again in the future! We just moved here and needed a decent washer and dryer. This place is a little hidden but we found it and couldn’t be happier. They were knowledgeable and friendly. They had delivery and set up available. We got a great set for a great price. We would highly recommend them.

Found exactly what I was looking for, quick, pleasant service.Edit: when the fridge was delivered and we got it set up, we found that the door didnt close properly and seal. We contacted KWR who sent a technician out. He removed the door, added a spacer and it works great, door closes and seals. The fridge is cold and the freezer keep stiff frozen. We wanted a garage fridge, we got a great working one at a reasonable price.

You are better off paying $1000 at home depot or lowes for their economy washer and dryers. Stained all of our white linens. Washer broke. Had to take both back into KWR where they fixed them. Paid $600 for the set, and now I am stuck with them. Poor customer service. Rude staff. Avoid this company!

Awesome selection on pre-owned merchandise. Really great and down to earth staff. I own rental investments and this place will be my go to shop for the future. Can’t believe i spent as much as i did buy these things new. They also give you a very fair trade in value on yours if you can’t fix it. I was actually given more than i was quoted for my washing machine.

I purchased a washer and dryer together in late October and the washer is already out. I did purchase a warranty I paid 300 for unit 75 delivery fee and the warranty company only gave me 100 dollars. KWR said they can’t do anything about it and they refuse to deliver to my home even tho they’ve done it before. I dnt recommend this place at all!

Very Disappointed. I used this company a few years ago and the owner was upstanding and honest. I am not sure what has changed. I sent my daughter and her husband to your company because of previous service. The dryer worked once! The warranty that they purchased took three months to respond and because of that they have a paperweight!This is not what customer service is about! I will never suggest that anyone I know use your company after the condescending attitude I received over the phone.

Purchased a used dryer from them the other day. While browsing the small selection, the salesman inquired about our old one. Informed him of what happened and that it was located upstairs in the laundry room. Didnt mention that he couldnt deliver and install anything upstairs.So, he delivered today. Informed me that he could only bring to the garage. Didnt haul off the old one like he said and charged me $75 delivery and install fee. They are not honest and upfront. My wife called, and all they offered was a $25 credit. If you purchase from them, make sure that you pick up yourself and save on delivery/setup fee. Thank goodness my oldest son was home and that I had a set of hand trucks.

Purchased a washer and started having problems after 5 months. Dont purchase the warranty with cps because they wont come out and fix any issues. They just try to pay you a low ball number and your still stuck with the issue with your appliances

Good prices on used appliances that they have tested and come with a warranty. They hauled away my old one too. I am glad I was turned on to this place by a friend. They also do repairs so I will keep that in mind for next time another appliance in my house breaks down.

I recently purchased a refrigerator on November 18. The ticket number is 09571. I saw the ad on Facebook market place and chose to purchase this particular refrigerator because it came with a warranty where other sellers did not. My sister and I went to KWR appliances and purchased the refrigerator and our friend met us there with a pickup truck to take it home. While purchasing the item I asked several times about the warranty because I was skeptical about buying used appliances. He reassured me that if anything with wrong with the refrigerator in the first 30 days (except the ice maker), his service guys would come and fix it. If they couldnt fix it they would replace it. After the 30 days, my extended warranty would cover it. The fridge worked perfectly ( except for the ice maker) for about two weeks. The fridge then stopped working. When I called to get it fixed, he said I would have to bring it to the shop because I had picked it up instead of having it delivered. He also said that it would take at least a week or maybe longer to fix it. I cant go that long without a fridge so he told me I could exchange it. I drove an hour to go back to the shop to pick out a new one but none of the ones her offered were as good as the one I purchased. My issue is not with the fact that the warranty is voided if you pick up yourself, my issue is the fact that he NEVER informed me of that. Had he told me that, I would have paid the extra money for delivery knowing its not feasible to hall a giant fridge back and forth for repairs that may be needed. On my ticket, under where my address should go is written p/u which I assume stands for pick up since they would not need my address to deliver. On that same ticket is is written that I have the KWR 30 day warranty and the extended warranty. Why would they even write that I have there 30 day warranty when they knew I was picking it up? I picked it up immediately after purchase, and he asked me before the purchase how I was getting it home so he knew I was taking it with me. Yet he still told me his service men would come out to fix problems and wrote it on my ticket! I went again to KWR to speak with him about it and he denied ever telling me I would be covered by the 30 day policy and would send a service man out but it would cost me $75! So now I am out my money and a working fridge during holiday season. I am beyond frustrated!

Great experience - KWR saved us a ton of money when we were new to town and needed a washer/dryer fast. We had a minor issue with our dryer, likely due to our moving it into the house and Greg sent a tech out right away. Tech was polite and respectful and solved our issue in no time.

Called the store after purchasing 700 dollars worth of Appliances including a 1 year warranty having prob barley a month later with the washer Coding dc ask for help with registering the extended warranty and was told this morning well we don’t help with those and then I’m pretty much SOL I asked to speak to the owner and was told that he can’t give that information out that I can call back tomorrow to speak to Gary the person who sold them they can’t even find my receipt and anything to verify that he sold it to me because he’s in the office and claiming it’s a mess everything’s on paper so he hast to have time to find it so I’m pretty much just SOL with a broken washer that I just spent tons of money on a month ago a one year warranty that doesn’t work because they keep telling me that I need more information from KWR appliances ?? 1000% would not recommend this location *(will update my review if and when owner reaches out left my name and number however his morning sales man really needs training and better customer service training and I’m sticking to that )*

Found the perfect new gas stove at half the cost! One small dent that is barely noticeable, but the part can be replaced if needed. I was working on a time crunch, and Greg managed to have it delivered and put me in touch with a local plumber to install. All that plus a 1-year extended warranty! Couldn’t be happier with my purchase and highly recommend shopping here first!

Their appliances are fixed up just enough to make it past the 30 day warranty. My washer inlet valve died after 40 days and the seal was bad on the transmission making grease spots on the floor. I didnt expect new but it should work for at least 6 months without major problems. Do yourself a favor. Buy cheap from a individual so you can afford to repair it or a new one that you can rely on.

So, the first thing to know about this place is that theyre a used appliance store and that they dont offer refunds. It says so on their receipt and their website but they wont mention it to you when youre cashing out or anything, theyll just wait til you mention it first and then inform you. Second thing is that yes they do offer a 30 day warranty but if you dont opt for the $75 delivery then youll be responsible for returning the equipment for warranty work. I say this because I purchased a washer and dryer for $450 and after bringing the washer up three flights of stairs, I turned on the washer and it wouldnt drain or spin. I contacted the owner, understandably upset and after they informed me about returning it myself for work, and then that I wouldnt be able to get a refund, finally they told me that they would send someone to pick up the washer the next day. Then I realized that the dryer knob to start was internally worn and just spun freely so I had to pull the knob off and use pliers to start it. And then after messing with the controls on the washer, working with the drain pump etc, it finally started to work but every time it either requires a bunch of effort to drain and spin or it works flawlessly. Now what should I do? Spend a morning bringing the appliances to the store just to argue with a tech about whether theyre working or not when I have to hang around the washer the entire cycle to make sure it runs and then tinker with it when it doesnt? And when they refuse warranty work because it works, I just eat my pride and bring the headache back home? I will say that the high points of the experience were being able to back a truck into the store to load the appliances, and they let me use their handtruck, and they gave me some cardboard to wedge between the washer and dryer.BUT I will also say that when I called the store for the third or fourth time in 30 minutes to inform them that the washer wasnt working and (at the time) the dryer wasnt working, that they would send someone by the next day with a replacement for the washer and a free $40 yearlong warranty but I (regrettably) declined both after I got the washer working, I didnt think that it wouldnt be an everyday hassle and now I dont know where to go.All in all, just be prepared for anything because you might have a smooth experience and you might not. Three stars because they did try to remedy the solution, and three stars because they make warranty work a headache and dont offer refunds.

Update 1/14/2021. Warranty people did not want to fix because value of refrigerator is only $250. We paid over $500 after taxes. So warranty people are only willing to give $250 back. So we are out $250 and have a broken refrigerator. Do not trust this company!!!! In response to your response. First, we found you on Market Place. We didnt go to any website. Second, it is not about the fee. The small fee you mention is $75. That is 15.8 % of the purchase price when we were told it was free. This is about being lied to. Thirdly, I can now understand why you are not a member of the BBB. We were scammed.Im adding to Amys review. It wasnt even 2 weeks before it broke down. Purchased on 11/18 and left a voice mail at KWR on 11/28. We arent moved into the house full time yet so we dont know the exact time it stopped working. We turned it down because the drinks were freezing. It stopped working so we turned it back up and thought ok, we cant turn it down because it stops working. But then it stopped working even on high. It goes off and on again. Lost food twice due to it stopping. We plan on moving full time in the house on 12/7 but wont have a working refrigerator because it cant be trusted. Drove an hour to KWR to see if we could trade it back but there was nothing suitable for a replacement. Never doing business at KWR again.

This place does not cover water lines in refrigerators ice makers. They told us to bring it back and they would give us another refrigerator. We took it apart drove All the way back there and he said no. You can leave it here but you cant switch it out

I paid $265 for a used washing machine on 1/18/2020. It’s now 3/11 and I contacted them to let them know that 4 days ago the washer quit working. They said I could pay $50, bring it back to them and they’ll look at it then give me a price to repair it. Or they offered me an extended warranty through another company for $40 and then I would contact that company to deal with the repair. I understand we’re dealing with used appliances and they can’t warrant for long, but seriously, if someone just spent $265 with you for something that worked less than 2 months and you won’t even offer a swap out.

I purchased a dryer from them they had to replace it within 2 weeks the new dryer also went out .. they said it was my apartments fault . My apartment showed proof of how my vents were blown out and their was nothing in them the owner still insisted it was my apartments . Then said they would replace but I would have to figure out how to get it . Overall horrible experience so I’m stuck with a dryer I cannot use

Great value and great service! After shopping around at the big box stores I was overwhelmed with sticker shock on a few appliances that I needed for my new place. KWR had a great selection and beat everyone’s price hands down. The delivery team was very professional and on time. I would definitely check them out the next time you are in the market for an appliance purchase!!

We purchased a washer and dryer from them and 3 days after the purchase, they both stopped working properly. The washer held water in it after the wash, which led me to setting the clothes on spin again. The dryer would run, but it would not spin to allow the clothes to dry; I had to manually spin the dryer in order for it to work. We had a warranty, so we swapped out the washer and the dryer. I was at work when they delivered them so I did not know until I got home that the dryer did not work. I filed a claim with CPS and once they came out and looked at the dryer, they told me that they no longer make parts for my dryer! Now Im stuck with a dryer that does not work! There goes $225 down the drain. Oh I forgot to mention, that the other guy told us that he just repaired that dryer (side eye).

They price depending on how they feel & who you talk to. We were told one price... & also told they had more than one option in this price range. We get there... were told a completely different price & that the other sets were sold. Even though they had only been open for 2 hrs & we got the pricing at 10:30pm the night before. Horrible business practices. & guess what??? No prices on anything. Go figure!!!!!!

This is the worst experience my family has ever had with an appliance business. If they has the option for no stars, I would put that on there because these people dont deserve even one star. Not only did they screw my mom out of two washing machines, they refused to give her money back because they were faulty machines. On top of which my mother and father were very accommodating to their rudeness and lousy customer service. I have never met such rude people in my life and I worked in retail for a long time. We are in the process of getting a lawyer for this situation. They do nothing but lie and make it seem like its the customers fault. That also say they are a family oriented business .yeah dont believe that either. Dont ever go to this place .Theyll sell you faulty machines and never live up to what they say. Also their warranty is lousy. They say they have a 90 day warranty with every purchase but what they sent sent tell you is that is free for the first 30 days, then you have to pay for the rest which is a scam. Dont EVER go to this place. Unless you want to get screwed and deal with lousy customer service and extremely rude people.

We purchase a dryer and when purchased the salesman asked me did I need a three or four plug advised him that I needed a three plug and he said no problem I’ll go ahead and change it out upon picking it up a couple days later when we get the appliance home we found it the three plug was not installed calling the appliance shop the next day come to find out they wanted me to bring the appliances back which I felt was unfair due to the mistake on their part or not putting the correct plug on the dryer After speaking with the manager we were told that he would get back with us to schedule a date to come out and change after several days of went by we have yet to hear from the owner and when called the owner blocked our number

Picked up a washer and dryer yesterday. The washer worked fine but the dryer didnt heat at all. Wanted me to pay 95 to deliver exchange dryer. Please read reviews before purchasing because i sure wish i would have.

This was the worst place Ive ever walked into. They lied and said it was $40 or $49 down 0 and you had to pay it off in 90 days they didnt tell you it went through a finance company then I told me they didnt have nothing for that false so so wrong 😠

Me & My husband bought a front load washer & dryer Oct. 17 & was told everything in good working condition. Said the washer had been ran through the cycles 3x’s. We decided to pick up because we got it faster, if not we would have to wait a while. Due to the fact my husband was going through chemo & didn’t want to go to the laundry mat also he knew this, we would drive from Belton, SC. to get it. Was assured everything in good working condition & paid $582 cash that day. Was told about the “good” warranty.Well got home & got them in the house & ran the washer through a cycle & water was all over the floor!!I called & told the man & he said well you picked up so you will have to bring it up here! Due to the fact my husbands condition we could not do this after just getting them home. He never once said he was sorry or anything just said he don’t know what was wrong because he ran it through 3 cycles & never leaked!Well long story short! Called an appliance store to come out & check! The cold inlet valve was leaking like crazy & also the rubber seal in the front of washer had a slit in it, so when ran water just came out.They said there was NO way could have been ran through 3 cycles with no leaks!!!!!!! We had to pay an extra $255 for repair but would rather have someone else to fix then someone that lied to us.I do not recommend this place!

I asked about a fridge they had posted and he told me a bit about it and that for some additional fees they could drop it off and haul off my old one.He then asked me to pay immediately over the phone, which I was uncomfortable with. I slept on it for a night and ended up going with another appliance store in town that delivers and installs to show that everything is in good working order prior to processing payment.Well Greg called me back again today to inquire as to whether I was interested in the fridge. I respectfully told him that I had gone with another provider. I hadnt even finished my sentence before he muttered a profanity and hung up on me!I would strongly advise anyone stay away from this shady practice.PS: In looking at the google reviews, it seems that MANY of the 5-star reviews are from fake (bot) accounts. Please do your homework before dealing with this company and steer clear.

I bought a used Frigidaire dryer from KWR. Price was fair and the dryer is working well after 2 weeks. Very professional and accommodating. Delivery was on time and done well. The guy (I cant recall his name) who delivered and set up the dryer worked his behind off in the heat. He deserves a raise! Would recommend and buy from KWR again.

KWR appliances really helped me out. My Samsung dryer was grinding to a halt, they told me to bring it in and they fixed it within a week. They let me borrow a dryer while they fixed mine! Exceptional service, something you don’t see very often in this day and age. Oh yeah, my dryer runs perfectly now. I definitely recommend KWR Appliances.
