Have kids in UA for last 8 years and these guys are my go to team. They have always been up front and treated my kids right. I know cars and fix most issues myself but, being in Dallas I cant fix when they are at school. Bottom line I know when someone is not exactly being honest when talking car repair. I trust these guys as they are always up front and sensitive to the cost of things and that certainly helps us out while they are at school. Thanks for the great job !!!

I am VERY picky when it comes to who I allow to work on my vehicles. Harold and Randy and their cree have never failed to deliver. If I have an issue I just cant fix myself, they are the first ones I call. I know they will always be honest, and straight forward. They tell you up front what your options are and the price....and the price is fair. Their tires are excellent as well. They have made a lifelong customer here.

I was referred to h&r tire as they do plug patches. Had a nail in it easily spotted and marked for them. Had no wait time. I told him what I needed and he just smirked and said Yeah, well just see. As if I had no idea what I was taking about. I watched him pull my car around back and I waited for 30 mins in their lobby before I asked if I could go ahead and pay so I could leave when it was done. I was told there was a guy still patching it. All in all, was there a little over 45mins for a simple plug patch. Was unimpressed by the experience again. 3rd negative experience in a row. Will not go back again.

Been a long time HR tire customer. Like many of the others Compliants below I took my vehicle in and had all 4 brake pads replaced. After purchasing all new brake pads my trucks breaks were squeaking so bad I had people at gas stations telling me I need new brakes. I took my vehicle back to HR for them to inspect their recently changed brakes, they do. I leave again and brakes are still making A horrible sound. Third time taking my vehicle back, by appointment of course.... and they are 50 min late to even take a look at my vehicle. Just very poor customer service all around. I try to support local businesses but I can not continue to support HR tire.

I took my car in to H&R for an alignment (steering slightly out of track). I got a call an hour later saying that my inner & outer tie rod ends were frozen and they could fix it for around $500.I took it back home, put it on ramps, and aligned it myself in about 15 minutes. The rods were not rusted or frozen up. They had not even tried to align it - and if they did, Im not sure I trust a tech who cant even figure out a Torx bolt.I have used H&R in the past for mounting & balancing tires, but I am going to find a new shop.

I give this place 0 stars, but that wasnt an option. We have been customers for years, until yesterday. I will never go back again. I should have known better when I had to take my sons car back 2 times several months ago. We gave them another chance and again pulled out of the lot and turned around to take it back. The car was making worse noises than when I dropped it off. I was told someone test drove it but never mentioned there was anything wrong. They did repairs that werent asked, tried to charge us, then we were told that they would break the car back down and remove the parts that were replaced. I will never go back to this place again, as a matter of fact we will be taking it somewhere else to have it repaired next week. This place may be good for some, but not for us. Thanks a lot H&R, you have alost long time costumer.

I had an 8am appointment. Around 8:45 (after my truck sat on their lift for a half hour) I was informed that my tires were not loaded on their truck. Friendly and courteous staff. Honest mistake but no discount for my time wasted.

I have been here numerous times and Have come to expect fantastic service but even more importantly, reliable honesty. I recently went to a nearby tire specialist for a tire alignment (bough their 5 year deal) and when there I was told that I needed brakes replaced to the tune of $550. Wanting a second opinion that I could trust I went to HR and they told me that they could do the same for $250. Then when they brought my car into the shop they called me and said that none of it was even necessary. I went and got my car and was charged nothing for all their time. This is the place you want to go to be treated fairly.

I wish I had asked the guy his name, but he was SO SO POLITE and kind and genuinely intentional with me. I appreciated it a lot after having bad experiences at other car repair shops. Used to be great..Now theyre TERRIBLE..Too many screw yours to list..seriously..also my girlfriends grandma had the same experience after years of using them..Were all donegoing there..picture this..a 93 year old v woman leaves her car there to get it dialed for a long trip to Chicago..told them to go through it and make it road trip ready they have it to her 3 days later and said youre good to go..no charge which we thought was very strange..it turns out they didnt touch it..Tires needed replaced..brakes were metal on metal..radiator was leaking..and didnt even change the oil..all this work had to be performed at a random shop IN CHICAGO!! It was absolutely Negligent and a sweet 93 year old lady add her great grandchildren could have been hurt..Or Worse!! I ask you: Would you take YOUR GRANDMAS vehicle to them??? I didnt even go into how they completely messed up my car..MULTIPLE TIMES!!! WE WONT GO BACK..EVER

This place is all about customer service. You might find cheaper tires elsewhere, but youll end up paying more over time. Free rotations. They rarely charge me to fix flats. I wont buy tires anywhere else.

Staff here work hard to make sure you are happy and satisfied with your tires. I had a hard time finding the tires that I wanted on my F150 and these guys kept trying until I got a set that I was happy with. Very friendly, helpful, and they stand by their work.

Took my truck in and asked for an alignment. When I arrived at the shop later that day they told me “no charge”. My first reaction was “hey that’s awesome thanks!” Just to be disappointed by the list of “problems” I had. They said I needed a new lower ball joint, which I had replaced along with the upper control arms a month prior. It seemed as if they just parked my truck in a different spot and didn’t bother to touch it. My tires were still angled and unaligned, not very pleased with the result. The people inside are very kind though.

These guys dropped the ball.Usually their customer service is excellent. Scheduled a week in advance to have wheels aligned, rotated, and balanced. Showed up to our appointment early. Three hours later we finally left. They had managed to get the alignment done but wanted me to wait an additional 45 minutes to get the rest of the work done.I had mentioned all the work when I called to schedule the appointment. If your going here make sure they know your scope of work amd have logged it down. Too many other places around then to have to deal with this. Definitely do not recommend.

My 97 Toyota land cruiser recently had a blow out on my rear passenger Dunlop tire. I called H & R and spoke with Harold on my dads recommendation and I’m glad I did. I needed 5 tires since the spare rotates and Harold recommended the general grabber HTS, he gave me a price quote under his competitors, hooked me up with a 70 dollar rebate and get this; even changed out a broken wheel stud and lug nut, only charging me 2 bucks for the part. The tires ended up perfect after I got it back; quiet ride, no more vibration; my wife and I feel better about hauling our kids around. Harold and the H& R crew are awesome, dad was right….. my truck ended up in good hands.

Ive been using H & R Tire for over 5 years and I wouldnt trust any other place with my vehicles. They always treat me fair and shoot me straight while never trying to up sale me for BS I dont need.

They are the best guys around. Reasonable prices, friendly, and usually pretty quick even though its always busy there. Ive known them since I was a kid and I wouldnt go anywhere else. A+

I took my car in to get the front brake pads replaced, the oil changed and to fix a tail light. These guys did it quickly and for a great price. They even took my car to the gas station and put some fuel in for me. Ill be taking my car here for any and all maintenance required from now on.

I find that they are faster and better stocked than the chains.

This is my go to place to get new tires in Marin. They are very professional , efficient , and helpful. When I first came in they already started to look for other options for my tires for a cheaper option if I wanted. They didnt push the more expensive tires on me.

They took care of my emergency tire needs, without an appointment, quickly and efficiently.

Told me that my car would be ready Monday morning first thing as I had work and dropped off my car Friday. Arrived and my car was not ready.

Dealership quoted me $215 for front brakes. H&R did the job for $133. They were fast and friendly. Highly recommend and I will use them again for my auto service needs.

Have spent close to $2500 there over the past 6 months. The latest, was my 06 F-150 needing spark plugs. If you are not aware they are a nightmare on this year of the F-150s. Most of them break while trying to remove them. Quoted a price for the time it usually takes....well it ended up taking them a little over 8 hrs to complete the job. They stuck to their original quote without even a hint of a hassle. Could have been more than double what they actually charged me. Excellent, honest car shop. Hard to come by!!!

Took a tire there to get it repaired. The owner was super helpful, I told him I was on my lunch break and I could swing back by after work. They were super busy (full parking lot and bay full of cars), so he told me itd take a while for them to look at it and figure if they could repair it or I needed a replacement.He called me in about 2 hours and said theyd repaired it successfully. I went back after work and picked up my repaired tire and its working perfectly. They charged me about half or less of what I was expecting. All of the staff was super polite and friendly. 10/10 will be using their services again!

I was in Arkansas (from Minnesota) for my grandmothers funeral. On the way home from a special Girl Scout tribute to my Grandma, my tire was torn up by a crazy mutant rock. I was supposed to be leaving the next morning at 7am to return to Minnesota, but I was not going to try to drive 700 miles on my spare! I woke up the next morning and thought briefly about going to Walmart to get a new tire, but thought better of it and blindly pulled up to H&R Tire & Auto. I am so glad I did. Harry squeezed me in right away, apologetically confirmed that my tire was not repairable, and got my Subaru tired up and ready in less than an hour. The tire cost was reasonable and everyone was friendly and helpful. Thanks, H&R for helping me in my time of need!

Poor Service / Not Concerned About Your CarThey dont provide printouts of Alignment unless you ask (Never heard of this before). After alignment they told me to come back next week and they would provide a printout of finished measurements. Dont know if alignment was causing tire issues without pre-alignment measurements.When I asked for my keys they said they were in the ignition. I found my vehicle in the parking lot next to a busy road with the windows down and the keys in the ignition. Thankfully no one drove away in my vehicle and hopefully no one took anything out of it.Finally, looking at the mileage, someone used it to run an errand.

These guys are pitiful. After a change of brake pads they didnt tighten one of my wheels back properly and failed to put the proper amount of air in my one of my tires. Had a wheel come loose and fall off. Because of these jokers i had to replace lug studs and a tire after buying new ones. I even gave them the benefit of a doubt and went back. Still they replaced a tire and didnt add the proper tire pressure. 2 hours on average i waited just to get a tire mounted. Only to have them mess it up TWICE! I will not use them ever again. Slow , not very friendly service and poor workmanship. From my experience, the only thing these guys do well is order tires. At least they got that much right. So disappointing.

I WILL NOT BE BACK AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND H&R TO ANYONE. I arrived with a nail in my tire to have it removed and patched if needed. My vehicle was taken in the back. 10 minutes later it was returned to me and I was told I was lucky because the nail did not fully penetrate. I drove home to discover the nail was STILL in my tire. I took it to another tire shop to have the tire repaired. The nail had in fact penetrated. Lazy, horrible service at H&R. Nails are not safe to continually drive on.
