Just finished my first ride after getting my bike back for new tires and respoking the rear. Before I brought it in, it was falling apart after years of wear and tear as my means of getting around at the University of Florida. After getting it back the bike feels totally new! Even better they were able to cut the cost of parts in half compared to another store in Cape Coral by using silver spokes instead of black (which are $2 a spoke rather than $1). The folks there are both knowledgeable and friendly. Give them a visit if you need your bike checked out!

Have vintage bikes and these folks really know there trade. Have had hubs laced to wheels & general bicycle maintenance always excellent work. I would highly recommend to all enthusiasts

Friendly service, however… I asked then to put a new fork on my bike which I provided and they did it next day which was great. It looked right, was the length I asked, and I was excited to ride it the next day. When I got on the bike it felt weird. To tight, inconsistent and had play between the frame and fork. I took it apart to see the fork didn’t get a bottom raceway put on. After fixing that issue I realized now the headtube isn’t the right length. It’s now 1/4 inch lower than where it was. So now it sits too low for the space, and to high to run it without so now it’s ******. I was expecting better. I don’t think wanting a fork to be put on properly is a lot to ask for. Especially a 800$ fork. God forbid he accidentally cut it short and trashed the whole fork.

So u have one person giving 33 reviews one 18 reviews and another 7 reviews and they are all 5 star. Sounds fishy to me. I bought a bike there. It was great and I spent almost 650 dollars for it. The lady was great but the owner was not very friendly or nice. After I paid. He didnt even say thank you and he was rude like annoyed to talk to me. So just letting you know. Dont believe how many 5 stars they have its from 3 people.

Took my bike to have the front tire worked on the guy tightened everything stripped everything out nothing stays tight $1,300 bike ruined because they have no clue about all bikes

The man I spoke to made me feel stupid for asking to check my flat tires. He did however inflate my tires. I was going to get a full lube and check up but decided not to. My bike had not been used for a long time but he made my concerns seem trivial. I try to use my bike safely but unless you are a professional do not go there. Leisure cyclists are not their clientel

Diane is very helpful and takes her time to pick out children’s bike. Safety is her #1 concern. Like to patronize a local store for a bike compared to a big box store

Some lady refused to allow me to walk around and look.....little secret..not everyone can afford a 3k bike...All we have are super high performance models she tells me..and the mechanic dude has a super chip on his shoulder..i was there to buy a bike and you ruined it for me...

Called to ask about having my back tire changed. They told me the price, very reasonable. I was told to bring it in and drop it off, then pick it up the following day. To my surprise John was able to change it on the spot. It gave him a little difficultly because it sat flat for a day or so but he got it done in short time.Great service.Great price.Good people!I highly recommend them!

Has everything you need for bikes. 2 stars because I was able to get everything I needed. Low rating because I noticed when I got home that I was charged more than the sticker on the product stated. Shady to take advantage of someone who is unfamiliar with the product/industry.

I just bought a road bicycle from this shop. I worked with John, one of their mechanics and salesmen. John is a great guy. He assisted me with choosing the bike and getting the size right. He made lots of adjustments until we got the fit right. He helped me get my accessories too, including my cycling shoes and pedals. The owners, Mike and Diane, are kind people who treated me right. I hope to buy more bikes from this shop.

First visit to Fort Myers Cyclery today and I couldnt be more impressed. I was greeted immediately when I rolled my bike through the door. A Service Tech took a look at the repairs I requested and made a few suggestion to make things even better. I had some time to look around the shop and was again impressed with the quality products available. The repairs I needed were completed timely and to my satisfaction. I highly recommend a visit to Fort Myers Cyclery for all your biking needs.

Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful! We bought used bikes that were in great condition. Not only were my boys able to test ride the bikes, but they were taught how to pump the tires to the correct psi for optimum performance. Staff also showed them proper helmet instructions and security measures for preventing their bikes from being stolen! Awesome local shop! We went to Dicks sporting goods (#dickssportinggoods) first, but never received any assistance, ended up walking out without ever encountering a staff member.

There the best! Would only use them. The problem! Tooooo busy. Too much business Will take a long time to fix. But I will still wait to have bike repaired because I just will. I put 180 miles a week on average ! It’s an old trek madone 10 years . Needs Cassette , chain , front wheel has wobble, grips etc.Still using And will get by till there ready to repair

This place is great. I moved away from Fort Myers for 7 years after frequenting this shop for many years. My experience when I returned was just as great as when I first used them back in 2004. Ive visited probably 6-7 bike shops in between (due to location). None of them were even close as far as the quality of work or customer service. Great shop that I would highly recommend.

I have taken my cheap fold-up bike in for small repairs on several occasions. No matter how small the work, they do the job quickly and courteously. On a couple of occasions, they have done minor work, and even replaced a defective tire, for free. I dont believe there is any repair that they cannot do, and all of there work is excellent and inexpensive. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Great guys that are at the shop. They helped me and my husband with some new tires for his bike. It was a bit expensive but we got nicer tires and expected the price. There are also a lot of great accessories that they carry. I give them 4 stars on the location because they are located at the corner of a busy intersection and it was difficult to get out of the place. But 5 stars for their service.

I was referred to this business when I hit a bicyclist in the back tire with my car. (He was safe, no injuries sustained to the bicycle or the rider.) They took care of his bicycle promptly and were very professional. I appreciate their help in taking care of him. Thank you for doing a terrific job!

This simply the best shop in town to deal with. Mike is an excellent wheel builder; second to none! This shop can fix anything from alignments of the dropouts on my old school steel frame, custom wheel builds to working on ultra modern Di2 setups. This is the place that knowledgeable riders take their bikes for repair and service.

Hi there everyone... Im writing this review to let everyone know what an AMAZING place this is to get a bike. Mike & Diane are truly the best when it comes to customer service. These folks are your classic, old school customer comes first minded. So, I stopped by sometime in mid September and met with them about a certain bike I was looking for. Mike knew what I was looking for right away. He and I hit it off right away. I was looking for a classic schwinn delux but I was told that these bikes had been discontinued a few years back. Story of my life 😁...In any case, Mike began to take notes on what I wanted. He didnt have such a gem in his showroom, but he began working on the bike nonetheless.I will say this, it took him some time to get this done. But as you know... Rome wasnt built in a day. This bike had to be perfect in every way. So fast forward to late November... After many updates and text messages back and forth, the bike was done. Phew! I have to say, they buttoned up this bike and it is a one of a kind. It beautiful and more than what I expected. Ok... Enough. Bottom line is this,; if you want a badass bike, stop wasting your time going anywhere else. Go see Mike & Diane. I have been bringing my two teenagers bikes to this Schwinn for the past year. They ride their bikes to work and at times they get pretty beat up. I cant tell you how many flat tires theyve had, but Schwinn always took care of them and theyre very affordable.

This is the place to have your bike fixed or the place to buy your new bike. Theyre nice and know what they are doing. Great place reminds me of the old days when you could trust the vendor.

Agree with all the other reviews, fast efficient service while you wait, that is if the problem can be fixed easily. Went over and above to fix the derailleur without charging us extra when we went in just to get a tube put in the tire. They have a fine selection of bikes and accessories.

Great staff, Everytime I go there they save me a average of $7.00. Their products are as great as their staff. Its now twice Ive been here for a repair on one of my bicycles and again I was more than pleased. With both the price and service. They fixed my rear rim on my E-Bicycle. First time here I purchased a wheel for my Schwinn turned out I purchased the wrong wheel. When I returned for an exchange the man behind the counter was discusted I ask for an exchange. Not sure if it was my lack of knowledge or me personally. I got the exchange no questions asked but that attitude would turn anyone off. Its my first Schwinn and was looking forward to being a long time customer since Im new to bicycling. This is why people turn to online purchasing. I wont be back.

Came in during a long distance bike ride from Miami to Tampa. Had two punctured tubes on the rear wheel, and didnt know what was causing it. Came in early, and the techs helped me out quick (dropped what they were doing) so that I could keep riding and not lose more daylight. Greg, the main tech who was working on my bike was very helpful, and took out a map to show me the safest route to keep going north. They also gave me some other tips, and helped out with little things that my bike needed. Really cool shop, looks like they have everything that a cyclist needs, and really helpful and professional staff. I would drop back in if I am ever riding through Fort Myers again.

If you have a bike, this is the place to go! My husband and I bought a bike from Wal-Mart. Had bike less then a year and the gears not working. Called Wal-Mart and they said theres nothing they could do but give us the manufacturers number. We called them and they sent us the parts to fix. They said the bike was still under warranty, although Wal-Mart only has a 90 day warranty on bikes. Manufacturer said if we took the bike back to Wal-Mart they could put the parts on for us. Called Wal-Mart and was given some excuse as to why they couldnt do it. Took bike into this bike shop. The guy we spoke to took care of everything. While we were there we bought chain oil, tire pump, and few other things my son needed. So, NOW WE KNOW WHO GETS OUR BUSINESS FROM NOW ON. If you need ANYTHING for your bike, or want to have a PROFESSIONAL look over your bike.......THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!!😀 Thanks Again Guys!!

Im a believer in supporting local businesses in ones community. Ive lived in this area for 15 plus years. Customer service is about building long term relationships and quality service. That is not to much to ask when paying for product and service. I was in the market for a bike in 2010 living downtown I had minimal options but saw a shop called Fort Myers Schwinn Cyclery 3630 clevland Blvd.. I asked a few bike riding friends about this establishment and was told the owner by the name of Mike, and his staff had MAJOR ATTITUDE PROBLEMS...I always believe in forming my own opinions.. So having been warned, and having limited choices I dropped by this shop to check it out for myself... Inventory was good as was the location, but the service was unbelievably weak at best. I felt ignorned along with being given a bad attitude and quite frankly, I felt like i was irritating the staff about asking questions.. All I was doing was shopping for a good bike.. A good Bike is a big investment.. The staff was dismissive and not helpful.. Mike the owner was the worst of them all.. I did my own research and found the bike I wanted.. Because of limited bike shops in my area I unfortunatly ended up having to purchase my bike their. It was a huge mistake to go against my gut instincts and the negative advice from other patrons.. This is not a business the community of Fort Myers should support... BIG THUMBS DOWN , BIG DISSAPPOINTMDENT

Been into the store for service on my bike through the years, and theyve always been fair with price and quality of part or tire replacement.I was blessed today to buy a new bike a Canondale. What a great road bike with excellent ride, shifting, breaking, lightweight, and all the bells and whistles.The most important is the service, and Rafiq, went above and beyond explaining the differences between the cycles they carry and made sure that my final decision on the bike I chose, whats the right decision for me.
