These guys are top notch. I was referred to Steve, the manager, by a mutual friend. They’ve been my go to for the past 5 years. Most recently they discovered some lifetime brake pads they had installed a couple years ago were wearing unevenly and replaced them free of charge, no questions asked. Midas got my car in at 1:30 on Friday, with no appt..they did the brakes on my honda crv, and alerted me to, two broken off motor mounts! they replaced those, & i was on my way! great service, great people!

I first brought in my 98 Honda Civic to the Midas on 7th in Eugene for a muffler replacement and it was impressive how quickly they were able to get me back on the road. I also felt they used a quality part and the price was very reasonable. I then came back about a week later with an older vehicle that I knew needed a lot of work on the brakes, wheel bearings, alignment and shocks. Again, they did wonderful work and the price out the door for the amount of back breaking work they did was very reasonable. The main thing is that both my cars are driving stronger then ever and the quality of their workmanship I feel is top notch.

I wont take my car anywhere else. The people who work here are friendly and knowledgeable. Tyson answered all of my questions and was very helpful. 10/10, I recommend this Midas!

I always go to Midas on 7th to get vehicle inspections done before I pull the trigger on buying a used car. I thought Midas was dealt with mufflers and brakes. I have been very pleasantly surprised to learn they can and do all Ive needed done including a great deal on tires, a complete tune-up and engine repair. All at what I feel are reasonable rates.

After dealing with many other repair shops in Eugene to troubleshoot what was wrong with my car, Midas was finally able to give me a clear answer. Ended up needing to get my alternator replaced and it exceeded my expectations. They worked with me on the price, got it done before I had to go to school and gave a complimentary check over of the entire vehicle. Which gave me so much peace of mind. Plus, unlike other places, they explained to me areas in my car that needed work in the future. No pressure for expensive add ons or to get anything but the necessities fixed then and there. Will definitely bringing my Volvo here again!

Absolutely incredible service. My vehicle’s rotors and break pads needed replacing and I was helped right away/same day service (no waiting weeks and weeks for an appointment!). Tyson at the front desk was very personable, professional and helpful. The whole service was finished quickly and competently, even done an hour sooner than they told me it would be. The brakes on my vehicle are now as smooth as can be, and on top of that I get free brake pads for life! I am a very satisfied customer and highly recommend Midas!

I’m a student here at the University of Oregon. When I came back from spring break, my battery in my car had died. I had AAA come and jumpstart it and they said that I just needed to charge it. I brought my car to a different shop thinking that they would just charge and give it back to me but they told me I needed a completely new battery. I brought my car to Midas because they carried the batteries that I had in my car, and I was still under warranty. When they took my car in they charged it and tested it themselves and found that I didn’t need a new battery it just hadn’t been charged at the other shop like they had said they would. The employees at Midas are incredibly helpful, trustworthy and professional. I’m hoping not to have any problems with my car in the near future, but if I do I will bring it to them and them only.

Came in for a routine oil change and asked for help with my check engine light. Not only did they fix my engine misfire same visit but were able to save me a trip to get tires somewhere else with a better deal and checked my alignment at no charge. Needed to get brakes adjusted and from wheel bearing packed today. Called around and no one could fit us in, til I called Tyson at Midas. We dropped the vehicle off around 11 AM and picked it up around 4 PM. The job was done to our satisfaction and under our estimated cost! They’re pretty good. Despite my reservations in general about chain mechanic outlets the Midas shop is excellent!

I went into Midas as a second opinion and boy am I glad I did! I was expecting to pay over $1,000 and only ended up paying a little less than $300. They made sure to document online with pictures and everything, so I can go back over what has been done to my car. I’ve never been able to have an actual electronic review of everything done to my car and Midas does just that! I will continue to use them from here on out! 10 out of 10(:

Went to another auto place that quoted me $8000 to fix the problem with my car, $3500 to slap a bandaid on it. Took it to Midas on 7th to get a second opinion and they ran the diagnostics, fixed it the next morning (I arrived very late in the afternoon) and has it running perfectly again for a few dollars above $900. I have been going to Midas for a few years now. The rep Tyson is always kind and professional, and theres nearly always a coupon for oil change or other services. Some places will try to upsell every little service add-on just because, but here its very evidence-based: they can show you pictures of any leaks, damage, wear, low battery readings, etc so you know what the problem is and dont get taken advantage of.

The experience was AMAZING. The gentleman that greeted us was beyond helpful. We had just driven into town from out of state and landed on a flat tire. The service was more than affordable and done in a very timely manner. I definitely Recommend coming to get service done by them. Thank you so much for all the help!

We have been bringing our cars here for about 10 years and we have always been happy with the service. Each time I have brought a car in for service I am greeted quickly and all of my concerns are addressed. The owner and the staff are all great.

I have used Midas for all my vehicles for many years. They have always provided excellent, efficient service and they dont search for additional items to repair.

Midas is consistently good. I like being able to get my tires rotated when I get my oil changed.

Long story short. Took car in January of 2020 had timing belt kit replaced and heads rebuilt with new head gaskets. Around mid-October started having a sporadic overheating problem. Took back to Midas twice couldnt fix the problem. told me that they needed to tear the motor down to determine if it was a head gasket and be warrantied. Dropped the car off they pulled the motor disassembled and determined that it was a stripped out headbolt and it was not their responsibility to warranty it. Wanted another $2,000 to fix the problem which I could not afford. Besides if they did head gaskets and theres a stripped out head bolt that should be warrantied they said no. Charge me another $400 for the teardown and gave me my car back with motor in pieces. Absolutely horrible customer service. Very little communication through the whole process I would never send somebody to Midas for any kind of work.

I went to Midas to get my brakes checked and they were very nice and professional. They spent time doing the analysis and then let me know that my brakes had another 5,000 miles before they would need any work. They were extremely honest and didnt even charge me for the brake check!.I would absolutely recommend them and will certainly go back to them. They are also in walking distance to Sweet Life so you can enjoy that while they work on your car, a bonus.

I needed two brake lights and was just passing through town. They were so sweet and helped me ten minutes before closing, put in my brake lights, and sent me off without charging me! I didn’t have a lot of time and was so grateful for their help. Thank you!

I got my brakes replaced and felt pretty good about that. The service was friendly and pretty quick. However, I also mentioned that my front tire had a slow leak and they said they would look at it and it would cost $25 to repair. After looking, they told me there wasnt a leak. However my tire continued to lose air and I was filling it up weekly. Finally just went to les schwab and they immediately found the leak and fixed my tire free of charge.

I am incredibly disappointed and upset with the amount of disrespect I received from Jason. Not only was I a paying customer, but also an insurance covered customer. The way Jason talked to me was condescending and he drove my car like he owned it, I would never drive my car the way he did when we took around the block to see if the sounds I had heard before were gone. There website shows they close at 5:30 and I arrived at 5:17 to pay and pick up my vehicle , but they had already closed up shop. Jason was in the office and opened door to speak to me, but refused to allow me to obtain my vehicle. I had to make another trip and take more time off work as well as pay another day for the rental I had just because he didnt want pull my vehicle out. I asked to speak with the manager and apparently that is Jasons position. Just wow. I then asked for higher up and I was told to call corporate. I later found out the owner of the company actual was there and I could have spoken to him. Great customer service guys! Ill have you know, I work for a Towing company and am close knit with a few others as well as a wrecking yard and will spread the word for this displeasing company taste left in my mouth from my experience. I will be calling to speak with the owner.

This shop saved our bacon! We were driving down from Seattle and our car started shaking and the check engine light was flashing. In less than an hour, they had a new ignition coil installed and back on the road for a reasonable price!

Over $1000 spent in less than a year and an $80 disagreement we were left with maybe its time to part ways . . .Yeah, I guess it is. Owner states they are trained to work on cars like its their mothers. Sadly, I dont think they like their mother. Things are great until theyre not. $80 was really worth losing a customer?

Good midas location. Went in for a repair and a week later had the same issue come up. I called the shop up and brought my car back in, they did a thorough re-examination and found a hidden issue, then quickly fixed it at no charge to me. Workers are friebdly and honest.

Quick, honest, friendly. That about sums up every persons wishlist when the drive into a car service station. I had my brakes flushed and fluids replaced as well as an oil change in 90 minutes. These boys know what they are doing and do it well.

I have gone into this Midas multiple times for oil changes and various other repairs. The staff has been very straightforward with what needed to be done each time I have gone in. They have been helpful in letting me know what needs to done to maintain my car given its maintenance history and the pricing that is involved. I have been very satisfied with the work done at this shop as well as the customer service I have received.

They had too-good-to-be-true deals but I went anyway. They were really nice on the phone but in person they would give price ranges that didnt make sense and varied drastically. Very vague diagnosis and they wouldnt listen to what I said about my car. They left my lights on which killed my battery. Sean was nice though.

I had full system replaced four years ago. Liked the Lifetime Warranty. Noticing my tailpipe flopping around, I went in for what I thought would be a simple hanger replacement. Nope, need all new system (half as long as last system lasted). What about lifetime warranty. Not tailpipe, exhaust pipe or labor. Total bill $30 less than previous system. Went to 2 other places for estimate. Both said, I wouldnt be in there if the system had been installed properly. They offered to repair for half of what Midas wanted. Will NEVER return to this shop. Incompetent !

Barely a star. The one helpful employee earned it. I got to stand in the pouring rain with my sister to assist my husband with a flat tire in the midas parking lot after they refused to help him. Within 5 mins of my sister and I arriving an attendant seeing two females standing in the rain armed with a jack and a crowbar rushed out to offer my husband assistance with a rolling jack and a torque wrench changing his tire in a matter of seconds. Mind you my husband had been sitting in the parking lot asking for help for more than a30 mins. We will not be going there again.

I was very skeptical to bring my vehicle to a shop and after doing some homework around town, was recommended Midas in Eugene. Had our front differential in our car go out on a trip through Eugene. Midas was only business open on Saturday after Thanksgiving. Team was very quick and awesome to deal with. Very good service. I give them all my car repair business, have been with them for six years. Get one free oil change for every four that you pay for.

I went in for an oil change, brake fluid flush and had them diagnose my heads up display. When I got my car back the stereo wouldnt work. I went back to them to ask what was touched and what might have caused it so I can figure out how to fix it. I wasnt asking for anything to be done about it or upset (things happen). All I wanted was a run down of what was done, panels that were opened etc, so I can know where to look. The manager Jason was very rude about it. He refused to look at the car or answer any questions (guilty conscious I guess). He also wanted to charge me a $100 to check the car in. I tried to assure him I wasnt looking for any trouble, I just wanted to know what happened so I can get this fixed. He didnt budge. So I took it to Brads Car Tunes. They took a look at it and knew instantly that someone at Midas unplugged the battery while the car was running. Thats a pretty boner move and I would have liked to know that. They fixed it and didnt even charge me (I tried to pay them). Avoid Midas! If they do something stupid with your car no matter how nice you are about it they will throw you under the bus and not even want to talk to you.

I dont have that much of knowledge about cars and Ive taken my car to fix it. They first overpriced the parts that need to be changed, and also they do not have appropriate customer service at all. They made me wait for too long while theyre many of them who arent busy around me. But to be fair, their work might be good, but theres something simple called a CUSTOMER SERVICE !! So the bottom line is find another place unless you dont care about how much to spend (THEY SUCK YOUR POCKET!!).Good Luck!!

Ive always had great experiences going in there for routine oil changes and I got new tires there last year as well. They treat me very well. Jason, who is the manager there, always goes over with me what the tech found (with photos).

Went in for a oil change, using coupon. They didnt rotate our tires, when asked WHY our tires werent rotated, Was told that becauae we had Custom rims they would have to CHARGE US EXTRA! Not true to their words, fraudulent in advertisement, very RUDE to us, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS... this was our second time going here for oil change, and our LAST! I highly RECAMOND going ANYWHERE ELSE FOR OIL CHANGES.... you get treated better and professional ANYWHERE ELSE! NOT HERE!

Upon arriving, they said I didnt have an appointment but if I left my car with them, they would get get to it in a few hours. I went in to ask about some things that I needed done on my van, the front desk guy (who I cant remember the name of but hadnt seen before) stared at me like I was a moron the whole time I was speaking, wouldnt give me quotes on basically anything because he kept repeating I was wasting my time, and then gave me a long-winded explanation on why cars burn oil that I didnt ask for.Um, I guess if you have the time and money you could do those things...Youre wasting your time replacing that.It didnt come across as helpful suggestions to help me save money, he sounded vaguely annoyed as if me coming in with a list of my own suggestions about my car was tiresome as I clearly didnt know anything about cars and now he had to set me straight, good god the horror. My car can be a little annoying to work on, and I definitely felt like they were purposely trying to get me to go somewhere else just so they wouldnt have to work on it. Left feeling insulted.

My wife took our Ford F-250 in because it had an exhaust leak. The Tech reported that the Y tube needed to be replaced, and Ford (Top selling brand of truck in the U.S.A. for 25 years) had discontinued the part. They found one in Florida, and said it would be 5-6 days to repair, and cost $1100 dolloars.I found a High Performance replacement part on-line for $80 bucks in three minutes.My wife is no fool, and took the truck to Prairie Road Automotive and had it replaced for $350 dollars.I will NEVER recommend Midas to anyone, nor go there myself.

GREAT SERVICE!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I went to Midas yesterday to get my break pads and rotors changed out. Ive had a tough time finding a mechanic I feel is fair and honest- previous negative experiences being at VW dealership, Joes Garage (who didnt even make it past the phone call, they were SO RUDE) and a few others I felt were on the expensive side. I stayed at the shop for two hours and the servicemen were also very respectful and helpful to others that came in during that time. I am always skeptical of places who have such competitive prices, but I was very pleased with the service at Midas! Do not let the less expensive rates trick you! They even took me into the garage and showed/ explained the issues prior to my consent to moving forward so I knew exactly what my car needed- no surprises or pressure. I will definitely be going here as long as I live in Eugene.

Called in to get a quote to have the timing done on my 2000 Caliber. First off the “technician” I was talking too didn’t know you could adjust the timing on an Xterra. I had to explain to him that it had a distributor. Then after an argument over whether or not it could be done he decided that he didn’t want to do the timing because another mechanic had done the knock sensor recently. Moral of the story is they only want your business if you are having expensive work done. Not regular maintenance. Don’t tell them if you have had another mechanic work on it either.

Went in for an oil change as my regular mechanic was too busy. Midas pointed out that 2 of my motor mounts were busted. I did not believe them, so I took my car to my mechanic and they concurred. Not only did my mechanic fail to catch this problem, but when I pointed it out, they wanted over $800 to fix it. I took my Acura TL back to Midas and they fixed the problem for under $450.Midas is now the mechanic I go to for all my auto needs.Its good to know when you bring in your car for maintenance, that youll be treated honestly and fairly. Ive always been treated well by all of the Midas staff. Thanks Folks!

Today, I went on the Midas website to book an appointment to have a simple oil change performed on my wifes Prius. It has been several years since I last used Midas because our vehicles all had extended maintenance warrantys. I filled out the online request and waited for a call that took less than 15 minutes. Jason from Midas called said hello a few times then hung-up. He called back. I kept saying hello 3-4 times during both calls. On the 2nd call Jason explained that the time I had requested was not available and only an 8:00 am time was open. So I accepted the time. I told Jason I just wanted the basic advertised price of $19.99. Jason replied that the price was actually $24 and change. Thinking perhaps that Jason was not from Oregon (no sales tax) I asked why the increase, it is clearly advertised as $19.99. If the cost is more then put the amount but dont advertise what one cannot deliver.Jason stated there was a disposal fee of $5 and that raises the price. So why advertise $19.99 if the disposal fee is not included just say the price is $24.99. For me this was another bait-and-switch tactic still used by many retailers including Midas. Immediately after I suggested that comment Jason became upset and then said he was not interested in my business and abruptly hung-up. And that is his right. Retailers today can turn customers away. I was not rude, did not raise my voice, or use expletives. The oil change for my wifes Prius was a test run for me. My GMC Sierra needs new brakes. Depending on the outcome of the oil change I was prepared to make an appointment for a much large expense; a brake job at $179.00 plus fees (obviously).Now some people including Jason might not think that $5 is that big of a deal. Well, it is when one is retired and living on a fixed pension. I know exactly to the dollar how much I can spend per month in my budget. The other point is ethics, and honest business practices. I would have paid the $24.99 if it had been the advertised price. When I bought the Prius it was sold as advertised, I did not get to the finance manager and then have them say, oh, there is also a $300 non refundable fee not included in the price.With the countless other car care centers available in Eugene and Springfield I will simply take my business to a retailer that actually wants my business.

Here is my story with Midas:I used to take my vehicle to JiffyLube for oil change and it was okay (nothing special about it). A friend of mine recommended Midas because they also do an inspection for free. I always use synthetic oil that runs 6K miles, but after the first time I changed my oil at Midas my vehicle ran out of oil after 3K miles and I was told that its engine consumes lots of oil and I have to go there and add extra oil for 15 bucks (Lets trust them). Also they told me to change its Serpentine belt and they asked for $40 while it was $20 or so in Napa and I asked for the price match and they accepted (fair enough).However after I changed the serpentine belt the Air Conditioner wasnt cooling anymore! I took my vehicle to them and after 15 minutes inspection they told me that the compressor is broken and it costs $700!!! Of course I didnt trust them and asked another mechanic to look at that and he said the compressor clutch is loose and after more accurate inspection he noticed that somebody took out the bolt from the clutch! (The clutch is near the serpentine belt) He found a new bolt and everything is fine now. It was so simple that he even didnt charge me for that.

I went in for a squeaking-noise-diagnosis. The guy from Midas told me that noise was some rust on a rotor. He also said that spending the 300 bucks it would cost to fix it was kind of pointless seeing as the car is completely safe. I was shocked! The first time an auto mechanic ever recommended that I save my money. They also went over my car with a fine-toothed comb and checked to make sure everything was in working order. Will never step foot in this place. They are trying to charge me $150 for 2 rear brake rotors on my car. Those cost them MAYBE $20, then add the labor they were going to charge me on top of that and its ridiculous. I told the guy his prices were asinine and he got offended cause he didnt understand the big word I just used.

Midas is quick and efficient and does a good job.

My experience today was absolutley rediculous i walked in no one greeted me. The guy i had to speak to was a dick. And to top thing off they wanted to charge me 60 dollars to put on a gasket on my exhaust where the downpipe and axle back meet. 2 bolts no custom fitting or stress required im disabled and cant get on the ground to do it my self. This is a poor excuse for a business.

I brought my 05 trailerblazer into this midas and had them do a oil change they were fast and also did a great courtesy inspection and were very in depth on possible issues or up coming maintenence that may be needed. i will bring my cars back to them.... very friendly people.

Midas has totally been there for us. They fixed the exhaust on our Saturn ION after Waynes Garage messed it up. They diagnosed a gas filler neck issue when Guaranty Chevrolet botched a warranty repair. They took care of my Nissan Pathfinder today for $150 when Lithia Nissan was going to pile on $800 of stuff I didnt need. Also - Jason is totally cool. And I have 100% confidence in him when he tells me what the car needs, because I know hes not going to try to tack on unnecessary charges or sell me something I dont need. That is why we come back to them for all our services on both cars, whether its something big like exhaust and brakes, or just an oil change. They treat their customers with honesty and respect (even if the truth hurts!), which is something that not a lot of places around here do.
