Needed sturdy beds for our rental property and wanted something we could stain. Found the perfect beds... Purchased 5 beds (a double, three singles and a shorty) in the Cleveland Style.I put all five beds together myself and oiled them all. Really delighted with the result. Sturdy & strong with lots of clearance underneath, exactly what we were looking for!I asked for beds to be delivered a few weeks after I ordered (otherwise they would have been delivered right away) and this was done with an email confirming my request.Very, very happy! 2ft6 bed with storage.I purchased a standard length 2ft6 single bed with drawers and bed end.The bed and package arrived very quickly - it is well made and was easy to construct. The drawers are similarly well made and easy to construct.I then wrote to them about mattresses - I received a reply very quickly and I purchased a mattress with memory foam, this also arrived quickly. It is surprisingly comfortable for its price - I think it is very good value.These are the reasons I have given this firm 5 stars.

We have a box room and a small single bed does not even fit into it as its that small (length ways) After much research I came across Strictly Beds and Bunks and found they done a shorty range (173cm in length x 85cm in width) I got this lovely high bed for my 4 year old (he is a confident climber and in the 80s most of us slept in bunkbeds) I could of got a bespoke one at the price of around £700 but I have to say I love this bed we got. Its super sturdy and well made. I bought the shelf that goes with it to.I know this bed will last until my son is a teenager (I am 5ft 3 and can lie in it perfectly)With this bed I even managed to get a full size adults wadrobe in behind the door!So happy to of found a company who is not ripping you off because you require a different size

Brought a loft style bed for my tiny box room...fast quick delivery...Great price...bit of a struggle to put together but it was in a very tight space! Cant fault this bed amazingly sturdy even went afar as ordering extra bits for it...now my son not only keeps his room spotless but spends most of his time in his room as it is now a great use able space! Thumbs up!

Delivery was quick and everything arrived in order. It took more than a couple of hours to assemble, it gives a bit of a headache but in the end its worth it. I bought a bunk bed for my daughters and they are happy with the new bed. The bed is taller than the one we had before and is quite sturdy. I recommend the product.

What a great company. We ordered three beds, one single amelia, one platform memphis and one 26 daybed. All three exactly as described. Arrived on time and in good shape. Beds only up for a week but so far all appear solid and sturdy as described.Any bed with multiple side rails, such as the platform is difficult to assemble. No exception here, it took three of us to line up all the sets of dowels for fitting. The rest was pretty straightforward with basic skills. The provided Allen keys were too soft though and didnt last so I used my own. That could be improved.What makes this company exceptional is the attention to detail in the instructions, and the tone. No nonsense, common sense and respectful, along with quality products.Thanks to all at the company.

Totally impressed with this company from start to end. When placing order I could actually delay delivery to when suited me. Communication from strictly beds was top class (emails were fab.. not like they were written by a robot) and tufnells who delivered it was first class. One bit of the bed had a crack in the wood (which happens so no biggie) the process of requesting a new part was fantastic, just fill in online form to say which part was needed and why no questions asked and was dispatched the very next day.100% would use again

I purchased the everest 3ft extra high bunk bed. Solid, sturdy bunkbed. Instructions wasnt to hard I managed to build it on my own. Lots of extra head room on the bottom bunk for my very tall 12 year old. She can now sit up straight when on her bed. Iv painted it white. Really pleased.

The bed quality was OK for the price, would have preferred stronger sidewalls rather than have to use extra set of legs.The company was very accommodating with extras. I wanted narrower gaps between slats and they helped me with that, provided an extra slat free of charge.

We ordered a shorter length single bed for my son. He has a small room and it fit perfectly. It arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. The underbed drawers we added to our order are a great size and easy to pull out. We were thinking of staining it but the colour and finish of the wood is lovely so have left it as is. Would definitely recommend.

After failing to include the right components (bed slats) for our bunk bed order (£400+) which meant the beds could not be used for nephew and niece coming to stay for a week, the customer service and delivery thereafter has been appalling. Its about a month later and the missing components still havent turned up. Delivery dates have been promised and missed, the wrong components sent again. Complete nightmare experience taking up huge amounts of our time. We will have to get the handyman back which will be extra expense and all attempts to discuss compensation have been ignored. One error can be forgiven, maybe 2 but this has been failing after failing which means this company simply doesnt care...Id avoid if you want a stress free purchase.

Very happy overall, bed was delivered quickly and on time. it all came in 4 parcels that I could move myself. The instructions were as clear as they can be and there are helpful tips to make it easier when assembling.This bed was bought for my 13yr old son, who is very happy with his choose. Good design...very stable and sturdy.Wood well sanded and Scandinavian in origin.British design and manufacture.Compact design for bunk beds suitable for adults and children.2 suggestions to company...ensure instruction booklet is not duplicated and assembly steps in sequence ..and improve hole drilling..could be better and wood dust cleared.Suggestion to buyer...read instructions carefully..it all fits together to make a robust practical bunk bed...and leave several hours to complete assembly.Would purchase again!

Pretty much exactly as advertised. Very fast delivery, and good sturdy quality. Almost everything went together without problems, though one or two black screws missing. Brackets for wall fixing should be longer - skirting boards meant they were too short. Happy with purchase and would do it again.

I was so impressed with the speed (the bed arrived days earlier than expected) the instructions (the assembly instructions were so clear and the pictures of the parts etc were so helpful) and the quality of the product. itself. I was able to put it together in a very short time and although an inexpensive item nevertheless the service and quality were excellent and I would recommend anyone to purchase from your company.

Good quality, solid construction. Simple enough to put together with just enough residual sawdust to make you feel like a carpenter. Delivery faster than expected, even though it had to catch the ferry to the Isle of Wight.

Good sturdy solid wood bunk bed. One part arrived warped, which cant be helped as Timber is a natural product. However, I easily ordered a replacement via the missing parts section of website and it arrived next day. Very happy and glad I brought from a uk company :)

Rubbish quality! I put one of their heavy duty frames together for a friend and realised whilst constructing it just how flimsy it was! If these are made in Britain as they advertise then whoever designed and whoever make them should be ashamed. It was broken in under two weeks, the person I built it for ended up buying a replacement bed base from IKEA for the same value and the quality is worlds apart.

I ordered the Plato small length bunk bed. Delivery arrived in the time stated by a friendly driver. Make sure you read the instructions fully before assembling the bed, then you are off! The pieces are easy to identify. This bed was easily constructed in a very small space by one person. The bed is solid, sturdy and safe (like the man who constructed it) and it is perfect for my 7 and 4 year old. As a bonus, there are plenty of spare fixings and the spare slats were used to construct some shelving in the wardrobe. Overall, great service, fantastic bed and highly recommended company!

We bought the Fusion 3ft Single Solid Pine Bunk Bed (FUS30). Delivery was very quick, it can fit 3 matresses (as long as you dont mind the bottom matress being directly on the floor) and the finished product is very solid (me, 65kg male has been on the bunks and they feel strudy). The pack of spares provided is very generous (you pretty much get double of everything, so allows you to misplace some or the kids wander off with one or two). The only thing that could be improved is the instructions, as these could be a bit clearer (step by step section) and to include tips as to how to assumble the main frame (before it is screwed together the panels have a tendency to popping out when aligning the next one). We did this with 2 people but 3 people would have made it easier. Overall very pleased and the price of the bunk bed was very reasonable.

I bought a 4 poster bed which is not the greatest, unfortunately! The instructions were not clear and didnt make sense with the materials that we had. As my fiancée and I were building the bed we realised that we did not have all the right parts, there werent enough screws, nut, bolts or dowels. I then had to go and order more and that was a nightmare as there website would not let me and my fiancée and I had to wait.The bed does look lovely now and we are pleased. I, however, wouldnt recommend buying your bed from here.

Ordered the Triad Triple Bunk after searching internet for a solution of getting 3 kids in one room. Found this on amazon but when i went to company website price was ALOT cheaper. Ordered on June 4th and i was relaxed that it would take longer than normal with covid 19. The company doesnt ship to Ireland so there was a small logistical problem. The companys couriers delivered everything on time but on this side Dpd lost 1 box. I contacted Lorraine and ordered another box which was extremly easy she was amazing. I am so grateful 🙏 thank you so much. Very good product very strong happy house all round would strongly recommend. Thanks again Lorraine.

I bought 2 of the Avon single beds with under bed drawers. The instructions for the beds themselves were very very hard to follow. I couldnt do them and when I got an experienced handyman, he struggled. However, the beds were Ok once finally done and reasonably strong. Then the drawers. Instructions appalling and there was no way of assembling these without the bottoms falling out. When I contacted the company they told me it was my issue- bad assembling and no one else had complained. I sent photos which made it 100% clear that the part was faulty. I persisted and eventually was told as a special favour I could drive the drawers (hour round trip not including putting it all in the car) and they would assemble them. Once they got them they admitted it was a manufacturing fault (grooves made too deep). No apology, no offer to refund the £30 I had paid the handyman to attempt to assemble the unassemblable (I had told them I had paid this) or the total of 2 hours petrol money not to mention the time taken. Honestly, the company could seem to care less that they had sent out faulty parts, not been very courteous in their response or that ALL the running around trying to fix it was done by me even though none of it was my fault. Given that they said that the other stock had the same problem, goodness knows how many other poor people have experienced this and been gaslighted by the company into thinking its their fault. After a HUGE amount of hassle the final product seems OK but I would never have bought from this company if I knew the grief and hassle that would occur. Maybe I was unlucky but if this was a rare occurrence and the company had real pride in their product, they would have been so apologetic and made every effort to make amends.

I purchased a Memphis high loft bunk bed and a single bed from beds and bunks. We painted them dark grey and arranged them like an L shaped bunk. They look fabulous and are very sturdy, and with a very reasonable price tag.

I am in my 70s and I have just asembled a heavy duty set of bunkbeds by my self. I found the instructions clear and each piece was nicely finished and of good quality. My grandchildren have tested them out and seemed very happy sleeping on them.

This is an awful company they said they would pick my bunk bed after they delivered them and left them in the rain I asked to return them I waited in all day for the courier and no one turned up to collect them. Im now going to have to file a claim in the courts to try and get my money back I wont be ever using this company again.

I was planning on having on people stay for Christmas and need a bunk bed for adults. The bunk bed arrived really quickly. Some of the dowels were missing but one email and they were sent straight away. They took some assembly you need two people but now they are up I am really happy with them.

All of these fitted into our car and we drove through the Eurotunnel.Assembly was good (a bit over 2 hours for each triple bunk (2 different models) we were 2 women) , although there could be extra black screws as we screwed them into the wrong place and the extra side feet dont hold that well with the smaller screws...The instructions and colour coded parts are very easy to follow, we had no trouble !Thank you very much. I hope our clients will be satisfied on their vacations in France !

Great bed company with a large range of products. It was particularily good for us as we were looking for a narrow single bed with no head board and storage drawers. This is not an easy combination to find!Excellent customer service. They were quick to reply to my email when I wanted further infomation about the under bed drawers on a product I was considering. They were also very fast to send a replacement bolt when one was missing. The bed quality is good and its very sturdy.Highly recommended

Theeeeeeeee worst company I have had the unfortunate experience of dealing with.... shocking quality of bed, didnt last 2 months (and that was with minimal use) and their customer service is all hidden behind email...Shame as was expecting big things, but can see now from the reviews online how badddddddd they really.This is firewood dressed up as bedframes.Perhaps OK for kids? but adults weighing more than a loaf of bread shouldnt use them...Avoid at all costs.

This was the second time I have used Strictly Beds and Bunks. I purchased a double bed around 6 years ago which is still going strong, and has survived 2 house moves.This time I needed a small set of bunks, and this was the only company I could find who offered bunks that were both short length AND narrow. I was more than happy with the communication from the company and the delivery. The new bunks are perfect for my childrens bedroom and were very reasonably priced. I have recommended Strictly Beds and Bunks to family members who have also now made purchases.

Bought a single pine bed with two drawers. Delivery arrived on time (with two messages in advance advising me of ETA), instructions were very clear (it took me less than an hour to assemble) and the bed is strong and stable!

Horrible customer service. We ordered a bunk bed, when some of the integral parts turned out to be wrong in size we were advised to read more carefully the instructions which led to us slightly braking one of the panels. When I again explained that there is a problem with the size and when I told them that they should provide a better customer service and apologise for this really, they answered to say that we should have apologised to them. I dont know what to say. Honestly. Terrible customer service.

THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!Avoid like the plague!!!!!!! ordered a bunk bed and its meant to come in 3 boxes but only 2 were delivered. I was told that the 3rd box would be delivered the next day and surprise surprise it wasnt. Now thats a problem as I cant make the bunk beds without this, but not as big of a problem than the rude customer service I was given by the online chat assistant (Andrea) and then a reply to my complaints email by the manager Andy.Please read the reviews on Google reviews about the rude patronising manner this company uses with customers before you even think about ordering from them, because if you do have an issue with your order and need to contact them you will be met with a bunch of unprofessional clowns 🤡.Its very surprising that any company would treat customers in such a manner, let alone when companies are struggling in such times due to the pandemic.In all please think before you order from here as Im 99.9% sure youll get burnt, its really not worth the risk.

I purchased a low double bunk and am very pleased with the build quality. It went together quite easily, although I think the instructions could be made a bit easier to follow. I didnt like that I had to keep flipping back to the front page to see what fixing or which panel I needed to use, but this is a minor complaint. The only other annoying thing was the swarf left in some of the pre drilled holes. It warns you about this in the instructions, but I kept on forgetting to check before assembling parts and it was a pain to get it out once the panel was in position. Overall Im very happy with the product and delivery was swift. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a good quality bed.

Ordered the Icarus short length loft bed. I live in a 2nd floor flat ( there is a lift ) and only discovered my bed had been delivered and left on the ground floor entrance whilst taking out trash. Anyone could have taken it.Whilst assembling it became apparent an integral piece of the bed was the wrong size and I was short of bolts.After building I ordered a mattress to the same specification as recommended by the company. The mattress is so tight it has to be forced down into the frame and the only way to get a fitted sheet on it is to remove the mattress from the bed, which is a two man job. Not much use to me being a single parent.Contacted the company and they were of no help whatsoever. Certainly will never use them again, but will go out my way to share my poor experience with them.

Ordered over a week ago. Was meant to come Tuesday, never did. Told me it was just an estimate and would 100% definitely come on Thursday... Thursday comes and no word from them so I message them. They read my message and then text me to tell me their van is full so it’ll come on Friday.Ridiculous but at least the bunk beds are coming, right?Nah, wrong. Got another text a few hours later telling me their van has a ‘terminal issue’ and now they’ll come on Saturday. They won’t. They were never gonna turn up.I’ve to wait for Amazon to refund me now cos they’re obviously refusing to.From reading other reviews I can see this happens to a lot of people.To top it all off, rude customer service.My advice?? AVOID!!!

What a shameful company.Delivery is supposed to be ‘any room in the house’. What actually happened is that the delivery agents didn’t knock or ring the bell, and just dumped the boxes in the driveway and legged it.The tracking info showed a picture of a random house and was marked with the phrase ‘delivered’.Called the number but they don’t talk on the phone, instead they direct the caller to get in touch via their website - and the Live Chat is closed due to COVID. Yes, they couldn’t possibly have someone using a computer to answer queries now could they?!They pride themselves on being an all-British company; my heart sinks when I think about life after Brexit if this is the standard by which companies treat their clients.Abysmal in every way. Avoid like the... er... coronavirus.

I ordered a high bed in October - it eventually arrived having given me someone elses tracking information - GDPR !!- then less than a month in use the bed has broken. I ordered free replacements which I though was great but am now wondering why? They were due to arrive on friday - they have not. Numerous emails later I am still waiting for a response as to where the replacement parts are and no one is getting back to me. My son is now sleeping in the floor. Appalling customer service

Am assuming some of the poor reviews may have purchased through Amazon, who I have had a great many problems with, in the past. I bought direct from the company. The ordering was very easy. I bought the 26 standard length Oscar mid sleeper and was thrilled. I expected a delay, with Covid, but was very happy to receive the bed on the Wednesday, after ordering over the weekend. Although it took me a little while, I managed to construct it by myself, while homeschooling 2 children, so happy there. The dropped star is simply due to there being no instructions or parts list, however, I emailed about this and was sent a link and a pdf file within the hour, so I was happy with that. Very sturdy bed and thrilled with it. Especially as I couldnt find another bed that had the right height underneath. Most are either cabin beds or high sleepers that wouldnt fit in our limited space. This bed has effectively doubled the floor space in a tiny room. Prompt and helpful. They did mention that, due to covid, some of their deliveries were using agency drivers, which may explain some other peoples delivery issues. Would definitely buy from them again.

This is my second bed purchased as I was so impressed with the first one. The first one was so well made it was a no brainer when I needed another.Unfortunately, the design of the side rail has changed so rather than a single rail they have changed by effectively chopping it in half and using a central leg to take the weight. The issue is the side rail leg is described as optional stating the bed can be used with or without this leg. It is now impossible to use the bed without it.I contacted customer service to point the above issues out and was met by what can only be described as primary school English. I wonder if the owner of this company knows what unprofessional correspondence is coming out of this company. The grammar is awful as is the spelling.I had my original question ignored instead the person on the other end attempting to blag engineering terms in an attempt to convince me that my question was not important.I wanted to use the bed without an extra centre leg. This is possible if the side rail is in one piece, but impossible as it currently stands and broken in two.They have gone from a great product to a terrible product.

I bought a Stockton Bunk bed a couple of weeks ago which is now assembled and I am very pleased with it . It is very strong and robust and the bottom bunk is so low that a child (or anyone else) falling out would simply roll safely onto the floor. A normal bed is much further off the ground !The only warnings I would give from my experience are:- that on arrival some key parts were missing so twice I had to send for the missing parts. They came very quickly at no cost to myself but it did delay the assembly. I advise you to allow for this possibility as if I had wanted the bed to be used within the next 2 or 3 days it would not have been assembled in time.- the assembly , as others have said, does require careful reading and sometimes re-reading of the instruction. I particularly puzzled over the ladder positioning instructions but worked it out eventually. The assembly does take some time. I did it over several days but if I had tried to do it in one 8 hour day Im not sure that I would have managed!Despite the above a good buy and and good value.PS The online chat line worked well !

I ordered a narrow 26 single bed it was delivered within 4 days and I am really pleased with it, it was very good quality for the price, after scanning through the instructions I found it really easy to assembly there was plenty of extra screws and parts, put it together no problems and it seems perfectly sturdy. The centre extra support leg was missing but on informing them it was delivered within 24 hrs. It was just what I was looking for 5*

Website and products I dont have any issues with. However their delivery of my order happened at 06:30 IN THE MORNING! I think this it totally unacceptable and frankly rude and antisocial behaviour from their delivery driver. DO NOT use this company as I have tried to contact them about this issue and get total radio silence from them!

USE ANYONE ELSE - Rude and patronising customer service. Been waiting over 1 month for any delivery. No communication. Sold other Bed because told this would be here on time. They use XDP Courier which are a sexist non-english speaking courier. Zero apologies for any problems theyre causing and acting as though I work for them and that I should be the one emailing THEIR courier. Save yourself a lot of misery.

Brilliant service and great value for money! I had informative communication after the order was placed and the bed was delivered promptly and efficiently within the two hour slot stated. A lifetime warranty- that you have to pay for. So basically, no warranty at all even if thin pieces of wood have knots in and break. Avoid these scandalous people and the very misleading wording of their unprofessional website.

I ordered a bed / mattress 3 years ago. In the paperwork you get a 15% future discount to use as often as you like and I quote This IS NOT a time limited offer. Guess what - discount has expired and customer services couldnt give two hoots. I wont ever be buying from this company again. Funny thing is I only wanted a replacement short mattress for the rubbish one they originally sold me, I went elsewhere (mattressnextday) and got what looks like a better mattress cheaper than it would have been even with the discount. Your loss strictly.

Reposting this as it turns out Strictly Beds & Bunks have two Google Listings (very bad SEO practice! Cant say Im surprised...)Disgusting level of build quality and customer service. Bed broken no less than 3 times in 9 months with normal use, and now they are (quite rudely) insinuating that its our fault, despite the bed being used with the manufacturers guidelines and built according to the manufacturers instructions, and are now refusing to honour their much acclaimed warranty. The only thing these beds are good for is scrap wood. You definitely get what you pay for.

Was easy to order replacement parts using their online portal too. One star given for this even though initially the wrong pieces were sent and then the wrong replacement part sent as mistakes do happenASSEMBLYThey expect you to work out where some fixtures and pieces go rather than mark the area. The lack of pilot holes meant the wood split, pilot holes would prevented this. After the performance trying to get the correct pieces in the first place not sure I dare risk trying to get these parts replaced. Despite not using pilot holes in areas needed they need for areas not needed so you are left with holes in the bed.CUSTOMER SERVICETried to speak to them on the phone to rectify their error but they refused to speak to me except via email when they made a second error on the parts sent they still refused to speak to me after several request and no one picks up the phone on the number given. In order to rectify their mistake they made me constantly send in proof and even insinuated I was the idiot but suggesting I had the the piece the wrong way round. I eventually made a video to prove otherwise. Despite two errors and bad customer service nothing was offered to compensate itDELIVERYDelivery was an ok amount of time. Replacement parts were next day delivery. The delivery guy was polite. They delivered the parts for the same bed but that was for a different customer. If the right parts were in the box I could of used them but I shouldn’t of been given itPRODUCT QUALITYEven though the wood split during assembly this was probably due to the lack of pilot holes so one star is still given as overall the bed is sturdy enough

The worst customer service I have ever received, delivered only 2 thirds of the bed. When contacted via email as there is no way to speak to someone over the phone. I was left with no help in receiving the missing part of the delivery. Got passed from their delivery company back to them with neither side able to take responsibility. Worst and most stressful purchase Ive ever made.

Very poor instructions. You can tell they dont care how you put the bed together. Its not straight forward. You could take an entire day to get their beds assembled.

Falsely advertised on ebay that they have a Fast and free delivery service ordered on the 11th with an estimated delivery 13th to 14th emailed the day after Id paid to say that i wont be recieving them until 19th. messaged to try resolve and nothing absolutly ridiculous company!!! Quick enough to reply back to a bad review but not quick enough to solve issues regarding falsely advertising a Fast free delivery service which still states I will recieve my order by the 14th was quick enough to take my money though.what disgraceful customer service too in the end they cancelled my order and refused to deliver item AVOID they cancelled the order 2 days after it was due to arrive

If you are an unemployed carpenter this place is for you!!!! Bed delivered 4 days late despite emails with time slots everyday previous , instructions so complicated ( so many inserts it’s untrue ) help desk is terrible if you call them they tell you they only deal with email queries , they have a live chat function which also informs you just to email them , you email them and they don’t answer

Strictly Beds & Bunks were the only manufacturer I could find with a midsleeper that would hold a single mattress, and the price was comparable to most other midsleeper beds, so I decided to purchase. They confirmed delivery, and provided informative estimates as the time got closer. The boxes were tidy, and contained all of the required parts. Whilst Im not a DIY type, I found the assembly of the bed straightforward. The wood seems of good quality so I feel quite comfortable with my 6 year old sleeping on it (she loves it too). Overall very satisfied.

Bed ordered and chose to have express delivery. The differences between express delivery and standard delivery are not clear on the checkout page. The express delivery does not call 30 mins in advance - does not give you an allocated time. This is in the small print so be carful with when selecting as they do not make obvious. They also delivered to my billing address over my delivery address which they said was never put in with the order - this may have been the case but doubtful. I had email correspondence which was blunt and unhelpful - not their problem attitude. Maybe this was a one off. Also the picture of the mattress was the not the same as it came - it was a white cover and a blue checked one.

The owners responses to these priceless reviews are appalling!!!!Hi,I was thinking very hard of purchasing a bed from this company via Amazon, however and a big however after reading the reviews, but more importantly the owners replies to the customers reviews, I have decided to go elsewhere.It would seem quite apparent that the owner does not appreciate feedback albeit negative at times. This is completely expected, and a great a lesson for companies to know how their customers are really feeling. Instead each response is very defensive, has no professionalism and re-directs the blame back onto the customer. Clearly does not understand the moto The customer is always right.Such a shame, as companies spend thousands to gain this kind of feedback and insight, instead of wasting it and turning each complaint even more sour.Shame on you Strictly Beds and Bunks Ltd.!!!I think youve just lost a very big sale.Btw, I bet you I get a response to this review along the lines of We dont need customers like you!!
