The spring on our garage door broke when we tried to open the door to leave. Couldnt budge it manually. Called Door Depot (they had installed a storm door a couple of years ago). The person who answered said it is late (4 pm) and they probably wouldnt be able to get out to see us until late tomorrow. She asked if the car(s) were in or out. I said in. Oh dear, she replied, you didnt win the lottery did you. Give me 10 minutes and let me see what I can do. 10 minutes later the tech is on his way. An hour and 20 minutes after my call, a new spring is in place and everything works fine. Levi was the service tech. Thank you Levi and thank you Door Depot. We are fans.

I would give Venice Door Depot 10 Stars if I could.I called several other garage door companies inquiring about having a garage door replaced. Every other place was 8 to 12 weeks out because they didn’t have any in stock.I called Door Depot who stated that they had them in stock and ready to be installed... I was impressed by their response and sent a person down the same day to inspect and give me a quote, and stated it would a few days before they could install it. I jumped all over that.. lol.Everybody was professional, polite and knew the business. Very customer oriented. My hat goes off to the whole team!!

Discovered Door Depot when a neighbor replaced a door to their home. I was impressed with the work done so we called for an estimate.Celeste was great, asked a few questions and set up the appointment to meet with Mike.Mike worked with our schedule and arrived on time. His knowledge of the industry and products resulted in our ordering three doors. Later Scott took over the project and had the installation team ready. Dave and Ryan arrived on time, worked the entire time they were on site and did a great job! These guys are pros and the job was done well.When the building inspector arrived the following day he commented on the the work saying it was really nicely done. We called them at about 4 pm.. 0n a Monday. We had messed up the codes on the garage door in our new home and couldnt open or close it. They installed it about 18 months before. No emergency service??? They were SO busy...they couldnt come til Friday. Time to call somebody else.

Mike replaced the springs on my Garage Door , installed a new motor and rollers along with two new wall mounted key pads and new electric eye censors in a swift and professional manner. Instructed me on the working of all the new items and cleaned up after himself like he was never there. I feel so pleased with the work that Mike did.

Door Depot was recommended to me by my neighborhood ARC. They were very aware of the types of door frame modifications it would take to install a storm door, and I was looking at a model where the top glass rolled down to expose a screen. They came out in early December to give me an estimate and shortly thereafter I placed my order. My door was installed about 8 weeks later, since it was a special size, and I am extremely happy with the end product. Thank you so much for your excellent service all the way around :-)

I had an extremely good experience with Door Depot. Todd came and assessed my problems with my garage door and then, upon my request, advised me what I needed to do to improve the functioning of my garage door, which I then did. He was very kind, very professional and very informative regarding everything he replaced and installed. When I later tried to go on-line and enter the info I had with Genie, I was unable to do so, even after calling them. I then called Door Depot and Beth not only was so nice in listening to my inability to record my warranty, SHE DID IT FOR ME. I am 85 years old and sometimes have trouble with the technology of today........Beth understood this and immediately offered to do it for me. I am not only very grateful for both Todd and Beth, but would always use Door Repot and definitely recommend them to anyone I knew having a need for all Door Depot provides. What a great experience. I called 8:00 A.M. on Monday morning and they were able to work me in later that morning with a service call. I had a bit of a problem as I lost all control of my Garage Door Mike Stuhmer, the technician, was a treat. In and out 30 minutes, problem solved.He was efficient, so knowledgeable, and polite!

Mike told us he would do both installations in two and a half hours - and he did so almost to the minute! He did a superb job, cleaned up and explained the programming and operation of the system.

We got quotes from several other companies for accordion hurricane shutters but we felt very comfortable working with our salesman, Mike who was honest and had some great suggestions for our project. The team that installed the shutters was great, too. They cleaned up after the job was finished and did a wonderful job installing the shutters. Levi stayed to demonstrate the shutters and to make sure we were 100% comfortable operating them. Celeste, the receptionist is wonderful, too! Great job Door Depot!

My sister had a great experience with this company so when the spring broke on my garage door I called them right away.Mike came out the same day so I could get my car out of the garage. He wrote an estimate by my request to replace both of my doors and install all new tracks etc. They were 50 years old and patched together.The installation took only one day and I couldnt be happier with the experience and the result.Levi, who installed both doors was very polite and extremely hard working. He never even took a break. He walked me through using the new codes and how to reset them and how to register my warranty. He even took the time to locate my cat who had been scared into the rafters by the construction noise.The doors are beautiful and the price was reasonable. Im sorry I waited so long to finish this project. I was afraid of getting into a major project. On the contrary, this was one of the easiest, most satisfying home projects Ive done. All because these people each do their jobs so well.I need to mention that the correct permits were pulled and inspections ordered by the friendly, efficient office staff. I didnt have to do anything.Im grateful....

I became aware of Door Depot via a neighbor who is a contractor: I dont think Ive ever seen a TV ad for the company....Regardless, the young man who came out(solo), was prompt, polite, packing all required tools and materials, and moved with a purpose. Of note, is the deadly quiet of the door opening and closing- likely a result of plastic rollers and a chain drive opener. Top marks.

I was having problems with my garage door remotes. The system would not allow me to reprogram the remotes. The home builder was unable to reprogram the remotes either as the system was stuck. He tried multiple times to reset the system based on the instructions shown on the instruction cards given to me when the system was installed. After multiple failed attempts, the builder requested Door Depot to send a technician to fix the problem. I was given a time line of between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. for the technician to arrive and correct the problem.Todd, the technician, arrived around 8:30 a.m. Todd was very personable and knowledgeable. He assured me he would have the problem fixed quickly. Within 15 minutes the system was reset and all 3 remotes reprogrammed. Thank you Door Depot and Todd!

I couldnt be happier with the service I received today. I needed a complete new door and everything that goes with it. Levi did it all, a one man installation team. I was skeptical, thinking this would be a two-day job since there was only one guy. I was wrong. Lesson learned, dont doubt Levi. Entire door assembly, opener and key pad all completed in one day. I had scheduled for my garage door to be replaced along with a new opener. They scheduled the date and time that was convenient with my work schedule. Levi and Todd were prompt, courteous and very meticulous on their work. The new door is so much quieter than the previous one and I cant be more pleased. Great experience overall. I found Mike, the salesman very helpful addressing all of my questions and concerns. Before he left I had a quote in my hand (like you would expect right). I had another company come out (D&D) and the sales guy that came out said he could not give me a quote, and that the office would call me with a quote (LOL, never heard or received a quote). I had Mike from Door Depot come out to look at our 19 year old garage door and opener. Very quickly, Mike diagnosed the problem and unfortunately it couldnt be repaired and reinstalled a new opener. Also, Mike convinced me to upgrade the rollers, which were worn and loud. Within an hour, I received a demonstration of an extremely quiet garage door and opener. He also programmed my car to the opener. Highly recommend.

Heavy-duty shutters look beautiful but the mechanism to close/open them is very difficult. I am looking at another company to get a better open close system. I never got any follow up after the install so I dont want to use this company again. I paid approx $700 per a window and expected the open/close mechanism to be as was described, easy to use.

Following a three day plywood window prep prior to evacuating due to the approach of hurricane Irma, we decided to upgrade our storm shutters upon our return. Our home was built in the 1950s, and has many odd angles as well as windows that run the length of the house, with little or no room to anchor shutters to the exterior.After receiving several bids, we chose Door Depot based on our past experience with their quality workmanship installing 3 doors on our home.On par with their reputation, they came up with an extremely innovative solution to not only cover 17 windows of varying sizes, but to do it in a way that is both highly functional and with maximum curb appeal. The measurements had to be precise, and their representative made several trips to make sure they were on the right track.As our order was rather unique, there was a slight delay due to the high demand placed on the manufacturer during this active hurricane season. However, they were diligent in keeping us informed during the process. Once the shutters were ready, the install was smooth and fast. Over the course of several days, their crew came early, stayed late and left us with a shutter system that can be fully functional and deployed in under five minutes should we need to evacuate in the future.We have since recommended Door Depot to several of our friends, as well as to strangers who have passed by and inquired or commented on their craftsmanship.5 out of 5 stars & well deserved!Dan & Sue

I had an appointment today for a door replacement between the hours of 10-2. As the hour of 12 noon approached, I called their office just to find out if Mike would be coming closer to the 1 o’clock hour or 2 as I had an unexpected errand to run. I did say something about them having a 4 hour window and my husband who does A/C thought it was a little wife as his company offers a 2 window, but nevertheless, I just needed to know if they were able to give me a better ETA on Mike’s arrival. The woman who answers their phone responded back with “Well there’s AC companies that take 6 to 8 hours in their window”...I told her I wasn’t sure what that did for me as that didn’t answer my question regarding when Mike would arrive and it’s surely not helping me as their potential customer. The conversation ended where she was going to contact Mike and get back to me. Someone by the name of Dave contacts me back and after a connection issue, I explained that I just wanted to know a better ETA for Mike’s arrival as I had a quick errand to run. He said that when I made my appointment it was from the hours of 10-2. I said “I’m aware of that, but seeing that it’s already a little after 12, I thought that maybe he might have a better estimated time of arrival.” Dave then, proceeds to tell me that after speaking to Mike, he would be arriving around 2, maybe even after. He said they’ve been busy after opening back up after Covid. I told him OK, that isn’t gonna work for me as I have an appointment at 2:30 today. He then says that he can re-schedule me for another day. As I begin to tell him no, (as I wasn’t happy about Mike arriving possibly after 2) he goes on to say AGAIN that when I made my appointment I was aware that it was from 10-2, but HERE’S THE KICKER...Clearly they have no integrity as twice he tells me 10-2, 10-2, but then, he completely contradicts himself by saying that Mike may not even come till after 2! How does that make any sense? I find it ridiculous that Dave would sit there and almost scold me about me knowing the window was from 10-2, but in the same conversation tells me “maybe after 2” WHICH is it? 10-2 or 10-2ish...??????They may do amazing work (I really don’t know as I haven’t had any work done by them), but their line of communication and their integrity/word/commitment is poor! That matters MORE to me than anything else as it’s easy to find good work, but it’s rare to find good customer service.

Install crew was on time and completed installation of storm shutters on 5 windows, a door and a very wide barrier on our lanai in about 4 hours. Very well done.

Mike got here within 20 minutes of phone call. Door is up and running smoothly. I can actually even make it to work today. I would definitely recommend Door Depot.

Owner extremely rude! Was not willing to help with my issue. Tried to get help through office girls but they were unable to help. When husband saw a man sitting at his desk with door open , he went to him for help to replace the rollers. He no sooner asked if he could help him, when you came out yelling at him to leave. Now maybe a customer shouldnt be in that area but you should have explained that and tried to help him at that point.They did find the rollers elsewhere but you handled the situation badly. This was a door your company had installed originally. He said he in no way felt that he was rude to anyone! He was just trying to replace some rollers!

The garage door opener had lost some of its ‘teeth’ and inconsistently opened the door. Contacted Door Depot, explained the problem, received a recommendation of brand & model plus a full quote. No pressure.Technician arrived within 24 hrs on Christmas Eve. He was knowledgeable, polite, congenial.

It was just too easy (for me the homeowner that is). Dave was precise and did an amazing job placing doors in a 1950s home that has issues. They not only look amazing, but were a $1000. less than the other quote for the exact same doors I received (where the bidding company also indicated the wait would be 2 months).I highly recommend this company who deliver on their promise, whose workmanship is top notch, and whose work ethic is rare here in southeast Florida.
