(Today 9/24/2021)I talk to the corporate number and they tell me that I can go into the store to exchange a screen protector because it was defective out of the box. I get to the store and the rep said he wouldnt do it and went in the back and the store manager came out and said they wont do it and that I should call Zagg or call Verizon (keep in mind this store is a corporate Verizon location). I call corporate number after leaving and they said that they could have exchanged it for me in store. Clearly the manager is rigging the system to only allow items to go for profit for her location only and that is the only reason she refused to help me and corporate confirmed they could have exchanged it twice. Very poor customer service for this location.

I work in customer service myself and while the ladies were nice, it was terrible service. The kid in front of us was having trouble and was on the phone for 30 plus minutes and rather than helping another customer, (there’s only 2 employees) she sits there on her phone. I work in a small store and to get stuff moving you have to have customers who need to work stuff out do their thing and help the other customers instead of making the others wait 1+ hours.

My experience was great. Customer service here was excellent! Super helpful and was determined on getting me the plan that worked best for me. Staff was super friendly. Not quite sure how to spell the womans name who helped me ( I believe it was Maudy)but she was set on giving me the best option for my price range. Both women were great and willing to go the extra mile. Definitely glad I took my business here

We had an appointment today at noon to purchase new phones. When we arrived at 11:50, the door was locked and the inside roll down shutter was partially closed. We knew they opened at 11:00am and verified that on the store hours sign on the door. We knocked and in a couple of minutes a man came from the side of the parking lot and said they were closed. He said he worked there but corporate closed them because there wasnt any help. He was soon joined by another man and together they entered the store and pulled the roll down shutter down. You would think two employees would be able to handle a pre-scheduled appointment. You would also think that a large company like Verizon would be able to call, text or email, or at least COMMUNICATE they needed to cancel the appointment. How very unprofessional. Get it together Verizon.

These poor ladies have been running their buns off to help customers. I walked in at 7:30 pm (they close at 8) and they couldnt even get to me until 9:15 but the sales person wasnt agitated towards me or treating me hostile. Cathy was helpful and patient and willing to discuss the differences in phones and options. We even laughed and joked around. Despite her 12 hour long day with no lunch, she was very helpful and kind.

Was told to come directly to this location to disconnect my recently deceased brothers phone. Have spent the last 2 hours trying to do what I was assured was done yesterday. I should have gone to the North Olmsted store instead of the Elyria location.

I went here once to add my wife to my plan. The math wasn’t adding up so I said scrap the whole deal. and they made it out like I was being paranoid and an a-hole. Come to find out (from calling the corporate hotline) they were double charging us a line access fee.Today I go there to buy a new phone and they tell me I need an appointment and they were booked today. The only people in the building were three employees standing around doing nothing, but they were booked.

We needed a new phone so we went up to the Elyria location. The door was locked and we were told we needed an appointment but it doesnt say on the website. We were told we could wait but the people with appointments get in first. We wanted to see and get some information on phones that were available. We were told that we could order it online and do store pickup. How do you know what to order if you cant see the phone? Either you do or do not need an appointment.

Very personable and competent staff that tried to resolve problems with my phone, but as it turns out I needed to replace my six year old phone. Staff dealt with safety issues relative to Covid restrictions and were considerate of customers . Very effective in meeting my needs to keep costs to a minimum. 5 of 5 stars .

I understand we are in trying times and hours change and we are blessed they are open. Although I have spent 1.5 hours this morning trying to reach someone at the store. Due to my work phone is not working. Stayed on hold numerous time to be transferred to their Corporate Office and they were of no help what so ever. I will now be going to the Sheffield Store as they answered on the first call and can assist with my needs today. Elyria Store lost a customer due to poor customer service and not answering their phones. Cant be that busy that you cant answer phones.

Consistently wasting my time. Visited the store to check on a warranty replacement and was told one would be sent out. Almost a week later and I find out the order was never processed. I wish I could say the issue is only with this store, but Verizon seems to have given up making their customers happy. I have been on the phone for an hour already and still have not had the issue resolved.

Always had excellent service. Been going here for years. A corporate store always seems worth the extra drive. Pass up those non-corporate stores. Always check beforehand if a store is corporate or not. Give yourself extra time in case they are busy.... although can usually get someone in a reasonable amount of time.

Worst verizon store Ive ever been too. Tried calling several times then drove to the store because no one answered the phone. They said we dont answer the phone here. Will NEVER use that store again. And then tried to buy a phone outright and they charged me an upgrade fee. I said Im not upgrading. I still had to pay an upgrade fee because Matt said thats the only way we sell them. Even the Verizon rep I had on the phone said Matt didnt know what he was doing. Ive been with Verizon for 19 years. And thats the worst Ive EVER been treated in one of their stores. DO NOT USE THIS STORE. Next stop facebook to tell this story.

If you dread having to travel to a store for an issue because of the fear of how youll be treated, lack of merchandise, lack of knowledge by employees, the wait to be attended to, or the general nightmare of a store visit, then put on some comfy shoes and bring your own camp chair for the lobby because this store meets and exceeds that expectation. I have been in THIS store when doors are locked before the posted closing hours, customers have walked out before being seen, and employees have talked to people with a patronizing and condensing attitude. Fair warning a visit here may leave you feeling really stupid for sticking with such a high $ company that has hands-on employees who could care less that your service contributes to THEIR employment. Call customer care whenever possible instead, go only as a last resort, and maybe try a different location.

Buyer beware! Went in to change my plan tonight, a salesman stated that I would get the lowest rate if I added a Hum to my plan. Sounded fishy, but he stated it was because of bundling. Okay, a half hour later I realized I was dooped, returned the Hum unopened - $50 restocking fee! Yeap, I got taken; another lesson learned, never trust a salesperson motivated to rip you off. Good news my plan went down by another $10.

So today I was assisted by a young lady whos been awesome every time Ive needed something...she never pushed me to spend more money and really worked at accommodating my needs at that moment and today after I said it was time for a new phone, she helped me make an educated and cost effective choice!!! As drywall contractor I put phones to the test and with her knowledge of products available plus not wanting an 1100.00 phone that I dont need...So I ended up with a great phone thats shatter proof and waterproof...Im way stoked THANK YOU PAM!!! aloha and maholos!!!

One of the store managers Cathy Mudge, told me my iPhone ex was up for upgrade and that all of my bills paid off and put me into an RX iPhone. I repeatedly asked her if she was sure it was paid off as I bought it from the Apple store. She said no problem!... and I made her sign off on the receipt when I purchased the RX that the iphone X traded in was totally paid off30 days later I received not only the Verizon bill but an Apple bill through Citizens loan as well !I repeatedly tried to get a hold of her and the Verizon store but they refused to resolve the issue. I spoke to Verizon finance so who has had difficulty reaching the store. Finally Verizon financial told me that there’s no way she could be able to see whether the Apple device was paid off if it was bought through an Apple store! I said that is the issue that they need to resolve since they took the phone and told me everything was paid off. It is still under dispute

Poor customer service, no integrity, no follow through, NEXT time will go to Different Verizon store. Lori the sales person was supposed to call me about merging my account. She never called. I ended up having to call corporate several times to get anything done. Manager needs to get a grip on the staff. If I ran my business this way I would have no business.

Immediate service, first time ever at a Verizon outlet. The greeter took my phone to the counter, diagnosed my silly issue (how would I know how it went into re-set mode), cleaned up wasted memory and I was on my way in less than 10 minutes.

My personal experience with this store has NEVER been bad. However the customer service that my girlfriend and I have received through the customer service number has been an embarrassment to the company. I do not want to share all of the details because it does not matter just keep in mind that every time you call the customer service number you will get a person who tells you something and when you ask for a supervisor they are always gonna call you back which never happens. So when you call again and get a new support specialist they do not know what your talking about as far as the last call and all they can do is forward it to a supervisor who will call you back. Which again never happens. I have been in this same cycle for several days now. It all stemmed from a simple mistake of dates for contracting being wrong during the origination of the contract, seems like an easy fix, but not for Verizon because corporate is so worried about pinching every penny that they forget about customer satisfaction.

I stopped in this store to purchase a IPhone 6 charger. I walked in a guy asked what I needed I told him he got the charger, rung it up paid for it and off I went. When I got home my son told me thats not a Iphone6 charger and he was right. Next opportunity I got I stopped in to return it. No problem, box was unopened I had my receipt I was good to go. NOPE. It had been 15 days since my purchase and they will NOT return anything after 14 days. Yes even with a reciept! Terrible way to do business. After calling Verizon and arguing with the manager he returned my $. I told him it would be better customer service to verbally tell customers about 14 day rule instead of having it in small print at the bottom of receipt.- buyer beware.

This store has some very bad employees, very rude, made me walk out of the store . I went in to buy a new I phone and this (female) employee would not sell it to me. Wanted me to sign up for a contract which I did not want. You think spending $600 to $700 for a phone she could of been more helpful. Guess the Apple store will get my business. Absolutely terrible customer service on a whole nother level, this is a story so buckle in children, (or skip for summary at end) and let me tell you why I am outta Verizon as soon as my contract is up. Not only did they lie TWICE but we ended up losing 100 dollars, because of it also, surprise our contract gets extended, twice in their mess of what they call customer service. Lets flashback now, we come in for new phones, we are promised a upgrade after 1 year on our two year contract (starting in November) but then we come in one year later and they tell us we have to wait a total of 2 years (1 more year). Well thats weird considering it wasnt just me who heard the one year upgrade we were promised but hey whatever we arent even at the good parts yet. In apology we got this deal from the manager all we had to do was BUY 2 new phones, a tablet, and 300 dollars in accessories and we can get off our old contract and onto some new one, you for real Verizon? Hold on Im still laughing at this offer to this day, I could terminate my contract and start a new one for cheaper. Deal my white boy posterior region! Alright lets continue kids, (mind you from here on this is Verizon as a whole not this store that did this) next we try to upgrade our data plan, and we brought up the Sprint switch and save deal they had going on, so the lady on the phone says we can have 6 gb of shared data if we pay 10 dollars extra a month, we asked profusely about it cause you know, been lied to already. But it was very clear 10 dollars extra a month, easy pezzy. SIKE EXTRA 100 DOLLAR FOR US COURTESY OF VERIZON AT THE END OF THE MONTH. Alright now Im just wondering how in the name of Cthulhu are yall still a business you straight up lied twice, didnt even try to hide the lies friggin jokes. Oh not only did we get our contract extended when we upgraded to the 6 gb (understandable extension) when we explained how you guys bent us over and screwed us, guess what? We had another extension in order to go back down to our plan! Who messed up? You guys. Who paid? Us. So some advice for anyone reading, go to Straightalk or any other pre paid service before these clowns, sure the pre paid phones customer service is hard to understand but they are still better then Verizon and a lot cheaper (45 dollars a month for unlimited everything at least for Straightalk which is who I was with before) and you get the same cell service as Verizon, no joke I have personal experience with both, and you could just look it up to see for yourself.Short version: Lost 100 dollars from straight up lies both in store and from Verizon as a whole. Going back to Straightalk with my phone as soon as my extended contract is up cause Verizon is one of the worst companies Ive ever had to deal with. Dont go here ever, youll regret it, I promise you that.

This store has horrible customer service. I have had to come here twice to resolve issues on my phone, and both times there was a 10+ person wait. It was also difficult to find anyone to check me in. As I waited, I noticed many workers standing in the back not assisting anyone. This seems to be a common occurrence every time I come into a Verizon Wireless Store.
