I called the store and he was very helpful and informative. Once getting to the store after asking a few questions he figured out what bed was best for me, and got the best possible deal.

My old mattress was over 10 years old and my back started hurting in the mornings, so I knew I needed a new mattress A.S.A.P. I waited for Presidents Day, since mattress stores usually offer some type of deal. I know all mattress are waaaay over-priced, but since Mattress Firm offers zero-interest financing, it was a really good option for me to get a brand-new bed that I can pay a reasonable monthly fee to own in a few years. I essentially got $200 dollars off the whole thing, which was the price of the tax. I got a Sealy Hybrid Silver Chill Plush King size mattress. It has a 10 year warranty, which is reassuring. The cooling seems to actually work and the plush top makes it super comfy for a side sleeper like me.Travis R. was my salesman and he was funny and knowledgeable, and not pushy at all. While they dont have a super large selection, it seems they have quality pieces and he showed me a range of styles and prices. I did sleep for 9.5 hours my first night, and my back pain seems to be alleviating. I would recommend this place and store in particular if you need a new bed and understand the racket that is mattress sales and want a hassle-free buying experience.

Travis and Gene went above and beyond to help us resolve a delivery that never happened. We were just about to give up and just go to a different company and buy another mattress. You see we had a horrible experience with the staff at the Rosedale store. We had come in from out of town and were told the mattress never made it on the truck and we were not going to have a mattress for several days. Riley at the Rosedale store literally said I have nothing to do with this order just call another store (we did buy the mattress online and had received confirmation emails and texts less than a day before delivery). He was clearly stressed and just taking it out on customers.So I called another store and they advised the Shoal Creek store was closer and that Travis and Gene were super helpful which they were. We were able to reach a resolution and had a mattress that night. Look we weren’t looking to be made whole, I get that the store closest to UT was slammed but if I’ve paid for and received confirmation, I just wanted some type of workable solution. Travis showed us several alternatives and walked us through the options. We were done in minutes.It appears the mattresses are at the warehouse and not the store. So if you’re just looking to test mattresses don’t go to the Rosedale store, you’ll have a much better experience at the Shoal Creek location. I hope the company recognizes the value Travis and Gene bring in customer service and frankly helping with the reputation of the company because before they stepped in, I would never have returned to Mattress Firm. Travis followed up the next day and encouraged us to contact him if there were any other bumps in the road.

By far the best customer service in Austin! Travis helped us select the perfect bed and we were able to take advantage of the extended 4th of July Sale. I also visited Factory Mattress, Urban Mattress, and Matrezzz Guyzzz... this place takes the cake. Go see Travis - you won’t be disappointed !

I went in there Sunday and ordered two standard pillows for $30 each. My representative guaranteed me next day delivery, however, it didnt come in. He then told me Tuesday, but it didnt come in Tuesday either. To make matters worse, he said that he would call me back, but never did.The only reason why I am giving it 4 stars is because of Gene and the action he took to resolve the issue. Long story short, I walked out with two sleepy cool pillows that go for $100 each. Its not about the cost of pillows, but most importantly the action he took to make it right.Thank you Gene!

After dealing with numbness in every extremity and constant visits with the chiropractor, my husband and I knew it was time for a new mattress! We went to Mattress Firm on Allendale North because we heard they had Purple mattresses set up in their show room. We were immediately greeted by Gene, who never pressured us with upselling but rather asked us questions to better understand why and what type of mattress would best suit us. What I loved most about our experience was that we got to take ALL the time we needed with every single mattress we tried out in the store. There was no rush. In fact, it took three visits to make sure we were purchasing the perfect mattress and every time we were there, he answered every question we had, made great suggestions, and once again, allowed me to get a feel for each mattress as long as it took. So we went with the Purple Hybrid 3 and its been about a month now and my back hasnt felt this good in four years. My numbness and trips to the chiropractor have decreased immensely and every morning I wake up feeling excited that I slept so comfortably yet again! I really do credit the my experience at Allendale North for highly respecting the process of this major purchase and making sure I would feel more than comfortable with our final selection!

If you want the maximum up charge and spend 2x or 3x your budget and get asked to pay delivery go here. $5,000+ for a mid grade King bed and charge me $99 delivery? They wanted me to spend upwards of $7,000+ and still charge a delivery fee. I ended up going to a locally owned store who gave me better service and cost half as much. They also gave me free delivery and a matress cover. Dont get ripped off by a Matress Firm.
