I wish I had trusted my instincts and not gotten a system from a door-to-door salesman, especially one who showed up right after I moved in. Service is horrible with no follow up. They made empty promises to rectify my issues with the motion detector and never showed nor are they easy to get ahold of. One camera was Incorrectly installed in my siding and not in the frame of my door and the other camera I recieved doesnt work. Now I have a system that barely works and damaged siding. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

We werent happy at all with the cameras and when we reached out to cancel they told us no. It had only been a week. They said they didn’t have a trial period and that we could not break our contract. I don’t recommend. Go someone like ADP where it is slightly cheaper, with more, and better reviews, and they have a trial of 30 days I believe.

The salesman who came to our house was very professional, knowledgeable & courteously. He answered all of our questions & helped us design a system that my wife & I are very happy with.The install tech who came to our home was just as professional, knowledgeable & courteous. He explained every component of the system & how it worked. He walked is both through every function of our new system.Now I can feel comfortable knowing my home is secure while my family is home & away. I definitely recommend Power Home Technologies to anyone looking for a home security system.

Henry came by after I moved in. He wasnt pushy at all. I thought about getting a system but I wasnt sure. Less than 2 weeks after I moved in, I was burglarized. Anthony came back to install my system. He was very patient and walked me through everything very calmly and was a great teacher. I love all of the features and I am looking forward to feeling safe in my new home!!

My experience was awesome! I had just moved in, house came with a system, outdated and my salesperson taught me the history and background of Power Home Technologies, I was able to decide securely to purchase this system. It is affordable, smart, and it works when the power is out! I highly recommend this package!

Stopped by right when I moved it and spent 15 minutes trying to convince me why ADT was bad and they were better. Ive been with ADT for years and never had a issue. Ill stick with them, thanks. No idea who you or your company are. They drive around in a brinks car, but they arent with brinks! Careful!!

Had someone from this company come to my door to sell me a system. I have a sign on my door that says no sales or soliciting they still proceeded to knock on my door several times until I answered. After telling me they work for Brinks, which was not the case, they proceeded to continue to try and sell me a system after I said I was not interested. I have no idea the quality of their service in homes but as far as a first impressions I was not happy. Please dont be so pushy when youre trying to get new customers.

I have been a customer with PHT for a few months now. I love the way I can activate my alarm through my phone. I also get an alert as soon as my alarm goes off through my cell. My daughter was cooking one day and forgot to turn off the hood over the stove and activated the smoke alarm. The fire department was there within minutes!!! I never even called them. That kind of feeling I got knowing my home and my family are safe means a lot. Thank you PHT!!

Worst alarm company ever. Cameras don’t work and alarm system goes out on a daily basis. There has been days when I turned my system on and we can still up doors and windows with out setting the alarm off. The customer service is horrible and they take weeks to try and fix any issues that might arise. Buyers Beaware!!!!!

Henry Martin came to our new home the same day we had gotten a system installed from another company, and gave us an excellent presentation. Henry had actually sold the previous homeowner a PHT /Brinks system, which was pretty cool. I appreciated that he explained how he happened to know we just moved in too, and wasnt just casing the neighborhood. He showed us his companys ratings compared to our current company and video from WAVY-10 about how their system caught thieves within 10 minutes. Henry explained PHTs patented technology for the fastest response time and how excellent the customer service team was after hours. In the end, PHT was able to give us more equipment for less per month than what we had just gotten. So we cancelled our contract with the first company, and got a Brinks system installed a few minutes ago.I am already more impressed. The user interface for the mobile app and desktop site is very user-friendly, and you can set up custom alerts for everything. Henry and departments of the company have followed up with text messages and emails or phone calls the whole time, making sure installation was going well and they even texted when they were on their way. They have a very sophisticated operation.

DO NOT, I repeat, do NOT come to my home at 9:00PM to solicit, even though there is a sign explicitly stating “NO SOLICITING” in the window. Any business that would condone repeatedly knocking on the door and ringing the doorbell endlessly in order to get a response, again at 9:00PM on a week night , is not a company worth investing in. Please Read!If you desire live feed, constant recording streamed to a device, or high quality, updated security, there are options out there, PowerHome security/ Monotronics just isnt one.Heres my story...After installation I gave a good review because we recieved great customer service and the gentleman who came to install the system was quick- yet patient. However, just before our 1yr of being in our first home, the nightmares began- LITERALLY!1.Someone stole our christmas lighting right off the front lawn- camera didnt trip, no footage.2. Someone stole my sons bike right of the front walkway of our yard- camera didnt record- no footage. (SN: Youre probably thinking, well u guys should move-AGREED! However, the daggum decoration cam and system goes with you unless you convince another poor family to believe itll make them feel safe-like they did us- and they take on the responsibility for u)3. I call customer service to express my concerns and ask what other options they provide that may meet our needs. Big Mistake! The lady literally asked me like maam what do u want me to do? They bounced me around until i spoke with a kind young gentleman who said he could leave a note in the system for someone higher up to contact us about our satisfaction and/or possible contract termination.4. I recieve a letter in the mail approximately 2wks later saying that we can pay the amount total for the remainder of our ... 3 yr contract (2+yrs left) or find someone else to take over the remainder.5.1 or 2 of the sensors have gone out/malfunctioned6. The final straw was this past labor day weekend, someone walks into our driveway, breaks into my car... no footage of them coming, leaving ... nothing. I literally have had nightmares of someone breaking into our home and I wake myself up constantly through the night to look out the window and walk my home.Im thinking (quedtion) What the heck does the camera actuslly do??!!... I mean, we arm and disarm the system, so we know that part works properly. However, dont let them scam u into upgrades and making u feel like its anymore secure than any other system because its not- in fact one thing I had hoped they would offer was perhaps a newer or updated camer or even another camera and we just pay for installation being that (answer) the camera we currently have will record when the lighting changes due to the sun rising but not a stranger walking into our yard.In short, I know they cannot control the ppl of the neighborhood we now know we live in, however, the purpose of getting security is to feel more secure and I feel that this company has failed us and doesnt care to help meet our needs in any way or, in fairness, let us go so we can go with a company that can..

Outstanding Service. Stephon Cuffee came out to our house 5 times, 5 TIMES !! Poor guy, 1st time he got the contractors, 2nd time got got me in the middle of demo, 3rd time I got hubbys day off wrong, 4th time hubby was in the shower, 5th time, I called him and he happened to be in my area. He never gave up though and...he kept coming back, unlike all the others. He is an excellent consultant and very knowledgeable. He helped us make our decision and he took the time to listen to my concerns and didnt push the sale!My technician, Anthony Wilson, also a great professional. Did a great job on my install and explained everything to me and made sure I was comfortable with the new equipment. Great customer service!

Horrible customer service once they transfer you to Monitronics after the first year. Promises made at sales time are not fulfilled and equipment provided by PHT no longer is covered under the service contract you pay extra for. They will also increase your Monthly monitoring contract without notification. Save money and go to Simply Safe...dont listen to their anti-competitior speech, PHT has no quicker response or special agreements with the local police, I know that for a fact since I am one. All alarm companies call the police in the same manner by telephone and have to give the same information, there is no automated system in place...

Being a new home owner and new to home security it is nice service, dont think the price is the greatest and if you sign up for auto pay and are on a tight budget as I am it really sucks when you sign up for it to come out on a certain date but yet it comes a few days earlier!!!
