They use to be great service. Didn’t do a full check like every other time. I needed a new air filter but some how was over looked.Once they found out I had issues with the other store father owns. Service changed not the honest dealership it was before.

Had oil change and inspection and was happy with that. However, 2 days later my Check Engine light comes on and was on for 3 days. Took it back to Ford and they wanted to charge me $125 to diagnose it!!! I said forget it and left. Thats something I can get for free at AutoZone or Advance Auto.

Our experience with Purchasing my vehicle at Front Royal Ford the other evening, I have to say: was one of the best car buying experience’s I have ever had. Tyler Deavers was our salesman and he is for sure about his clients/customers. He truly made it great for my whole family. So if you see something you like on their lot, or want, I highly recommend him as your salesman. Also Roland Carter, in finance, he too is about his clients/customers and making sure closing the deal is a breeze. While he is very professional and welcoming. He makes sure you understand all paperwork, before signing. I want to share how great these guys were! I’m a first time car buyer and they made the process EXTREMELY easy! Everyone was professional and you could simply tell it was a great environment, work wise for them and it makes their guests feel more comfortable when there is no tension among employees.Zach was my salesman and he answered all of my questions. My wife and I looked at a truck on Wednesday then took a day to think about it. Applied for 0% financing on ford.com, got approved and went to buy the truck on Friday. Somehow, both my wife and I misread the sticker price. We both saw one price, but when we returned the sticker was $9k more. We could have both been mistaken...either way, not buying.

Brought my vehicle in to figure out why it was struggling to start. Also, had them perform a multi point inspection and oil change. Got a call, that my rear reverse light was bad. Was informed that it was the socket, not the bulb. Told them since they had it there to change it, and I already had a spare socket in my truck. The shop was unable to get the truck to have a hard time start. I drove it to work the night after I picked it up. Let it sit, and when I went to go home. The truck struggled to start, so I recorded the incident this time. Cause it happens like clockwork. I noticed when I was backing up, that I could not see behind me. I got out to look at my rear backup light. It appeared like it was out. Next morning I went out to take light out, and found it was the original socket from day I bought truck. Looked in my truck and the new one was still there. Work was never done, that I paid for. Called dealer to ask for refund for work not done. Explained to them, that truck still has starting issue and light socket was not replaced. Service advisor, said to bring my truck back in and they would change it or credit my Ford account. I told them, I will change my own socket. That it is an integrity issue, and I cant trust them. I just wanted my money back. Service advisor, transferred me to service manager. Who apologized and explained thats not the type of dealership they are. I told him that I just want my money and I will not be back. I purchase a lot of fords and service it through ford. This dealership has lost my loyalty. Manager refunded me my money, and apologized again. Sounds bad, but check your work if able.

I dont understand. I went in for a service. They kept my car over the weekend. They said they had no loaner vehicle. I was told that there was a leak with the AC. I was told that they would have to order the part.I had to drive in a heatwave in a BRAND NEW SUV with no AC.2 weeks later I was told on Thursday that they had the part. (An injector for the AC to see where the leak was coming from). Went in Friday in the AM and they had a loaner *(It was an old loud Focus that was dirty and shaky but I made do).Saturday when I called they said they never had the part and that it was lost somewhere between Front Royal and Detroit. Seriously? I was so angry. Then they proceeded to tell me that due to COVID they had shipping issues. BUT WHY THEN Would you have called and told me that you had the part.Another 2 weeks have gone by. Now we are in the deepest throws of summer. They have placed Freon in my car and it has been semi cool. But that seems to be a band-aid.I AM STILL WAITING. I AM PAYING MONTHLY FOR A 58K VEHICLE THAT DOESNT WORK AS IT SHOULD.At this time I feel like if you cant fix my SUV I should have a replacement. One that works. I paid for a NEW SUV. I PAID for the packages. I have not received anything as of yet. No call. No estimated time of repair. No service adjustment. Nothing.I AM FUMING. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!!

Had the truck I needed, had to buy it or wait 30 weeks for an order.I have bought many new fleet vehicles and I have NEVER paid a processing fee more than $350. This dealer charged me a $799 “proc/doc fee” AND a $365 “government fee”. I’m still waiting to hear back from the state of VA on what this fee is that the sales person is telling me that the state REQUIRES them to charge. No, it’s not sales tax. That’s another line item.As a commercial fleet customer, I am eligible for another upfit rebate which the sales person says “Isnt available right now” and refused to look into further. Fortunately my local dealer is kind enough to process that upfit rebate for me.

The car I was interested in just arrived at the lot and only stock photos were uploaded so AJ promptly sent me pictures of the vehicle and additional information. I made an appointment and headed into the dealership. I was promptly greated and the vehicle was newly cleaned and waiting for me to test drive. 3/26, mileage 34,276 I had my 2019 Ford Escape in for auto stop not working . The reset the BSM they test drove said it wasn’t meeting all parameters when it meets all parameters the auto/stop would work !4/16/21 I took it back because it would work and then it wouldn’t work I was there for 3 hours the service adviser and mechanic stated that the needed for a all day to see what was going on ! So I took it back on 36,100 4/22/21 dropped it off at 6am! They called in the late afternoon and said that they did a battery check and the battery was dead to get a new battery installed was $375 and that it was not covered under by warranty and I was only 100 miles over on top of that they charged me $62.48 for a diagnosis test for the auto / stop not working ! I took my car and left !4/23/21 I took my 2019 escape to another Ford dealership that check out my vehicle and stated that it was the battery and the replaced it under my warranty even though I was 100 over it !!!! I would really like for Front Royal Ford to refund my $62.48 to me because it only right !!! I am NEVER TAKING MY VEHICLE BACK TO y’all AGAIN !

My experience with the sales person which was Jeff was really good. I bought a gt350 from him which I saw the car online . Car was delivered by one of the drivers of the dealership which he drove 2 half hours and also took my trade. Only concern I had which the car was delivered too me was . One of the rims were stretch and also front bumper was painted but it was painted badly. I ask the Gm which was Wednesday please have pictures taken before this car gets delivery too me. Jeff was off that day that is why it was ask gm to handle it. I will give jeff 5 stars for his hard work but for a car that clearly so nice on line I did not turn out that way. I advised any one please go visit this dealership and view the car first before purchasing a car from this dealership. If you do buy a car please see jeff nice guy 5 stars for him. But 2 stars on this dealership.

Bought a used BMW Z4 - I had an eye injury couldnt drive it so they delivered. Sales guys were great to work with. However, when I finally was able to drive it the brakes were completely shot!!! $1000 repair with my trusted mechanic. Front Royal Ford They stated that it had passed inspection (IT WAS AN INTERNAL INSPECTION). When I called to complain and ask what could be done they TOTALLY BLEW ME OFF. Love the car highly disappointed in the customer service.

Facts: Was informed vehicle required new wipers to pass state inspection. However, I checked wipers before driving the 45 minutes to the dealer through numerous rain showers. The wipers performed perfectly, no sign of tears and clean windshield wipes (no streaks). I asked to have the old wipers returned so I could see their condition. My wipers (top grade Rain-X wipers) were returned with the top 2 of both blades torn and flapping loose.Opinion: In over 50 years of operating vehicles in Virginia, I have never had two wipers on the same vehicle fail instantly (i.e., between parking lot and inspection bay) in the exact same way. Also, it is highly unlikely that any driver would miss two torn at the top wipers flapping during rain showers on the way to the dealer. There was also evidence that the blades were together (not torn) by the uniform pollen marks on the blades. Im at a loss to explain why the dealer would allow such conduct, except most customers would pay the $45 without asking for the parts back. So you be the judge.

I have been to a lot of car dealerships in my life. I am the sort of fellow who test drives every vehicle in a class before making a purchase. I have also been burned once or twice in the past and began purchasing cars for friends so as to help them avoid the pitfalls of unscrupulous managers and aggressive sales people.Immediately after leaving another dealership in disgust I found myself headed to Front Royal Ford and met Rachel, a completely different type of sales person and a different type of dealership experience. Not only did Rachel display patience and show genuine concern for our needs and desires when she wasnt sure about an answer she found it rather than make it up. We test drove several vehicles and received expert advice as opposed to calculated answers.In the end we came to the conclusion about the vehicle that we wanted and Rachels coworkers were no less considerate or helpful. And I will point out that this was on a month ending federal holiday, one of the traditionally busiest days of the year for a dealership.I have never been treated as well by another Ford dealership, nor by the Lexus dealership I had left prior...or frankly by any dealership I have been to. Thank you Rachel and thank you staff and management at Front Royal Ford.

I went in to have the oil changed in my vehicle which I had purchased when this dealership was Shenandoah Ford. I always had very good service from them and was quite pleased. When I went in on Tuesday to have oil changed, I mentioned to the person at the desk that the rear passenger window would only go down a little at a time. He asked me if I would like for them to check it, that it might just be the switch. So I said yes, I was not advised that there would be a charge for them to do this service. This person comes out with a quote on having it fixed of $700.00. I told him no.When I was advised that my car was ready and I went to pay for my oil change, I was told the bill was $180.00. I asked did they charge me to look at the window and I was advised that they did. They charged me $125.00 to tell me that it would cost me $700.00 to have it fixed. My car is a 2014 Ford Fusion. Carfax says it is valued at $3,200.00. The guy told me if I came back in to have it fixed they would deduct that amount from the total. I told his I would not be putting that kind of money in a door on a car valued at $3,200.00. I contacted another full service garage and was advised that parts and labor to fix it would be $279.00. I would like to advise Front Royal Ford to enjoy my $180.00 because they will not be getting any more from me. I see now they are ripping off customers.

Great place to buy your new Ford. Look for Johnny Squire when you get there. He was easy to work with, knowledgeable about the vehicle I bought, and honest about what to expect with the buying process as well as helping me clean out my old vehicle I traded in (even helping me remove the toolbox and lifting it over into the bed of my new truck). He even went the extra mile by personally making sure the rims on my 2020 F-350 were spotless when I came back in for the detail application a couple weeks after I purchased it. Definitely recommend Front Royal Ford to all shopping for a new or used vehicle. I genuinely believe Ford is building the best vehicles on the road!

I went in today, told them NOT to pull my credit until they know they can get me into a vehicle. Was VERY adamant about that. I know it can be done because Ive been able to do it before. They said they could do a soft pull. I was hesitant about it but decided if they could do a soft pull then ok but NOT to do a hard pull. I cant tell you how many times I expressed that. So of course they did a hard pull and couldnt get me into a vehicle without paying an astronomical amount. Im beyond livid about that because Im working on my credit and I didnt authorize it, but itll stay on my report for 2 years anyway.

It was such a great experience! From the moment I walked in the salesfloor, Cliff greeted me, I told him what I was looking for, and he showed me right to the F-150! Poor communication, questionable pricing negotiations, and they work hardest to nickel and dime you on fees. Look elsewhere.I worked over the phone to purchase a new truck from Front Royal Ford because I lived a few hours away and they had a specific color/option combination. The salesperson was quick to provide initial information and base pricing, but all communication after the first interactions were disrespectful and I now realize were purposely vague.Firstly they said they had a relationship with a spray in bedliner company and would take care of the installation, but only after I pressed them on the cost I found out it was $150 more than it would cost me to do it myself.I also worked with the salesperson to upgrade an accessory and the pricing was constantly changing. When pressed over the phone they committed to working with me to resolve the pricing before I arrived. After I drove 2.5 hours to complete the deal and sign the paperwork, they tried to charge me even more than was first quoted.The “Sales Manager” stepped in to resolve a negotiation but did not introduce himself and was generally rude in all his communication. Classic sales approach to insist they were losing money (on the advertised price that I didn’t negotiate on at all). If I had experienced this service as a walk-in customer I never would have attempted to purchase from this dealership.

I promised I would take my original review down so I won’t bring that story up. I do want to say this dealer cost me over $2,000 out of pocket to have them take a car back I had purchased from them less than three weeks prior. I asked multiple times to have the vehicle taken back and after fighting with them they eventually offered to buy it back for the price they sold it to me. I was stuck with paying the taxes and registration fees out of pocket which was over $2,000. Beware of this shady dealership. The dealer had the opportunity to make things right and they didn’t quite hit the nail on the head. Had they not cost me $2,000+ out of pocket for a vehicle they sold me I would not be writing this review. If you’re reading this Front Royal Ford, please do a better job and training your staff to try to exceed customer expectations not take advantage of the situation.

My girlfriend and I took the day off work to do some truck shopping today and found an f150 on cars.com that was at front royal ford. After calling to inquire about the truck they had told me that the truck I had seen online did not have the correct picture posted and was a different truck. They said they would pull it up to the front for us to save some time when we get there and the first thing I noticed was a completely flat tire, which was the beginning of a downhill descent. We waited for 40 minutes for them to fix the tire (which is a long time for a toddler and newborn to sit still) before finding out that it was out of gas and they needed to take it across the street to fill up before our test drive. 10 minutes later we load up the car seats and begin the test ride. First thing I notice is that it he a turn signal out, not a big deal, but then I realize the inspection sticker was rejected for a rusted out exhaust and BRAKES. FRONT ROYAL FORD WATCHED ME LOAD UP MY TODDLER AND INFANT INTO A VEHICLE THAT HAS FAILED INSPECTION FOR BRAKES. I drove back and told them that I would have not put my family into the truck if I had noticed the rejection due to brakes, and was overall not interested in the truck they were selling as “as-is”. They then told me about a newer crew cab f150 with a 6 1/2” bed (which were the 2 requirements of the truck that I am looking for) that was in the back being detailed and not yet on the lot. I asked if it was definitely the 6 1/2’ bed since I was not able to see it at the time. She said yes. I was interested so I asked them to give me a call when it was ready. 5 minutes after we left they called me to ask if I had left the key in the truck that I had just test driven (which is kind of annoying that they called instead of walking 10 feet out the front door to see that it is still running) and reiterated that they would let me know when the other truck is ready to look at. All this happened between 1 and 3 o clock. At 4 they told me the new truck was ready to come check out and I asked one again if it had a 6 1/2 foot bed. She once again said yes. We had a baby sitter to come over and watch our toddler while we went to look at the new truck to make it less difficult for us as far as swapping car seats and whatnot. I went inside to get a sales rep to show me the truck and bam, 5 1/2’ bed. Please save your self the time and frustration. I wish it was possible to rate less than one star. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

I purchased a used 2017 F250 from Tyler back in June. It was a painless transaction and he was super helpful through the whole process dealing with texts and phone calls since Im an hour away. Later once I got the truck home I noticed the chrome on both the wheels and running boards was peeling, I called and talked to the service department and they were quick to have me bring it down and take a look. They snapped some pictures, sent them to Ford and Ford is replacing all four wheels and the running boards under warranty.I couldnt be happier with my experience with Tyler and Front Royale Ford!

Had my truck serviced Monday and overall was quite satisfied. My initial service writer when I arrived was cordial and mostly professional but didn’t appear to be attentive about a concern I had with a previous service visit but overall experience was pretty good.

Sadly, my new Ford Edge died on my third day of driving it. After trying their best to get it restarted, it was towed on back to Ford. Everyone has been very accommodating and as helpful as they can be. They gave me a loaner to drive, have kept me in touch with repair status and other than a few small annoyances, theyve taken good care of me.

Salesman was excellent and did many out of the ordinary things that make dealing with him pleasurable. 2 things brought the review down: 1. The manager knew that the internet advertised price would drop in 48 hours but he would not match that price during our negotiation. The price already was good but the price drop moved it to the great range. 2. I could not test drive the vehicle on the highway nor take delivery of it for 12 days due to the backup camera being on a federal recall. The dealership did get the new camera installed expeditiously one FORD provided it however the technician who installed it failed to affiliate it with the vehicle using the FORSCAN computer and therefore not all features were operational.

The entire sales team was extremely friendly and easy to work with. The entire process was pleasant and was by far one of my best experiences I have had, when purchasing a vehicle. Would like to draw particular attention to Jared, he showed he truly cared about the customer.Service side is not as impressive. Multiple times now, has not met expectations. Recall work on EGR to the most recent oil change. Service department needs to take notes from the sales department.

Beginning of all, I would like to explain what I was subjected to, in terms of fraud in the transaction in the Finance Dep, in the Ford Front Royal, especially about the person named Gabriel; he offers to add an extended warranty to 100k included all maintenance, bumper to bumper, but I discovered that when I went to maintenance at another center, they told me I dont have insurance in this regard. I called him and told him about it, and he declined this agreement; I told him I have two witnesses about that.Later, I called his manager, Mr.Frank; I explained what happened to me; he asked me to give him some time to see whats going on; after that, Gabriel called me, and he said Frank asked him to contact me. He offers me to add a third party warranty, and I should pay an extra $140; that was his resolve of the issue. This is not matched what I expected and what I wanted. Please, make sure and review everything before you sign any papers with this dealer; everything has told me was not right. Eventually, I found myself with an unpleasant outcome.

For the past month and a half, I have been searching for a new-to-me Ford F-150. I tried dealerships in MD, PA, northern VA, even a couple buy online home delivery options. The sales tactics used by all these options had me ready to give up my search.I came across another potential truck candidate at Front Royal Ford. Based on some online reviews, I was reluctant but thought I’d try one more shop. I am so glad I did. Everyone I worked with at the facility was pleasant, honest and respectful of my time. No hidden charges, no last minute changes and no games. A straight forward and easy process from start to finish. I couldn’t be a more satisfied customer. Ive recently been taking my vehicle now for service to this dealership and have been impressed with the professionalism, timeliness and quality of work performed by this service writer and mainteance team. On both occasions, Zach Orndorff provided honest, knowledgeable and courteous customer service. For once I didnt feeling strung along or guilt tripped into service for my vehicle, unlike previous experience at other Ford locations in the Northern Virginia area. I also noticed the attention to detail on the worked provided; the mainteance performed didnt apprear sloppy or rushed. I would recommend this place to anyone for servce.

I have been taking my 2018 F-150 to Front Royal Ford for all of my service needs since the dealership where I bought it closed over a year ago. So far they have been great. It has only needed oil changes and tire rotations. I had the service done in March 2020 and asked about two noises that it was making and pretty much has shortly after I bought it. I took it back in April after doing some research to re-address these noises and get specific documentation regarding these noises (engine knock & high pitch whistling) so I could start a claim with Ford. Well the two service writers explained things to me and told me I was going to have to pay $121 for the service and that it wasnt covered under warranty. I refused to pay and that part was handled by the service manager or someone else which I was very thankful for. I have contacted Ford and started a claim. The Ford representative contacted the service manager Dave and attempted to schedule a ride along with me due to the mechanic stating he could not duplicate the engine knocking. They have declined to do a ride along at this point due to the COVID-19, which I completely understand. I think my problem is I feel like either the service manager or head/lead technician should have personally spoke to me and address these issues instead of having the service writers try to explain it. Im not upset with anyone at the dealership, they didnt build the truck, and apparently Ford knows there is an issue with these noises. I just dont like feeling that they are somewhat dismissing my concerns and or my trucks issues.

My wife and I bought a certified used 2019 Lincoln with 5k miles on it a week prior to coming to this dealership. It was in absolute perfect condition, other than needing a new rim due to some slight wheel rash. The Lincoln dealership sent us a new rim and told us we could go to any Ford Dealership close to home and have it put on. We made an appointment at Front Royal Ford. When we arrived at 8am there were two service workers in the parking lot that instantly started staring at the car. They asked my wife if they could see inside and she said no problem. They complimented the vehicle and she said thank you. I was a little nervous because they were hovering around it and I knew they’d probably mess with it a bit once it was in the shop. Regardless, I didn’t listen to my gut. It was a simple job, what could go wrong. Two hours later my wife called and asked for a status. The person she spoke to said it was delayed due to an issue with their tire machine. Three hours later I got a call that it was done. When we arrived to pick it up, the same guys that were hovering around it earlier teased my wife that they just couldnt help it and had to test drive the vehicle for awhile. At the time she just laughed it off as a joke. I checked the rim as well as I could since it was parked closely in-between two other vehicles and paid for the service. We leave and I notice on the drive home that all my settings are messed up. Even the moon roof is open. I pull into our driveway and get out for a closer inspection. I walked around to the passengers side and I instantly see a very noticeable ding over the rear tire. I had inspected this car with a fine tooth comb before purchasing. Plus I had washed and waxed the car a day beforehand. I pulled up all the pictures I had taken after purchasing and right before taking it into the dealership to confirm the damage had not been there. Front Royal Ford had definitely dinged my new car. We decide to just drive back over there since they’ll need to inspect the damage anyway. When we get there, we are directed to the assistant service manager, Mike Seal. Let’s just say he was less than enthusiastic about dealing with us and our situation. We show him the before pictures. He takes a few pictures with his phone and says, “Well, it’s going to be up to Bryan Anders, the service manager, on what he wants to do”. Mr. Seal tells us we may hear from him that afternoon or the next day. Noticing that he seemed to be blowing us off, my wife offers to provide him with a before picture and the purchase order as proof that we had just bought it. The afternoon went by with no calls from Bryan Anders. The next day I had to be in Front Royal in the morning, so we just decide to go by there again. Bryan comes out and assesses the damage. He then gives us a long winded story how its not worth fixing due to our difficult paint color. After he attempted to try to convince us that the damage wasn’t done in their garage, but rather by a stone. He states that all their body shop can do is a patch job and no where else in the area will tell us any different. In addition, he offered to submit a warranty request with Lincoln to essentially avoid admitting it was the service departments fault. Luckily, I was able to make an appointment with a very reputable body shop to see what opinion they had. Needless to say after their inspection, Front Royal Ford has cost us over $1200 in damage. It can easily be fully repaired properly with the correct paint tint/fading and not just a patch job as we were made to believe. Also, it was with their years of experience/opinion with the look of the damage and location, it was definitely not caused by a stone. A few years back our family had a bad experience with their sales department. Hesitating, we decided to try their service department thinking they may be different. We made a very costly mistake that we will never make again.

I originally bought my 2018 F-150 at Leckner Ford in Marshal, VA. Well as you probably know, they are out of the Ford business; therefore having me to find another dealership to service my truck. I decided on Shenandoah Ford, now Front Royal Ford and so far they have been great. Even though its just been oil changes, tire rotation, etc., the service department has been great. Nice, friendly and courteous. They even ran my truck through the car wash for me which was a nice surprise.

The entire experience was OUTSTANDING !!!I started chatting with Amber and had arranged to meet her. She showed the 2 vehicles that I was interested in, and then showed me 2019 version of the F-150.For a few bucks more, she got me a good price for my 2 trade in’s (a 2009 Ford Edge, and a 2010 Harley Davidson FXSTC).The trip to financing went smoother than I expected, and they worked with me getting my down-payment funds together.I can’t say enough about the total car buying experience - I have been coming here for Fords since 2005. I now consider myself a Shenandoah Ford customer for life!
