After going to two other bridal shops and being very disappointed with the selections for our budget, we ended up here. My daughter was treated like a princes, the entire experience was what you would expect and want for your daughter. They went above and beyond to make her experience grand! We found the perfect wedding dress for my daughter and didnt have to settle. Their prices for the type of dress she wanted was actually lower then the other two shops and the detail and quality was more then we could have hoped for. I recommend everyone to atleast go by and check out their dresses before deciding on a dress. We almost settled for a dress far less! Thank you for making this day so special for my daughter!

I had a fantastic experience here! I came in with my mom for a pick-me-up to a long week and we never believed we would leave having found my wedding dress!! The service was amazing and it felt so warm and genuine in there. My taste in styles varied greatly, but the women there suggested the perfect gowns. Beautiful facility but awful customer service. My mother and I walked in and we were greeted at a far distance (they have a very long hallway at the entrance.) asking what were we coming in for today. After she couldn’t hear what I was saying (obviously) she walked closer and I asked if they had any mother of bride gowns and she said no, then said well we have a few but only a few sizes and that she would not be able to order any other sizes. I said well do you have any bridesmaid dresses and she’s said uh, we have a few but only a select size and we can not order any other sizes as they are being discontinued too. She then walked us over to the small selection and repeated that she can not order any other sizes as they are being discontinued for the third time like I was illiterate and walked away.VERY RUDE AND NOT PERSONABLE AT ALL. After she walked away I felt like she didn’t want us there or had no desire to assist us. After looking at a few dresses which were pretty but a little over priced, another associate stood right next to me and hung up a dress and said nothing to me, and another associate walked past and did not say anything. I felt so out of place, I did not care to spend my money there as I did find a dress for my mom and some earrings that I liked for my wedding gown. I will never visit this shop again.

Bella Couture has a wonderful selection of gowns. I had a great experience at my first appointment. A very nice, young lady, who was engaged herself, assisted me. She let me try on the dresses I had picked and delivered the style of dresses I was looking for. She was very accommodating to my mother and sister who I had brought with me. We found my dress and I could not have been happier with that first visit. We had a glass of champagne after we decided on it and it was a lovely enjoyable visit.The owner was there and she was helpful and kind as well. When she saw that I was really leaning towards one, she stepped in and let me know what alterations could be made and we ended up changing the neckline a little bit.When I went to pick up my dress, we had a different experience. In addition to my mother and sister, I brought a couple of friends along to see me in it. I walked in first, and told the lady at the desk that I had an appointment to pick up my dress. She then began to walk back towards the dressing rooms. I didnt follow her at first because 1. she didnt tell me to and 2. my friends and family werent all inside the shop yet. When I did take a few steps towards where she went, I saw she had turned around and looked annoyed that I had not followed her.I put on the dress and she assisted me. After I was in it, I had to ask her if I could go show my friends.By the time I got out and we looked over my dress, my sister and mother had already noticed how unpleasant the girl helping me was. She made us feel like we were a bother to her.I enjoyed my first experience tremendously. My second was not so pleasant. The shop is wonderful as long as you do not get the grumpy girl. I wish I had caught her name, but she wasnt friendly enough to tell me and I was too scared of her to ask. I would and do recommend this shop. Hopefully the unpleasant girl has become more friendly.

I wasn’t fully sure what I wanted, but after telling her some of the things I liked, she pulled out a dress for me that I instantly fell in love with! The rest of the staff was also very friendly. They didnt push me to purchase a dress just to make a sale, like all the other boutiques I went to tried to do! And they actually listen to what you want and pick dresses that match that! Bella Couture is absolutely amazing!! I spent over three hours trying on dresses and Carol was exceptionally encouraging and honest about each one. She helped me in and out of every dress and never lost patience with me, even when I wanted to try on the last few two or three more times. I ended up with the dress of my dreams from Bella Couture!! I went in with a pretty tight budget, but Carol was not swayed by that and let us look and was super helpful anyway. I ended up spending more than I anticipated I would, but I couldnt be happier with my purchase! I also purchased all of my bridesmaids dresses here. Carol stayed in touch with me throughout my entire wedding planning process letting me know any updates that came up. And when I asked her for about 100 different swatches for bridesmaids dresses, she provided every one. The atmosphere is extremely comfortable and relaxed and inviting. It is such a beautiful boutique with a huge selection, and I am so excited to have found my dress here!

I LOVED going to Bella Couture to get my wedding gown!!!! Carol was absolutely amazing, as was all of the ladies at the salon. She made the experience exciting and relaxing. I tried on dresses for over 5 hours and not one time did she ever seem tired of working with me or frustrated about me making a decision. She was a lot of fun and it made the entire experience enjoyable. To be honest I was at a bit of a loss going through the racks and picking dresses to try on, but Carol figured me out quite quickly and I followed her around as she suggested dresses for me to try on.She also helped my mom find a beautiful dress as well. While I have only just ordered my dress, I know that this business genuinely cares about the customer and their services outside of just here is your dress make this quite evident as well. I would recommend anyone to go there, it is definitely worth it!!

I don’t know where to start! I had an appt. with them on a day where it snowed around 3 inches... they stayed open just for me!! Once I got there they never made me feel like I was inconveniencing them and never gave me the impression that they wished they were home enjoying the snow or a day off like most other people were getting to do. I found my dream dress and was there for over 2 hours and I never once felt rushed by them!! I can’t express my gratitude and appreciation in words! Thank you so much Bella Couture!! :)

I cant say enough good things about Bella Couture! This place should be a must for every bride looking for their perfect gown!As soon as I arrived at Bella Couture I, along with my mother and future mother-in-law, were warmly welcomed by Carol whom took us through the store explaining to us the way gowns were organized (by designer and price). She knew that I was on a strict budget and made sure to show me what gowns were on sale and how I could get the best pricing. We discussed what style of gown I was interested in (lace, low back, fitted) and began gathering multiple gowns that fit the style of dress I was looking for---and let me just say, that this store as an AMAZING selection of gowns!Carol helped me with getting into gowns and out of them and was upmost respectful during that whole process. She was very devoted into finding a gown that I loved and that was in my price range. At no point was I pressured to get a more expensive dress or even to purchase a dress that day---which I found quite refreshing, as I like to think about big purchases for a few days! However, what she did once I found the dress was just above and beyond! My mom and mother-in-law came up to the platform to see the dress up close... Carol quietly grabbed my moms camera and started taking multiple pictures of them looking at me in the dress and of us hugging! I now have all of these amazing photos of this amazing experience that I would have never had without Carol! My entire experience was like this, they went above and beyond anything I could have imagined!We were all so very impressed with the entire staff and the overall store. Amazing dresses at all price points and amazing customer service....you will NOT be disappointed!So STOP thinking about possibly making an appointment and call them....NOW!

While choosing my dress from Bella Couture, they were beyond helpful. However, I felt that the moment I had ordered my dress they didnt care. It took 10 months for my dress to come in. I was told it would take up to 9. When I called to check on it, they said they would let me know. I had to call 3 different times to see where my dress was. When I FINALLY got an answer and a new arrival date, they text it to me. I drove 2 hours from Huntsville, where I live to try my dress on. It had a 8 foot train and was a wrinkled mess. I did not feel special trying on my wedding dress. I didnt even really want to take pictures in it because it was so wrinkled. When I came back to pick my dress up for my wedding I tried to make an appointment so my maid of honor who was coming from 4 hours away could come with me. They said no need to call ahead weeks in advance and wouldnt schedule me an appointment. When my maid of honor and I set a date and I called even days before the recommended 3 days they told me they couldnt get me in. I had to pick my wedding dress up completely alone. I reminded them I would like them to make sure my dress was steamed properly so I could actually see what it looked like. When I arrived for my appointment, they had just started to steam it...I had to sit by myself and waited 45 mins to try on my sort of steamed dress. It just felt that once they had my money, they couldnt have made my experience less generic and unimportant. Wish I would have gotten my bridal gown in Nashville where I got my designer bridesmaid dresses.

Absolutely beautiful dresses with the widest selection I have seen in Birmingham! They carry very unique designers which was perfect for what kind of dress I was looking for. If you’re wanting a unique and stunning dress, highly recommended... if you’re wanting the perfect bridal experience then I’d never walk in the door. Other shops in Birmingham absolutely blow them out of the water when it comes to customer service and creating a bridal experience. My consultant didn’t really say much to me throughout the entire appointment and I did not feel welcome in the slightest. It’s not going to be the tell me about your fiancé and your wedding and about you experience that you get at other salons. If another salon had carried this designer I would’ve have bought my dress somewhere else for sure, but no one else carried the dress so they got my business despite my less than bridal experience.

I was kinda disappointed with Bella Couture. My consultant Emily was the sweetest thing ever and so helpful! But I just felt like that werent many variety of dresses. Also, it felt a bit awkward to walk across the store from the dressing room to show my family in the waiting area. I had to keep walking behind another bride who was at one mirror showing her family a dress to get to the one they had for me to use. It just wasnt a very intimate setting and I had random strangers giving me opinions on the dresses I tried on. Just not the experience I was hoping for when looking for a wedding dress.

My sister is getting married on the 27th of this month.. Thats three days away. Everything has gone pretty smoothly, not a ton of stress, and no bridezilla moments, but of course, every smooth trip needs a little storm. My sister ordered her dress from Bella Couture in Birmingham, they seemed helpful enough with picking it out and promised alterations would be done promptly. Up til yesterday, the alterations hadnt been done. Now you might be thinking well, wedding dresses are tricky to fix in a short amount of time.. , no. It was a simple hem job, and they had six weeks to do it. Six weeks for a simple hem job. And up til yesterday it wasnt done. Fine, alright, youre busy, we get that. But giving her the run around with phonecalls, and promises and then having the audacity to say that my sister is hysterical and flat out lying about what youve failed to do, and then charging an extra 550$ on a wedding dress that was already paid for, for simple alterations that werent even done in the allotted amount of time is disgusting. Oh, storys not done yet, they still wont give her the dress.So if youre looking to get married anytime soon, dont go to Bella Couture. Despicable service, from a bunch of petty thieves.
