They arrived quickly and once professionally installed, worked beautifully. The soft close system is definitely a plus. Customer service was very helpful throughout the process. Highly Recommend!

Most reliable opener i have ever had.Quite, super accesories (Motion sensor to switch on the light if you enter through back door) and super easy to install.Transmitters are very good looking and have a great range.Best opener solution for me.

Was having with transmitters in car. Had placed LED bulbs in unit. LED frequency interfered with transmitters. Was told to remove LED’s replaced with regular bulb! Problem resolved! Very helpful and quick response from Sommer tech.Saved me from buying new replacement unit.

DO NOT BUY FROM SOMMER. I own a garage door company. We were a Sommer dealer. When we started they sold the Synoris which worked perfectly. They changed their commercial line to the EVO + and refused to sell me Synoris saying that is a DIY brand now. The Synoris was a good product. ALL of the EVO operators that they shipped me were defective. The first delivery included replacement fuses because they put in the wrong fuses at the factory. I had no problem changing the fuse, it was a new line and an error can happen. The second delivery the operators would lose their code and the remotes would fail. When I called in they said that the factory had installed circuit boards with the wrong frequency and that I needed to replace the boards. The first opener from that batch failed after 2 weeks, then the rest of the customers started calling in. I had to request replacement heads. The next batch I received also had to be rebuilt. I installed one for a doctor and it could not be programmed to his car. He called Sommer and was told that they forgot to put in the circuit board for that and would ship him one with instructions on how to fix it. I offered to change the opener for him but he was did like it other than that part. It has been about 6 months and his remotes do not work. I am replacing the opener with an Atoms by Skylink so I have confidence that he will have an opener that actually works without needing to be rebuilt. I contacted Sommer about getting a refund for this opener and the sales rep said that he can not authorize the refund and his boss who can is in Germany. We asked for his boss to call us but he refuses. I have told the sales rep that the owner is a coward who hides from his problems. I do not have the option of giving no stars or I would. This is the absolutely worst company that I have done business with. No other supplier of mine would weasel out of backing their product. I was quite impressed when I started with them unfortunately they decided to get creative without any skills. The Evo is supposed to be this great opener. It is unfortunate that they pushed a great product aside to push garbage. Its a novel idea and concept but not perfection to it. You would be better off buying an old Genie at a yard sale than waste your money on Sommer.

This place sucks. Worst customer service ever and garage door is broken. Terrible company and management is unbearable.
