Five stars++ Last month, Auto Care Clinic replaced the catalytic converter and transmission on our 2004 Astro van. We vacation in Front Royal yearly and are unfamiliar with local merchants and shops, so we let customer reviews guide us. We were relieved that Bill Longs Auto Care Clinic could run diagnostics, provide a fair job quote, and get the job done so we could head back home to AZ. The car is running great! No problems on our trip down, and dont anticipate any related to their work. They have a solid nation-wide guarantee which eased our minds about going with a local repair shop. They will be our go-to place at Front Royal from here on out. A BIG thank you to Bill and his professional front desk staff and mechanics. My apologies for the delayed review, we were getting settled in back home.

Lady at the counter was extremely rude. They tried the typical scare tactics that something was wrong with my car and it barely passed. Also I would need to schedule an appointment immediately to have it fixed. Upon further discussion With the mechanic absolutely nothing was wrong. I’ll be reporting this to the state police. Do not let inspection places scare you into expensive repairs.

Wow!! The expansion at Auto Care Clinic is impressive. When companies grow, often customer service goes down a bit. Not here. This family business cares about both employees and customers. Scheduled service, dropped off overnight and picked up when they notified us van was done. Everyone is cheerful and treats you like youre part of the family. Their discount book made another service day free (covered under discount book). This book is worth its cost.

Traveling through the area and I got a nail in my tire. I pulled in to Bill Lang’s late in the day not expecting much. Wow! They are great, greeted me with a smile, offered me some snacks and water. They did the repair quickly, let me know what was going on every step of the way. The owner even stoped by to ask me if things were going well. If I lived in the area it would be my regular repair shop!

Ive not had the best experience with auto shops in this area, but Auto Care Clinic turned that around. This was my first time there, and Ill definitely be making them my go-to from now on. Very professional, knowledgeable, and great communication. I had a few minor things that I needed checked out. They were extremely busy, but made the time to take a look at my issues. They listened to what I needed, and did exactly that. I was able to drop my car off in the morning, and they shuttled me back to work. Throughout the day they called to give me updates so I knew exactly what was going on. They gave me a cost breakdown ahead of time, and asked permission before actually performing any repairs. When I didnt understand something, they took the time to thoroughly explain it until I did. The ladies at the service desk were friendly & helpful, and made me feel very welcomed. And while the cost is slightly higher than other places Ive been, Ill happily pay a few dollars more for quality work and satisfaction. Just an overall great place, friendly environment, with certifed techs and caring owners.

I was/am impressed! I sent my daughter to the Auto Care Clinic for a state inspection. She felt very comfortable in the lobby, and the staff made her feel welcome. Her car passed, but they noted a few items that will need our attention soon. No high pressure sales pitch or anything! She came home with a folder full of information, and they truly made her feel like a valued customer. I appreciate a business who appreciates their customers!

I love the staff ant the Auto Care Clinic -- but this time they seemed a little overbooked. A 20-minute inspection (for which I had an appointment) took over an hour. Unfortunately, because of a prior appointment elsewhere I had to bring the car back for minor inspection corrections. Well continue to use them - hopefully this was a one-off day.

I was recommended to get my state inspection here. They took me without an appointment, but I did have to come back an hour later, thats fine. I cant comment on anything else because I only got an inspection, but I will try them next time Im in need of a car repair based on others reviews. The inspection only took 30 minutes if that matters to anyone.

I had a great experience bringing in my car for an inspection. I was greeted upon arrival and was able to sit in a nice outside bench while my car was inspected. The owner brought me a new customer packet full of good information. The technicians were prompt and nice. The inspection was speedy and efficient. I was happy that not only was the staff professional and knowledgeable but also friendly!

I had the parts and he said their insurance would not let them use the customer buying the part from auto zone, which is bullcrap, they just cant add in a high price on the part if customer buys it, I am not stupid, but its their loss cause I spend over $30,000 a year on maintenance for 7 of my vehicles

It’s always difficult managing car problems but I was very pleased this time. AC quit while driving from northern NY on the hottest day in June. Reached my grandparents home and they suggested your repair shop, and I’m tired, low on funds and energy. We called and you took us in that day. Your response and explanation was something I could understand and you did the repair right away. The cost was reasonable so they also did the brakes that were overdue. All work was done right away. Based on numerous recommendations by my neighbors, I used Auto Care Clinic yesterday for the first time. I am so happy I did. The staff are friendly and professional. There is a waiting area for customers with comfy chairs and water, coffee, and snacks. I live close by and they gave me a ride home so I didnt have to wait. They also have a small loaner fleet if you need one. The work on my car was done quickly. They email you a cool summary sheet of everything they checked and what was done. I was very pleased with the entire experience and will definitely bring my car back when it needs servicing. Give them a try!

We were very pleased with our experience...we had an issue with our car and stopped by just to have it looked at and schedule an appointment if needed. They looked at the car and determined it was likely better not to drive it and took it right in. They fit us in despite their busy schedule. We explained we only had one car and they were able to provide us with a much appreciated loaner car. The shop was clean and the service excellent. Yes, yes and yes! 😎 Yes, they do excellent work on vehicles by highly skilled mechanics. My experiences for both of my vehicles have been efficient, timely, complete and fair. Yes, they are a team I feel I can trust and rely upon. And yes, they are just plain nice! ☺️ I went to them with that dreaded “I don’t know why my car is (*insert problem*) but it needs to be fixed so it can run properly...” and the diagnosis and service was simply great! For me, going into mechanics with that sort of open-ended help request has left me with a huge list of quotes on repairs, plus quotes on possible repairs that might be needed which make my head spin! I’ve been to other auto repair places including dealers and this place stands out. This is actually the first review I’ve ever posted about an auto repair place in my (thinking...) 20 or so years, it was that great and worth the write-up. A++++ ☺️

Went in for oil change during the Covid 19 pandemic. The lobby is closed which I totally understand, but what I really liked is that they apologized for the waiting room being closed. Mrs. Long came out and greeted me and introduced herself and gave me some coupons for further use. Very friendly, and fast service. Would recommend to anyone.

Best locally owned car shop in the United States! The owners are really nice. The shop is super clean and very professionally managed. All of the employees are friendly and knowledgeable. There is lots of parking available. They also sometimes have loaner cars. There is a shuttle service for customers as well. The owners are really involved in the local community and do things to help. They give out a bag of chips everytime you pick up your car. They also always do a great job on the car repairs and are very trustworthy and honest.

We had an oil change and tire rotation done plus one tire had a nail in it. Thanks to them fixing the tire we found out that Walmart lied to us just to get us to buy a new tire. The car was test driven and I was told it had plenty of power. I still had the induction and other engine cleaning done. Now the car has lots more power and my gas mileage is much improved. The car has 82,000 miles on it and I dont think that the previous owner had this service done.

Our car door broke and wouldnt close on our trip back to Arkansas, and the mechanics here were more than helpful. They had a lot of customers that day, but even so they looked at our problem right away and were able to get the door closed within the hour. They were very friendly and didnt end up charging us for the repair. The mechanics here are very good people, and if we lived nearby, we would definitely come to them with our car repair needs.

I have visited the Auto Care Clinic three times to date and each experience has been exceedingly positive.Friday , prior to a 300 mile drive to North Carolina , I noticed a tire with low pressure. The tire would not take air and I stopped by on the off chance that they might look at it fully knowing that I had no appointment. After less than 30 minutes they had addressed the problem and I was on my way! These folks are always friendly, courteous, and professional. Everyone at Lake Frederick patronizes this business and everyone is a fan!
