I took my car to them without an appointment because the radiator and thermostat blew up while I was driving and had to tow it to the nearest automotive shop. Without hesitation and with the utmost courtesy and empathy, they took my car and said theyd have someone on it soon. They drove me home, which was very gracious of them to do. Since I took it to them without any heads up, I figured it wouldnt be that quick, but the next day they were already calling me telling me the issue and covering with me in a very simplified and understanding way how much it would cost and what I needed to get my car up to par. Holly was so nice and easy to talk with and their interactive app was very usable. I had more issues with my front end suspension that I knew needed to be addressed and they made sure my main issue wasnt the cause of my suspension problems. They were very thoughtful and were never pushy. I checked my car in on a Tuesday and with all of the problems I had, got it back on a Friday. I was working when they called, so I knew I wasnt going to get it before they closed. They offered to drive my car back to my house!! That is awesome service. God bless you Christian Brothers! I love this place! This place is wonderful.You walk in and they all say hi with a big smile, call you by name and ask you how things are going. They make you feel like family.I have recently started taking my vehicles here bc my husband, who was a mechanic for 30 yrs and took care of our vehicles, passed away in April. I needed to find a place that would take care of my vehicles the way my husband did without over charging me and doing unnecessary work. I was referred here by a friend and neighbor.I took my vehicles here first for oil changes then to have my husbands truck looked over for the winter. Kevin Peak was a big help has been such a blessing. He explained the findings on my husbands truck, areas of concern from highest to lowest. He has made this very difficult transition very easy, smooth and stress free. I needed my annual state vehicle inspection, it was performed in a very timely manner. I experienced nothing but cordial and friendly service during my entire visit.

As always, the employees were very nice and welcoming. They were sure to offer me a ride to and from my home.I was kept well informed of the status and cost of my work. I was even provided additional information when I was weighing the possibility of purchasing a more expensive tire option. I was advised of the differences and similarities (with no pressure) and allowed to make the best decision for me. Their goal was to provide the BEST option as cost effectively as possible. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!! DO NOT. THEY HAVE COMPLETELY DESTROYED OUR VEHICLE & USED SEMANTICS to cover it up. We saw the reviews and felt like we found a good place went back in Feb. for an oil change. End of June we need an inspection for registration. Had them fix little things to pass and were told of a few major fixes. 2 weeks later our battery died...we had just replaced it. When our tow truck driver arrived he noticed the battery was expired. We thought thats weird but took it back here anyways. We say just fix everything that would keep the vehicle safe (since they gave us a laundry list of issues). We pick up the truck its fine for a WEEK then it catches fire, dies and we are towing it back. 4 days later they finally call and say well there is a crack in the engine and now the truck is completely done for. We ask why this wasnt addressed or fixed during our recent visits and we are told he mentioned it the FIRST time we had been there in Feb. For an oil change. So we ask why this wasnt mentioned again the last TWO times weve been in and we are told well inspection isnt us looking at the engine we just open the hood and check visually. Okay but when the battery died and we asked you to fix anything else and run a diagnostic at that time why was it not fixed then. Well again we just kind of look over the top and make sure everything is running...so you didnt even actually check my car, you didnt do anything. Instead now I am out a vehicle due to the negligence of the mechanics. Dont risk it. They arent even actually working on your vehicles they are barely even running full diagnostics on it. Terrible service and terrible customer care/consideration.

They were very welcoming and friendly. I needed a new key fob programmed. It took approximately 20 minutes to complete the job. The price was only $55 +tax. Another company quoted me a price of $125. They are honest, perform a thorough inspection, inform and recommend what work needs to be performed and let you decide without pressuring or trying to add on “additional work.” We will continue to use Christian Brothers for our automobile repair and maintenance and highly recommend them.

They did annual inspection for car license renewal. Didn’t need an appointment. Inspection was done in about 20 minutes. They charged only $15. And gave me a free soda.

This the greatest place for anything car. The nicest staff and knowledgeable and honest. Every experience has been excellent from car inspection, to towing needed for battery rellacement and other repairs.

Outstanding professionalism and very friendly service from everyone in the front of the shop. I would recommend the service. However, I was disappointed in some of the lack of cleanliness around the drivers side seat armrest steering wheel. Some grease marks were overlooked when Service was completed. Other than that I thought everything was fine.

When we look for a body shop, the most important factor is honesty and integrity. It is no doubtful that people working there are trustworthy and reliable. I dropped off my car there for oil change. After parking my car in the garage for two days, I found a big oil stain under my car. I took my car to have them checking what happened. Alex was so honest to tell me that the drain plug was not being tightened all the way. The technician took care the issue and refuel oil for no charge. Moreover, they offered cleaning oil stain in my garage. However, I was in a hurry to go to work so Alex said that I can call them and they will come over taking care of it. They are so professional and honest. You can count on them.

I always love to use Christian Brothers. Theyre so kind and courteous when you enter the lobby. I feel like a friend not a customer. Im not just another number. I know that automotive shops are always busy, but no matter how busy, every Christian Brothers location Ive ever used its always provided the utmost quality and good value for your hard-earned dollars. I even was offered something to drink and a ride back to my house. They even rinsed my car off for me it was a little dirty on the outside and made it look new and pulled it up to the door for me as well. That is top-notch customer service. I drove about 40 miles to this location because I used to live in Allen before I bought my house in Mesquite. I remember the kindness they paid me when I needed I repair on my car last minute and made me feel welcomes and not an inconvenience. I needed to get my state vehicle inspection done during my lunch break, and these guys were able to fit me in same day. They offered a shuttle ride if I needed to be back at work before they were finished, but I chose to wait there. They had seating inside and outside, and it was actually clean and quiet. The front desk attendant was kind and polite. Best of all, they were done 20 to 30 minutes faster than they had originally told me! These guys are great, and Ill definitely keep them in mind for other services.

Saw that this place had really good reviews so I decided to get an oil change and tire rotation. I heard stories of scam auto shops not actually rotating tires so I decided to take pictures of the tires. It took like 4 hours but that was fine since I was a walk in. They warned me it would take a while so can’t complain there. After I paid for the oil change and tire rotations, I went to my car and sanity checked the tires. They didn’t rotate them… They claimed that they don’t rotate tires if it’s not necessary. Alright, then why did I still get charged? Probably wouldn’t have blinked an eye if I didn’t take pictures.They gave me a refund and I was on my way. Based on the many good reviews, I’ll give this place the benefit of the doubt that there was some miscommunication. But I ain’t going back.

Manny and Kevin are really friendly and professional, at the same time. They took me to my work(at Allen HS), and this is a convenient location. I felt comfortable leaving my car with them. These guys are also very good at communicating what my car needs. I highly recommend them they also matched prices at another oil change place.

Went to get my inspection done, best experience I’ve ever had hands down. They told me the first inspection is free which was such a huge bonus, then they had my car completed in 25 min, checked tires and fluid levels, and pulled my car to the door so I didn’t even have to walk into the parking lot. Plus they are incredibly friendly and the waiting room is so much more comfortable than a standard auto shop.I will recommend them to everyone I know, fantastic place!!!!

Update: 8-17-21I took my vehicle simply to get a state inspection. I dropped off my vehicle before work through their drop off slot and was notified when the inspection was completed. I paid over the phone and asked they leave the keys in the vehicle for a contact free experience. I later realized the amount they charged me was less than the amount on the state inspection report. I am not about bad karma so I called to let them know that I was undercharged. I spoke to Alex, which by the way is extremely polite and friendly, that assured me that I was charged correctly and thats the way the take care of their customers. Thanks Christian Brothers for another great experience.Original Post:I have had 3 vehicles serviced in the past few weeks. During the pandemic, they really know how to keep things safe and contactless. Ill say their contactless service is great! You make an appointment first. Theres a envelope packet located right of the door and you fill it out, put your keys in and drop it through the slot and wait for a call when to pick up. You can pay over the phone and they will have the car with the keys in it right at the time you arrive. As someone who has a high risk person in the household, this made me feel at ease. I will also mention, Manny which is most likely the person you will speak to when your car is ready to be picked up is cordial, prompt and informative. I hope they keep the contactless option available even with the relaxed guidelines from the CDC.

I took my truck in for an inspection of what was an obvious brake issue. They said the brakes are ok,however there are these other issues!

I needed an inspection for my vehicle. They checked my tire pressure, although I did not purchase tires from them. They have provided services for other family vehicles. Clean, relaxing waiting area, enjoy the music they play. When my car was ready they said it was on them, no charge, such a nice gesture! I will pay it forward!!

Id run out of options for diagnosing some problems with my car, and decided to leave it to the professionals. Christian Brothers is staple in my family, and any time we need auto care, theyre the first place we call. The guys at the front desk, the shuttle drivers, and the mechanics are all professional, yet friendly. Theyre down to earth people that are knowledgeable about what they do, and do a great job analyzing a car, using pictures and descriptions to help you understand what theyre talking about. Their prices are very reasonable as well, which should make this place your 1st choice every time your vehicle needs maintenance.(They also do an excellent and fast job doing standard car inspections for tag renewals.)

I took my car in for servicing of a recurrent electrical issue. Because I had previously taken my car to Chevy, who addressed the same issue, the staff at CBA recommended I return to Chevy under warranty in order to save money. He could have easily taken my business, but sincerely wanted me to save money if at all possible. And while Chevy was able to resolve the issue, because it was related to their original work, it was thanks to CBA that I saved the money and took advantage of the warranty. You just dont find this kind of customer service in the auto industry, and its challenging in general to find people who sincerely serve others. Purely because of this customer service, we will absolutely be using CBA from now on!

We recently relocated from PA and needed an inspection as part of the TX registration process. They were able to give me a same day appointment. It was quick and the employees were very pleasant to deal with. We have another vehicle we will be bringing for TX inspection along with any future vehicle maintenance or repair needs.

I called in and requested a quote for A/C service and replacement of two Shrader valves.Was told I’d receive a quote within 15-20 minutes.Next day, received an automated message to please rate my experience.Called place of business and said I’d be happy to give a rating but could not because I had not received a quote by phone text or email.Spoke with Gavin.He took down all of the information for the quote and said somebody would contact me, again in 15-20 minutes.Called back 3 hours later and Gavin answered the phone.I informed him that no quote had been received.Gavin then proceeded to produce a quote from his computer.After receiving the quote, I declined service because the quote was almost 3x more expensive than the other 3 quotes I’d received.I’ve done business with this company before and once was stellar service and reasonably priced.Made inquiries over the past two years and have grown weary by the service and price quotes no longer being competitive.I’m only writing this review because I now have four more requests to review.

I just moved to Dallas and needed to get my car inspected before I could transfer my title and get license plates. At Christian Brothers Automotive they were so friendly and got me in and out. They were professional and you could tell that they were honest and cares about the people, not just the cars. I will definitely go back if have automotive issues with my vehicle. I have done annual car inspections in other auto repair shops before like Kxxx kxx. and they will help you find out many “problems” and ask you to repair it, other wise you will not be able to pass the annual inspection, even if you are driving a new car. This car repair shop will let you know the real situation of your car, and their employees are very nice and professional. The waiting room was very clean and smell-free, and even the restroom was clean and smell-free. highly recommended!

The employees there were very helpful and courteous. The gentlemen answered all of my questions and explained everything in detail. I asked them to give my car a bumper-to-bumper inspection to ensure the car was safe enough to give to my son. I was expecting them to find something wrong and it would end up being pricey. They found the car to be in good condition with nothing wrong except for a blown headlight. When I was told that all I owed was $25, I told him that he made a mistake with the bill - that I didnt owe $25. I told him to check again because I was positive that I owed more than he charged. He smiled and said that the bulb for the headlight was a simple thing to install and the inspection was free. I was amazed. I was used to paying $40 - $75 to install a headlight at a different shop, and $150 for an inspection. This was my 2nd experience with this shop and I would recommend them to anyone needing service. I believe the people there are good, honest, and trustworthy.

The results of the inspection they provided were comprehensive, easy to understand, and came with pictures that clearly showed what needed to be fixed. I appreciated their transparency and timeliness. They make it easy to accept or decline repairs and never do work without your approval. I was very happy with the services and customer service I received here. I ended up not doing all the repairs (the cost was about the worth of my car which is 13 years old and has over 130,000 miles so no surprise there.) but was still happy with what I did get done. They also have a complimentary shuttle which makes dropping off and picking up your Vehicle Much more Convenient. If you’re looking for honest, professional, mechanics look no further.
