I called a few places, knowing what I needed to be done, and asked for estimates. Frank was the only one who actually took the time to get all the information instead of trying to rush me off the phone.Once I took my car in, Frank told me exactly what they were going to do, gave me a choice on whether I wanted a remanufactured or dealer part, and let me know when the repair would be completed. It was done on time as promised. The people there were polite and not condescending like a lot of places are. I will definitely have any repairs done there going forward.

I’m so pleased with my experience at Dearborn Total Automotive Plus, who repaired my air conditioning and fan earlier today. It conked out on me at the height of this week’s heat and humidity and I was desperate to have it fixed.I called at 8:30am which was when their listing said they were open and Frank answered the phone right away. Normally mechanics are not in when they say they will be so that was a nice surprise. He said to bring it over right away and they’d look at it.Frank is very pleasant and accommodating. When I told him my livelihood was dependent on my Ford Edge he said they’d do their best to have it ready by tomorrow. I was absolutely delighted to get a phone call a few hours later letting me know it was ready to go!The price was reasonable with no surprises. AND they offer financing which I love because I can’t be out of pocket.Something else I noticed and appreciated was that Frank identified a couple of issues about which I was already aware but need to wait a bit to have them fixed. They were totally awesome regarding my husbands transmission. Cost was on point and I also came in because my trunk would not open after going to 2 dealerships that couldnt fix it. Stay away! Charged over $1500 to do an ignition switch and took several weeks. Very surly toward the end. Also, I see so many reviews here by people who have an account with no other reviews and theyre all five star reviews. Whats up with that?

I own a 97 Camry , that needed an oil leak checked out. I called up there on a Wednesday to see if I would be able to drop my car off or make an appointment. I was told at first that they were pretty busy but could check my car out the next day. Due to my work schedule I wouldn’t be able to drop her off until the following Wednesday in that case. The man I spoke to said he didn’t want me to wait a week with a leak so to bring my car in that day, drop it off and they will take a look at some point that day.I dropped her off that day, yes her, my cars name is Beatrix. Dustin was the mechanic I worked with, checked the leak, did an oil change and fixed the brake line that blew while it was there, which I was very grateful for. I did have to bring her back the following week for them to rinse the engine off and see exactly where the leak was coming from, which they also replaced the timing belt during that visit. But for them to go above and beyond and fix other parts while she was there all at a reasonable price is amazing. They communicated everything they found, showed me what they were fixing and again all for a reasonable price, which is much appreciated after a bad experience I had during the summer at a different mechanic. I will continue to come here for any repairs my car will need!

I’m writing as a mom, I completely appreciated the time and that they gave to my son and I. This was his first vehicle and they took the time to break everything down for us. Fixed my motor mounts faster than called for and did an amazing job, even pointed out things I had mentioned that another mechanic nearby told me was fine but after looking at is completely broken.

Always quick to fix a vehicle. They have a small communication issue. They say they will call you be for they close. Its best you call them, they never call me.Outside of that i have never had a problem with service. Always good service in store and no BS. They fix it right the first time.

Went in for a clutch repair and some electrical work on my tail lights. I was given a price for the clutch repair, and i asked about my tail lights as well. The guy said he will throw that in at no additional cost since i was spending alot of money on the clutch repair. I left the truck there for afew days. When i went to go pick it up he charged me an extra $180 for the electrical work on the tail lights. We had already agreed on one price, then he changed it last minute and gave me excuses about having to pay an electrician for the work. I don’t mind paying for service, but i just don’t like being lied to when it comes to money. If a customer doesn’t pay the full amount of the work that was done. I’m sure they wouldn’t be okay with that. Besides the shady BS, they did good work on the vehicle and the repairs seem to hold up. I will not be coming back to this place ever again!

Prices were kind of high but work was exceptional.

I had a problem with a mechanic down the street. These guys knew what was wrong with my car before looking at it. They gave me a fair price and had my car ready same day. No problems since. This is my mechanic now.

I got some work done on my 2008 Hyundai Veracruz. They replaced the rear drive shaft bushing, 4 bushing for rear axle and right rear hub assembly. It was a big job that took over 10 hours and it cost under a thousand dollars, less the half of what the Hyundai dealership wanted!!! (I had purchased the parts myself and they were willing to use them, no questions asked.) The job was done in a little over a day and they gave my son and I a ride home. I head a very positive experience and they gave me the best price possible for the work completed. I would recommend coming here as Frank and his crew are good, honest, hard working people and really look our for the interest of their customers.

My driver side window would not go up on my 2002 ford escape. Frank the manager told me to bring the vehicle right in. Bob began to work right on it. Having to take the cover off the door. Im thinking this could be costly, being electrical. Mr. Bob told that the electrical unit became unplugged. He reconnected the unit. The window works fine. Bob did a great job and only took approximately 40 minutes. Frank the manager only charged me only 45.00. Great price. Professional workmanship.

These guys did quick work and quickly fixed my car and got me driving again. Extremely honest and trustworthy: I suspected my rotors were bad and told them that. They took a look, and told me my brakes were fine but I only had a bad bearing. In other words, they admitted the problem was a less expensive part than I thought was at fault. They didnt try to take advantage of me, they were honest with me. And fixed my problem in 1 day!

I had a problem with my car just stalling. I am very uneducated about cars and where to go for car troubles. My niece told me to just go to Dearborn Total Automotive ,because she has taken a couple cars there and Frank had treated them well and did not try to sell them things on their car they didnt need. He was honest and very kind. So I took my car there and first met Kelly at the front desk who was very kind and cheerful. Then I met Frank who was also very kind. He had my car for a few days, because he took the time to figure out why it was stalling. It ended up being the back window wiper motor shorting out the car and stalling. He worked long hours on my car and was VERY reasonable on what he charged me. Frank also offered me a loaner car .When I picked up my car he wanted me to call him the next day to make sure everything was ok. Frank and his team went above and beyond to help me. I highly recommend Dearborn Total Automotive if you want to be treated well with affordable prices.

Took my car right in and explained in detail about ways i would know if my tie rod was bad and even let me go back and see beside one of. Mechanics ! I went to these guys about three months before I actually bought anything and got a price quote for new tires. When I came in just the other day the guy at the desk recognized me and we started the conversation up like it had only been a day or two. Staff actually try to help, which is nice, and theyll sit and chat with you if you have any questions.

I have had two excellent experiences now with Dearborn Total Automotive.My first one was with my mini van that had a power steering leak. Frank was able to diagnose the problem and had it fixed the same day! What great fast service! My second car was an older Trans Am that had a check engine light, vacuum leak, breaks were going, and was making a strange sound from the back of the car. Frank did a great job showing me every part that needed to be replaced and why. Cory was great at taking the car for a test drive and catching all that was wrong with it. He fixed all that was wrong with it and even got the wobble out of the steering wheel fixed! I stopped in to have my vehicle looked at. The guy told me that he was over two days behind. If I wanted to leave it, he might be able to get to it in 3 or 4 days. I left and went someplace else.

Have an old V12 Mercedes-Benz and very few people would work on it including my mechanic of 18 years! I decided just do drive by this placr thats down the street just to check the price. Frank and the staff where full of smiles and eager to help. They saw my car and said no problem, and said they could complete it within 45 minutes. Frank was very knowledgeable, and true to form I was in and out with ice cold air. He thoroughly checked the air conditioning system, cleaning it out, lubricanting thr internals, before filling it. However; the best part was it cost me 60-65% less here then it would have cost at the few shops that would work on it. Will definitely be back, I trust them with any of my vehicles!

This was the easiest experience Ive ever had with an alignment service, theyre extremely fairly priced, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. They even included a chart with my alignment data which I thought was very nice. Theyve been around for a long time and they stand behind their work. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who wants honest good work done on their vehicle without being taken to the cleaners or given any kind of run-around.

Frank answered the phone and let me the exact price for the issue of my rough steering. unfortunately it ended up being my rack and pinion. they were still able to give me a really good discount and had the work done with 24 hours. I was back on the road pretty quick. I would definitely recommend them for any problems with your car.
