The customer service was great! They had my car completed when they said it would be. The price wasn’t bad at all.

I dropped my 2011 Maxima to get an estimate on a transmission fluid leak. I drove it there and it was driving in next to perfect condition.Two days later after not hearing from them I called and the manager told me my transmission was done and there was nothing that could be done. That he recommended getting a new one which was over $3500 plus labor. Told me the tech looked at it and drove it and accoriding to him there were over 10 transmission codes. (which is a lie because I had just scanned it and there was only the mass flow sensor light on).I went to pick up my car right away and I told the manager that I was going to put a review regarding my experience and that they were a bunch of crooks. He followed me in the parking lot trying to instigate for me to do something physical.I laughed and walked away.Same day I got my car towed to a Transmission shop in Duluth, they completly took apart my transmission, replaced all the seals for the transmission and engine and got me ready within 5 days. $2700 and a year warranty.Its my opinion that Mr. Transmission in Fayetteville, GA does bad business and takes advantage of whoever gives them a chance. smh. Bad business.

I took my vehicle for inspection of a couple of leaks, 3 days later they finally found the culprits. After getting the quote I just told them to do the coolant leak, which took another day. When I got home my 12 year old son was able to find within 10 minutes that the coolant was still leaking, even worse than before. The gentleman at the front counter was very unprofessional! After paying for my repair and it still not being fixed I will NEVER go back or refer anyone else to the company!

My disabled Uncle took his vehicle to Mr. Transmission in Fayetteville GA. Seeing he was disabled they obviously took him for easy prey and overcharged him by a ridiculous amount over $400.00 for a Transmission service! This is the kind of place that gives auto repair shops a bad name! I would strongly recommend going somewhere else!

We are in a pandemic and there are some Americans who have fallen on hard times but there are still companies who take advantage of people situations. Ive been saving for 30+ days to get a rebuilt transmission, I called around and when I spoke with this person it was good customer service and great talk about their shop and quoted (1) around $1500, I looked at reviews and decided to go with them even though it was out of my way. I dropped my vehicle off, I knew that the torque converter was the problem, I had a diagnostic test done. The next day I received a call stating that the torque converter was wormed and they need to open the transmission to check if there were any other damages, he called back 5 minutes later with another quote (2) of $2600. I need my vehicle to travel to work to help paid our bills. The customer service changed after they received the over the phone approval and the $1500 down, I used a check because if you use a credit card they charge an extra 3.7 fee. We had some thoughts when my wife went to drop off the down payment check and saw the vehicle in the parking lot? I called in to check on the progress, sometimes they would answer or I would leave a message. I wish that I would have gone to a more fair and honest place. I called around again just to get a better understanding on how a rebuild transmission is charged, now I know something isnt adding up. I received a call stating that theyre doing and that he needed to add everything up? He called back 5 minutes later with the (3)quote, $3032. I asked for a itemize receipt but I dont see how it went from $1500 to $3032. Were honest hard working Americans and we dont mind patronizing businesses who are fair and honest and dont use the system to take advantage of my family. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. Were behind on our bills now but with Gods will we will sustain. Army first and may God bless us all even the people that work in this shop.

Honestly did an awful job on my transmission. Spent $3000 and still had to spend another $500 because they had to replace the pump because of transmission leak. I should’ve went to aamco

I usually perform my own auto repairs. However, I really didnt feel like replacing my u-joints and drive shaft center support myself. So I googled repair shops and it lead me here. I absolutely got a fair price and work was completed in the same day.

The service I received at the Fayetteville, GA Mr. Transmission completely shattered the stigma usually associated with leaving your vehicle with a mechanic with whom youve had no former experience. When my truck stranded me on the side of the road, I called Ray at Mr. Transmission. Within the hour, a wrecker picked me up, dropped me off at my home and delivered my truck to the shop. Ok, its time for the BBB to be involved. Performance check completed on a 84 Chevy Caprice. The owner replied he cant give any paperwork on the performance check. The only info they will give needs to be verbal. If this is true being a consumer one should be careful.

First off Id like to tell Ray and his staff thanks for doing such a great job with my F-150....I brought my truck in because it was loud as a train and was told by NTB that my rear end was going out...Got it in to Mr transmission and was informed by Ray that my wheel bearings had gone bad.This brought me a big sigh of relief because the cost of doing a rear end and doing some wheel bearings was significantly cheaper.Ray and his staff got my truck back up and going in no time...This will be my go to shop in the future...

Ive been using this shop for close to 5+ years. Ive never had a bad experience. They are kind. As a female car owner Ive never felt belittled or talked into purchasing more than what I wanted to do. Their prices are fair and the turnaround time is on target. They stick to the prices they quote you and dont nickle and dime you.

So disappointed with Mr Transmission don’t quite know what’s going on with them as of late , But they use too have A-1 service but here as of late it seems as though the concerns are not that of the customer but rather that of the Money I’m not sure if the pandemic has put them in situations that they need money really fast or badly but it’s not great I’ve thought of calling the better business bureau on several occasions because of the quality of there work I personally will not recommend any one at this time too repair anything from this place of business It’s just awful

I had my transmission rebuilt and then was still experiencing a problem. I took it back several times and they finally fixed it after several months of going back and forth. The guys were cool but I feel like they just blew me off and took advantage of the fact that I have no experience with transmission concerns. After the 4th attempt I was told I had a torque converter shutter they made some changes and WOW my shifting is now better also go figure. The rear main seal still leaks from day 1 and was always told it was other leaks. Well I fixed the other leaks and WOW the rear main is still leaking. I will not return but good luck I am sure they do good work just not for me. Oh yeah and forget a call back that is not happening. You will have to call them every time.

Lied to me about price. I told them I could not spend no more then the price I was quoted. Then they called me and it was almost double. I told them I would come and pick it up and they said I would still owe the price I was originally quoted.

They wanted to charge me $1600 to rebuild my transmission that was slipping when it overheated but otherwise had no codes and ran great. That did not include the cost of any parts they would find needed to be replaced. The manager initially recommend trying a cooler module be attached to transmission to save me money however the assistant manager refused stating my transmission was already damaged and he wouldnt just do that. Not having $1600 I decided to start with the basics by replacing my Thermostat and coolant. I then realized my fan wasnt working properly. Long story short there was absolutely nothing wrong with my transmission but after speaking with independent mechanic I was informed that the Honda (I have a 99 Honda Accord LX) has a chip responsible for shifting the transmission that when it gets too hot will cause it to malfunction and slip. Car is running great but I will most likely need to replace my fan relay. Mr transmission you failed becuz you put making the most money you could over helping a financial struggling customer. I think the manager had the right heart however his assistant had no concern and refused any other option then to try and take me for the max. Sorry but you missed this time and I hope others find this helpful by considering the basics before trusting your final diagnosis.

Company offered to tow vehicle to their shop to do assessment at no charge. Both myself and my wife were told the same thing on two separate telephone calls. When we decided that we did not want to have the service repaired at the shop they demanded we pay $130 or they would keep the car and charge storage fees or have it impounded. We would like to talk with the business owner about their dishonest tactics used to entice and defraud customers. ***Buyer please look elsewhere and get something in writing***

If they had negative stars thats what they shouldve got my experience here was so poor I called them on a Thursday they was suppose to pick my car up on Fri, no call no car pick up so I called them on sat which they close early they told me someone will pick my car up later on sat evening. So I asked them when would they be able to look at it he said 1st thing Monday morning and they will give me a call by Monday noon I waited til 4:45 Monday and still no call so I called them and they claim somebody didnt call them back so could he call me back in 5 mins then when he called back he told me 3,345 to fix my car I replied lies so I waited until wed gave them a call that I was going to get my insurance to come get my car they told me I had to pay $142 for towing cause or they wont going to release my car. I didnt want to get the repairs done at the moment never told me that before so I said can I pay with my card since I dont have a car no I have to pay with cash.. then my fiancé gets there they try to charge him $147 wanting more money to put in there pockets for nothing I wouldnt dare remand this place to anyone.. bad service and bad Commutation..

Typical Bait and Switch (ultra common with trans shops)While my transmission does appear to be in better running condition than before I took it in (removed from the car myself) and the input shaft bearing that was rattling was replaced I was upsold for parts that would have given me trouble soon at a PREMIUM price, sure the initial cost was straightforward, $500 for the most common manual transmission in the US (90s civic) to be cleaned, inspected and reassembled with one bearing and all seals replaced, when I got back up there when I got the call it was ready (quick service, a week or so turnaround) the price doubled because I was probably grinding in a couple gears which was total bs and just an attempt to separate me from more of my money with the number one line they use. While I have no reason to doubt they actually replaced the parts they say it needed they never called for me to inspect the old ones and make a decision before doubling the price. On a more positive note the transmission was properly put back together and has run for nearly 20,000 miles without incident since.

Wish I could give them negative stars. They quoted one price and charged four times the price and took 4 months to work on the car, which never worked right when they finished it. They replaced parts that were new and broke working items. Scam!!!! Please beware!!!

Very timely, courteous and honest. Im a former automotive technician and never once did I feel like I was being shook down.

It took awhile to fix everything that was wrong.But they took their time to make sure everything was right and ready to go.You get what you paid for and I think for what I paid will help in the long run.
