Jamie was receptive and helpful in guiding us in picking out the plans and phones that will meet our individual needs. Our daughter is moving to be a teacher across the state and needed reliability. Whereas our son needs involve gaming, music. My wife and I need photo, video storage. Jamie took over where our previous store visit left off with Anthony, who was also remarkable in his quality of customer service under extreme situation of many customers waiting for a rep. Both men treated us like we were their only customer and made us feel valued. Our thanks to both outstanding Verizon reps. We look forward to receiving our new phones.

Watched an employee on his phone while customers were waiting. When another customer asked if he was free to assist them, he got snippy and said that he was not and that the sales staff would help them. He then proceeded to stay on his phone and not help a single customer. Granted, it may not be his job, even if he is wearing Verizon attire, but he could have been a hell of a lot more polite when announcing he could not help them.

Dont bother visiting. Youll never get through the line to talk to anyone unless you spend at least 2 hours waiting. Walk in, look around the store, figure out what you want, and then go home and order it online. The staff were nice and professional and spent lots of time with the people they were working with. After waiting 30 mins for one of the 4 staff working, only 2 people completed, opening places for the 2 of the 5 groups in front of us.

Very poor service.. was there for 5 minutes looking around and not one staff member acknowledged us or offered any greeting or suggested wait time .. left there and went to TCC Verizon on Arterial road and was immediately helped with a very sincere staff!

Had a wonderful salesman and a super helpful trainee help us today. Went in to upgrade a phone and he found a great deal for a trade in and a discount on a tablet and accessories! Great job showing the features and benefits of the different phones and how the tablet with help my boyfriend when hes trucking. Great service!!

If I could give zero I would. We had a terrible time at this store. It took them one in a half hours and they still could not get us phones, get us hooked up or even have us pay for everything. We were no closer to being done a hour and a half later. So frustrating and the sales people were so rude. We told them we were having a hard time standing there, my husband had an injured knee. We finally gave up.and walked out and then they were really snide to us like we had slighted them somehow. We knew that the sales lady didnt know what she was doing. We will never go into that store again. They treat customers terrible.

One of the most frustrating customer service experiences ever. I was waited on by the manager. Tap his fingers on the table top and told me I needed to hurry up and get the pin number from the phone on my account as you only get so many tries. Is that really a customers problem? Then he asks if the phone was unlocked. He did not explain the phone needed to be unlocked from the previous carrier.The story is to long - however - after making 2 trips in one day (2 + hours I will not get back) - my phone service is still not activated. Rude, disrespectful, and shoulder shrugging - not my idea of customer facing employee. Save your self the misery of setting up an appointment at this location. Better off to drive to Wisconsin or dump Verizon and go to the next worse one - AT&T.

I have been with Verizon for years and have many good experiences. Recently I have had problem with my iPhone and have had trouble getting my insurance phone. Corona virus sure is t helping getting into the store. Today I had a meeting in store and a helpful gentleman named Alex put his thinking cap on and made something happen for me. Went here because both iPhone 12s on my plan were having problems. The lady working refused to let us in and came out holding the door open and refused to help us. Other people came and she let them in immediately to help them. When my husband tried getting her to come back to help us she straight up refused. Also, they’re so worried about covid, yet somehow it’s ok for this same employee to be hugging a manager. I’ll be switching. I’m not paying for non existent customer service and phones that don’t work. 👌🏻

Verizon lost my business forever, the salesman outright lied! When Bill came,MUCH higher than he quoted and the discounts he said I qualified for, not there. Only 14 days to cancel and $50/phone restocking fee that they failed to enter correctly so 3 weeks later I get a bill for the phones! Upon returning to the store, rep and manager were no help (couldnt call out to customer service, really!?) As I became more frustrated manager used my frustration as a way to kick me out. (They didnt have a problem calling out when I was becoming a customer but once I canceled, no help)

I have been a customer of this location for the past 12 years. Disappointed in the service that I received today, would be an understatement. I was not even let inside the door (yes, I was wearing a mask), when there was only 2 other customers in the store. So I am standing outside the door while the Verizon employee held the door open blocking me from getting inside and every question I asked about improving my phone’s reception and even upgrading my current phone to the new iPhone 12 was shot down as if I didn’t even matter. Cherry on top was when I was mid question about preordering the new phone, I had the door shut in my face. I went to the other store on the north west arterial. Spoke with Brittany there and she more than apologetic on behalf of the dodge street location, and helped me figure out solutions for reception issues and other questions I had. My only regret is not getting the employees name at the dodge street location because he needs a review on his customer service training.Avoid the dodge street location if at all possible the NW Arterial is way more helpful and friendly.

I’m a recent Sprint convert after 15+ years with them. I’ve been absolutely amazed with the customer experience at the Dubuque Verizon store. Everyone is super helpful, patient, honest, and courteous. Special mentions to both Paige and Vince. They’ve gone well above and beyond expectations and deserve to be recognized. I am writing this review for one reason alone - Paige. Give that woman a raise.Paige is smart, capable, HONEST, and relatable. I stopped in to Verizon for help on an issue getting data added to my plan, and Paige listened, sympathized, and went above and beyond to not only fix the issue, but to get me a new SIM card to make sure it doesnt happen again. I am SO happy I stopped in when I did and got to meet Paige. She is an amazing part of the team. I cannot recommend enough - Paige, Paige, Paige!

Wyatt definitely needs more training. We transferred a couple post pay accounts and he completely messed them up. We sat in the store for 4.5 hours while he tried to fix it. Paul the manager did not care and was unwilling to document my complaint. Its kinda sad because he was the general manager. I would definitely not go to this particular store. They were very unprofessional and not very knowledgeable. Buyer beware.

Verizon just wants to sell more phones, accessories and higher priced plans. Even though, after 3 hours of calls Verizon Level 2 Tech Support had set an appointment for me with a Tech Specialist at this location... They dont have any Tech Support Staff at this location.Verizon fails to tell you that Pay As You Go plans dont let you transfer Apps, Photos, Texts, Voicemail, and not even all Contact Information to another phone. Saved passwords are also lost. Tech Support & Customer Service Direct Lines close at end of Verizon Direct ( Corporate) Business Day.Also, not advertized is that at the end of this year a 4G LTE phone that doesnt have Advanced Voice or Voice over 4G will stop working!!! My phone is already not working 80-95% of the time for many months. Even calls to Voicemail, Verizon Support, and to Check My Balance get dropped or dont connect!I called the store before going over and after being on hold twice was told I could be transferred to another option... I got some random persons personal phone! 👿😲

Hello, Guys, I wanted to share my experience with Verizon Store on Dodge Street I have been coming to the store to get a phone, but with repayment arrangement(contract) takes time but the employees in the Verizon store one specific named (Tanja ) are making it hard by taking their time with serving customers, also they are disrespectful to the Customer and kick them out when they feel they being told what to do or maybe racists after showing my non american passport got different attitude and telling the customer to leave and the manager wont talk to the customer and agree with her employee also, tell a lay to kick the Customer Manager name is (Piage) The customer service is not respect anyone who outside of Country why Should I give respect if you dont give any to me. Verizon is the most respectful place I have ever been see their self as top company with good customer service they dont care the employees and what they have done after I filled complaint is only apologize and I cant buy the phone and doesnt matter I can buy anywhere except here where racists work in Verizon

Verizon wireless Dubuquen IA was horrible. Wild incompetence combined with a who cares attitude. They wasted sooo much of my time. How long should it have taken? An hour? 90 minutes? I stead 4 hours as they got potatoed me around between 4 people who were combined able to answer most of my questions, but zero of them could actually help me on their own, and zero of them cared. All this to swap a phone on a warranty claim. Horrible. Horrible. You bet they made me angry. 1 star NBC they wouldnt allow zero.

Verizon wireless via online and 611 are my favorite places for awesome customer service! This location is an independent store, in my opinion THEY ARE ALL ABOUT SALES!! If you want the true Verizon customer experience, call 611 from your Verizon phone or go online. Even Best Buy will give you better deals. Ive been to this location many times over the years & always disappointing. The people are nice, for sure, but their bottom line hangs over them and it will come through in the end. Unless you want to pay more and know less, go elsewhere! Customer since 2002.

Google Assistant was not enabled on the display Pixels, the LG V20 was not labeled correctly (labeled as the G5), and niche phones like the PRIV were not even on display. Meanwhile, there are multiples of the same phone on display in several locations.

I worked with Tim Bertucci Monday night after recently upgrading my Verizon plan and buying 2 new iPhone Xs. My data was being burned up really quick (7 days in and I had 28% left on my plan). Tim was able to walk us through a few settings changes and upgrade our data plan to 16 GBs for free for a single month to allow us to better trouble shoot what was really going on.However I am giving this store a 5 star review because during the time I was there Tim found out I had missed a very big discount by only a few days (Buy 1 iPhone x & get 1 Free). So Tim quickly spoke to his manager and they applied the discount and even allowed me to keep the original line transfer discount too. This saved me a almost $30 per month on my bill.I would highly recommend stopping in if you have any questions or concerns about your plan or simply want to upgrade.Thanks guys!

I bought my accessories over the phone from the Verizon sales department, so they were shipped to my house. I had read lots of reviews of people struggling with putting the Zagg screen protectors on, so I figured Id stop in the Dubuque store to have an employee put it on for me because theyd do a much better job. The lady who assisted us was clearly put out at having to help us. She didnt seem to know how to do it-- which was fine, I wouldnt know either-- but she didnt admit that or say anything, just proceeded to try putting it on with the new phone plastic still on the phone. Her and another employee then tried to stretch one of the screen protectors out and had another employee cut the top with a utility knife because it was positioned incorrectly and covered the front-facing camera.The lady was also very dismissive when I asked questions, which was frustrating. I would recommend that you go to a different store, if at all possible, because Ive had nothing but good experiences at other locations. Maybe they were so unhappy because it was a Sunday or maybe they knew they couldnt get commission from my visit, but as a new Verizon customer I feel let down by the level of service I got today.
