I had a great experience today at this Mattress Firm. This was my first stop in what I thought would be many in the search for my next mattress. Leonard was the store associate who helped us and he could not have provided better customer service. He was a 10/10. I had an amazing experience buying a mattress from Mattress firm. Two days before, I tried going to Macy’s to look for a mattress. There were 4 employees and 3 customers in the store at the time. My boy friend and I were greeted and told someone would be with us in 5 min. In the mean time, we tried out all the mattresses to find out 45 min later that one employee went on a lunch break and the other 3 had clients. We found the mattress we wanted to buy online and left rather than wasting more time. I did a lot of searching online after we left and the next day, and noticed a lot of places have the same mattress but call it something else, so price comparing is difficult. so I decided to go to Mattress Firm to try out a mattress in-person.I walked in and there was one employee, Mimi, who greeted me. There were 2 other customers and I figured I’ll look around and try out the mattresses while she finishes up with the other clients, but instead she let them look around on their own and came over to me and asked me if I knew what kind of mattress I would like. I knew I wanted it more firm one, but past that I wasn’t too sure. She let me try 4 different types and explained the differences, and then had me tell her which I liked most. From there, she helped me find one within my budget and did so while delivering superior customer service. I appreciated her honesty about what details I really need to focus spending my money on vs which ones were less important. I would highly recommend the location on Roosevelt right off the red line if you’re looking for a great deal and a reason to smile. Mimi & Carol were amazing. They got the price down to what I could afford on an incredible mattress and adjustable frame. They helped with the financing too. Now, I needed a California King, but it was gonna take two weeks, so they gave me a regular king to use until my mattress arrived. Most importantly, they were both kind and a joy to shop with. Five stars easy!

I wanted to buy a nicer mattress to help me sleep consistently through the night, and I had a lot of questions. Joe, the store manager, gave me a very complete and thorough rundown of the memory foam mattress market that complemented my online research well.Much like the other reviewers on here, I felt like Joes style was very low pressure and honest. In fact, he even steered me away from the most expensive options because they didnt suit what I was looking for. Finding a commissioned salesman who is this honest is very rare these days.The selection at the store is much better than you would expect for a store that size. Even if you arent super interested in buying a mattress, its fun to just go in and lay down on a bunch just to see whats out there. And with the low pressure style, it really allows you to ask any questions you might have and get to know all of your options (not just the expensive ones).I was in a rush to have everything completed so I asked for free next day delivery and everything went smoothly. The new mattress delivery, assembly, and old mattress removal process was complete in under 30 minutes.If you are in the South Loop and are even remotely interested in getting better sleep, I highly recommend stopping in and laying down on a few mattresses here.My only complaint would be that their hours should be extended a bit so that people could swing by later in the evening. But other than that, I had a great mattress buying experience there and would do so again in the future!

Who knew mattress shopping could be a stress reliever? It was such a great experience getting to try all the mattresses at the showroom. MeMe, the sales person, was very lovely. She gave us all her attention and was very thorough and knowledgeable about the mattresses. She wanted to make it as stress free as possible knowing me and my fiance are getting married on Saturday. She definitely did that and more. She hooked us up and gave us a great deal. She even made sure to fit the delivery window the next day and scheduled the only time that would work for us! Now when we return from our honeymoon we will have a mattress waiting for us!

About a week ago I went out on a mattress hunt and this store was the second one I went to. I had imagined it was going to be the next of many stops. I had a price range in mind and it wasnt too high (my cap was going to be 400). The salesperson, Bobby, was super helpful and helped me find a mattress that was barely over the budget, which in the end actually seemed to be a major payoff. He took time to look through the inventory in the computer (there was stuff in store in the price range but he wanted to show me more options) to find a better mattress that was in one of the warehouses, and the mattress was on sale. In the end I got one that was listed for $648.99 alone (before the sale). I ended up paying $497 for it INCLUDING the delivery and box spring. I had to wait a week or so for it to be delivered because it was coming from the warehouse, but it was worth it. The delivery people came right in the time slot they were supposed to (unlike the cable guy) and they called 30 minutes beforehand. The bed is awesome, like really awesome. And as for Bobby, he was easy to talk to and really friendly and funny, so it was a fun experience. : ]

You know when you walk into some stores and you feel like you have a target on your back because people are following you around? Well, that is uncomfortable, especially when you are trying out mattresses. Joseph asked us what we were looking for, gave us the pitch for the different brands of beds he had, and then he let us be. It was great to be able to take our time without being watched.*Delivery was wicked fast, and included. We had our new mattress within 48 hours. It took the delivery guys 5 minutes to deliver and set up the new mattress, and take the old mattress out of the house.*The price was the best in Chicago. I purchased a Sterns & Foster bed, and I knew the price at each store in Chicago. Joseph said he would beat any price, but his original price was already lower than anyone else.*My new mattress is amazing. I have had it for about 1.5 months, and I absolutely love it! I highly recommend Sterns & Foster!Cons of Bedding Experts:*They dont have as many choices as a large department store, so, I would probably start there if you are just starting your search so you can try out all the mattresses. We had Joe the store manager who provided great no pressure help during our visit. He knows his specific bed information very well and will point you in the right direction to meet your needs. We needed delayed shipping due to furniture arriving which was accommodated easily and arranged to have the bed arrive shortly after the furniture set up was complete. I recommend this location over some of the other name stores in the area.
