They have items that my local Giant doesnt have. Very quiet (at the time I go, at least). I like shopping there.

Love this Giant. Its always clean and well stocked. The produce is always fresh. The meat department offers many options, some I wouldnt touch but thats what I mean, many options! There bakery is top notch for a grocery store. From the breads to the muffins and cakes, everything I have purchased has always been very fresh and very good. The staff here is very helpful and friendly. I always find good parking, they offer to help me out with my groceries and they are in a great location!

As an employee for another Giant. I Showed up to purchase food here. Requested some help at the produce section(but I was informed that they didn’t have anyone to help me since the person didn’t show up to their shift(unprofessional? Yes, as a customer I don’t need to be aware of the issues rather than to look for help to assist me)) after seeking for help at solution center, the front end manager informed me that she couldn’t help me in that department since that is a department she doesn’t feel comfortable (I thought your staff was crossed trained?)At the end, I had to turned around and walked to another store(it’s sad that they rather let business walk away than improved on their customer service) Giant needs to provide customer service to their employee to improve on it. Thank you.

They don’t have as much stuff as the other giants. Small variety of things. I love giant but they need to do better with the fruits and vegetables which is very important. They sell fruits that’s already going bad or goes bad after a day. I’ve spent so much money on fruits and vegetables I didn’t even get to use, it’s sad. No one is going to come all the way up there to return items after leaving there and they know that. I never change grocery stores but I’m going to have to now cuz it’s been way too many times I’ve been disappointed. The people are nice and chill. And it’s in a good location.

Just moved here and am disappointed that Giant is about the only game around. Staff and store condition are excellent. However, thats about as far as it goes. Their selection is extremely limited and until now never really watched best by dates. You better there. I bought block cheese that was expired Nov. Bagged salad forget about it. Usually all on sale as it is brown or a day away from expiration. I used to like Bob Evans microwave meals for a quickie between shifts. Not here, went through 9 pkgs and 4 were expired and the rest were within 5 days. Ill be glad when i my job here is up.

Very clean many products good prices. I do not give 5 stars for some ATMs they are not very friendly they serve you with a face and a few friends humor they are not all but there are 2 that have attended me and they have not been pleasant but there are also very nice ATMs

30 Years ago this was a 24/7 flagship Giant Food store Now its just ANOTHER convenient stop for groceries. Decent produce, decent meat, GREAT PHARMACY AND STAFF. Prices are competitive and the rest rooms are clean. This Giant Food is listed as a Superstore. It is huge, with a lot of choices. Great Sale prices, but rather limited stock on some Sale Items.

Employees were walking around with no mask on, not even on their chin. And they are letting people shop without a mask. Despite the vaccine we are required to wear a mask in a public area.

Two separate incidents in this store with 2 separate employees at the front end. They’re so rude, even with fellow colleagues. I work at another giant location and I’m disgusted with how I’ve been treated here. Anthony is rude and not sure who he thinks he is by talking to customers in a such a derogatory manner.Also the store has basically nothing. It’s a dark small store with extremely limited inventory in every aisle, excluding produce.

The guy with paper and pad was so rude while asking about one product. Instead he started asking questions like do you know what that product is? If yes then look down. I was not there for freaking treasure hunt. Just tell me the exact location. I am sure he was the manager or something.

Went there around 4:30pm the parking lot was packed, I went in not to many people in there but very slow to check out. But they are wiping down after customers thats a plus,

Great grocery store.. the items are of excellent quality. Loyalty card gets you great discounts. The bakery section and meat section are my favorites.

My fiance went into the store with my mother in law. She then went to the pharmacy and asked for medication over the counter. We have purchased it in the past at another Giant closer to home with no issue. This lady said we needed a prescription and would not sell us the medication. We asked why and began yelling and arguing with us. She then had them leave the store. Horrible horrible service I hope no one else is or has been treated this way never going back there again

Good parking, available employees at deli, fast and available cashiers, clean bathrooms, good selection of food organized in a logical way, taste test food on weekends.The prices are a bit high without the card, but you can sign up at customer service.This location is an up and coming strip mall, with a game cafe and hot pot coming.

I went to the customer service desk to purchase two money orders. The cashier, Carmie asked me to provide her identification. I don’t see a sign posted that is is required. PLEASE PUT A SIGN UP THAT STATES SHOWING IDENTIFICATION is REQUIRED! I will not come here anymore. Extremely unprofessional and the service is poor.

A perfect place for food shopping

My stay has been great. Ive been here 2.5 months. All the staff have been friendly and go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The rooms are a great size, breakfast and afternoon socials are a big plus. Its close to a lot of nice restaurants, shopping, and fun. Id definitely stay again in the future if Im back in this area. ☺️

This Giant is in a sketchy part of town but no need to worry about your safety. The deli is small with little to choose from. The rest of the store is your typical Giant but not one of the renovated ones. The cashiers are nice, the meat department was adequate, seafood department lacking, produce adequate and salad bar small. It wasnt my first pick but it was on my way. Im not even sure if they had a floral department. If they did it was really small.

The store is clean and well maintained but it is smaller than many of the Giants in the area. This limits the selection of items available.

I love the employees at this location. However I dont like that I cant get fresh fruit here on a consistent basis. Sometimes it seems as bad fruit and veggies sit for a day or so before being replaced with new ones. I wish this was managed better. Outside of this I love it!

The parking lot here is a bit tight, need to be particularly careful. No negative experience at this location though.

Great customer service but every time I let someone there bag my food items they bag them in ways that dont make sense. Being in a job field not far from a health inspector, when is it a good idea to put packaged chicken in a bag sideways shoved in with berries which then get covered in chicken juice? Or possibly grapes on top of a loaf of bread? Never a good idea because now certain food items are contaminated whether you wash them or not. Again good customer service I just highly suggest you bag your own items.

A nice, well laid out, grocery store. The prices are pretty good, and the selection is nice. Any Giant Ive been to has always been organized and Ive rarely noticed items being out of stock. The fruit and vegetable selection is very fresh looking, and they have a good variety of tofu as well.

This is one of the smaller Giants in Gaithersburg and seems a little run down. But the service is reasonable and it is easily accessible.

Great customer service. Have a decent gluten free selection (mostly scattered through the store, but with a small section for organize and gluten free). Fresh meats from the deli with fast service.

Black teenager here, went there to my family and right when we are about to leave they as me if I stole anything and made me pull my shirt up. Then the guy kept trying to act nice with my dad and kept touching him, we had a cart filled with groceries too. Sad how they cave in to stereotypes.

Giant Food is a local grocery chain located in Gaithersburg MD. This location serves Montgomery Village. It has an extensive amount of produce, meat/ fish, dairy and household items. Staff is helpful and friendly.

The cashier did not have enough change to give me my cash back and asked the manager, Mark Mormon, who was rude to her and acted put out. He went to the office and was gone 10 minutes then opened the door and continued a conversation with a colleague for another 5 minutes. When he finally came back the cashier had to remind him that I was waiting for my change. His demeanor was utterly apathetic and complacent. Mark mocked me when I expressed my displeasure.Mark was shockingly rude. He simply did not care about doing his job. About customer service. The cashier was lovely.

Dont go to this Giant. The representatives are all dumb the managers are lazy and unintelligent and they will hassle you for the dumbest of reasons. Used to be one of my favorite go to spots but please do yourself a favor and spend you money elsewhere rather than waste it here.

Store is older and needs updating bad. Most of the staff are very friendly. Other stores in this center are ok but I noticed that they tow very quickly. I was sitting in my car and watched two cars towed within minutes of each other.
