My husband and I recently visited the Mattress Firm store at Gravel Springs Road and Buford Drive. The experience was extraordinary! Steve and Kendall were extremely professional and answered all the questions we had in selecting the right mattress for our home. Their level of expertise in the different mattresses (i.e.. pressure points of body, snorers, levels of comfort, etc,) WOWED US tremendously that we bought not only a California King mattress but accessories as well! If you’re looking for great, personal customer service, I highly recommended purchasing a Mattress Firm mattress at this location!

Our sleep expert was Kendall and he was exceptionally helpful, polite, knowledgeable, and listened to our needs rather than just trying to sell us something that wasnt right for us. Steve, I believe the store manager, was also assisting at times and even gave my 3 and 5 year olds balloons to keep them entertained while we made our selections.I generally hate dealing with sales people, but honestly I didnt have one bad vibe or see one red flag from either of these gentlemen. Great experience at this location. We went in looking for 2 mattresses for our sons. We expressed that since we were buying two we wanted quality mattresses but needed reasonable prices. Steven helped our boys find comfortable memory foam mattresses that stayed in our budget. Edited one week after purchasing a mattress :I was sold a mattress and told it would be delivered a few days later. I was SUPER excited. The day before my delivery was scheduled, I went in to another Mattress Firm (Alpharetta) to purchase a pillow. It wasnt in stock but the salesman was able to arrange the pillow to be on the truck that was going to be delivered the next day with the mattress. This was at 2pm on a Thursday.LATER that day, I received a call from Mattress Firm in Buford saying that my mattress wasnt going to make it and it was now set to be delivered some time between APRIL 12 and APRIL 30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (vs March 12).Since our delivery was only hours away, I got rid of the mattress on my bed and now I am sleeping upstairs on an old, OLD, uncomfortable mattress.I was told by Buford that they would send a mattress as a loaner (that I found very uncomfortable). When I asked for a mattress I did find comfortable, I was told they couldnt send that one. Otherwise... they were simply sorry and said they had been having problems with deliveries like this. Why wasnt I told this when I bought my mattress.IF ANYONE IS READING THIS THAT CARES..... ?!?!MATTRESS FIRM HAD TO KNOW 12 hours before delivery that they were NOT COMING with my new mattress. If they had told me a few days earlier what to expect... I wouldnt have gotten rid of my mattress and been so UNCOMFORTABLE. I am MISERABLE!I am VERY DISAPPOINTED that I dont have my mattress but to wait and tell me HOURS before is simply wrong. If they had told me a few days before, I wouldnt be in the bad place Im in now. I am SOOO upset with Mattress Firm. The best thing a business can do is manage expectations of a customer. PLEASE dont sell me a $5,000 mattress and lead me to believe you offer fast delivery and wait until HOURS before its supposed to arrive to tell me I have to wait 4-6 weeks! I would not recommend this place. The store manager, Steve, is combative, condescending and talked over me repeatedly when all I was doing was communicating how I did not have a good service experience throughout my transaction. They will treat you like loyalty while you are swiping your card but after the money is in their hands, forget about it. I spent nearly $6,000 of my hard earned money at this place and I regret my decision. I am STILL waiting on a refund for an inconvenience caused by the store for failure to set up delivery when the product was in stock and scheduled per my receipt. Had I not called the store to inquire, it would have been a lost cause. The products they sell can be purchased anywhere so go elsewhere and request a price match. Also if you buy from a retail location and have an issue, corporate cant help. You will be stuck with dealing with the raggedy store who offers no solutions. People make mistakes and it is not the mistake they made, it is how they have failed to resolve their mistake on my behalf.
