It was quite refreshing and fun spending three hours at Cinema Secrets without feeling rushed. The extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff offered suggestions for any type of Halloween costumes at any budget. And at any given day, you will bump into a celebrity at the store. Cinema Secrets is definitely a treat rather than a trick!

Just such a fascinating store! I know it has an online presence now but the actual store was a joy to wander through and shop.

The most interesting beauty supply store Ive ever been too. They have a great cream foundations. It works well with my skin. It last all day. The setting powder is great also.I got great assistance in picking the right color for me. The guy was really nice and knowledgeable.This place is also amazing for Halloween stuff.

I wanted to add demon prosthetics for the Labyrinth Masquerade costume ball. This place showed up on Google Maps - decided to give them a try. So friendly and helpful, and reasonable prices for great products!The woman (sorry, cant remember her name) showed me a set of different possible choices of what I was looking for - and helped me make a great choice on a demon/vampire forehead. When I asked how to apply it and employ makeup, she gave all the information I could have needed to do the job properly. She spent a good 30 minutes going over it all, answering my (inexperienced) questions, and being really friendly.In the end, my costume came out perfectly thanks to her help.Everyone who worked there was friendly and obviously both experienced and cared about what they were doing.Highly recommended!

Over the years, Ive needed various make-up and costume elements. One of the first places I go is Cinema Secrets. Whether its a fake wound, prosthetic facial pieces, wigs, or whatever, most times they are the last/only place I need to go. Their inventory is vast and their prices are reasonable. You may be able to find stuff cheaper online, but you wont get the hands on assistance. For whatever piece youre buying, theyre there to answer questions, and offer suggestions.

Great people. Great selections. Best of all: great people :) Just went by today : Saturday the 27th. Crowded, but plenty of staff... very cool.

I always have a great experience here. Staff is generally friendly & helpful, but Jen is always the nicest & does great work! They have a huge selection of just about everything.

Its a great industry/beauty store and in the best location in Burbank. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They have great tools of the trade here and they really get into decorating for Halloween making it fun for the whole neighborhood to enjoy.

The service is awesome, but whats even better is the pro-duct! Ive been using cinema secrets for 3 years. Nothing so far has come close to the quality and price for makeup. I love to see animal cruelty free products take over the beauty industry and being on top. Why doesnt all beauty products stop testing on innocent cats and dogs living, hurting loving beings? Another reason why I love ion hair products so much! #animalcrueltyfree

In the Halloween sprit. I got referred to Cinema Secret by a makeup artist friend.I wanted to make my nieces and nephews Halloween costumes. They are 6 and 10. Surprising they both wanted to be something creepy rather than a cool super hero or princess. I had to but some face paint, blood, and some other small things. I made my nephew a scary clown (his decision), and my niece a vampire lady. I have never seen kids so much into fake blood. I was sure that their teacher would send them home from school. My sister was cool with it so I didnt really try to sway them in a different direction. Turns out that they won a classroom and school costume award. When I got to the school I saw many kids with creepy looking costumes. Even the younger ones. Im a bit disturbed lol but hey.Cinema Secrets had everything I needed. They were very affordable. The guy that helped me was very knowledgeable about products and also helped me with some instruction.Deserve more than 5 stars

You can find lots of interesting miscellaneous goods and rare cosmetics that are not yet in Japan. It is one of the shops that you always stop by when you go to CA. Im a hair make-up, but I think people who dont can enjoy it. Why dont you take a peek at Universal Studios?
