When it came time to talking with one of the managers, he was a very rude, unfriendly, and extremely nonprofessional. *Edit #2 - Long story short, I will never be back.*Edit - I have had my car for a year. I purchased a 2019 Cherokee. Long story short, I had to have my radio replaced twice within the first few months of owning it. Now about a year later, my radio is acting up again. A radio doesnt maybe seem like a big deal but I drive 40 min one way to work I want to be able to listen to the radio...very disappointing :(Highly recommend Turpin!!! We had visited numerous dealerships looking for our new vehicle. Michael at Turpin was beyond helpful and knowledgeable!!! He was not pushy at all. Best sales guy, who actually answered our questions honestly instead of trying to beat around the bush and give us the run around. Will be back next time we need to purchase a vehicle!

I have to rewrite my review. I have only good things to say about the Service & Body shop at this dealership.Terry (Body Shop manager) & Dion (Service Manager) are great guys. I highly recommend them.The work is exceptional. And they are great guys to talk to. I made the right decision to keep on going to them.However, the Sales Manager (Kevin) is totally unfit. All the customer service training in the world CANNOT help him.Pat. Turpin needs to screed his Sales employees better. His Service & Body shop guys are GREAT.

I came to Turpin Dodge to have a factory remote starter installed in my new car. Although I purchased the car from another Dodge dealership Turpin had a much better price for the installation.It was a pretty long drive to Dubuque but I felt it was worth it.The service department treated me fine and the work was done quickly.Heck, Ive had longer waits just for an oil change from my regular dealer vs the amount of time it took Turpin to install the starter.When its time to trade-in for a new car I may have to consider Turpin even though its a heck of a ride to get there. But good service and fair prices deserve repeat business.

Went there to trade my truck in on a used Chevy or dodge next thing I know all they wanted to do is talk brand-new trucks. They give me one price two days later its a all different story. Will never walk in that door again. And come to find out they dont even inspect there used trucks cause the one I did get to look at had a check engine light on and a air bag light. Stay away folks

I have bought 3 brand new trucks from Turpin and was gonna buy another one so I went out and found the truck I wanted to buy and we agreed on a price so I went and found out what my interest rate was gonna be and it was a little to high so I couldnt buy at that time so a couple months later I was able to get a lower interest rate so I went back to Turpin and they still had the exact truck that I wanted still on there lot so I was gonna buy it but they wouldnt match the price they gave me when I was looking at it the first time, all the rebates were still the same, nothing changed, extremely disappointed and will never buy another vehicle there. The salesmans name is Lonnie so if you go there dont deal with him cause he is a liar.

Decent service, but AWFUL communications. I needed a repair on my Jeep Patriot. The part needed for the repair was not in-stock, so they ordered the part and said they would call when it came in and schedule the repair. The next week, I received a call asking why I didnt show up for the scheduled repair. I explained that nobody had called to let me know that the part was in; I verified that they had the right phone numbers. No explanation for the lack of call was given, but we scheduled a time for the 1st slot on Tuesday of the following week at 7AM. I told them I would drop the car off on the previous evening so it would be there for them as soon as they opened. The service tech stated that the car would be done by noon on Tuesday.On Monday, a day before the scheduled repair, I received a call from their parts department stating that the part was in and asking if I was still interested in having the repair done. I explained that I had already scheduled the repair for the following day. That night, my wife and I dropped off the car.On Tuesday, I dropped my wife off at work and waited for the call that the repair was done. At around 1:00 PM, I called and asked for a status on the repair. I was told that the tech was still working on a Cadillac and hadnt yet started on the Jeep. I reminded him of the promised time, he promised that the tech would get to it yet that afternoon and that hed call just as soon as it was done. Again, no call and I had to pick up my wife from work again.On Wednesday, I once again had to drop off my wife at work. At around noon, a service guy called as asked when we could pick up the vehicle and how we planned to pay for the repair (with a greater emphasis on the latter). I gave them my CC info over the phone and said Id have to wait until my wife got off work to pick it up. I told him that I would stop by when I got off work at 5PM to get the key, just in case my wife had to work late (which she did). When I stopped by after work, the tech mentioned that he had completed the repair the previous afternoon! In fact, I got the distinct impression that he was somewhat miffed that he had to bust a hump to get it done the previous day and that I hadnt even bothered to come get it that day.Just to be clear, the repair was done satisfactorily. The cost was very high, but I was prepared to pay a little more for a genuine, dealer-backed repair. What wasnt satisfactory was the absolute lack of communication by the service and parts departments. In the future, should I need additional repairs on my Jeep, I will drive the extra miles and have it done at a different dealership.

Great Service Department!Trust is important to me. And I know its partially on me, but I have a hard time trusting mechanics. I am not sure why, I just do. So I am skeptical from the start.My Town & Country had a coolant leak. I tried a few things myself, but then took it to Turpin when I couldnt figure it out. Dion was the gentleman in the service department that helped me out. He called me to tell me he thought it was the radiator. So I told him to go ahead with the repair. We hung up. He called back a few minutes later to inform me that two years ago to the day, I had them install a radiator with a 2 year warranty, so the repair will be fully covered. So he could have easily took me for the repair without notifying me it was a warranty job.There were other things during the 2 day diagnostic period that I wont type out that built my trust in this service department. Needless to say, I will for sure be taking my vehicles here when I need anything done. Yes, maybe dealer service departments are more expensive, maybe not. But to me, trust is invaluable, and the Turpin Service department definitely has my trust right now. Keep it up Turpin, and you will keep my business.

Not sure how this dealership sells any vehicles. As we were in the lot looking, we see a salesmen and asked if he worked there, his response kind of, as he kept walking right by us. We then go inside to find out some prices, the salesman knew nothing, he didnt know one price of any vehicle, or any info as far as mileage, history etc... All important facts when trying to sell a vehicle. We went outside again to show him the vehicles we were interested in and again, he could produce no info... And had a very arrogant attitude acting like he really didnt care. This place is a joke the salesmen are worthless to say the least. Going here would be a complete waste of time.

If you enter your phone number on the Dodge site, you will begin receiving phone calls from 1-800 numbers. For both myself and a co-worker, we went in to purchase vehicles, we both started getting calls from 1-800 numbers on our cell phones after entering them on the site. I believe some are from Dodge, some are from other places. I stopped answering them after the first one, but they called several times.If you do not want to receive any 1-800 calls, do not give them your phone number.Update: 6/14/13Turpin Dodge has contacted me and demanded that I take this review down or they will take legal action.To clarify everything above, I never publicly stated that Turpin Dodge sold my information to outside companies.As stated, I started receiving unwanted 1-800 calls shortly after entering my information on Dodges corporate site. This happened to my co-worker as well in a very similar fashion.I will not be bullied or intimidated into taking my reviews down for stating facts. This is not a company that I will do business with again because they threatened legal action against me.

I bought a service plan and an additional warranty that covers: Tire & Wheel Protection, Alloy Wheel Cosmetic Repair, Paintless Dent Repair, Windshield Repiar, and Key Protection.First issue was when I had my husband take my van in to have the oil changed. They charged him for the oil change even though it was already paid for when I paid for the service plan. I contacted the dealership and it took awhile, but they eventually got back to me. I received a phone call from Adam, stating that he will figure out how the dealership would like to reimburse me and that he made a note on my file stating that I have a service plan. I never received any form of contact since then, and I never got my refund.Second incident, I had a tire valve break and had to have the tire pressure sensor replaced because of that. I was once again charged for that repair even though they have my warranty on file (it was bought through Turpin). I was given a bill that I have not paid, and I was also mailed a bill for it recently, which I will not be paying as I have coverage.I do NOT recommend ever buying a vehicle through Turpin or using their service department.

I agree the Service Staff is difficult to deal with. I didnt buy my Chrysler vehicle from Turpin Dodge so I think they dont want to cater to customers for warranty issues unless you purchased your vehicle from them, but of course since they are a Chrysler dealership they are obligated to perform service repairs. In my recent visits to Turpin I have mentioned many concerns on my vehicle that would normally be covered under the warranty i.e suspension, factory blemishes in paint, engine not running properly, however the service dept. doesnt seem like they want to help me out in fixing them. I definitely think the Service dept. could be improved drastically if they ever want customers to come back to purchase another vehicle from them.

Called and left a voicemail for a service request. Never heard back. Went online and requested a service request - they couldnt get me in for 5 business days - never heard back. Went to Midass site and requested a service date for the next morning. They got back to me immediately, no hassle and I was seen the next day. The one time I did get in to Turpin they charged me $90 for a diagnostic - just for them to tell me what was wrong with my car. Midas charged nothing for a diagnostic and were very good to me and seemed much more knowledgable than the staff at Turpin. Just stop what youre doing and go to Midas!

So I recently found myself without a vehicle and started looking at Turpin. I found a van that I thought was a little low for the price but with the miles it had on it I could kind of understand along with a broken bumper which was fine. So I talked to the sales man ask if there was anything else wrong with the vehicle only to be told no the vehicle runs great and everything should be good with it. So I set up a time to go take it for a test drive, seeing how I live in Moline IL. and would have to drive up there. Well when I got up there the sales man wasnt there so another person decided to help me out. We went to look at the vehicle only to be extremely disappointed the front bumper was fixed but the hood didnt latch the AC didnt work at all the engine looked like it was never cleaned at all and there was a wasp nest growing in the trunk at that time the sales man said with an I dont care attitude it was a sold as is to which I then asked if there where any other vans in my price range, $5000, to which he replied no and that I would have to use it for a down payment for a new vehicle. Needless to say I will never waste my time or money to go back there and I will never ever tell anyone to go there even if they live in the same city.

Today, February 22, I had our car in the shop and I was working with Deion in service. We did not buy the car there but I wish we had! Because it’s under the Chrysler warranty we can take it to a local dealership. Deion and his service staff have done everything to try and fix our car. They are hoping what they did today, worked. Today I went in and I was a little annoyed but truly not at Deion or anyone at Turpin. I apologized to Deion for my irritability and he could not have been nicer. I called Steve (owner/Mgr, sorry I did not get his title) and spoke with him about the great job Deion has been doing for us. Steve was also so great. The nice woman behind the desk said I wasn’t cranky and she said “ you don’t know cranky” and I told her that’s no excuse. It’s never ok to get impatient with people who are trying to help you. Anyway, another amazing experience with Turpin and I’m very grateful for their help and insight. It’s a great TEAM!! They are bending over backwards to help everyone in there!! Thank you again!!**********************************Phenomenal customer skills in the Service Dept! We have been working with Eric in the service dept for the last few days. We bought a 2016 Chrysler 300 six days ago in WI and thankfully, the Chrysler warranty can be transferred to any Chrysler dealership. We chose Turpin Dodge & Chrysler and are we happy that we did!! Eric and their staff at Turpin have been amazing. They are accommodating and helpful! Their shuttle driver, Al, took me over to the mall and picked me up when our car was ready. I didn’t have to wait for anything. They said it’d be 1 hour and it was exactly 1 hour! Everyone is very friendly, helpful and efficient. Eric works at the Service Entrance desk and he was juggling about 20 balls in the air when I was there. All of his tasks were handled with patience and complete professionalism. I asked one of the salesmen if they had a pop machine. He asked me what kind, went and got it for me and wouldn’t let me pay him. He said “you get back what you give and it took me many years to realize that”. He didn’t have to do that for me but he did. This is our first experience with Turpin Dodge & Chrysler and it was 100% satisfaction.

This is the first time Ive ever been to Turpin Dodge and Ill probably never go again. I took my Dodge Dart in today to get look at for increased road noise and shaking. I told them I felt like it was either an alignment issue or maybe even a wheel bearing. After they had it a half hour they told me its just the way those brand of tires are and they pretty much refused to check the alignment even after I asked. I really didnt trust that opinion so I drove down to Midas right down the street and low and behold it was out of alignment. So bad it had actaully started to wear a bald spot on the side. This took Midas about 15 mins to find and they even took me out in thuer shop and showed me. Turpin basically scooted me out the door and treated me like a dumb kid.
