I ordered a pair of skis from this ships website. When they came it seemed that I had ordered the wrong pair. I e-mailed the shop and asked if I could exchange. I got an e-mail back almost immediately saying no problem. The next day I shipped the skis back via FedEx and e-mailed the shop the tracking #. A few days after they were delivered I sent an e-mail asking for confirmation that they were received and if they could send me a tracking # for the ones being sent back to me. No reply. I tried calling the number on the shops website, no answer. At this point Ive sent multiple e-mails and try calling almost daily. No answer, no reply. I will be calling my credit card company to dispute charges.

Rented some e bikes here! The owner is super chill! Had tons of fun zipping around town. Will definitely be back!

I personally have always had a great experience walking into MWS Sports. Marty and his son Matthew have always helped me find the right skis or surf board for the winter and summer experiences. I havent had problems with either the skis or the surf board. Great experience, and if you want to stay local this is the place to go. Family owned and family operated. Thanks Marty!

Called on a Wednesday about renting ebikes on Friday. Guy on the phone said he had 4 bikes available for us. When we arrived this morning to get our rental, girl working rolled out 3 bikes, all apparently dead, and said that she didnt think they even had a 4th bike. She then rolled out a demo bike and didnt realize that it had no battery in it... When asked, she said they didnt have one for that bike. Girl was very uneducated on their process, their bikes or how they worked and could not get any of them to turn on. Was a pretty big waste of time on our vacation.

Super friendly and helpful owner. Makes me remember a time when stores had a small town feel with excellent customer service! Definitely recommend.

I had a great experience here. There arent many water sport stores in Central Oregon and so far this is the best Ive found. Great service and inventory. They ordered me the water ski I was looking for and made sure all my needs were met. I will definitely shop here again for my recreational needs and recommend this shop. Good job guys!

My wife and I went in to look at 2 long boards for our kids for Christmas. The owner Marty was awesome! Not only was he knowledgeable on the products, he was able to help my wife and I pick out a pair of new bikes for each other! On top of that he gave us a great deal! I would definitely recommend stopping by and checking these guys out!

Liked the equipment there. But it was cluttered and hard to find where to park. If I needed something I wouldnt choose to get it here because the store isnt organized. I was hoping it would be a nice place to look for bikes and equipment for water sports. But I just couldnt find anything in here.

Unfortunately it’s easy to post reviews. However after having read all the most recent reviews I have a hard time believing there is that much of a discrepancy in positive and negative reviews, in a place that’s truly legit. All the bad reviews have the same thing in common; uninformed staff, cluttered and unprofessional. And since I know at least some of these to be true because you can’t hide/deny a cluttered store, the fact that the person who is responding to ‘poor’ reviews in such an unprofessional manner, leads me to believe the rest are true as well. Some of these reviews just seem too specific to dispute. Unfortunately I will not be shopping here.

We have been renting river equipment from MWS Sports for years. Marty, the owner is very accommodating and easy going. His prices are much lower than his competitors. If you want to support local business, MWS Sports is your best choice!

Weird, weird, weird place. My girlfriend and I walked in because as a Bendite I am into most of the sports they provide gear for. Not only is it packed to the brim (it looked like my room when I was a teenager) but the man I assume is the owner followed us around trying to make small talk. I just wanted to shop in piece but he just kept following us. My gf made a commit about a jacket being cute and he responded saying I like it more when it goes out the door. We were the only people in there which made it even more uncomfortable. All and all I cant tell if he doesnt know how to sell, if he was checking out my gf, or he thought we were stealing but regardless it was uncomfortable.After looking at this mans responses to other reviews I should state that we were in fact in the store. Neither of us work for a rival company (because we all know that corporate espionage and sabotage is comman place in mom and pop shops). Furthermore, the owner is not willing to look in the mirror and correct his own issues. If he did self reflect on these types of reviews maybe more products would be going out the door

Awesome shop! I recently purchased a mountain bike from Matthew, he is very knowledgeable, but super easy-going and not pushy --my kind of shop! I love the bike that he recommended after listening to what my riding style is - perfect for C.O. singletrack.The shop isnt huge, but they fit a lot of amazing products in there; check out the KHS brand if you are in the market for a very well built, yet affordable bike.Put MWS on your short list for pretty much anything outdoors; when I was in there last they had snowboards/skis moving out and wake boards/kayaks coming in!

Customer service was non-existent. A younger guy I was able to briefly talk to claimed to be the owner and didnt seem to know much. Stuck up and mildly delusional about their brands (KTM does not make the industrys best mountain bikes). They DID trash other shops in town and their employees. Kinda weird that the bad reviews are replied with them saying these people never shopped there or are giving fake reviews. I find it hard for them to remember every customer (unless they dont get many). Sham sham on you sir. Do locals really go here?

Walked in just after 7pm store was closing but the employee stayed and fixed my bike FOR FREE. He took the time to show me the issue and how easy it was to fix. Thanks

A true mom and pop, family owned and operated shop.This place will blow you away. The amount of inventory, variety and space is just incredible. These guys have a lot of stuff. And with a lot of stuff comes a lot of variety. I just bought a brand new KHS 6500 for $2499. The bike retails for over 5k! And nearly 8 grand if I was ro buy the same bike from another company! Buying straight from a manufacture saves a lot money. Im not a buisness man but these guys know what theyre doing. Cant find better deals anywhere else. Will be back this winter to buy a pair of skis and maybe next summer for a paddleboard.Thank You MWS!

I cant believe this outdoor sports shop doesnt have a bunch of reviews! I became a customer when they were over on 3rd Ave, and really happy they are closer to the action in the Old Mill area just off Bond. Now they have more space for all the bikes, watersports, snowgear and more ... and are close to the waterpark, which is great for anyone wanting to buy a kayak, paddleboard or other watercraft on the way to the river. They are now really close to The Box Factory and not far from town, so you can rent a bike and get to town quick.There are THREE reasons I picked MWS.First is they are the only locally family owned business that carry bikes, which is what I was buying.Second, their prices are competitive, and I was able to get my bike for a significant cost savings over another well-known local bike shop.Third, I like the products they carry, and the fact they think about what products to sell that will offer the best balance between quality and value. For instance, did you know that KHS bikes manufacture bikes for other well-known brands that cost more? If you prefer to spend more money on those other big brands, you might want to go to another shop. But if you want to essentially buy your bike direct from the manufacturer, in this case, KHS ... you need to head to MWS Sports.Some of you may be wondering what service is like AFTER the purchase. I can tell you, its really good. No attitudes, just bring the bike in and well do what is necessary to get you back on your bike. There was a defect in one component of my drivetrain and they quickly got the part ordered and fixed. The bike is super sweet and I love it.The reason Im writing this review is to share my experience and let you know you should give this shop a look before making any buying decisions. I dont think youll be disappointed!
