The booking on the website was very straightforward and easy to do.The service dept. needs a little help. This was my first time taking my mazda 3 here to get serviced. Being a pregnant lady who is very cautious about my health, when I arrived for my appointment, I honestly didnt feel that the Dealership cared about the publics health and safety. We are in times of a pandemic and I was very concerned that my daughter and I were the only ones wearing masks.Cons:-The service advisor was a new guy, who was by himself, and was struggling to ring up the customer in front of me. I arrived at 10 and wasnt helped until 10:50am.- The service advisor had a runny nose and wiped his face a few times with his hands and didnt go wash it afterwards.-The whole service department were all not wearing any masks.- The service advisor talked very close to me, while he sniffled a lot and cleared his throat a lot..-There wasnt any safety protections taken upon when the service advisor entered my car.- Manager of the service advisor had to come explain to the new guy what my 30,000 service entailed...-Manager didnt help the service advisor on how to close out and he had to do math on the difference on my warranty that covered the oil maintenance...- Overall, didnt feel comfortable with my experience.Pros:- My car was serviced in the 2.5 hours given

I have enjoyed my past few visits to Mazda for maintenance. This time was unusual. The young man who took care of me was confident, knew his job, and was helpful and honest about the service I needed. However, there was something in the air that morning as it seemed the store was not right. That feeling was made evident by a shouting match that broke out between one of the mechanics, who has done much of my maintenance on my car, and the parts department. The young man behind the counter was also rather tense as he talked about the lack of help that has been available as of late. The stress was there. Would I travel all the way to Roseville to get my maintenance? Most likely not. But this last interaction did not sit well with me. I believe the store is in flux and the stress is hitting the workers. If management and ownership does not help their employees to perform better, than this will not be a pleasant place to have your car maintained.

The staff are as friendly and accommodating as youd hope and expect. My salesperson was personable, but not very knowledgeable about the features on the vehicle I was purchasing. I only know that because I researched as much as I could about the vehicle before deciding to buy.The online vehicle pricing from this dealership DOES NOT include markups, and it was not mentioned until I asked about it after being shown the vehicle price. Since I traveled to this dealership exclusively for the listed price of the vehicle, they offered to match the lowest price from a local dealership that already listed a marked-up price.During the test drive, I was rear-ended by another driver in the new car I was supposed to buy (which was the only one of its trim/color in stock). It was a pretty terrible situation to be in, and borderline traumatic since it was a brand new car I was about to buy. Luckily, no injuries. The manager quickly came out and took care of the exchange of information with the other driver, who luckily was cooperative. The management was then able to work out a trade between two other Mazda dealerships to make another identical model available for me.Upon delivery of my vehicle, some items were missing that should have been included, the most important one being the SD card that operates the Navigation system. When I pointed it out to my salesperson, I was told my car didnt come with Navigation standard and that it was a $500 option. Being a bit naïve, I believed it at first, but luckily the manager contacted me afterwards to tell me that my vehicle did in fact come with Navigation standard, and that they would ship the SD card out to me along with the other missing items.As long as you do your own research on the car and familiarize yourself with whats supposed to come standard with it so that you catch any mistakes, you will be OK shopping here.

I don’t know much about cars but I knew mine needed a lot of work. Throughout my whole experience the whole crew was very helpful but I’d like to give a extra attention to Noah for explain everything in detail and helping me with anything I needed. It was a bit of a journey.But overall always had an amazing experience and love knowing my car is in good hands.

I am not sure if was just the Amariea the sales person I got was the problem but he definitely contributed to my horrible experience. They should be more considerate of their customers, I drove almost 2 hours to their dealership only for them to waste my time. I spoke to them over the phone and via text several times knowing I live in San Francisco they still made me waste both my time and money. My advise is really to stay far away from this dealership.

THE WORST! I bought a new 2021 Mazda 3 from them a month and still haven’t got my spare key. I came in twice after two weeks and each time Travis (finance manager) said he’d call me. Finally got a hold of him after he dodged my calls and ignored all voicemails and said he had no clue I needed a key and hung up as soon as possible. Asked for the general manager and got redirected to parts. Just all around terrible service with such disrespectful behavior.Also made me wait 2 hours to detail the car and there were still smudges on the windshield and dirt on the floor. I’d give a lower 0 stars if at all possible.

I scheduled an appointment for a power steering recaul. Waited 2 weeks for it. Got there and they said it was already done to my car. Decided not to go through with it that day. Came back another day and they said it will only take 2 hours. Waited 5 hours and they still where not done. I had to go to work so I had to leave. Tried calling them for 3 days and know one would talk to me. After the 4th day I went in and asked them whats going on. They said it would be 4k to repair my power stearing. I said no thank you, but there was a recall for my power wind shield whiper moters or something. I decided to trust them with this simple task because it was free. They cracked my windshield. Now I have to come back to this place and waste my time waiting for them to replace my windshield. Lets see what else they brake.

We just bought a CX-9 this past weekend! As soon as we pulled into the parking lot we were greeted with a smile by Clint, one of the sales rep. We went back and forth towards making a good deal, but we never felt forced. We were eventually greeted by Mike, the manager of the dealership. He sat down with me to talk towards what I wanted and eventually offered a worthy deal. The paperwork was carefully explained by Tracy, their financial rep. The whole experience took about 4-5 hours but it was painless. We were treated with respect and the dealership felt comfortable. Highly recommend!

I first gave a five star rating, however after receiving bills from chase for a leased vehicle that was returned and calling the dealership to get it handled correctly and then getting a delinquent registration from the CA DMV forcing me yet again to call the dealership to make sure that was done correctly too. These issues really forced me to change my review and question if I choose the right dealership in the first place.Disappointed costume

I recently purchased a new car from this dealership and I had the most pleasant car buying experience of my life, mostly thanks to Joaquin, a great salesman, and Hugo, the sales manager.I live pretty far from this dealership, so first I got in contact with Joaquin over phone. He answered all my questions and then we scheduled an appointment for the test drive. I was late, but everything was ready when I arrived. Joaquin presented the car to me, we took it for a ride, we negotiated the price and I never felt pressured or hustled. Its also easy when you have the best offer on the market (I did my research before).We finalized everything around 9PM (1h after their closing time), but again I never felt any rush from either Joaquin or Hugo.I also asked them to deliver the car to me the second day and Hugo took care of it. The next morning I got the car at home.Also, about the covid precautions (because I saw it being mentioned in other posts), both Joaquin and Hugo wore masks and tried to keep the distance whenever possible. I really felt safe there.A great experience overall. I highly recommend this dealership.

We bought our Mazda at Mazda of Vacaville, and we get it serviced there as well. This time was for the 15K service, and we also got it detailed. As always, everything was taken care of quickly, and the detailer did a fabulous job! Our car came back clean, shiny, and running great.We see Julian everytime we get the car serviced, and he is unfailingly polite and helpful. We LOVE everything about Mazda of Vacaville, and everyone. We cant possibly convey in words just how wonderful the employees are at this dealership!

Service advisor Julian was pretty good. He greeted me at my vehicle. I went in for an oil change, rotation, and alignment. He recommended a few things, like my timing cover is seeping oil, valve cover is seeping oil, my right front axle is corroded. Julian stated would call me when a rental car was available and stated would call me to come back in. As a former service advisor I would be all over this to get the customer back in to perform these repairs. I have an extended warranty and the dealership would make some $$$$.

Really bad process when buying car, they negotiated for a 60 month term and when signing, the contract showed 63 month. I attempted to correct the issue and Sales Manager told me there was nothing he could do about it. They dont care about customer service or helping buy a car. they rip you off anyway they can. Bad experience. DO NOT GO THERE to get a car.

Melanie was great during our car buying experience. She didn’t push us at all or tried to convince us of any of the options we needed or didn’t need. We had a last minute schedule change and she was able to accommodate us, we drove the Mazda 3 and the CX-5. We picked up the CX-5 the following weekend. the “frozen screen” was not fixed, but the service department got the car looked at and infotainment screen fuse was plugged in only 20’min during our pickup day. We also got a reasonable discount for CA,I believe. I didn’t know exactly how much taxes, title, license etc would be and I think they were understanding with the discount of a new move to California, being clueless and needing a car urgently because our only car may or may not have had a failing engine.Overall I would recommend Mazda Vacaville and Melanie! Make sure you check everything works right before you leave with the car/ or they will fix and check everything for you. Pick up during service hours. Sometimes the fuses are not plugged in all the way from the car shipment. It’s like 5 min or less to do it yourself, but it’s nice to have it checked by the dealer to make sure there is no electrical problem. Seems like they have a good inventory for the size of the dealership and being a little out of the Bay Area makes for very nice friendly people.

I purchased a 2018 Mazda 3 from Mazda of Vacaville on 1/21/2021. It has been over 90 days since I purchased the car and I still do not have plates. According to the DMV the registration has not been completed because the car was sold without a title.I went to the dealership to request an additional 90 day registration until I get the plates and the DMV manager, Linda Knight told me I could not have a new temporary registration. The DMV is unable to provide a temporary registration and stated it is the dealerships duty to do so.Additionally, I traded in a 2007 Mazda 3 to the dealership. In March I received a notification from the CHP that the 2007 Mazda had been abandoned on the freeway. The dealership never filed the Release of Liability for the 2007 Mazda and now I have a tow company coming after me for $1200.I have contacted the dealership over the phone 4 times and also went in person to remedy each of these issues. They have not only refused to assist us but they have also lied to us about why the registration has been held up.

I have always had wonderful customer service at Mazda. Every single person has been fantastic to work with. The only things I dont understand are why 1) if I make an appointment to get my oil changed it can take up to three or four hours to be completed (even with advance notice of my appointment- this isnt a drop in situation). 2) In other cases when more services are being done ($$$$) it takes way less time. 3) If Im spending $$$ to have my car serviced through Mazda rather than somewhere else wouldnt it be a nice touch if they just washed my car? My boyfriend goes to the Nissan dealer down the street and he never makes an appointment, they are usually done in an hour, it is WAY cheaper, and they always wash his car for him no matter what. I have rated the customer service high because everyone has always been great to work with. There is a just a disconnect and I wonder about all these added costs to going with Mazda in the first place.

Excellent Car Buying Experience. I was looking for a 2018 Mazda 3 with heated seats. My son did some computer searches and found the car that met my criteria at a great price at Mazda of Vacaville. Our salesman Lamont was helpful from the pre-phone interview, through test drive and purchase. The manager gave us a good price on my trade-in. Lamont, the manager and the finance manager all stayed 2 hours past closing to finish our deal. It was worth driving more than 30 minutes to buy this car. My long-time hometown mechanic gave the car two thumbs up.

Great experience from start to finish! Found a car online, called and worked with Jonathan Van Loo. Awesome dude with tons of energy and excitement. Hard worker, even washed the Jeep for us, himself because everyone else had gone home for the night. Imagine that, Salesman, in a suit scrubbing a Jeep. That is hard work and dedication at its best. Rick, the sales manager was great too. He was so friendly, accommodating and stayed open late for us because it took an hour to get there. We were greeted 6 feet away, with water bottles. They were professional with safe distance rules and still had that personal touch. We talked all about Jeep enthusiasm. I completely recommend Mazda of Vacaville, even though we bought a Jeep there, hahaha. These two were fabulous, it was like buying a car from cool family members. I own a 2016 CX-9 and there have been multiple quality issues (front bumper cracking and premature engine failure all due to manufacturer fault). To say nothing of the quality of Mazda cars, Mazda of Vacaville has been amazing to deal with. Other Mazda dealers were of no help yet Mazda of Vacaville came through both times and got good will compensation from Mazda corporate saving me a ton of money on the repairs. They always go above and beyond and Mike in service has always been super responsive. Cant recommend enough for service!

My elderly mom purchased a car from this dealership last Sunday Feb 28. After going through the paperwork that they sent home, we realized that they threw in a $3500 dollar additional charge that they never mentioned in the conversation. My mom is 76 years old and typically pretty savvy, I was with her during the purchase but did not sign any of the paperwork, yes shame on us for not catching in the moment, but more shame on them for being typical used car sales people. Neither of us were told about the additional $3500 extended confidence policy, in fact they did mention that it was included in our monthly payment, the price was never spoken out loud. Christian the finance manager went over everything else in detail, item by item, except the additional $3500 and the final price that would be financed. Truly shady behavior, then once we figured out we felt taken advantage of and rather stupid, weve made calls to the dealership almost every day since. We have not received a single call back after speaking to the service manager and the sales manager. We have also called the customer service manager who responded to my one star yelp review, he has also not returned our call, apparently bad reviews are the only way to get any response from this dealership!!! Our next step is to contact the BBB and Finney on your side or anyone else who can help us out!!

I received a voucher in the mail for being a frontline health care worker, it was a hassle even getting in touch with someone to schedule the appointment but thankfully we finally got it scheduled. From start to finish the guy at the desk who took the keys from my husband and returned them to him was rude. He acted like it was a terrible inconvenience that we were bringing the car in for an oil change and when my husband came to pick the car up he didn’t even utter a word just dangled the keys from his pinky finger to give it back to home. I appreciate Mazda for doing this service to give back but honestly I would have rather paid to go somewhere with the service we received.

Once inside we had the WORST experience I have ever had in my years in the car business.The next day I went to Mazda and was greeted by Jorge and Ahmad. Well i had by work done at Mazda in Vacaville the cost me 2606.96 i keep my old part the hoses look new still the car was in the shop for four days the Loaner car wasnt clean and i Purchased a part for a Damper for my Glove Box and pay 24.83 for it at parts it was on hold .an for a Diagnostics it was 185.00 an the sells said manager HE would drop the Diagnostics if i had the work done at the Mazda shop still got charge for it and the Damper for my Glove box came to the Mazda Dealer and Mazda drop the charge for the part for the Damper for the Glover box Work done well no trouble. over pricce

I was in the market to buy a new 2019 Mazda 3 hatchback. I was in contact with two salesman at the Vacaville Mazda dealership, Jonathan and Christian. They both seemed nice people. We did not talk pricing but, I did tell them that I had made an offer for the same car to a dealer closer to my area. I later tried calling them but, they werent available. I ended up talking to a lady who gave me a significant higher price than the dealer near me. I told the lady the price wasnt going to work for me and that I was going to move forward with the other dealer. As I was on my way to the other dealer, the sales manager Robert called and told me he would sell me the car for the same price as the dealer near me. I told him it didnt make sense to drive farther to buy the car for the same price. Robert then said he would lower the price $250 dollars. I told Robert $250 less was not worth the drive to his location. Robert dropped the price $400 less than the dealer near me. I told him that would work and that I would go buy the car at his dealership. We test drove the car at the dealer near me and liked it. They were not able to match Roberts price so we told them another dealer is selling the same car for $400 dollars less and left. Once we were on our way to Vacaville, I called Robert to confirm the price he had mentioned. Robert did not keep his word. To make a long story short, Robert came up with many excuses that did not make sense. I had to raise my voice at him to stop wasting peoples time and not interrupt the sale of other legitimate salesman. Robert left a bad impression of how he does business at Vacaville Mazda. I ended up buying the car at the Modesto Mazda dealership. The people there were professional, honest, and friendly. I will be going there for my future Mazda needs.

This dealership must be exempt from the state mandate to wear masks! The only person we saw wearing a masks in the entire building was the gentleman at the service counter! I recently purchased a Mazda certified used CX-9 from Mazda of Vacaville. From the first phone call to my driving away with my dream car I felt respected, cared for, and considered. Brittany, my sales rep was fabulous. It was truly a great experience overall. There was some detailing that needed to happen to the car, a slight odor that I was uncomfortable with. They detailed the entire car for me at no extra cost, And made sure that the car was odor free before I drove away, with the complements of a full tank of gas. I highly recommend this dealership.

If it was possible to rate them zero stars, I would. I was just there with my fiance and we were there scoping out a new CX-5 grand touring edition for her. We waited about 10 minutes and no one even approached us. When we went inside, there were three salesmen that saw us but didnt even acknowledge our presence.We will be taking our business elsewhere!

Poor service. No respect for customer. Made us drive all the way from San Jose just show price on paper more than their online quote. Ran the credit check before agreeing on the price. Barely understand the selling process, first agree on the darn price and then do the paper work. Wasted half day of our lives, never getting it back!

Jonathan and Rick were awesome and so easy to work with. They listened and worked with me and my very particular self on all the things I needed. I couldn’t have it all which is the only reason I dropped it a star but they got me as close as possible and they would have a 4.8 if I could put it. The ultimate chill experience. Everyone here has been super chill and helpful. The service advisor Ive got has been fair and straight to the point and hasnt tried to pressure me to do anything more than what I wanted to have done with my car.Youll even run into a tech occasionally and they are great with customers as well.Im strictly aftermarket with my RX-8 and a tech myself.But I may consider coming back here for my obscure parts needs since it was such a hassle free experience

Worst dealership ever! I had the worst experience with them.. First the finance manager got my loan approved sent me on my way, then called me and said he was missing paper work and needed to come back to fill out the paper work. I went back to dealership and he basically kicked me out because he had other deals and he would call me when he was ready.... I dint receive a call .... long story short the bank came and got my car because there was no contract and they will not give me my money back... I went to Hoblit in Woodland, CA I was in and out in a matter of minutes..... TERRIBLE !!

WOW! I found out that Mazda Vacaville is under new ownership and what a change it is. Everyone is extremely friendly, I feel right at home. Lisa stood out to me the most, she was my Sale Women who was patient, answered all my questions, very knowledgeable about the Mazda’s and the safety features, and we had fun doing it. I have a 2018 Mazda CX-9. I went in for a 20K mile oil change and the adviser, Thomas #076 upsold me to a 30K mile service. He even insisted that my car required an engine fluid flush. He gave me such a tough time as I was telling him that my car did not need those extra services. I told him I would only be paying for an oil change. He charged me $376 for an oil change. This is the worst Mazda dealership I have ever been to in my life. Their service advisors give you a hard time and try to upsell you every chance they get. I will never come here again. Horrible service.

I set out to find a Truck that was used, low miles and within my budget. I walked out with a used Truck with very low miles and worked perfect with my budget, fully loaded Limited addition. I went there with the intention of buying a used car. I was helped by Suman in deciding on a car and he was very nice and helpful throughout the whole process. A lot of the employees were relatively new hires (within the last month or so) and thus werent as pushy as most car salespeople. Definitely a great car shopping experience.

Purchased a 2012 Nissan Altima Coupe and had it shipped to Texas, delivered to me on the shoulder on a busy four lane road, also the driver assured me, I was way overcharged for the shippingVacaville Mazda used Covid 19 predatory pricing for the shipment of the car, charging me 1500, but they only paid the shipping company, less than half of that amountIt took them a month to get the car to Texas. They provided no help in me obtaining Texas registration and plates, they played hide and seek with the title, not complying with Texas DMV instructions, doing what was easy forthem, not at all convenient, actually makingit a headache for meIt’s something you pay for when buying from a dealer, even when out of state, I could have done better from a “tote the note lot”I left a complaint with USAA “True Car” buying service and was told that, they’d consider removing Vacaville Mazda as True Car Dealer, due to the overcharging of the shipment and the lack of no communication from management after the sale.They were all nice before the sale, but after, they ended all communicationI would look elsewhere if considering purchasing a new or used car,In closing. I’m not happy with my sales staff, Jonathon or the lady that sent me videos of the car before purchase but ignored me afterwardsThey made things really hard with the DMV, I nearly failed getting the Texas registration and plates, because of their incompetence

She is a legal Texas resident, and titling and registering a car is less expensive vice California.They dealership was to obtain an MSO for Mazda and send the appropriate paperwork to the Texas Tax Office. Instead of doing what they were told, NANCY decided that she was going to send her California Plates.California registration is $200 additional more monies than Texas.California Sales tax is 2% more than Texas.This matters to a young E4 in the militaryDuring the last conversation with Nancy, she asked us Why we could not just tag the car in California? That was not the deal, and if they could not get the information needed to tag it in Texas, they should have never sold the car to my sister.I really hate organizations that screw over the military, and by my sisters experience, they are that type of organization. I hope that they next young military person that is considering purchasing a car from them is aware of this so they do not fall into the same pitfall.They did not care, they did want they wanted to do versus keeping their word. Purchased a certified Mazda 3 this past weekend, and was very pleased with the experience. Worked with a relative newcomer to the staff, Manesh (and apologies for likely having misspelled his name!), who was extremely pleasant and responsive; also dealt with Rick, the Sales Manager, who worked the final price right into my go-zone. Having already owned a Mazda, I am very familiar with the model itself, so didnt need much info, but the courtesy, ease, thoroughness of the process was noted and appreciated. Highly recommended.

My husband and I went car shopping to replace my daughters car. Im glad We researched and found the Mazda CX5 Touring more to her liking. Lamont was kind enough to show us the different Mazda CX-5s. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable buying a Mazda. Though, Lamont had us sold on buying the SUV the 1st day; It took us approximately 9 days to actually come in and make the purchase 😁.
