Poor Interaction with these guys. I made an offer on a $350,000 car and was basically laughed at (offered $325 hoping wed land somewhere in the middle). I followed up a few days later to see if they would even counter offer. I even called once and left a VM. No one responded. Great way of not selling $350,000 cars. Ended up buying from Lamborghini of Sterling instead.

I placed a call to purchase a vehicle without the need for financing- I spoke to Syed the sales specialist and he failed to call me back- and for 4 days I continued to try to buy their car- every one said they would call me back- in fact No one returned my phone call - including the owner Erica. (Who I spoke to twice) I attempted to buy a vehicle on their website and after 4 days of speaking to many different sales people and the owner they said they couldn’t sell me the car and did not explain why... even at full price. It all accounted for a terrible customer service experience and very poor communication by the entire staff. What a waste of time. I would think twice about spending money at this dealer.

It is a great dealership with friendly staff. They have a wide selection, and will try to get the car you want. With my busy career, it’s hard to find time to shop for a car; I tell Syed what I am looking for and he gets it done! They are very involved with the community which is also really nice.

We had 1st class service. My wife and I were driving around on a Sunday afternoon looking at vehicles. We happened to drive by Platinum and Jason just happened to there on an appointment. We were interested in looking at a Lexus LX570, which they did not have in the building at the time. Jason took the time on a Sunday, without an appointment to drive us off site to there storage building so that we can see the vehicle. Jason was very helpful and accommodating. We have had the vehicle for 2 weeks now and couldn’t be more pleased with our purchase. We will be purchasing our next vehicle at Platinum.

In October, 2017, I bought a car from Platinum. Could not get to Detroit from New York before I bought the 2008 911 4S Cabriolet they were offering. They made it easy for me to get a PPI and by the time I got to Detroit, met at the airport with a limo, and arrived at the Platinum, I knew all about the car down to the smallest detail. Everything i was told was correct, car was immaculate and now, 5000 miles later and just returning from a drive to Nova Scotia, this is a great car. Price was great. Could not be happier with the attention to details and how much everyone worked to make this sale happen easily.

A few months back, I started to look for a SUV online. After a lot of research, I came across Platinum Motor Cars in Detroit, Michigan (I’m located in Maryland). They had the car I wanted with the options I was looking for, so after reading their reviews I decided to fly up there.Syed welcomed me to his dealership and showed me around. We started the negotiations for the RRS they had for sale a few minutes after I was signing the paperwork and getting ready to head back to Maryland.When I got back home the service light went off, I thought it was another case of a “too good to be true” type of deal. I contacted them the day after and told them about my issues with the car. I had purchased cars from out-of-state in the past and I had some really bad experiences, I really thought this one would one of them. I was very skeptical about getting any help from them but I was completely wrong.Syed contacted back and told me to take it to the dealership and that they would take care of the expenses. He said if I was unhappy with the car they would just buy it back, no question asked. After I took the car to the dealership I sent them the bill for the service and a few days later, I got a check in the mail to pay for the services.Nowadays finding a privately owned dealership that goes out of their way to keep their customers happy to the point that they are willing to buy back their car is rare.I was pretty surprised about their level of customer service. It’s good to know that there are still businesses out there that care about your hard-earned money and that if something goes bad they still there to help you fix the problem and not just leave you hanging.If you are ever looking to purchase a car — any car — exotic, American muscle, SUV etc. make sure you give them a call. Disappointed, I had a deal to purchase a 2014 Silver Z28, but when it came time to sign the papers and pay for the car, there was confusion as to another pending deal from a week earlier. Couldnt seem to get a straight answer on my pending purchase. Not impressed.
