I had an awful experience with this location this afternoon. When my husband and I entered the showroom, there were 4 employees sitting, but only one looked up and awkwardly said hi. After we walked into the 2nd room, we were eventually greeted with a hello by another woman who quickly walked by with stuff in her hands, but no one ever asked if they could help us. We found a couple of sets of furniture that we liked, but we had a few questions. We finally gave up the hope of asking an employee. I was quite disappointed with the employees. One girl was propped up against a wall and seemed to be scrolling on her phone, 2 other employees were on computers, and another seemed to be texting on her cell phone. Only 1 person was up walking around. As we exited, we walked by three of the people who were sitting, and not one of them acknowledged our presence. I cannot imagine returning to this store.

Store was immaculately kept!! Was looking for a specific sofa, I forgot the name of the younger lady that helped me, but she asked me a few questions and showed me 2 sofas that I both loved! So I bought them both. One for my family’s house and one for my Aunt as an early 50th birthday gift. We absolutely love them, the quality and comfort is amazing!! I hope you can maybe look up who sold 2 sofas that day, it was a Thursday day around 1pm a few weeks ago, she was fantastic!!

5 Stars! We started off first at Basset looking for a sectional couch, we wanted value and quality and a good look in our new house. My wife started looking a few weeks ago and finally brought me in this past weekend. I have to say Andrea is top notch, professional and has an excellent eye and trusted experience. We found the furniture we liked, but felt we needed to keep looking around to make sure there wasnt something else out there in another store that caught our eye. By the end of the weekend we hurried back to Bassett and Andrea finished out our purchase. Excellent store and customer service. Thanks, Andrea! - The Broussards

My sales lady, Liz Jackson (AT ENERGY CORRIDOR) was awesome!!! Helped me when I needed it and then let me have time to shop on my own. Then ordered all my stuff online without me having to come into the store in the pouring rain! How convenient and great!!Home Delivery was great! Nice, friendly, and made sure they cleaned up after themselves.. most NEVER do that! Very please all around. My first purchase with Bassett, but not my last!

Our sales person, Tom, helped with the choice of fabrics and all the furniture came together really well. The delivery guys did an outstanding job of protecting our property as well as protecting the furniture until it was in place. The service man was excellent also. His repairs blended perfectly to the furniture. Overall a good experience.

Nancy Norton, our Design Associate, was so very helpful, patient and knowledgeable with the products sold both in store and online. the entire experience was very easy going and as stress free as possible. Great Job!!

Warranty process is horrible. furniture delivered damaged. when you finally see an item on clearance you get an idea for what there stuff is really worth. We did get a couple $300 lamps for $20 a piece that we brought home and we are happy with those.....

The Bassett furniture is all American made with solid wood and high quality.

Mark (Baybrook) was very kind and patient with us as we tried to make up our minds on several visits. We had the furniture delivered in two trips. Both times the delivery people were prompt, polite, and efficient.

I ordered a custom swivel chair from the Friendswood location. When the chair arrived, the mechanism was broken. It took three months and numerous phone calls to customer service for the chair to be repaired. The replacement mechanism did not fix the problem. After several calls in May another technician was dispatched to repair the chair. He lubricated the mechanism and pronounced it could not be fixed. He did take a video for customer service to review. I was told I would be contacted. After two weeks, I contacted the Friendswood location and was told they were waiting on the factory to respond. After two more weeks I called again and was told the video was defective. Now we seem to be in a holding pattern. It has been almost a year since the chair was delivered.

Knowledgeable professional staff with the best quality available. A must stop for a buyers of high quality furniture.

Edited to add: I see the note left by Bassett, though this is untrue. We have spoken to managers multiple times with no help provided other than Sorry! Once they make a sale, they dont provide any support if customers have issues with their products. We were even asked if it was paid off or fiananced, and when I said it is fully paid for I was even more dismissed by their customer service employees.We have been entirely unsatisfied with our experience at Bassett. We bought a sofa and chair in the fabric displayed on the floor, which was implied to us to not be considered a custom order. It turns out it is considered custom and instead of the 30 days they guarantee, it took us closer to 2 months to receive our furniture. It was sold to us with what was explained as an all inclusive lifetime waruntee, but less than two months later the fabric of the sofa had become extremely pilled and looked well used already. When we called about it we were informed that is excluded in the waruntee, were told repeatedly they had never heard of this issue, and only given a de-pilling tool to use. (Though the fact that they exclude this in the waruntee and offer a free tool suggests that this IS in fact a common issue). The furniture here appears to be of much lower quality than that of lower priced competitors and the company does not stand behind their products to ensure the are delivering quality furniture. We will definitely be shopping elsewhere in the future.
