I went to this office today because my sister recommended it. What a pleasant experience! To start off, the ladies in the front/reception area Cat and Ada were WONDERFUL. They are bilingual and that made my mom extremely happy. It was A BIG PLUS for her being able to communicate and for me because saved me the time to translate for my mom.🙏 The slim lady with braids that assisted the doctor with the exam was very sweet too. Sorry that I could not get her name.😔 They were packed today, but they all had a great attitude with me, my son, my mom, and the rest of the patients waiting. Doctor Reeves is a sweetheart! Very patient and professional. Also very informative with all of us. We got the feeling that he really cares about his patients. I would definitely recommend this office based on our experience and definitely will be our place to go for our eye exam every year. We have been going here for years. Dr. Enis used to be our doctor but he retired early for health reasons. I miss him. He was a great person. He found a wonderful substitute to carry on the great service. We are always treated well. They do a great job of selecting employees. We visit once a year and they seem to remember us every time.

I used to go to this location under the old optometrist 😔 but stopped going once my insurance changed and started going elsewhere. Well, my insurance changed again and I can no longer go to the other place, I reached out and came back. I was a little skeptical at first because I really liked the old doctor 😔. Anyhow, the staff was really friendly & welcoming and Dr. Reeves is pretty cool. I liked how he walked the patients out and spoke to them like they were his friends. THAT was what gave my seal of approval. I will continue to go here (as long as my insurance doesn’t change again).

First time going in a long time. It was quick and painless loved having another option to dilating my eyes. The dr and staff are friendly and efficent. And for the first time in years my prescription is exactly right and can see perfectly.

Was looking for a new eye care that was covered under my insurance network provider. I decided to try this provider. The process to set up new clients and and for my exams was a smooth process. I had great experience with their team. And doctor Reeves is a cool doctor provide me information about my eye health.

Dr. Reeves is a fantastic optometrist!! I had been to see 2 different eye doctors before him and nobody could fix my eye issue (contact lense allergy). He did! He also helped me yesterday with my recent blurred vision due to blood sugar changes. Not only is he extremely competent, but he is thorough. He is also fast without making you feel like he is rushing you. Best eye doctor ever!!

Apparently, the last time I got an eye exam from this place was eight months ago. The doctor is good. I had seen him the year prior and never had any issues. The staff, however, is terrible. The doctor wrote a new prescription for contact lenses not because anything was wrong with my previous prescription but because he thought it would be good to see further away. I agreed, not knowing that to be able to see objects further away would come at the cost of me seeing objects up close. His staff member typed in my prescription incorrectly in the system giving me the wrong lens strength. I had to return to them twice to fix the error. Fast forward to today, I had called because I wanted to go back to my original prescription. When I was explaining to the associate that answered why the current prescription was interfering with my ability to work she cut me off, asking for my info, so she could hurry the interaction. I didn’t know when exactly I had been in for my exam but she was very quick to inform me that it was eight months ago and that I would need another exam just to go back to my original prescription. I don’t think understand the need for an eye exam if I want to go back to my original prescription. I think I know my eyes and if what I see is blurry or not. And instead of explaining, she kept repeating that I would need an exam, as if the line had been drawn and she was not going to budge on her position. Like I said, the Doctor is good, some in his staff should not be working with people. So, I guess if I have to have an eye exam I will now be going to a different doctor. I know they are not hurting for business because I had to wait almost a month to be seen but maybe they are just to busy to be care or to be kind.

Received a confirmation text after booking appointment informing me of 24 hour cancelation notice. They then proceeded to send me ANOTHER confirmation text the morning of my actual appointment. Imagine my surprise when I walk through the door and was told that my appointment was canceled and needed to be rescheduled! First time patient that will never make an appointment at this office again. Good thing Lenscrafters optometrists at Cross Creek Mall were able to me as a walk in and provided excellent service.

Great customer service!! Visionworks did a nice job ensuring everyone kept a safe distance and followed safety precautions against Covid-19. Jacob was very attentive and polite. He was helpful and very knowledgeable on the plans and coverage. He even helped me pick out some great frames that fit my face perfectly!

Our other eye dr was always 3 to 4 months out for appt and treated u as a number not a patient... So we decided to change for our first visit to Advance Eye Care was the best experience ever. Efficient. Professional. Courteous.. And knowledgeable. My husband and I both had appt they kept us together during all testing and even during the eye exam with the doctor. Dr Reeves was AWESOME!!! And explained the whys and what and was straight to the point. Awesome place we will b back. Best experience ever for us.

Great office team, Doctor was concise and no fuss, was in and out in no time with what I needed.The frames shop next door however was not as accommodating, decided not to buy frames because of how pushy the staff were.

Made myself an appointment for contact lens and also made my daughters appointment for glasses and to be introduced to Contacts since she’s in high school ,went in told the receptionist of my last bad experience and all I want is some contacts,filled out my paperwork good my eyes checked so did my girls no one said anything about the contacts I wanted them to try but I set there waiting the receptionist came out and gave me some prescriptions for glasses so I said “ I’m sorry where’s my prescription for my contacts that’s what I made my appointment and came here for she proceeded to show me the writing on the intake form where they themselves made an error and put glasses then said oh “we can do it for contacts but now you have to pay $100” I came here only for contacts appointment was made for contacts and I would have gotten the lens prescription with that so why would I not want my insurance to be build for contacts she looked at me and told me to have a great day ,so I’m currently disputing this claim with my insurance.

Staff knew nothing about my insurance and asked me to pay $95 to be seen, my glasses were broke and I had no choice but to pay to see the doctor. I have been coming here for years and was not told that the doctor retired and I was seeing someone new. The office/small lobby was filled to capacity during a pandemic, even lined up along the hallway. I have never been more disappointed. Needles to say I will never go back here! I contacted my insurance company and was told I was entitled to a free eye exam annually.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Reeves took care of me and my son at the same time. He took his time and addressed the fact that my astigmatism had worsened. Im glad he caught it. I wear contacts and never new how bad my vision had gotten until the eye exam. Needless to say, he assured me that I will be able to see 100% without the glare. Im good to go now. Wonderful experience!!! The girls upfront were so knowledgeable with insurance and questions I had to help save my family money. The doctor was able to do both my husband and my appointment together, saving us time. We have been searching for an eye doctor for 2 years and while this office is 45 minutes from us we will happily become regular patients here!!! Two appointments as new patients and we were finished in under an hour, both with very comprehensive thorough exams! I really cannot say enough about our wonderful experience!

Ive been getting my eye checked at the walmart super center practically all my life, i switched over 2-3 years ago to vision works and i actually feel welcomed and taken seriously. also i thought it was cool that dr.reeves spoken to my father in fluent Haitian creole throughout my whole visit.at the end my visit me and my dad where both given complementary iPhone chargers (the long onces, good quality)

New update 06/07/2021: First let me say, We have been paying monthly on our bill to Dr. Reeves.February 2019 my husband had open heart surgery in Chapel Hill. He spent a total of over 4 week sin the hospital. AFTER our insurance, we still owed over $50,000 to various hospitals, doctors, labs, etc. We pay monthly towards it all. It is NOT easy! His heart doctor works with us. We pay as much as we can every time my husband goes for a follow up on top of the amount we pay monthly. his heart doctor truly cares about the health of my husband..not just money. Its easy to see and feel when you are at his office.We always pay everything we owe, but sometimes you cant pay for certain health issues at 100% right at the moment of service. Most people cant do that. (Well Im sure eye doctors can)My husband has the beginnings of glaucoma and was prescribed drops. He needs more and had a follow up appointment today. When he got there he was told it would be $95. He said we could pay $30 and we will of course continue payments. The person at the front desk had to ask the doctor if that was okay..just $30.. and the doctor said no. We simply dont have $95, and again my husband is off the road from trucking and losing money to go to an appointment. And the office can clearly see we send payments every month.Dr. Reeves does not seem to care about my husbands eyes. Only about money in his pocket. I dont need my contacts in to see that clearly.earlier post from last year:My husband is an OTR truck driver and it is extremely difficult to get him home for appointments here in Fayetteville. He may be in Wyoming and have to get his company to bring him across country to make an appointment. When he is not driving a day, we are out part of his weekly check to the tune of $200-$300 as he will miss part of another work day until a load is ready for him to get and take somewhere.He had an appointment with this office and got 2 text reminders that morning (a glaucoma appointment). He showed up that afternoon and was told the doctor was not in and he would have to reschedule. The reason the doctor was not in is because (I was told) appointments on that day were for a different test that the doctor does not have to be there for. So he was incorrectly put on that day.The whole procedure was to be $195. They let him pay $100 the first visit. When we returned for this rescheduled second visit yesterday he was told he would have to pay $95 and a $25 late fee. He was never advised of a late fee and AFTER we left the office after stating how inconsiderate it was and how he lost money working that day for no reason, they said they were crediting the $25 late fee. I mean..thanks for the apology and for not charging us a ridiculous fee we werent advised of, but he is still out that $200. I feel he should not have to pay the $95, as he missed a day of pay and then had to reschedule a whole other day home with his company. But its not coming out of the doctors pocket or anyone elses in that office. Just our familys pocket.

Had a appointment on Friday and got contacts. Me being me i did not listen to the doctor and got single vision contacts instead if the bifocals. After wearing Friday i called on Saturday and asked if i could get bifocals. They said no problem and to do a walk in. Was in and out on a Saturday in less then 30 minutes and no extra charge even though it was my mistake. The Doctor and staff are super friendly and a very nice place. Highly recommend them to everyone!

This was my first visit but our son has been there many times and by far a great experience. Also having the technology to not be dilated, it is faster and you can safely drive away when done. So it has been quite some time since I have seen the optometrist. I came across this location from google. I didn’t read any reviews, but maybe someone will read mine before choosing where to go. I will recommend this hidden gem to anyone. The staff was super friendly! There were 2 other people who arrived while I was waiting, who had issues with lens crafters and another who had billing issues. The way the receptionist (Katie) handled their individual situations was PHENOMENAL. The woman who checked my eyes was such a sweetheart and the Dr was amazing too. I was just pleased all the way around, so if your teetering between places to go... GO HERE!!!

Im giving this business 1 star because of the way the office staff handled my particular case. I called to make my appt and asked if I would have a copay. I was told no, my insurance would cover it. When I arrived for my appt everything was fine. I really like the eye dr and had no issues until I left. I checked out at the front and again asked if I owed anything. Again I was told no. I live about 45 minutes to an hour away from the office. I went home and received a phone call basically telling me that I had forgotten to pay my copay when I left. Uh, no I didnt forget. I was told on 3 separate occasions that there wasnt one. Well, I explained that i wouldnt be able to bring jt in until the end of the week. The lady I spoke to stated well I guess we will see you at the end of the week then . I ended up going by the next day and speaking with the office manager. I was basically told that because there were new people in rhe office, they didnt charge me my copay. Well thats fine and i didnt dispute that I owed the money, just that I had to drive 45 mins to an hour out of my way when it could have been handled same day, while I was there. So long story short...i paid the 40.00 i owed but no one regarded the time or gas necessary during a pandemic to rectify this. I feel they could have offered me some trial lenses or something but instead nothing.

My mother uses this agency and their services frequently. In most cases when she or I call try to speak with someone during normal business hours there is no one to answer the phone. On occasions when staff actually answer they will ask you to hold; and regardless of the response the staff puts the call on hold. I have waited up to 15 minutes and eventually end the calls. The process and support to answer calls is not adequate and really needs to improve.

Everyone was very friendly. I was informed about my vision and products for dry eyes and allergies. The wait time was a little much; however, the tech acknowledged it, explained, and apologized when I was called in for my exam. Picking out my frames was very easy. I was advised of all the specials they had and I was able to use my prescription card. This was an awesome experience.

We hadnt been there in three years, and Dr. Ennis walked up and remembered my name and my husbands name, and details about our lives. He is AWESOME. He is kind, gentle, and caring. I believe he has been practicing now for over 27 years. We wont go to anyone else. EXCELLENT service, perfect prescriptions, and great advice. Nice Christian man. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I would recommend this office. I scheduled an appointment on a Tuesday and was fit in on a Wednesday afternoon. The staff is excellent and they were extremely helpful. I was able to witness them doing something positive for a patient and it shows that the clinic is very patient oriented! This office is awesome. My first time going and I was able to schedule an appointment the same day I called. I only had to wait less than 5 minutes to get my exam started. And their prices are extremely fair. 25% less than every other place that I called in the area. Dr. Ennis and his staff are efficient and well organized. The whole visit took ab 10 minutes. I definitely will be going back and I will definitely refer to all my friends.
