This was my first time at Bi-lo and I must say that it was a pleasant experience. The store was clean and placed nice to maneuver through easily. Their prices was competitive for rhe most part. My daughter and I liked their special area of toby mini stuff animals. They were super cute and adorable. For me personally, i enjoyed the street names above each aisle. I appreciate the orginality of it. The layout feels like your scrolling through a small town.... Super cute! And to make matters better, my cashier was super positive. Her name was Lauren and i enjoyed a short conversation about the numbers in her name and what her name had to say about her... After giving her my business card to scehdule a numerology reading with me later, he tthen gave me a bag for my wine, compliments of Bi-lo and i thought that was super cool. Plus, she gave me information about how i can sign up to get money off future purchases at the store and shell gas stations. Overall, i really enjoyed my shopping experience and thats why i gave them a whopping 4 stars. great job! Follow my reviews at #ayterrell

The store was very cute. It was very nicely maintain and stockedThe cashiers were very polite. and courteous. They didnt have a problem assisting you if you needed help with something.Also. Anyone wanting a new career as a MEAT CUTTER. their hiring now. If I lived there in North Bridge I would have applied. My daddy always said You can make good money being a MEAT CUTTER. He was along time ago in Georgetown. SC.

Very clean store, staff friendly and helpful. Only thing I could say was the cashier couldve been friendly and not talk to other staff member during transaction and actually engage in a conversation with the customer infront of them.

Even though the close down Imma miss BILO they have to best deals and price loved the b1g1f sale.

Clean and quick. This BiLo has an awkward parking lot, but the store is efficient and orderly. The automated checkouts get me out quickly.

This is always a pleasant shopping experience. Stores are practicing social distancing and it is always clean. Shopping carts are disinfected for you prior to use and afterwards! Signage on the aisles makes shopping easy, even if you are a first time shopper. There is always someone that can be easily located for assistance if you cant find what youre looking for. The workers are very hospitable and people friendly!

Worst experience ever Sunday morning. 2 employees audibly talking about tv while I stood in customer service line for 13 min before walking out

The employees are very friendly here! The store is clean and everything is laid out nicely. They have tons of deals weekly and always are great to stock up on groceries! I definitely would recommend.

Online Philo because of the buy one get one free deals. This particular Bi-Lo usually is well-stocked which I really appreciate. They also have well-marked merchandise so there is no question about whether it is on sale or not. Checkers and Deli workers are very nice. Pharmacist are very nice also. I will continue to shop at this Bi-Lo. It is very convenient and I know it like the back of my hand.

BI-LO on Sam Rittenburg Boulevard in West Ashley is a quality grocery store that is very consistent and reliable and has a lot of the items that I like with a standout deli and produce section. The store is very clean and well managed. I have had a really good experience every time I have been here and have had many successful shopping trips.

They are the only local store that carries my cats special diet. For that Im grateful. Other than that, they are extraordinarily expensive. The produce is of good quality, so theres that. And also they are one of VERY few stores that still carry south Carolina made specialty foods that have been part of Charlestons heritage for generations.

Im going to miss this store.

The store was very clean. The shelves were well stocked. The deli food looked really good although I didnt have any. The prices were compatible to foodlion ( a lot of b1g1 free items).the employees were very nice and helpful. Will return.

When they have a sale, they have a sale! I was able to stock up on many household items and groceries.

This place is terrible. A bunch of miserable people work here. The customer service is absolutely terrible! They all stand around with their thumb up their as* watching you bag your own groceries if it wasn’t for the savings I do get I would never shop here. A message to management is to invest in human beings worth paying. Something has to be done at this store or I’ll just look elsewhere and spend a little more money to be surrounded by good people.

Say goodbye to the majority of stores that cant stand the heat or cant stand to lose $5.00 of income.

I purchased some groceries today and took my bags with me. The female bagging my items told the cashier, to wait because she may be able to get all my groceries in one bag. I assume I’m getting a credit. However, I’m over 65 and can’t carry heavy bags. Younger people should be taught to keep this in mind. I have this problem at most grocery stores. I like shopping at BI-Lo and hope this issue is resolved for everyone’s sake. I appreciate the store giving me credit but it sounds like the management has told them to keep credits down. Not that I know for sure, but it does bring other problems for many of us.

Prices are usually reasonable, especially on bargain brands. Bargain brands are parity with leading brands. The store is usually well stocked. The staff is usually friendly and willing to help. Shopping there also gives you an opportunity to get cheaper gas with the purchase of fifty dollars or more.

I love their deals, deals and more deals!! Plus the store itself is immaculate. Just love the total shopping experience here.

This location will forever be a favorite store of mine. I dont go as often because I left the area. Hadnt realized the one down the street from me closed so I drove across town. This place is clean, friendly, has everything, great deals, etc!

Hidden gem. I forgot how much their prices were so affordable and specials are great. Hot food, fresh fruit and vegetables.

This particular Bi-Lo is one of the better grocery stores in West Ashley. Much cleaner and more friendly than most in this chain. The butcher is willing to cut meat without complaint. This is our go to for bargains and quality alike.

Just awful. Dont make since when a customer has a few item they have to wait in line to serve when they can go to u scan and do it there self. Especially when only one cashier is only open and the line is down the isle.

I really get dissatisfied with the way I am treated at this store. The employees, dont seem to like working there. They become irritated , and act as though you have done something wrong, I almost feel that they are not treated with respect, and maybe the amount they are paid is very low. One dozens of occasions I notice a look that makes me not want to ask for help. I have permanently stopped shopping there because of the attitudes a lot of the employees have. I am treated much nicer at Publix, and even better at the new Harris teeter. The screening of new hires obviously is sub standard , and the management must not be very happy , and attitudes suffer due to poor leadership. Its too bad , because my parents always shopped Bi-Lo. Management needs to change, or at the very least be a better example and have a much more cheerful,helpful attitude. Like my Grandfather always said, Either lead me well, follow me, or get the hell out of my way. The leadership in that store is lousy, and apparently lazy. Your loosing customers.!!!! If I treated my customers at that level, I wouldnt have my business for very long. Seriously.👎👎👎👎👎

Seems like they cant keep ground beef in the case. Havent seen it as a problem at other stores or I would just chalk it up to the pandemic.

Staff was not helpful or courteous. Cashier at the self checkout was extremely rude and unprofessional. Will not return or recommend.

Used to love this place, but it has really changed.... All I can say is pay attention to the expiration dates on everything! There is nothing like buying something and finding out you bought 3 to 5 days after it expired.................

Bi- Lo is very clean and the associates are very friendly. They offer a wide variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, and meat. They have a wonderful bakery and the deli serves a wide range and cold meat, prepackaged meats, and they also have a hot food bar.

The store is n.c.o. and has some good bargains in the weekly ad. Unfortunately the employees I encountered were completely miserable. They didnt speak or make eye contact and seemed to be bothered when helping me.

Nice, clean and friendly. They are the only ones carries my favorite broth its a low sodium broth I enjoy as one of my comfort foods! Thank you Bi-Lo!

I personally like Bi-Lo. However Im a single bachelor that doesnt shop at whole foods. I like Publix for my fresh bread and produce but still like good old Bi-Lo because theyre cheaper than Publix and Harris teeters that we have down here. We still have one Piggly wiggly no we have two Pele wiggles that are still open but Harris teeter is great. I love to buy one get one free tags everywhere and thats what I buy.... whatever is on sale! The places not jam-packed and they have lots of people working so about six different checkout lanes. The Publix across the street doesnt even have self-checkout. Ill take off one star because its an older grocery store but its still clean and cheap.

Went to Bilo to order some groceries. Have visited this store many times over the years. If I c dont know where something is the staff is always helpful by taking me exactly to the item I am looking for. The Deli food is always fresh and hot. There is a wide variety of choices. There is usually not an long wait in the checkout lines and the cashiers are always nice and friendly

Drove by there for years and never noticed the tucked away Bilo. Was happy to see one of the last remaining in our area. Good parking, registers staffed and good customer service.

The organic vegetable section is no more. Filled with sports drinks? Wheres the kale?It appears the 10lb chicken thigh/leg is no longer as well. The flower case is filled with bottles water? Whats up Bi-lo. Looks like Ill be going to Publix

I couldnt find anything and i bought produce there and it went bad in 2 days. I was very shocked, I used to shop here all the time. The time limit on our produce is not too bad at Food Lion.

This Bilo location had only two things going for it, and that is that occasionally, their products are cheaper than the Publix across the street from them. Second, in my case, they are also closer to me, and as I walk, I tend to shop there first only because of that. However, both of those instances simply to not make it worth it for me to continue to be lied to and ripped off by their staff.I walked up there yesterday to do some shopping, (It has been near freezing rain for the last few days now.) while there, I stopped by the bakery because I was making a cake for a friend, but would be short on time. So I figured I could save myself some time and guesswork with an old, unreliable oven by buying a few frozen, un-decorated cakes from their cake department/bakery. This was later in the afternoon, sometime after 2pm and they had no decorator in that department. Only a sweet, if disabled young man, working in the bakery. I asked him about the cakes, and he was very confused and could not understand what I was asking for. He claimed he was new, which was not the case since I had been coming there for years and he had been working there for at least over a year. However, as I said, disabled, so his cognitive functions are not the greatest. I pointed that out to him and he corrected his statement. I dont hold it against him and decide just to call in the earlier the next day.I called this morning, managed to get the bakery department manager Nicole. This lady preceded to tell me that the cakes would be at full price of a decorated cake. Which I know to be false as many customers had bought cakes like this while I worked there earlier this year. I was quoted over 33$ for each 1/2 sheet cake! I asked her to check again, because I knew there was a code for the un-decorated cake, just like there is a code for bulk icing. She placed me on hold to *go check* comes back to say, no in fact they did not. So I end the call and my next call is the Publix across the street.Yes, they have the cakes I need, yes, they sell them at a lower cost for un-decorated. Im quoted 15$ each. I thank them and will now be doing the rest of my shopping with them. The rest of my shopping list will likely total out at close to 100$. I know grocery stores profit margins are very slim, and that store is struggling.TL;DR I am willing to walk further in freezing cold, winter rain to be treated honestly, with more respect, AND get a better price, than to do business with Bilo for anything else. Even being historically more expensive, Publix will have my business from now on.I hope SE Grocers closes them down and scraps 90% of their management staff. Their reputation is so bad, and the store so faded and grungy, it will need a complete overhaul to even be close to competitive.

There was a young lady that helped me and showed me how to use self-service cash register she was very kind and courteous I was very impressed

This trip was great, I used my Bi-lo online account to shop for savings before I got there, the store was very clean, the produce very tempting looking, my cashier was very sweet young lady, and the savings was awesome.

With a family of 6. I love it when Bi-lo has there buy 1 get 1 free sales. This helps me out a lot when I shop. Im glad they are not closing this one in West Ashley.

To whom it may concern,It could be improved, management could be why this location cant compare to other locations Ive shopped in , ie Merrills Inlet/ Pawleys Island .

Conveniently located and rather clean and organized but the employees arent very friendly. Not bad, just not eager to please. 😕
