Great experience. Honest and straight forward. When buying a used car, no used car is perfect. However, they told me about everything like it was. Not many places go into the detail like they did. Purchased an Evo from them. There are a few things I enjoyed about this experience and a LOT of things I did not enjoy. Needless to say I did not keep the vehicle. Inspect what you buy very very closely and I do not recommend buying sight unseen.EDIT: So based on your response I’m now going to get into detail. A friend of mine happen to be in Chicago when I was interested in this vehicle so to save myself a trip I had him take a look at it. He was not allowed to drive the vehicle but got a ride in it, which I was unaware of till I got the car home. I made the decision to buy the car unseen and everything went somewhat smooth up until I received the car. Now my friend was able to drive the car for 1 mile before he left that dealership. That was a drive from the rental car place back to their dealership that was it. It was raining and snowing on his way home so he was not able to fully drive the vehicle to its max abilities. The second I got in the vehicle I immediately knew it would not boost. Come to find out it had a broken coil pack, but that was the least of my concerns. The car had multiple door dings all over it that was not disclosed, multiple rock chips down the entire passenger side not disclosed, the front bumper was also bugged up and chipped up which was somewhat disclosed and very poor pictures. I was told the car was inspected yet the mechanic must’ve completely looked over the melting negative battery cable. See the attached photos. I’ll let this review be your deciding factor if what they’re saying below is true or not. A 9.9 out of 10 car no matter what its age would not have multiple dings dents rock chips and mechanical problems. The only thing I will agree with is as far as the rust on something like this, the underbody was very very clean that’s my only positive thing. Another thing that I’d like to to mention is I found a receipt from about six years ago in the owners manuals. That receipt showed that the car had worked on at a mechanic shop in California where the car was from. So I called the business They told me the car had over 100,000 miles on it six years ago. So I wonder why I bought the car with only 87,000 miles? Again I’ll let you decide how you want to do business with them.

Bought a 2008 evo x gsr for my fiance as a late birthday gift from here. Originally, that was supposed to be his first car but sadly it wasnt. He took months to look at other evos and this was an eye catcher. Seemed to be everything he has asked for and more. Talked to Aj, who helped us with the process and contacted us when we had the chance to move forward. He was super helpful on tips about the car, and info. He helped get us a right budget for payments! Seriously helped alot. He made sure we received all paperwork and info correct due to being a sight unseen purchase. But hey, 2 weeks in and my fiance has had no problems, drives great and he couldnt ask for a better evo! Low mileage which is an EXTREME PLUS! Now we are patiently waiting for the title. Great experience! My son wanted a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution for the longest time and I could not picture myself spending so much money on a old car. We found a couple at two dealerships in Chicago and drove down from North Carolina last weekend. This dealership compared to the other one was honest and straightforward. They had a lot of unique cars there when we arrived and they were super nice to my son who felt like he was in heaven. If you’re looking for a rare car definitely don’t come here you can find better vehicles at the local summit pick and pull for those of you that don’t know what pick and pull in Summit Illinois is it’s the local junkyard these guys sell polished up junk vehicles that were blowing up patched up made look good under lights these guys use silicone instead of gaskets to prevent oil leaks to save money be very careful take it to the dealer if you must buy from these shady people

Bought a 2005 Evo 8 from Xtreme a few days ago. Took a train to Chicago and drove it back 500 miles to NY without a single issue. Purchased a mazda speed3 a month ago from them. They were super nice people all the way through, which was a breath of fresh air considering I had been haggling with a bank at the same time. Since I live farther out they gave super great detail about the car over the phone, including its faults. When we got there there wasnt much left for surprise. Unfortunately, made a wrong decision to purchase modified Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR for my son on July 6th 2020 from Xtreme Motorwerks. Paid it off for the money I got from his previous car( which was a good car). We thought Evo would be a nice upgrade and he was so excited. We were promised that this car had never had issues, that it is in perfect condition. That was promised by all 3 brothers to me -to a single mother. But from the week 1 - problems, problems,problems. The car spent more time in auto services then on the road for the short time it was with us until it finally “died” completely (engine) plus other problems ..last week of September. Still without a title I was unable to do anything with it. But after calling Xtreme Motorwerks multiple times they offered to buy back a car from me for 4-5k and that I would not need to think or worry about a title. After seeing that I really got no other options - I agreed. I towed that car to them. Next day as I arrived they told me they can pay me only $2500 because the car has too much damage. I was devastated standing there alone and realizing that I lost a very hard earned $20k that I was saving so hard for my sons car. I left with $2500. I was exhausted and tired and defeated by these tall men brothers at extreme Motorwerks. I know my son will celebrate his 17th birthday next week without a car and now knowing what world we really live in and that there is no one we can ever trust again.And I also acknowledge my fault for not hiring a inspector to inspect the car prior purchase. I did not know what the word “modded” meant. I didn’t know much about tuned up cars etc . I thought it was just a normal car with nicer windows and tires ..I should of known better . Car history looked clean..Update : I can’t believe all your lies in your reply ! Fortunately, I have 3 different auto shops to confirm everything, all receipts of all repairs and this will not be left silent .

Horrible car buying experience. Would not recommend to anyone.In response- I kept the car for over a year because it was in the shop for roughly 7 months when the motor blew up a month after buying it. Im not sure where you came up with I needed a vehicle with more room as to this was my second car so thats a fiction you must have made up. After it blew up a month after owning it you gave me the run around and blamed it on everyone but you guys. You had it inspected. I did not, which looking back at it was my fault for trusting a business owner like you. Then when I tried to get the money back for the warranty that you sold me that was supposed to cover anything. Which they didnt cover a dime of the cost. You guys gave me the run around on that and tried to give me a quarter of what I was owed. When I said thats not the amount you adjusted to half the amount. Youre a joke and have no business running a company. People work hard for their money and deserve to get what they pay for.

Drove here to look at some Evos. Purchased a Evo X . I have to say customer service was great. Very easy going guys and very helpful. Being a girl I was thinking they would brush me off. On my way home one of my rain guards apparently flew off and I did not notice until getting home 6 hours later. I called them to see where I could get another one and instead they shipped me one for free.

Wanted an SRT-4 but none were available in Kansas City so I trusted this dealership and made the trip out to Chicago to purchase a silver neon from them. Little did I know the pistons were already fried in it and the motor completely blew with 0 compression 400 miles later. The dealership blamed it on the fact that I didnt get a tune, but you shouldnt have to dump $500+ on a car you just purchased... They acted like they cared but didnt truly have any intention on making anything right or helping with repairs. Cool dealership, but have a local mechanic go over the car first. Save yourself a major headache and a motor swap.P.S.The dealership is going to respond with a message putting the blame on someone else, just like they have in the below posts from others. Or theyll say they had it inspected by a trusted source. They knew it couldnt make it a long distance trip. But theyre greedy and I overpaid for a car they knew was in poor mechanical shape. Please, they sell some really cool cars. And no disrespect to what they do, but they do some trash stuff, example above^. Have it inspected by someone you trust. Not them.After reading their response they mentioned a driving it hard scenario. I couldnt drive it hard because it couldnt hold boost due to either fuel cut or blowout and I couldnt even press the gas more than a quarter throttle without cut as well. It also leaked an entire quart of oil onto the road during the trip. All the proof is in text form between me and the dealer. Theyre just trying to do cover up damage control.

The owners of Xtreme are great people, I have bought two cars from them so far, A Subaru WRX as well as a Nissan 370z. Both great cars. Very up front people. They will do anything they have to to make your expierence a great one. They will also help you tremendously. I love the guys over at Xtreme and I know I will be back again to buy another car from them. All in All, I love the cars Ive gotten from them and I cant wait to be back again soon for my next! :)

Drove over 6 hours to purchase a Wrx. All I can say is that this place is outstanding. Place was extremely clean which tells you a lot. The staff greeted me upon arrival and was very welcoming. Awesome experience! These guys made the process easy and everything was straight forward. Love the evo 9 and it runs immaculate. Just had it re tuned for the climate difference here in Colorado and the shop here said this is one of the cleanest evos they have seen in a while. Thank you for this gem. Didnt end up purchasing the vehicle due to unforeseen financial issues but long story short I was to purchase a 2006 Evo 9. Had it inspected at Boostin Performance and it passed their checklist with flying colors. Even Devin was amazed quality Evos still do exist. They were super cool with taking the car there while I was at work and never tried to sell me on anything at any time. I wish I didnt have to back out because I dont think Ill find that color combo again but when I am back in the market, you already know Im coming back to these guys. Just my luck, the Evo sold 3 days after lol. Thanks again for everything guys, and Alex sorry for those 4 am texts haha.

The guys here are very chill and easy to work with. Awesome selection of Evos. I worked with Ray and AJ throughout my purchase and they were very awesome. Answered all my questions and let me check the car out without pushing me to to buy. Worth the 10 hour drive and would do it again.

150% accurate and honest. Had my Evo 9 shipped to my home in Las Vegas without ever seeing it. Ray was extremely thorough and making sure every little corner and angle of the car was clear to me. The Evo has been everything I imagined. This is your go to place if you want to be driving a nice car, hands down. Quality and respective service without all the pushy salesmen.

Hey Matthew Norberg I just now seen your review. I know what you went through cause the evo I had purchased from them was just not good either. Really sucks when you get a bad car that you really just want to cherish and enjoy but unfortunately can’t. If you want just shoot me an email if you see this review. Deleted my previous review with everything that happened really but deleted because they wanted me to too help me but never got anything. Not to mention when they spoke with my brother the very last time they had the audacity to tell him they were gonna fix it and all and when I’m in the market for another evo which will probably be soon they said to contact them again. Lol what a joke! also my cousins and friends where gonna buy evos from them too but after seeing what happened to me they changed there minds.

Got my Evo from here on Saturday. It was easy and awesome working with them. No issues with the car and was kept really clean. If you want an Evo you need to come here.

Do not buy from this company, they will rip you off as quickly as they can. The company illegally sells damaged cars and has multiple lawsuits against them.One person bought a car, which was then crashed, and completely destroyed. Turns out the car had large amounts of frame damage that was illegally covered up. This mistake easily couldve killed him.Another person was sold a car for $25k+, that didnt work for the most part(Xtreme Motorwerks insisted that it works), Xtreme Motorwerks illegally signed off on loans allowing the customer to purchase the car, and later along the line the car was evaluated, in attempts of either being fixed or sold, and was worth less than $8k.I know someone from Xtreme Motorwerks will likely respond to this saying that they didnt or that there were mistakes, but I dont want to hear this, they have literally ruined lives.

I traded in my Subaru Sti that I didnt think I could ever let go of. Got a pretty good trade in offer and an even cleaner Evo 8. Very happy no doubt.

Friend bought a Evo 9 from this place drove up there and drove the Evo back 2 hours got it inspected and told him it had problems and might be engine is blown, he got in touch with the dealership he bought it from they told him they’ll fix it after he told them it was the engine they didn’t even respond back! Shady place I feel like it’s a good luck but think cause you guys sell decent looking cars... but idk wanted to buy a Evo X from there but didn’t pull the trigger but I got one now if you buy from here inspect the car right away or check everything.

Decided to purchase an Evo 9 sight unseen and it was the best decision I’ve made. Could’ve bought one here locally in Philly but they didn’t feel right. Called up Xtreme Motorwerks and they knew every little detail about their cars and at that moment they had earned my business. It’s been 4 months since my purchase and after 4800 miles of spirited driving there have been 0 hiccups. Even Chad at CBRD spoke highly on the car’s condition and that it was one heck of a find. I wouldn’t have chosen another way to buy an Evo.

Purchased a 2006 Lancer Evolution IX last Thursday and couldnt be happier. Every where I go I get compliments on how clean my Evo is. These guys were great and made the entire experience simple. Real up front and knowledgeable. They were able to work with my trade-in that I still had a loan on and gave me a very reasonable price for it. Will be back to get my second Evo haha!
