Staff is very friendly, but I bought a trail bike here a while back and it was an absolute lemon. Normally would not blame the store for this but I took it back in with a derailleur issue about a week after purchase and picked it up to find it had the exact same derailleur issue. Also, got a road bike tuned here a few years ago and the derailleur went haywire on my first ride. They have a good selection, friendly staff and a lot of nice bikes for sale but would recommend getting tuned somewhere else.

Came in close to closing time due to our work schedules. Found a bike we wanted and the man that helped us was very friendly and knowledgeable and not at all annoyed by us coming in late like you get at some places.

I needed assistance to replace a pedal arm for a desk cycle, I went to Montgomery Cycle Beechmont and the two gentlemen working were very polite, helpful and replaced the arm very quickly. The store has all you need for all ages for anyone interested in riding.

This place is a Cincinnati treasure. I always find quality parts at a fair price here.

I was very disappointed when I went in just to ask a couple of questions , it was like I was more of a bother than a customer and found it to be very rude I never would do that to any one . I wouldnt recoamend this establishment or go back.

Went here for some advice about tires. The gentleman behind the counter was less than helpful and really did not want to be bothered. Have been to this shop a couple of times and it is pretty typical, especially as a woman enquiring about services.

Kind of hit or miss when it comes to this place. There are some really really knowledgeable people, and some that know only the basics. Bike parts are SO specific if your customizing. I was able to find some cable guides and a rear bracket for a 10 yo aggressor gt so that’s a big win, they have a nice selection of add ons, but if your looking for the core parts or transmission upgrade you might want to just go online.

This location is always great! Low pressure on sales. Knowledgeable staff and reasonable prices during sales.

Everyone was super friendly and took amazing care of my adorable yellow cruiser!!!!! They were super upfront with pricing when I dropped my bike off and completed my bike the day they promised! And the most important thing it seriously operates soooo great now!!!! I’m beyond happy with their work and would recommend them to anyone!!!

I have had 5 flat tires and every time the day it’s fixed. By the next day the fire is flat again even though I didn’t use the bike.

Clayton helped me pick a new platform car rack and took his time to walk me through all of the features (and even tested multiple bikes on it). He noticed I wasnt happy with the old rack, so he took the initiative and submitted a warranty claim with the manufacturer.I didnt have a pleasant experience with the Erlanger shop, but Im glad I gave this cyclery a second chance. The Beechmont spot is nice!

We were ready to go riding when we noticed our kids tire was flat and needed repair. Thankfully the guys quickly repaired it for us. The service was great and the store has many options. We plan on going back to buy a bike rack for the car.

Picked up my European Idworx bike today after tire replacement. Excellent service from finding the same tires imported from Europe till delivering the bicycle in the best shape. Thank you, MC team.

Made the repair on my bike rack but didnt help me mount it, after even after they initially said they would. Got my business then dropped their end of the agreement. Drove 75 and 90 miles round trip for poor service. Doing the right thing is not a value at Montgomery Cyclery. I messaged them and they only apologized.

We walked in and after finally getting the attention of an associate in the store we explained we were new to road cycling and looking to buy. He pointed and said road bikes are up there then turned and walked away. This store has horrible customer service. We bought a bike from Bishops in old Milford and were very happy.

Great prices and always very helpful. Purchased two bikes for my kids plus lots of parts and accessories for all our bikes. Support your LBS (Local Bike Shop)

I have purchased a few things here from accessories to an indoor exercise bike. The service was great.

The idea of good customer service at this shop doesnt exist -- I walked in the door, greeted the employees, with no response. I somewhat located the product I was looking for with absolutely no assistance, waited at the checkout counter for 5 minutes, and no one said a word to me. I put my product back and walked out, still no one said a word. I like Montgomery Cyclery... just avoid this shop at all costs. I cant say enough about how dissatisfied I was with the lack of service at this particular shop.

Im not really a cyclist. I just chase my kids around the neighborhood. I always avoided this place because it comes across as expensive and high brow. Wal-Mart was good enough for my purposes.Until recently, I got a cheap mountain bike for myself off Craigslist and needed a part. I was surprised to learn that MCs prices (on parts/service at least, admittedly, the new bikes are out of my league) were better than Amazons. Since then, Ive been to Montgomery Cyclery a few times with similar experiences. The guys there have always been extremely helpful.
