We recently had OGD company repair our garage door. They did a great job ! They were prompt, knowledgeable, very helpful and even removed the old broken parts and debris after finishing the work. I would not hesitate to call them again if I ever have other garage door issues!

From the initial call I made inquiring about service to the payment, I was treated respectfully and everyone was super friendly! I probably made 3-5 calls to ask questions and every time was helpful and pleasant!

So last yr in april I payed over 2000.00 for a new door. 2 weeks ago my spring broke. 1 yr and 3 months after install. Hmmm I called the company and set up warranty repair. Wow did that open a can of worms. The repair man said that on the original install the guy didnt use the springs that came with my new door . They were from 2012. As he told his company they told him not to tell me. At least he was honest. Then said these are not new tracks either. Can not get anyone from office to call me. So here we are I would not recommend this company at all. Unless you want to pay for things you already own.

Service man came on time. He was very knowledgeable about my door. It’s working much smoother after he made a few adjustments. I just knew I would have to wait until the next week to get my garage door fixed when I had a problem on Friday. I called at about 9:30 in the morning and was told to expect a technician between 2 and 4PM. The tech texted and said he was on his way and arrived at about 1PM. He quickly diagnosed the problem, quoted a price and promptly resolved the issue. He even took care of a bulb on the garage door opener! He explained what he did, instructed me on garage door maintenance and also lent me a cutting tool to remove some grommets from clothing. If all of the employees of OGD are as warm and friendly as the ones I dealt with, from my phone call to the actual service, I will be recommending this company to all of my friends and neighbors. My garage door broke on the Wednesday evening. At 8am Thursday morning I sent an online request for an appointment for hopefully that very same day ...Within minutes I had a call asking what time that very morning was good for me. Unfortunately I wasn’t free until the afternoon and so the afternoon it was. My appointment was between 2 and 4 and I got a text to let me know where the technician was and when to expect him. He was extremely pleasant to work with and fixed my door within no time. It now works perfectly and better than before it went terribly wrong. I would highly recommend this company. Thank you!!

Upon arrival Luis at (OGD) Overhaed Garage Doors kindly greeted me and we went over and looked at my issue with the garage door. All I have to say is that this guy really educated me about the cycle life of the tortion system of a garage door and weight of doors themselves. I contacted Overhead Garage Door about my garage opener not working. We scheduled an appointment and they sent Luis Diaz. He was professional, knowledgeable and explained to us what needed to be done after diagnosing the situation. This is by far the WORST customer service I have ever received in my life. To start I agreed on one day for my consultation and the tech showed up a day earlier and at the wrong time forcing me to do the walk through then instead of the agreed upon time in the middle of my work day. It took two months to finish installing a gate pad after I was promised it would only take two weeks. I had to call almost weekly during those two months to find out what was taking so long only to be passed around to rude customer service representatives who had no idea what was going on. After finally calling to figure out why my gate pad hasn’t been installed after two months I was told I would receive a call the following week to schedule my final installation. The tech shows up unannounced without me home to finally install the new pin pad, I then call OGD to ask why I wasn’t called and then the man on the phone begins to argue with me and shout at me over the phone that he told me that they were coming in our previous conversation. Very confused as to how I would forget that after waiting TWO months for a simple installation. I rarely ever write Google reviews but what an absolute nightmare working with this company. Extremely unprofessional.

I wish everyone’s service could be like this! One minute after I submitted a request for appointment, I got a call to confirm a same day appointment. I got a text letting me know my technician was on the way and my technician, Patrick, was professional and kind and quickly resolved my issue! Not only that, they only charge $35 for a service call! First, as a mom of a wounded warrior, Im always happy to support veteran-owned businesses. OGDs service was by far one of the easiest, efficient, and most professional that Ive ever encountered! The technician showed up quickly and had old components replaced with new ones in short order. In a nutshell, our garage door was broken; OGD fixed it quickly and efficiently. We now have a quieter, much better performing garage door at a competitive price. Disappointed & Manipulated. When I called I was told there would be a $35 fee to come out. I had knocked the sensor off the garage door and could not get it back on. The tech immediately went into sales mode. He admitted the doors were in good shape. But first offered a $400 package. I said no, how much is it to just put the sensor back on? He said $189. But I can service both doors for $224. Because the difference was supposedly so slight, I agreed. So after the service was complete I asked what did he have to do to add the sensor back on and he simply showed me how he just popped it into place. No parts, no screws and a matter of seconds ...just a simple lock into place :( The tech was nice but honestly no one likes to feel manipulated. I take ownership for not pushing a bit more for the specific cost of the sensor repair but understanding the $35 service fee and the need to just pop the sensor back into place I struggle to believe the cost of that was actually $189. WARNING: Be aware of the OGD sales pitch that distracts you from the original repair request.Update: In reviewing the invoice there is no reference to the sensor repair only a Quiet Maint. Package. So I called their office and they explained that any basic repair is $189. Including something as minor as popping on a sensor. So it appears their way of gaining more monies for minor repairs is to offer a $189 package which in some cases you may not need + $35 service fee. If nothing else, my lesson learned should help educate you before calling them for any minor services. $224 for a fix that literally needed seconds of effort.

I have now paid this company $1,500 over the course of 3 trips to my house and my door is still not working. First it was the spring, so we replaced that (which I come to find out cost way more than what other people I know had paid for similar service from another company). Then my motor needed replacement (according to this company). So I went with it and trusted them, but it now seems like they don’t know what the hell theyre doing and their solution is to just replace everything (my house is 5 years old). Also an automated door opener I could use from my phone was recommended by them, but it also doesn’t work! And all of the reviews of this product say it is very inconsistent and is basicallyUseless. I keep having to have this company come out and fix their mistakes for free other wise I’d use a different company. Terrible experience from the beginning. I feel like I’ve wasted my money and I’ll eventually have to have someone else come out and fix all of their mistakes.Update: while my initial experience with them was not ideal, they reached out and took the steps necessary to find and fix the problems we were having. I appreciated their thoroughness in identifying the issue and fixing it. We have not had any issues since.

If you want same day service, dont waste your time.Same day service is fake, They didnt show up after taking appointments, after repeated calls only to find out at the end of the day that the technicians are on other job and they will ask if you want to reschedule another day.

The tech who responded to fix my noisy door was professional and knowledgeable about his craft. My only concern is that I had to pay labor for a door they initially installed poorly. The tech confirmed that the door wasnt installed well initially and needed adjustments. Not sure why I had to pay for the companys error.

I needed repairs on two garage doors and i sent an online request to ogd. Within a half hour they called me and arranged an appointment. Luis came out and did a very professional job. He had to replace springs, wires and rollers. Afterwards he cleaned up nicely. Best of all he gave me some good advice about future maintenance. Price was reasonable and i would recommend ogd to anyone needing garage door repaids.

When I called to make an appt I was told that they offered a $50 off service, Tech said he did better. When I looked at the invoice I didnt get anything off, and was charged a 2.5% for using a credit card. Nobody from management has called me back and I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR GOOD HONEST SERVICE! So the day they came out they replaced a broken spring, the tech that came out said its $349.00 and comes with 3 year warranty on parts and labor (which is a LIE!) according to the invoice its 3 years on the spring and 30 days on the labor. SO after the tech left SURPRISE the spring gave out and the door came crashing down. So I called for service and was told they do not do warranty calls on weekends only M-F! I work out of town M-F and I was told they have no other option unless I want to pay them to come out on the weekend! 2 weeks go by and No call from any manager still and I finally get a different tech to come service the door. He noticed that the first tech did not seat the spring properly AND should have not relocated it to the right side, did not lube or grease anything or have enough tension on the spring to the point I couldnt manually lift it. The second tech said that he would notate that the first tech didnt do more than half of what he was supposed to do on a standard service call. FYI I called before I posted this review to let Dakota know and she said there is no manager to speak to me.Then hung up on me...

Speed service and amazing price

The guy showed up exactly when he was supposed to show up and he seemed to know what he was talking about. Instead of trying to sell me a new garage door, he told me that the one I had was fine- just needed repairs ( springs and rollers). He completed those repairs in less than an hour and a half. I can’t say the repair was cheap, but it was appreciably less than the other company I called for an estimate. Good service, happy customer.

Called Sunday because my spring broke, got an appointment for Monday morning between 7-9am, Technician Patrick Murria arrived at 9am and went straight to work after reviewing the issue. He worked quick and also asked me if I had any questions about his work or functionality of the unit. Patrick was very polite and did a good job.

I have a older garage door and the spring broke. Called and a representative was there next day. Gave a quick estimate, ordered part and came back following morning and fixed my door. Very Professional.

Patrick was at my house within a few hours after calling OGD because my springs bailed on me and could not open the heavy door. He was respectful, honest and knowledgeable. I Initially called the company that services my door but they wanted to charge me for $250 service fee and told me they would call me back which after an hour I called OGD. People were nice on the phone and I’m very particular. It was an easy experience. Patrick replaced my springs and I had him also replace the rollers to new nylon ones to make it even quieter.

OGD came to repair my garage door on a Sunday afternoon. The service was great and Technician Tevin explained that my 25 year old garage door motor was locked up. I decided to have it replaced with a new opener. This was done in less than an hour, and it is functioning fine. I highly recommend OGD to anyone needing garage door service!

OGD was able to schedule my repair the same day that I called within only a few hours. AVOID OGD LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! OTHER COMPANIES LAUGH AT THEM!To make a long story short - OGD owes my family $425 and is refusing to call us back for over a month now and dozens of messages and voicemails left with them. For a simple spring replacement, their technician did not do the number 1 step everyone else does and weigh the door and so they installed the wrong size spring AND left the door unbalanced which ultimately broke the garage door opener. I had to get another company to fix their mess and they actually weighed the door, showed me online how the OGD spring did not meet the specs for that weight and told me the correct size to use. OGD was asked to replace the spring, they said they would and then never showed back up to do it. I finally had to pay the second company to fix both the spring and opener. As mentioned above OGD is apparently refusing to take responsibility for this and worst yet, takes our messages but refuses to call us back. DONT USE THEM!!!

When our garage door started not closing, we called a few different companies to help us out. OGD was the first to respond, and offered a next day appointment. Paul showed up on time and provided a good overview of our situation.After a short amount of time, he was done.We had the door leveled, springs tightened, springs lubed and eyes readjusted.I wasn’t sure how much it was going to cost but it was a lot less than replacing any of the one items that will need replacing down the road.

I am not one that enjoys posting a bad review but something had to be said about the non-service that I receieved. Placed a service call for garage door repair on 9/21/2020. Had a tech the same day, they explained that my opener had several issues that was installed the previous year by one of their techs Patrick(Who told me to go and purchase an opener from Lowes because he didnt have any on his truck). I took that with a grain of salt and said what can we do to repair my opener? They suggested that since it was less than a year since I purchased the opener we could place a call to Chamberlain and have them send a new one and they would submit the service call with my information to Chamberlain. Received a text on 9/22/2020 that he would come out and replace the motor on 9/24/2020 instead so that I wouldnt have to wait. 9/24 came and went with no call that he needed to reschedule. I reached out again on 9/29 for an update only to get the response of Im sorry its taken so long, your order went through I will be in touch soon. It is now 10/07/2020 and I have yet to hear from my assigned tech other than me texting him to check the status. Well I had to make a decision for my household and it was to move on to the next company. I got my door repaired by another company this morning 10/07/2020 and all the issues are gone away but no thanks to OGD. Be very aware when companies dont stand by thier word!!!

I received a call and a text with the information and picture of the technician prior to him arriving. Once here he did an excellent job of diagnosing the concerns and discussed options with me. I felt no pressure to from him as I contemplated my best options. Ultimately, I decided to wait on all major repairs for now, until I can invest in an updated product. Once I’m ready I will call and request this specific technician.
