Brought our car in back in July to have oil change, was told that the timing chain or seal may need to be replaced and we told him to do so. He then advised us to wait to have them re-check it in November because he said it was fine. We began seeing oil under our car... flash forward to last week. Brought it in the week of October 14th for diagnostic. Was told that we had a severe oil leak, and that the timing chain was deteriorating because of it. The cost for the entire repair? $4000! I called and asked the manager Aaron to email me a breakdown of repairs (parts and labor) but he immediately tells me that its just too in-depth of a repair so he can only send me a breakdown of $3000 of the $4000 repair (which he did) but that was very suspicious to me. We ended up taking our vehicle to another business here in Allen who did the repair (all the parts came in a kit), plus cleaned the engine, and did an oil change all for $900 out the door. I have no oil leak and my car no longer runs rough or stalls! If there was an oil leak back in July due to the timing chain or seal, and we were prepared to have them fix it then, Express Oil should have but instead waited till the oil leak was so bad and caused more damage so they can make more money on the repair! So glad we took it to another repair shop for a second opinion! Express Oil may have a lot of good reviews, but Im telling you, if you decide to go there, ask questions, and if they dont make sense then challenge what they say!!!

I have been coming here for a while now, and every time Aaron and his team are very nice and helpful. I usually just get standard maintenance, however i had gotten a crack in my windshield and not wanting to pay my high deductible I has asked Aaron, he was able to help me find a good local company to do it for a very fair price! ( they did an awesome job on my window ) I have now decided I will be taking all my cars to Aaron and his team henceforth because, I know i will be treated fairly no matter what. They take great care in explaining everything so I understand it fully. MASSIVE KUDOS YOU GUYS!!!

Disappointing service and rude manager! Dont book an appointment online! I booked an appointment online for an oil change and tire rotation. When I got there they said they can do the oil change but not the tire rotation. When I told them I booked an appointment online they told me they dont honor their online appointments and online appointments are useless and then proceeded to tell me there were no mechanics and previous day jobs blah blah.. Another guy came with his truck and they told him they will attend to him. The manager I talked to was very rude and said he doesnt care if I made an appointment online. If you dont care about online appointments why do you let people make appointments and not honor them?

I got quick service and was given a fair price. Did not feel as if I were being raked over the coals. The manager and the other employees were extremely friendly and professional. Will gladly continue to take my vehicles here!

Wow I don’t understand the few bad reviews this place has had..well I kinda do with them having some new faces but Aaron has been great to not only me but my whole family literally my mom drives a hr to see him because they fixed her car completely that another shop (Allen car care) couldn’t figure out and kept charging for this that and the other but still had the same problem over and over. She took it to Aaron and his team no problem anymore. They do charge a lil more then some others around but in my opinion the quality out weighs the cost and he has gone over and above to make sure the job is done completely not halfas*. My mother actually did the math after Expressoil fixed her car after going back 5 times to Allen car care and 1 time to Kwik Kar she ended up spending almost 2K more then Expressoil. She even ended up getting things fixed that Aaron told her that would be covered under warranty with the other place because she was done dealing with them.

Aaron and his team went above and beyond my expectations! I’ve taken several vehicles there and always receive excellent and timely service. Extremely knowledgeable team and very professional! Aaron and his crew made our experience there one of the best of my life. They dug deep to find out what was wrong with all of my suspension. Another shop had messed it all up. They fixed it. They even went out of their way to drop off tires at another shop for us. We drove 2 hours to leave my vehicle with them. Came in for a oil change and tire rotation with balance. I normally come here because of friendly staff to see all new facesI did not get my tires rotated or balances but was charged for it then was told to come back because equipment failed for the rotation and balance came in on Saturday no one their had a clue manager looked as lost as his employees.

Very nice men that work here! It is a place you need to pull your car through which caused some confusion for not only me, but others. The men that worked there were extremely nice throughout the process and communicated well.

They filled my windshield reservoir with antifreeze. Agreed to flush the coolant system b/c they have no idea what/ if anything they put in there. Sam (mgr) argued about refunding the $119 oil change claiming that everything was fine with it. Offered a free oil change as if I’d ever come back after this. Unbelievable how they can screw up something as simple as an oil change.

Brought vehicle in for oil change and they try to sell me a brake job. Got a second opinion on brake system and it was fine. I question their honesty and mechanical aptitude. I didn’t even let them change the oil.

Had them check out my truck for running hot. They told me the entire cooling system needed to be replaced at $1,700. Brought truck to a different shop, radiator needed to be replaced for $650. Definitely do not recommend doing business with these folks.They also charged me $117 for the bad diagnosis.

Great place. I tool my Range Rover to them, I did get own filter (this is a must), and they did an incredbile job. Much cheaper vs. dealer and it took only 20 minutes, while I was in the car. A+! Will be back.

This weekend our Honda Pilot decided to not start after a car wash, right near to Express Oil. They came over and tried to restart my car and when the decided it was the starter, they were kind enough to tow me over to their shop. They fixed our Honda in a short time. These guys went above and beyond for me! I had no idea what was wrong with my car when the check engine light came on and they made me feel comfortable and had all the answers to my questions. They were also super fast with the service so that I was able to get back on the road! Highly recommend this shop, I will personally be going back for all my car maintenance needs.

I have previously used this company but this time I went to the 10 minute oil change. There was a car in each bay when I pulled up but none waiting I sat there for 20 minutes and no one talked to me. A car pulled up next to me an they came out and talked to him. The car in front of him moved and they pulled him in and still no one said a word to me. I waited 5 more minutes backed up and left and no one cared that I left. Went to another oil change that walked up to my car as soon as I pulled up. They are interested in my business.

Update:I drove back on Monday March 29 to address previous 2 problem I posted.This time another technician is on duty. He is very friendly and resolve the 2nd problem. Inflate tires and put caps on rear tires. This is ok.For the 1st problem, he said my Hyundai Elantra model has this defect. He said this model will show high at dip stick but actually it is in normal. range. That is manufacturer defect and I should not worry about it. He also said if I go back to the dealer they will tell me the same. This make me very confused. I am the 1st owner of this car and no other technician ever told me this problem before. I got pretty busy schedule last week but will stop by the dealer this week and ask their 2nd opinion. I still not sure should I change my oil again to restore it back into normal oil range? or whatever the technician said is true.To the owner of Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers,I got your voice message last week after I stop by your shop on Monday. If you think you can help change oil again to restore it back to normal dip stick range, please text me again. If you think your 2nd technician is correct(He said is manufacturers defect), then I would like to find 2nd opinion from other technician. Thank you.===================Original post:I drove by and order a basic oil change service on Thursday March 25, 2021. The job is NOT done correctly.1. The service technician, a young guy, put too much oil into my engine. This guy only pull out dip stick once and show me it is correct oil level after he added the oil. I check the engine oil level 2 days later during weekend. It is way over the highest limit. Pull the dip stick and wipe it out and put the stick in again. It shows the oil is over the highest level. Now I have to drive back next week to get it into correct level oil range. What a waste of my time!2. I ask the technician to inflate my tires. I double check the tire pressure on weekend and realize this guy not put back tire valve caps to both my rear side tires. The tire pressure is below 33 psi on front passenger. What a lousy service I got?I got charged $54 and very lousy service. Do not know if this guy is new in his job but he is not qualified to this job.

Definitely a great service. I drive a Fiat 500 and a lot of oil change spots wont service my vehicle. I called ahead of time. Confirmed with I believe Daniel or Ryan on the phone, came in got my oil changed and complete quickly. Everything seemed clean, everyone was sanitizing and wearing masks and I didnt have to leave my vehicle at all.

Daniel gave excellent service. He informed me of an oil pan leek within 2 minutes of arrival.I went to sit in lobby and they were done in less than 10 minutes.Offer a further diagnostic but no pressure.

Havent been served here, have tried many times because the location is convenient.Three times Ive come here: twice for an inspection, once for an oil change, each time Ive been greeted with the news that their Machine is down and been turned away.Either their machine is genuinely broken each time I come in, or the employees just arent in the mood to work when I pull up. Regardless Im done trying to come here for service.

Horrible customer service extremely disrespectful told me I have a horrible car and demanded me off his lot

Yesterday, I called Aaron at 4:30pm and asked him does he have time to do the fuel injection cleaning service he said yes. After, work I make it here to this shop before they closed at 6pm and one of the service guys was able to do the fuel injection cleaning service for me before closing he said it was going to be 30 minutes but, it took him only 15 to 20 minutes. When everything was done my car was running very smoothly again. I would recommend coming back to this shop if I need any other services done in the future.

I used this place faithfully for the last year but now I realize I’ve been scammed. I bought 4 BRAND new tires from here and received an alignment (or so I thought). Just recently went here to get another alignment done and was told I needed a new axle ($1700 job). I declined. (Btw, I went to Toyota after this visit and they found NO issues with my axle. They did tell me the alignment I got previously was shotty). I was then told I needed NEW TIRES because the ones I have are almost bald. What? I bought these tires from them less than a year ago and I have not put even 6k miles on my car since then. The service guy had no idea I bought my tires from them but the manager KNEW I bought tires from him less than a year ago because he sold them to me himself. Seeing my frustration, the manager walked over and I immediately triggered him to call tire company and get me under warranty. After several calls to him, he tells me that his guy “over exaggerated” how bad my tires were and he could get me new ones at employee discount price. Needless to say, I contacted my brother, an attorney, and I am looking at all options. It’s the principle. This place is disgusting and their operations are deceptive. I will NEVER come back here.

The manager Aaron went above and beyond. My car broke down and I live really close so he came out to see if he could get it started to get to the shop. He and his partner worked to figure it out and they did. Unfortunately it was not a fix that could get it to the shop independently, I needed to get a tow...no problem. But the tow would not show up until after the business closed. Well they waited for my car and texted me to know they had received the keys.They then kept me updated every step of the way.I wish I could give this place 100 stars. Thank you!! I was in a bind and they really helped me out.

Terrible service..Says 10 minutes but they will take forever..Also unprofessional mechanics..I took my truck there for oil change since then I have been having different issues with my truck..They wanted to do some service but I declined it.. God knows what they did to my truck..Stay away if u have better option..
