I ordered a dresser and side table January of 2021 and received it in early April - it is timeless but still modern. I have enjoyed the quality so far and look forward to bringing them through the next part of my life. Jenine Houdek helped me out and she was great! She gave you space to browse but would be quickly available if you had any questions. Very easy going, but knew her stuff. I would definitely recommend to a friend! The delivery staff were fast, efficient, and friendly as well. My experience was definitely top notch… I even got a hand written thank you card! The details count.

6 years after buying a chair from penny mustard I found out that the life time warranty I supposed to have had expired after a few years from purchase date. Then I fine out that the new recliner mechanism I paid to have replaced had no warranty. I dont think I will purchase from Penny mustard again. If I am going to have cheap furniture then I will pay the cheaper price.

Nice, well made furniture, but higher priced. Helpful but not hovering staff. Could not accommodate our need for matching reclining sofa and non-reclining sofa plus chair. 😞

Good selection kinda pricey but we did find a chair we liked.

And their tactics are so annoying I wouldn’t want to buy from them anyway.

What a pleasant experience we had at this store. We met the general manager, Jenine Houdek, and she was extremely helpful. We told her what we were looking for and she was able to offer us several suggestions. We would have wondered around the store, as they have so many options, without her help. One of them was JUST RIGHT! My husband is 511 and wanted a recliner that his feet didnt hang over the end of the foot rest, and one that fully reclined, Bingo, found it, picked out the material (and that was harder than finding the chair, so many to choose from) and the chair is on order. Once we receive it I am sure it will fit our needs. We highly recommend Penny Mustard as their construction looks far better than other recliners we found and am grateful to Jenine for her patience and expertise!

Ive been looking for a sectional with a chaise for my new home for weeks and havent had any luck finding the right fit, new or used. Very lovely furniture. Im just not at a point in my life where I can afford it. If you can, def. Check it out. Super well made stuff. Sadly, I cant afford a 2k dresser, or 6k couch. Pretty stuff, though.

Omg! We have gotten several pieces of furniture here in the past..Ann Shraufranagle( sorry for misspelled) was an amazing salesperson: patient helpful and on the spot. We were going to have a sofa sent to east troy wi and changed our minds to have shipped to Florida. No problem. They made it happen. Jake and Jake who delivered to house in Florida kept me abreast on timing etc. Not to mention they delivered it beautifully. Wore penny loafers were totally awesome. We then ordered matching ottomans with Anns help, looking forward to getting those! Cannot say enough about our experience.with Penny Mustard. Every time!! Best quality. Made in the USA

Love this store! Furniture is high quality and made to last. So much better than the cheap Wayfair stuff everyone seems to be buying nowadays. Great staff. Their furniture is superb quality, you can customize so you purchase exactly what you want. Customer service is top notch. Seldom do you find any customer service anymore so this was very refreshing. Dosei is knowledgeable and has a knack for color selection. She was so patient when I was looking at color swatches, I didn’t feel rushed at all. My sofa and pillows arrived and are beautiful with the chairs I purchased a few years ago. This is a one stop shop, highly recommend!

Our experience at Penny Mustard was the best experience we have ever had furniture shopping, which is saying a lot for a couple of seniors. Walking in the store, a sales person behind a counter simply inquired if we were shopping for something for a specific room or generally just looking. It felt good to not immediately be pounced on. Browsing the showroom was very comfortable. When we wanted help, our sales consultant, Kyle Early, listened well as we described the type of recliner we wanted. He readily told us that they might did not have exactly what we wanted, but he thought the store catalog might have something close to what we described. My husband and I wandered while Kyle search the catalog and talked to other associates. He indeed found one that was almost our described chair. He also had us try out a few chairs to get a feel for the quality of the light touch needed for the recliners we would be ordering. Early readily gave us details. Quotes were freely given, including the $50 delivery charge. On our way home I told my normally reluctant husband that I would readily shop there again. He said, “Well, Absolutely!”

Penny Mustard offers well built furniture at a good price. The staff is very helpful. They offer more fabric samples than a lot of other furniture stores I visited. I was allowed to take a number of samples home to find out which one would match the best with my color scheme. The store had many living room and bedroom furniture pieces on the floor so you could get a very good idea of the detail and design.

After raising 5 children, earlier this year I contracted to have a 3 bedroom Townhouse built in NW Indiana and I expect to move in after the new year. This is the first time I’ve done this and I’m very particular about everything, inside and out. As part of my move I decided to buy all new furniture for the entire home and that brought me to the Penny Mustard location in Merrillville, Indiana. Going into the store and connecting with Jenine was initially, and continues to be, one of the smartest decisions I’ve made in a long time! Jenine and I went from room to room discussing options and over the course of several months developed a spectacular plan. I couldn’t be happier with everything we’ve selected. Each item stands on its own, but taken all together I’ve got a very beautiful, comprehensive and cohesive collection. Rob was great! He was very accommodating and helped my wife and I find what we were looking for. Originally we went to the Greenfield store to see a floor model couch that a salesperson at the Brookfield store said was available there, but we ended up finding a couple of great chairs in their Clearance center. We then decided to have a Smith Brothers couch built to match one of those chairs in terms of leather. The clearance prices for those pieces were very good! Highly recommend Penny Mustard, for both the quality of the pieces they have and the helpful sales staff.

A good, no pressure visit. We went on a Friday night to look at actual pieces, then went back to place the order on Saturday. We ended up ordering a different size couch, it was so worth it, taking time to look at actual pieces than just the website.

We were looking for a chest to place by our front door. We were not happy with the lack of quality at other stores. The chests at P Mustard had a high degree of craftsmanship. It really stood out. Maple chest. Outstanding and Made in the USA

I hear their commericals on the radio everytime Im in the car. My husband and i love store, great quality furniture. We bought our 4 childrens dressers from there. We wouldnt go anywhere else to buy furniture. Not to mention that everyone is so nice, and helpful on everything. :).They may be pricey but its the quality that lasts a LIFETIME. Other places are cheap and bust over time, and cheaply made but not at Pennys mustard.

Fell in love with a peice. It was amazing. Was told they do NOT make California King. TALL PEOPLE NEED BEDS TOO !!!! If I were normal size I guess it would be 5 stars. Very sad I can not get myself an heirloom quality piece of furniture because of my height.

They have some very cool furniture here. Not only is everything high quality, but the selection is fairly large as well. The store itself isnt huge, but they stage everything very nicely. We ended up going to Colders before stopping here, but the quality is night and day. We found the bedframe we were looking for. Real wood...cant go wrong. Highly recommended!
