Yesterday I stopped in at this store to switch to a new phone and needed assistance. Michael Montoya, the assistant manager, and waited on me and he was SO AWESOME! He is by far the best Verizon employee I have ever worked with in any store in any state. Helpful, patient, knowledgeable, kind and thorough. He rocks!

A bad experience years ago at another authorized reseller made me wary of coming in here. I just needed a SIM card and an activation but they were SO helpful, not pushy at all, and even managed to save me money! I’ve always purchased phones online directly from Verizon but I’ll be back here next time I need a phone. Great customer service!

Scott the Manager was extremely helpful. I went into the store to upgrade my phone but they were out of stock. Even though I wasnt going to buy anything, Scott looked into my account and found that he could save me $20 on my monthly bill. Awesome guy, great service. A+++

Just went to the Verizon in Durango at the location near City market. All the staff was amazing! If you need a new phone or help fixing your phone go see the manager Scott! He is the best Verizon person I have ever delt with! Thank you for all the help and the new phone Scott!

I just purchased an iPhone 12 pro at the Town Plaza store. Scott, the store manager, assisted me. He was professional, knowledgeable, efficient and thorough in explaining the nuances of my new phone. In addition, he went to great lengths to find any promos to help lower the cost of my phone. I couldnt be more pleased! A great experience!!

While on vacation my old phone died. I got to this Verizon store at 6:15 pm. Pedro tried to fix it, but it was beyond repair.The store closed at 7:00 pm. Pedro stayed late to get me into a new phone. Even though it was past closing time he took his time. He gave me a quick tutorial.Pedro even gave me some great “must see” sites while on vacation.Very courteous and knowledgable.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I have been working with Michael M for many years and with 3 different phones. He has always been fantastic to work with. He has incredible knowledge, and a wonderful patient way with customers! I know I can drop in and get help any time, and walk out feeling confident my problem is all taken care off. Verizon blessed to have him as an employee.

I came in for help with my Samsung device and pedro was and pedro was phenomenal. He was very polite he was very polite and helped me with all of the problems I had yet help me with all of the problems I had. Pedro should get pedro should get a promotion to manager.

I went here to upgrade my iphone 5 (sad day) to the new iphone SE. I worked with Bailey who was super nice and helpful. She took care of the whole upgrade process and was able to sync everything over from my old phone. Very stoked on my experience. Thanks Bailey!

We went to get a phone switched over and Scott was very helpful. He did a great phone switch considering he did a phone to phone switch. He helped us while he also helped other customers so it was nice that we didn’t have to wait in a line. He got us right in there. I definitely recommend this store. The service is great!

Chassity was such an amazing worker. She was very helpful and warm towards us. She was so kind and answered all of our questions with no hesitation. Scott absolutely killed it. Had a billing issue, an account settings issue, AND a SIM issue. He had all three handled in moments.Customer service was fantastic and unlike most phone places the entire experience was pleasant, store was clean and employees were friendly and welcoming.

I decided to switch from Straight Talk to Verizon due to local coverage and prices. Chasity was extremely pleasant, and extremely patient. She worked overtime and helped my wife and I through the whole process. I could not possibly be more grateful for someone as helpful and kind as her.

Was having issues with AT&T and decided to switch to Verizon. I was told to go see scott at the town plaza location and he has gone above and beyond to help me and switch me over to Verizon. I would recommend if you need service or have issues with Verizon go see scott in the town plaza location. He definitely knows what he is doing and has the best customer service out of any store I have ever been to.

After having trouble transferring information from my defective phone to a replacement, Scott (Store Manager) happily completed the process even though neither phone was purchased at his store. During and after the process, Scott worked with me to personalize my phone to improve its performance based on my use. His knowledge is invaluable - he is my new go-to Verizon Representative!! The store is pleasant to be in, and offers everything I need. Glad he offered to help!!!

One hundred percent reccomend this store. Rarely do I walk away from a store like a cell phone store and feel like I just had a REALLY pleasant experience! They were helpful, got me what I needed and I had an incredibly pleasant conversation in the time I was there(had to switch over phones so was there for a bit) with the two young ladies that helped me. Overall good shopping and personal experience!

Fantastic customer service

I was in Durango after wrapping up the CO trail and needed help with my SIM card, which had fried out a week and a half before on the trail. I was quite pleased to see this Verizon store right next to the laundromat I was using and walked in. They had me set up with a new SIM card and a functional phone within ten minutes. Super quick, super helpful, super nice, just a great experience. Thanks for the help!

Scammed us with empty promises. We went in on Black Friday to take advantage of the deals that day. The sales associate made it very clear what the discounts would be, and the store manager convinced us to open a business account rather than a personal account because it would be more advantageous. After we switched from ATT to Verizon it has been nothing but headaches and a lack of benefits that we were told wed get. Very disappointed.

Before this COVID-19 pandemic we switched our business phones from AT&T to Verizon. Porting numbers here and there has not been easy. Today I went into the store, Scott although busy with another customer did not great but did ask how he could help. You see I had been on the phone with a customer service agent and it came time to port the last remaining number to an Ipad, I needed a verizon SIM card, that this agent would have overnited (mind you no cost). Because this location is open, I decided to walk over rather receiving mailed items (covid precautions). After being asked to leave a review, as this location does not offer the same service, apparently at no cost .... NOTE: Giving a five and not a four is because I accomplished my mission not because I felt as welcomed 👍🏽

The reasons I believe in this Verizon location:Mariah.I have an international business that needed numerous iPhones and took a chance at the Town Plaza location. Mariah was my Verizon Representative that provided all of my business and tech solutions.Many times, I have gone through the process of upgrading to a new phone or even setting up and entire company with cellular service that is very similar to standing and suffering at the DMV in a big city. Not with Mariah…Mariah somehow handled setting up my numerous phone and upgrade requests simultaneously, meanwhile answering random Verizon phone calls and training a new employee. Mind-blowing to say the least. As a long-time business owner and large company executive this is what I look for in leadership.Leadership is generally a natural gift -- and Mariah is a natural leader. The late Founder and CEO of Apple said to all of his employees “We don’t sell phones or laptop computers, or even technology – We sell an experience…”My experience was top-notch, insomuch as to let Verizon know that Mariah is an incredible talent that needs to lead/manage far, far more than she currently is -- I would hire her in a minute…!Sincerely,Shane

I lost my phone in the woods and was desperate for a quick replacement. We came across the Verizon store in Town Plaza. Mariah assisted us and was a life saver. She was efficient, professional and super quick. Mariah got me set up with a new phone and downloaded all my apps and photos off the iCloud.I was set to go within a short time, it was practically unbelievable. Gabby was super helpful, very patient, and we got great deals! She was very courteous and professional! Thankful she was our CSR for the purchase!My only fret is, when you buy a new phone they dont come with a charging block, which she mentioned. The charger chord is not compatible with the traditional USB port then C port on opposite end. Both ends are C port. So, we left with dead phones and no way to charge them. So probably just us being newbie upgraded phone users and unaware of the change. So, just be careful when buying a new phone. They dont come with blocks and you may not have the correct one. We purchased the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. Otherwise great service from Gabby and the rest of the team that assisted! Heres to better phone service now that we have Verizon!
