I just purchased new doors and highly recommend Garage Door Commander. Jon and Alan are highly responsive and keep you informed about your project. Jon was very knowledgeable when ordering the doors and making the decision to replace them. Alan did the install and was very knowledgeable. He spent a lot of time going over details at our house and made sure everything was running smoothly. The new doors are keeping the garage much cooler and look great. We would use them again, which is hard to say here in Charlotte.

Not only was I on the schedule quickly, they were early for the estimated time! After checking the system and a minor adjustment, he advised I did not need anything done to the door. These guys are great. I originally had called Overhead Doors because they are who we bought the door from. Anyone that needs garage door repair DO NOT CALL THEM......We told them our spring was broken and we could not get our cars out but they gave us an appointment from 10-12 then they did not show up. They gave us another one at 6 pm and they did not show for that one either. They still have not contacted us. I called Alan at Garage Door Commander and he came out today and fixed our door. I backed into my garage door before it was fully up and I called three different garage door companies and Garage Door Commander was the only one that actually answered the phone! I talked with Alan and and within 30 minutes he was at my house working on my garage door! The door would not go up or down and Allen got it working so that I could get my car in and out and he ordered a new bottom panel for me which they just finished installing . I was worried about the panel matching because it is wood grain look but it is a perfect match! John and Alan did a great job installing it! Big Thank you to Alan for coming quickly and fixing the issue. Bolts popped out of the bracket connected to the arm and wont stay in place. Alan fixed it by putting in new bolts and securing it better than before. He also noticed garage door was closing too high and there was too much slack in the cable. He made adjustment in the motor and garage door closing lower and lesser slack in the cable. Best part, he didn’t charge me anything since job was too small. Highly recommend them and they provide free estimates also.
