They really earned 0 stars. We upgraded 2 devices and they sent us home with 2 devices not set up so we had to call Verizon from home and spend over an hour on the phone with support to get them set up. They gave us a prepaid box and label for the 2 devices and a month later I am being charged because they said they havent received them. I spent another 30 minutes on the phone with support because this location wont answer the phone however they still cannot find the tracking numbers. Apparently the store did not add the tracking number to the order.

Haha what a joke! I guess they close whenever they want to. 2 hours early today. Wouldn’t have been that big of a deal but when I checked the reviews apparently they do this often. Two hours early?!?!? Must be nice to just close whoever you feel like. Had to tell 3 or 4 other families walking up that they were closed as I walked to my car. Missed out on a lot of business… apparent laziness. Sorry Verizon but y’all need to do better.

I needed a new phone as mine was old and won’t stay charged nor enough storage. Amanda was fabulous helping me choose a new one .I received it a day or so later . This is where problems started . It was supposed to be a very simple transfer of everything from old to new phone .Purpose of getting a NEW phone because of lack of storage. I did not have enough storage to transfer anything. Called 800# no help …. So next day I went to the store as I really need a live person to HELP me.I drove 40 minutes to get there . I go in and speak with the guy inside with the clipboard/ tablet (whatever)I explained issues and he immediately said we don’t do that here in the store you’ll have to CALL the 800#I explained I had already done that with no help that’s why I’m here . I NEED HELP! He took my old phone in hand clicked a couple things and said there I’ve freed up 5 gigs it’ll let you transfer now. I asked if I could have a seat and do it there as I did not want any more issues and if I needed help I would not have to come back . No …. One in one out …. I’m so very frustrated already and he’s not even nice or concerned and absolutely NO customer service skills . He’s a rude little short guy . I told him if it doesn’t work I’ll be back . He shrugged his shoulders ( whatever was how I took it) I went to a nearby restaurant to sit with WiFi and try to get it to transfer . For THREE HOURS I tried!!! Of course I did NOT go back over to Verizon store as now I’m very very very frustrated and I pride myself to being kind …… it would NOT have been a good thing at this point .I just want to say because of this rude boy I had a very bad experience. I think his name was Jeremy however I could be wrong . Short stalky not much hair .He needs to be kind and learn a lot about customer service skills . Work without an attitude!!!! There are a lot of us out here that spend hard earned money and NEED assistance with technology.I don’t wish anyone to lose their job but take more pride in their craft and always be kind helpful and patient with those of us that ask for HELP

Went in when they opened at 10, got seen right away. Microphone wasnt working on a brand new phone, employee looked at it and saw no damage, order me a new phone. Very simple and quick resolution was found. Thank you. 5 Stars

I will second the last few reviews- wish there was a ZERO stars. Worst store and customer experience I have EVER experienced. I bought a phone yesterday (7/5), had an APPOINTMENT scheduled at 5:30 (7/5). I had to leave work 45 min early to get to this appointment. Arrived at 5:10 and the store was shut down. No one there. I called corporate Verizon and they called the store and no pickup- they apologized and didn’t understand either as the store was supposed to be open until 6 that day (day after 4th of July so slightly different hours). So today I go back (7/6)… the hours are until 8 pm. I get to the store at 5:55 and there’s a note on the door that says temporarily closed. I call Corporate again and as I’m waiting, two young employees walk out. They are holding a phone I have already paid for and if I don’t get it within a certain time frame, I lose the phone reservation. They told me that they closed at 6 and rudely pointed to the sign. I told them about my appointment yesterday that someone clearly didn’t care about, and she refused to let Me in and get my phone. She told me to come back tomorrow at 10 am. It’s clear that they have some pretty lazy employees that just don’t want to work and could care less that it affects their customers. I will absolutely be asking for a manager tomorrow to tell them about the last two days experience and will NEVER use this store again.

If I could give this zero stars I would. It was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I had an appointment 2 and 1/2 hours later I still was not helped. Jeremy had the worst attitude and the other guy in the store did not even come over to see if he could help. Then I was left in the store while they were in the back for over 20 by myself. DO NOT COME HERE I AM SWITCHING PROVIDERS!!!

Go to any other store. Worst ran store I have ever been to. Seriously look at all my reviews and see I normally only leave great reviews. 2nd time here and still waiting hrs to be helped. Manager is standing at the door just taking reservations. He should know how to help customers. Im here to buy new phones for the 2nd time and for the 2nd time, I wil be leaving without a ph.

Helpful, knowledgeable and patient staff but it would’ve been nice if someone told me the phone I was buying didn’t come with a charging port. I left with a new phone and now I need to figure out what kind of charging box I need. Also found out when I opened the box that the phone didn’t come with headphones/ air pods. I came in on whim for diagnostic issues and came to realize I needed to buy a new phone. Didn’t have time to do any of this research before hand. Adds a bit of an inconvenience but not a huge deal, hopefully this review can provide a training opportunity for the staff.

Amanda went above and beyond what is required of her. We had an unfortunate experience earlier in the day at another Verizon store in Wilmington. I was truly upset because I had never had a bad experience with Verizon. I was honestly ready to close our account.However, Amanda seriously changed that. She is patient, listens, and truly the type of person you would want to work with at Verizon.

This location now has a security guard. Says a lot. Between customer no service and 800 customer no service, 2 attempts to visit in store and 3 phone calls, 1 1/2 hours later, still no one would give me complete information to attend to my business account. Manager was extremely unfriendly and could have not cared less about me walking away.

I am basing my 5 star review solely on my two experiences visiting this Verizon store to make a payment towards my bill. The store was always clean and the displays were nicely arranged. There has been ample parking and each time I entered, despite the number of other customers, I was greeted promptly and in a welcoming manner by a staff member.I found it easy to get my payment processed as they each have a tablet that can quickly connect them to your account. I have always been offered extra assistance and was met with a smile when I politely declined.

This place seems designed to make it difficult to compare devices apples to apples. There were at least 4 areas where Samsung galaxy phones were on display, and the specs were not displayed. You had to scroll through each phone to see the specs and price (some devices you had to ask a sales person for the price). When I asked a sales person for a spec comparison they told me to Google it.

My sister, niece and I visited this Verizon location yesterday and had the BEST experience!! Our Solutions Specialist, Larry, really took the time to actually HEAR what the phone issue was and went ABOVE and BEYOND in providing me with the utmost quality customer service!!!! If you are looking for an extremely kind, knowledgeable and patient Verizon representative, visit this Verizon store and ask for him!!!!

This is the only Verizon store I will visit in the Wilmington area. Everyone here will actually sit down with you and help you out to their best abilities, unlike the other stores where theyll say sorry, theres nothing we can do. Every employee is super nice and right there with you as soon as you walk into the door. Ive never had a bad experience with coming to this location.

Just left this store, flabbergasted by the poor customer service. The initial guy that greeted us was awesome, even fooled around with our phone while we waited for someone to assist. Cut to the guy with the tablet-didn’t catch his name, black hair-super arrogant. Our phone wouldn’t turn on-he abruptly asks us a few questions, never makes eye contact, then proceeds to say, “you owe $500 on your phone and don’t carry our insurance, theirs nothing I can do for you” and shrugs his shoulders. Really? I asked if I could send it in to be looked at-he says well it’s 13 months old, the warranty ends at 12. So that’s kinda pointless. Really? I mean even if all this is completely factual-the arrogance and attitude from this guy was unreal. I’ll never step foot back into that Verizon again-

I have been working with Jessica for five years, first with a personal account, and now with a business account. Above and beyond, normal customer service is what she has always provided. I had the pleasure of meeting Hannah yesterday. Jessica was not there and I had an issue that needed to be handled right away. Hannah was awesome! She not only handled the other rep, that was not too happy, by saying lets work together to try to get this issue handled for the customer but then proceeded to talk my elderly father in law through the process. This is what we want, reps that are willing to listen to a problem, help with an answer, and then a step further and actually understand and care for someone who may not know all the ins and outs of technology. Thank you Hannah and Jessica, from the bottom of my heart. You make it a pleasure and worth every penny to deal with Verizon Wireless!

My experience was so bad I left Verizon. If Im going to pay top dollar for the best cell service I should have all around top shelf service. It was garbage and If I was the type to be offended I certainly would have been.I went in to renew my corporate discount that I get through my employer who Im sure has nearly 100k accounts with them. Its a big company so not everyone has the same proof, but I have many coworkers in the same situation as me that have never had any problems getting the discount.I brought multiple documents that clearly prove I still work for the same company that furnishes the discount. And I was told at two different locations(I work on the road) that these documents would be sufficient so I gathered them at home and went to renew it. The employees(one sales employee and a manager) not only did absolutely nothing to help sort this out the way that people from other stores said it could be done, but they made me feel as if they thought I was lying and treated me as if I was trying to scam their system.After about half an hour of getting nowhere with the manager I told the sales associate I wanted to pay off my phone in case I decided to switch services. But I clearly said I would stay with Verizon for now... two weeks later I tried to change my plan to unlimited and got a notification that I had a line disconnect scheduled and I had to cancel that in order to change my plan.Even with my discount I still paid substantially more for Verizon than my current carrier. But I did so for the quality cell and customer service. After all that I decided it was not at all worth it and these giant, expensive carriers should not be able to do this. I left. And my current provider tmobile has infinitely better customer service, high speeds, and increasingly larger coverage. Not to mention a stellar price. Even overseas I had fantastic service and data and texts included in my plan there.

Laura helped my wife and I on an extremely busy Saturday afternoon. Lets face it , no one wants to hang around a Verizon store all day. I. Fact I can think of 15 places if rather visit right off of the top of my head. Employees are no exception . However Laura was a pillar in a pier for us. She had us set up with upgraded phones and a business plan to save us alot of money in a very efficient manner.Its a breath of fresh air in a world gone mad .With the customer placing unfair expectations on a business and then holding the establishment hostage with the threat of a bad review when most of the problems theyre having stem from things unrelated to Verizon or any of its associates.I cant speak to the competency of her fellow associates at this location. However if theyre cut from the same gem that Laura was chiseled from theyd all get 5 Stars. Bravo.

I visited this store a few weeks ago to get help activating an iphone. Although we ended up being unable to use the iphone because it was still locked by the previous owner - Erin was extremely helpful! If I could give zero stars I would. On April 23 around 1:30pm I entered this store with my daughter who has an upgrade the beginning of May. She is deciding between a couple of different phones and wanted to look at them. Immediately I was approached by a young woman offering to help. When I examined her upgrade was in a week she left abruptly. After looking at different phones I approached TWO employees (same young woman and a man) talking and asked for information about the Google phones vs the iPhone. They both ignored me. I asked about unlimited storage on the Google phone and she walked around me saying sorry she need to see actual customers. Well I have a family of 6 and 5 lines with Verizon. I have never been dismissed like this in a store EVER. It left such a bad taste in my mouth I am now thinking of switching to carriers.

Horrible customer service. I was told it would be a 15-20 minute and after 40 minutes I still hadnt been helped and they couldnt tell me how much longer it would be. Two people, who came in after me, were being helped before me. I asked one of the employees about it and they said they didnt know I was still waiting (I hadnt moved from my seat). I gave them 10 more minutes and when I still wasnt helped I left. When I first arrived they did the same thing to someone else. I wont be coming back to this store again.

Excellent Customer Service. Everyone in the store was friendly and helpful. We worked with Jessica who did an outstanding job in setting up our iphone upgrades.We have a Verizon store in Southport, NC that is terrible. All the salesman wanted to do was sell me a Android/Samsung device which I told him from the beginning I wasnt interested in. He keep pushing the Samsung in various and disrespectful ways to me and I finally walked out of the store.
