Took my truck in for 30k mile service. The service guy said the 30k mile service package fee was $224. There was a line drawn and 3 services listed below it. He made it seem like those were included in the 30k mile service package. I went to pay my bill and it was $716! I was informed that those were additional services offered. He never quoted me for all the work. Because he knew that the way he presented it to me was misleading. I took the service printout to another service center and was informed that those 3 additional services, were mostly INSPECTION... little to no work was done. That service center informed me that I had been ripped off.I have 3 cars to buy in the next year for my kids, and because of the shadiness of the service department, Ill be going somewhere else.

Disclaimer I did not buy the car solely due to finding a black one i loved else where but I am leaving this review as I felt very welcomed when I first walked in after having a bad experience with other local dealerships. Otis took amazing care of me and 10/10 would recommend working with him. While I didnt buy a car from them this time, I will for sure be checking in with them when Im due for an upgrade.

The staff in the Service Dept. are very friendly. Tim Then is very knowledgeable. He told me what he thought my problem might be before they even looked at it and he was right! Very impressed with Tim. The Manager was also very informative when he came back from taking my truck for a test ride to see if was fixed. He explained everything to me. I actually enjoy going there and chatting with everyone. Jason in the Sales Dept. is also someone I make sure I talk with when I am there. Always enjoy talking with him. They all should get the BEST TEAM AWARD!!!!

This was my first time buying a vehicle and I was nervous going into it. The salespeople, financing, and Toyota made the experience very comfortable. I truly wish there were more stars to click for the experience I just had with Anderson-Weber Toyota! The purchase story of my brand spanking new Toyota Rav4 in the stunning new color Lunar Rock will be one everyone needs to experience in this lifetime . I called Tim Weber on a Friday late afternoon, told him I fell in love with the color of the Rav he had on the lot. Before I knew it he had set me up with Nick Heston for a Saturday morning, 8:15 appointment. Tim has great pride in his dealership and rightfully so. From the moment I got there, I feel as if the red carpet was rolled out and the experience of buying a new car took on a whole new meaning that day. Everyone was so welcoming, a smile and a hello from everyone I walked passed to get to Nick. He asked a lot of questions, those that were specific to my needs. He listened to what I was hoping for in all aspects both the trading in my old and buying a new car. He worked with Chris Lapier who was extremely professional and quick. Within an hour and a half I was sitting in the office to purchase my new Rav4 with Mike. He too was so kind and very accommodating. He was genuine when he asked how my family was, how my work week was and just made the overall process pleasant and seamless. I was in my new car and on my way home by 11:30 that morning! Its unheard of typically when buying a new car. I feel that is just a standard in which all of Anderson Weber Toyota in Dubuque thrive to achieve for everyone! My husband and I still cant believe how awesome this experience was. We will talk about if for years and we will continue to be back for any vehicle my family needs from them. ------Weber Toyota lost my business----- Weber Toyota mechanic was not honest and wanted to make money by replacing unnecessary parts. Mr mechanic, please learn how to talk to customers.- Weber Toyota service advisor was not pleasant and could not find my paperwork for 30 minutes.I purchased a used car from private owner and took it to Weber Toyota for inspection. Among other unnecessary things, they wanted to charge me $59.99 for cabin filter replacement. But it is a shame that my cabin filter was not dirty.

Outstanding customer service! Never experienced anything like it! A deer hit our minivan while traveling from Wisconsin to Kansas on a Friday night and we had it towed to Anderson-Weber to determine if it could be driven to Kansas that weekend. We hoped someone could take a look at it sometime on Saturday, but Curt Martin and his team were sympathetic to our situation. They went out of their way to inspect it and get it ready to drive by 9 AM so we could get home before dark. I could write a lot more about what they did for us, but Ill simply say this is the best service Ive ever received and leave it at that.

I travel the almost 200 miles to have my RAV4 serviced by Anderson-Weber Toyota because Russ Anderson treated us fairly when selling us two cars two years ago and the dealership has been very good about servicing both cars since. There has yet to be any surprises. I’m certain should one arise in the future, they will explain the issue throughly and the solution will be handled expertly and professionally at a reasonable price.

Not only do the salespeople overprice their cars on their lot (bought an $15,000 SUV with over 100,000 miles on it - wasnt even good condition or newer model) but the costs for their repair services are outragously expensive. They charge $80 diagonistic fee just to see what the issue is. Honestly, I dont recommend this dealership unless youre desperate for overpriced, way too high mileage vehicles.

When asking around about the best dealership for quality and service, Anderson-Weber commonly popped up, so I figured, why not! We stopped out to check out some of the deals happening right now and we were immediately greeting by a friendly, smiling face. He answered all of our questions without hesitation and went out of his way to present a few different options that would fit within our budget. The facilities are well kept and with concerns about COVID in the world, you can see Anderson-Weber is taking their procedures seriously with the various sanitizing products available and masks worn by all employees. Were still considering a new car from them and would not hesitate to recommend them to our friends and family based on their customer service alone.

A disappointing vehicle service experience. Ordered a TRD Performance Exhaust from Anderson Weber Toyota knowing the expectations of the exhaust coming in. They installed it for me on my 2019 Tacoma. After installation, a very loud drone/roaring sound could be heard at cruising speed constantly after installation. After calling service, Curt and Shane (the service managers) explained that there should not be ANY drone with this exhaust. They took it back in and replaced the gasket, which helped some but the drone persisted. After having to make repeat phone calls, they put the old stock exhaust back on. Service refused to return the new TRD exhaust even though they stated it shouldnt drone, even though it was still audibly loud and noticeable after gasket replacement. Mind you, I expected louder tones while accelerating and upon startup, but was very disappointed in persistent drone tones simply cruising on the highway. They later stated that its likely characteristic of the performance exhaust. So which is it, its supposed to drone or its not? Also while this was being performed, I had my vehicle in for the regular maintenance interval and they did not provide a sticker for mileage of my next appointment. The old one was still on my windshield. Albeit a minor detail, these things add up. I did receive automated text messages regarding my appointment which was nice, and the automated message states if there are any questions, reply to the text message. I did, and never received a response. Had to call each time. If you provide a text messaging service, it should work. I will also mention during my visits while waiting in the lobby some employees were walking around without masks. Notably the receptionist in the waiting area was not wearing a mask while taking my payment. Also did not see any hand sanitizing stations in the lobby. With the City of Dubuque mandating a mask requirement and Anderson Weber claiming sanitizing common surface areas every 2 hours, this was not observed or seen during my multiple visits for the exhaust. At this point Im stuck with a new exhaust that may or may not be defective where no apology or solution was came to. While there are a few very nice employees at Anderson Weber, overall this was a very disappointing experience and will not be coming back for service. I will be thinking long and hard if I will come back. Disappointing as I purchased an extended ToyotaCare plan through them. I cannot comment on sales as I have not worked with them. I will be interested to hear what Toyota Corporate has to say after receiving an inquiry from them regarding my experience. I will update this review should anything change.

Everyone in Anderson Weber sales department, customer service, and auto repair is always very professional, friendly, prompt, thorough, knowledgeable, and reliable. Did not feel important to anyone but the salesman.My salesman Nolan was amazing to work with, very friendly and wanted to work with me.However they wanted 30K for a 2016 Tacoma with 13k miles. Not a bad deal I thought, but it has some serious interior damage and exterior dings and scratches.I asked for the price to come down some, but was told they wouldn’t budge more than a few hundred dollars.The sales manager would not even come to talk to me when I stated I was going to walk if the price wouldn’t come down.So I left.They’ve lost a deal and lost a customer.

Anderson Weber was great to us. We’re not from Dubuque, but we were on our way back from vacation and our car broke down on the way home. We called them, and Tim was able to get us in right away to take a look at the issue. It wasn’t something that could be fixed right away, so they let us use a loaner car until they could get the parts in and get it all fixed. The car is now working just like new and we are very appreciative. We could have been stranded hours away from home for days, but they took care of us.

Took truck in to have it diagnosed. Charged $55 just to look at it. Told me I need a new rack and pinion, power steering pump and that the fluid needed to be flushed. They quoted me about $1200 to fix it. So, naturally, I got another quote elsewhere. The $1200 ended up being TWICE as much as where I ended up getting it done. So, after I paid over $600 to fix everything Andersen told me too it didn’t fix the problem at all. I called Andersen back and they refused to take any ownership over their own bad diagnosis. Refused to take another look at it without charging me the $55 diagnosis fee again and I’m still waiting for the manager to call me back. Avoid if you can!Update- Took the truck back in to have it diagnosed again expecting to pay for the diagnosis. After they found out that it was the driveshaft that was binding they lubed it up, gave me a free bottle of lubricant and waved the diagnosis fee. They also offered to Fix the problem free of labor charge. Great service second time around!

Courteous staff. They didnt pressure me into extra/unwanted services. They even saved me money by not doing a tire rotation that I requested due to the fact that I will need to purchase new ones soon. They quoted me a price on the tires but didnt make me feel like I had to buy them today. Their computer systems were down, but it was business as usual from a customer standpoint. Overall it was a great experience and Ill continue to take my vehicle to them.

I recently purchased a new car from here and the experience was perfect! The car I had found was not located in Dubuque, nonetheless they had it here within 24 hours of me requesting to see it. It was nice to walk in to a dealership and NOT have the salesman try to sell me everything they had to offer. He simply understood we knew what we wanted and were looking for. Then when signing our paperwork they understood that we already had purchased our warranty elsewhere and again did not try to convince us to buy their products. I rely on Anderson Weber to keep my 2004 Toyota Sienna with 235,000 miles in top shape. I always get excellent service at reasonable prices. Weve had our Sienna for two and a half years and its still running great because Anderson Weber has identified and resolved every issue. Ive learned in the past two and a half years that I can completely trust their mechanics to identify and repair whatever needs fixing and that the bill will be very reasonable. I wont take our Sienna anywhere else. The entire service department and Dan in the parts department are extremely helpful with information on keeping our Sienna in top running condition. I would not recommend Anderson-Weber at all. I had been looking for a car for months and found what I thought was an excellent car. We drove 300 miles one way to pick up the car and as we were pulling into the parking lot I saw the car I had put money down on had VERY obvious hail damage! What a waste of a day and a 600 mile round trip with absolutely no mention of body or hail damage. My suggestion is to find a place you can trust as this places does not seem to be one you can.

My fiancé and I went to Anderson Weber looking for a newer, lightly used car. They have a great inventory and we found something very fast, and on our own. We talked with Chris and he walked us through the process pretty painlessly for our first time buying from a dealership. We didnt feel pressured into buying, and we felt, after looking at the numbers, that the prices were pretty fair. They also worked very hard finding us a bank that would accept our loan application and were more than understanding that we wouldnt buy if our insurance would be too high. Again, we didnt feel like we were being pressured into buying a vehicle. I would go there again. We love our car, and I will definitely be checking out their inventory when I decide to trade in my old car!

We were in a worst case scenario... in need of a major car repair in the middle of a cross country trip. We have relatives who swear by Anderson-Weber so I contacted John Wilhelm, a Service Advisor. John recommended a tow truck service, arranged for a loaner vehicle, and got us on our way with less than one hour delay. John kept us informed on our vehicle and was very proactive. The vehicle was repaired on the schedule and at the price John told us. There was no price enhancement based on us being from out of town and in a no choice situation. Highly recommend John and Anderson Weber for any vehicle needs.

I’ve had 3 cars experience the takata airbag recall. Even twice as both the driver and passenger sides were recalled at different times! I brought my Matrix in for the recall and an oil change. They said it would be an hour. In my experience at other dealers that means 3-5 hours, with no phone call. Almost to the minute I got a call back one hour after drop off. I even got a significant discount on my oil change for having purchased the car there over 12 years ago. Will be back!

Girlfriend took her Camry in for an oil change and rotation because my work schedule wouldnt allow me to do it myself. She politely asked them to make sure they didnt over-tightening the filter cap because after the last time they changed the oil, I had to use a 700 ft/lbs impact wrench to remove the cap (and it cracked the cap). The worker at the service desk got snippy with her and implied she didnt know what she was talking about because she was a woman. This is unacceptable behavior because of a simple request. We will no longer be getting her car serviced at this dealership.

Adam and Mike really made it happen. The more I drive my new car the more I love it. I basically told Adam what I needed, how much I wanted to spend, and thats all there was to it. I said no more than X, they got several points below X interest rate. I said payments under X i got it way under that. Im an Iraq combat vet, and he made sure I got the military discount too. However, after 3 tries with the service department, all of which were bad, I dont recommend them. 2 of them were only supposed to be 1 but they were not prepared for a planned in advance recall appointment so I had to bring it in again. All experiences have included multiple staff members acting inconvenienced and annoyed at my being there for my appointments.

As far as the rest of your message.The part WAS NOT over charged as you guys keep trying to claim it was. That is THE PRICE of the part. So the warranty Mr. Hefel lied about and sold me as 100% parts and 100% labor covered with $0 deductible is not actually 100% as he claimed and paperwork says.100% means the full cost is covered, does it not???So because the cost of the part wasnt the price the warranty company felt like paying and the dealership didnt discount it to work with the warranty company I get stuck with the difference??? That DOES NOT sound like a 100% parts covered warranty contract to me... that sounds like a we will pay what we feel like paying and you cover the rest warranty.Like I asked Mr. Hefel when he lied about reimbursing us multiple times (after he initially instructed me to go pay the bill and he would pay me back) would you go to a restaurant, look at the menu see a steak dinner for $20 and tell the waitress you will only pay $12 for a steak dinner and if she didnt discount it like you wanted, do you stiff her with the $8 difference??? No of course not thats really bad business and its really pathetic that ASC is trying to strong arm a dealership into lowering the cost of their parts otherwise the customer has to pay the difference.Again, that is NOT a 100% parts covered warranty as Mr. Hefel said it was when he sold it to us.Now what about the multiple times Mr. Hefel said he would reimburse us after telling me to go get my car back from the chevrolet dealership? YOUR manager made multiple verbal/email agreements to reimburse me on different occasions and proceeded to change his mind and say he would only reimburse me for part of it (the shop supplies and taxes) then AGAIN changed his mind a few days later and said sorry for the inconvenience AFTER I trusted him with his initial agreement/offer to reimburse me and went and got the vehicle out of the shop like he instructed me to do!If he would have mentioned the over charging stuff when the vehicle was still at the Chevrolet dealership MAYBE I would have a leg to stand on with the Chevrolet dealership. MAYBE they would have bent a little and gave me a refund of some kind but since I already paid the bill (again, because YOUR manager said he would pay me back) why on gods green earth would the Chevy dealership refund me any money now??? They wont! They already received their money for their services.Kind of like Anderson-Weber/Mr. Hefel already got my money for the car, the bogus 100% parts and labor warranty he scammed us into and whatever kick backs you got from ASC for selling their warranty. (look up reviews for ASC and you will see they have a history of this doing this)So is that why Mr. Hefel/Anderson-weber WILL NOT honor the verbal/email agreements Mr. Hefel made to reimburse us.You claim Customer service is a priority to ANDERSON-WEBER but yet here we are in the same boat again with you (the owner) blaming the service place for over charging when they didnt over charge at all they were just unwilling to oblige ASC demands & discount the part.The Chevy dealership did get pre-approval from ASC for repairs. They told me there was a balance and when I called Mr. Hefel he promised he would take care of us (I still have the voicemail) then when he failed to take care of us as he promised he offered to repay us.

Service was terrible! They gave me a 12:15 appointment for an oil change and rotation. When I got here I wasnt even on the book. An hour later and they finally lifted the hood. Besides,by the way, a week and a half ago your free service was done. WHAT? I will never be back.

Our two experiences at Anderson Weber have been positive. In the spring of 14 we traded in our Prius with 224,000 miles on it for a used Rav 4. In the fall of 14 we traded a 2012 Wrangler for a 2012 Prius. The salesperson on the Rav 4 was very helpful and most recently Adam Tigges helped us with our trade in for the Prius. Adam was very helpful as we came to a deal that we felt we could afford. Mr. Pineda in the finance department made all the paper work go very smoothly.
