Do NOT come here. I should’ve heeded the numerous negative reviews. I purchased my new 4Runner at another dealer but have been coming here for the included Toyota care maintenance. I have come here 3 times now and each visit has been worse and worse. I made an appointment for my maintenance a week in advance and once I showed up they told me I wasn’t on the schedule since they never put my appointment in, oh great! Then told me it’d be 3 hours just for the bare basic maintenance. They lost my wheel lock at a previous appointment too, fantastic. One employee dinged my car with his clipboard, nice. Staff is unpleasant and rude, zero motivation and speed. One customer told me they never even called her to let her know her car was finished so she waited an additional 2 hours! I could go on and on, just do not come here

I visited this Vacaville Toyota Service department for my Camry 5000 mile maintenance service. I had an appointment at 2pm and car maintenance service was not finished till 5pm. Even after it’s done, nobody called me it’s done until I asked the staff. very disorganized work system and horrible wait time. Still I have my old sticker maintenance schedule was there and not updated on front window. Is this real Toyota maintenance department?? So disappointing!!

I came here for an oil change on my RAV4 as a last second resort. Normally I’d do the Oil Change my self and I should had done so. Their amateur mechanics tight the oil filter housing too much and end up scratching the drain plug. When I finally do the Housing off one of the supports broke. After speaking with the manager he said because my car hadn’t been there in months and I removed it it fell on me to replace it which cost $90 (More than the oil change itself) now this housing is useless and they refuse to even do something. If you can do oil changes yourself and save yourself the $86.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTI got charged $180 per hour for service that didn’t even fix my car. $1500 in labor and $500 in parts. The card needed a wheel bearing, alignment, and the 30,000 mile tune up. I was told it would take 2 days. It took 5 with zero communication. The lead technician didn’t even know proper terminology for the parts on the car. I had no choice but to pay their price gouging.When I got the car back, it was pulling right super hard. I called them to ask them to actually fix it. They had me on hold for over an hour just to tell me that they’re not going to do anything to help.Read the rest of the reviews on here. Probably the worst Toyota in existence. They need a complete overhaul and re-staffing. It’s a common ground for crooks. AVOID

We traded in a very well maintained Toyota Camry for a Subaru and it needed the transmission completely replaced in less than two months. We requested a rental for over the weekend into Monday when we would see if the warranty would cover it for us and they refused. They sold us a bad car and argued saying that they inspect all cars thoroughly alluding to us possibly mishandling the car which was absolutely not true.So we are out of a car for Monday, when I am starting a new job and we need to drop off our kids. This dealership absolutely refused to help us after selling us a bad product.We also want to know why this car broke down so quickly. He told us they would have to inspect it, but they told us their facility doesn’t have the equipment to diagnose a Subaru so we had to take it to Fairfield. They refused to take it in to look at.Please don’t buy from this dealership. They sold us a bad car.

After parts person looked at my car and verified part I needed, I was informed if it wasn’t the part I actually needed they wouldn’t refund the cost of the part 😡. The parts person was beyond rude. The other parts people were great. Unfortunately, I was unable to get his name. I won’t be coming here again. I’m in the market for a new car, too. Definitely not getting it here.

Typical sleazy dealership. I purchased a new TRD Pro 4Runner in 2020.. but not from these guys. Their salesman were just kids who knew nothing about the vehicles. I shouldn’t know more than you about your own cars! And their prices were heavily inflated. I went to Roseville Toyota and it was a completely different experience with much better prices. Since I live in Vacaville, I took my 4Runner back to Ammars Toyota to get it serviced, and each time I’ve taken it here, again, it’s been a horrible experience. I made an appointment for my first oil change and it took over 2 hours. The second time (I didn’t learn my lesson) I brought it in I made an appointment for my 20,000 mile service they tried telling me my maintenance plan didn’t cover the oil change (which it did). And again, waited for over 2 hours. This place is an absolute joke. People are rude. AVOID THE HEADACHE!

My family has purchased many vehicles from this dealership however, They took a major dip downhill on the last one for some reason. They lied about the maintenance agreement told me to my face one thing the computer said something else as I pointed it out they told me they would correct it later. That was a premeditated lie. They never did. They also sent us out that night on a dark rainy night with no floor mats. I would never trust those people again at all. Fairfield has another Toyota seems much better, I get my maintenance done there now and will make my next purchase there as well.

This service department should be the poster child for poor workmanship. Avoid this dealership for any service work.Brought my vehicle there for the free service and the fact that my parking brake didn’t work. Service advisor tried to charge me for the parking brake adjustment. Once I asked the advisor to explain how 1k miles is enough to wear out the parking brake he agreed to have them look at it for free.They failed to properly fix the issue even though there’s a step by step toyota service procedure written for this exact issue. I had to fix it my self.Recently I went to change my own oil, found the oil drain plug and oil filter housing extremely over tightened. It took a 2ft breaker with slow and steady pressure to remove the filter housing. Unfortunately the stress broke the filter housing.The manager refused to take ownership of their mistake on their last service. He said I used excessive force (although the impact their tech uses to put these back on is okay). Either way, how can you excessively unscrew something? The force needed to loosen is more or less directly related to the force used to tightened (again, they use impacts to remove these which is so much worse)After agreeing that the filter should not have needed that much force, he claimed that I should have stopped and paid them to do the oil change so that they could break it. He then tried to claim that I missed my 6 month service so they can’t be responsible. I pointed out that I’m not required to take my vehicle in to be serviced by them and that there’s no oil change for a 6 month service, It’s a tire rotation. He claimed that they “inspect” the filter and would have somehow seen it was over tightened…My vehicle has 7k miles and was only serviced by them until today. They are too concerned with saving face and never financially recovering from fixing their mistake with a $40 part (that they tried to sell to me for +$130).Based on this managers attitude, this seems like a dealership that will try to violate the Magnuson-Moss Act any chance they have. I definitely would not trust them with any vehicle.

I had the worst service experience with this dealership today. I do not like writing bad reviews because I do understand that certain circumstances arise but when it comes to safety, it shouldn’t be overlooked at. I took my car today because my left rear tire started losing air and the tire pressure light went off. We put air in the tire yesterday and came to find out that the tire deflated overnight so we made an appointment with Ammar’s toyota today. We were served by Christina Anderson (service advisor). We waited 2 hours. I went to the office to get an update and found out that my paperwork was sitting on top of a desk. So here’s what they found. They recommended to replace all tires but mind you that we just got this car last year as a brand new car. So I was concerned. I asked the lady to clarify this and so she went to the technician to verify and she came back to me and told me that there was a hole in my tire and since it’s AWD they recommend that I replace all tires. So I said, I already know that there’s a problem with my tire why would you guys just put air on it and place back the same tire. That’s NOT safe at all. They could just replace it with my spare tire but they did not. So she called a guy named Patrick and all he said was I am sorry I was at lunch and we have so many customers today and you did not have an appt. Also Patrick said that he was sure hole was found on side of the tire but check out the report. “Unsure whether the puncture was straight or on the side.” I attached a copy of the text we received from Toyota Vacaville to remind us that we have an appointment. This is not the customer service anyone deserves. You don’t let people drive off their car out of the service without doing some type of resolution.

Dont buy anything from them. They will scam you! Double check all the fine print.It was our fault for trusting them but they shouldnt lie to you either. We went in March 2020 to buy an extended warranty for our car. The 3 year warranty just finished and we had so many sensor/electrical type problems on this new car that we decided to extend a warranty. I asked if it would cover electrical things like the windows, touch screen and interior electric things in the car. We were told yes. We paid for a warranty to last 90k miles.I called to have my window fixed because its having a hard time rolling up and down. They told me that the warranty only covers mechanical issues with the engine. The sales rep completely lied to us to sell us a warranty that doesnt cover what we needed. Definitely not where Ill be doing business.

I drop the car for fix the Check engine light,,,they said its Engine problem We will diagnose and give us one day....when I picked my car Very next day I see the Check Engine light and when I called about the same problem They said we will again Diagnose the car and it will be charge you AGAIN 350$ for JUST for diagnose,,,if any problem found we will charge you labor and parts cost,,,WTH,,,DONT EVER GO TO THIS PLACE.

This is the WORST dealership I’ve ever been to my entire life. The service department has no problem with lying to your face over and over again. They disregard your complaints and issues with your car. They always seem to go to their response that “we cannot duplicate your issue”. It’s funny that as soon as I take my car to a different dealership they recognize the problem immediately then are able to get the work OK’ed and proceed in fixing the issue. I’m only writing this review to warn others to STAY AWAY FROM VACAVILLE TOYOTA!

Sales Associate stated that they wanted to keep the mileage on the vehicle low for the prospective buyer.That’s called prejudging Toyota Vacaville... My parents and I had a GREAT experience with this dealership. Our sales associate, Melissa, was fantastic. She was patient, kind, and straightforward. She also spoke Spanish and that was extremely helpful! Due to their customer service and willingness to negotiate, my parents walked out with a brand new 2020 RAV4 Limited. It was clear they wanted us to be happy with our experience and purchase, so they were open to listening to our concerns and working with us. They also did not pressure us! I Would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone seeking a new vehicle.

DO NOT do business with these fraudsters! Stay away from this place!!!!!!!I purchased my vehicle brand new from a Toyota Dealership back in 2018. According to Toyotas warranty guide, the manufacturer included a 5 year / 60,000 mile warranty for the airbag and restraint system, so when the SRS / Airbag Light went off in mid April of 2021, I made a appt to visit Toyota Vacaville service center on 04/21/21 to correct the issue. After bringing my car in, they took a look and explained to me that it looked like the rear seat wire harness looked like it had been tampered with (which I do not know how that it possible, since no one has ever touched or messed with anything having to do with the rear seat) and therefore the warranty did not apply.They claimed they took pictures to show evidence of the tampering and reconnected the loose wire harness and cleared the code. I was told because the warranty was not valid for that visit, I would have to pay the diag fee of $185.00. I reluctantly paid and was waiting for pictures to be sent to me, but I never received them. Then a about a week or two after picking up my vehicle, the same light came back on, so I called Toyota Vacaville again and made an appt for 05/24/21. Upon dropping off my vehicle, the service advisor (Manny) asked me to sign a document (which he did not explain what it was for and covered it up with another paper that showed my vehicles information, but no information on what they were going to do with the vehicle or any costs that would be incurred). Prior to that I explained to Manny the recurring issue I was having and all he said to me was ok since this is a recurring issue, well take care of it for you. Two days passed by and I did not hear anything back from Manny or any of the other service advisors as to what was going on with my vehicle. I then called them on 05/26/21 at around 2-3pm to see what was going on and finally got a hold of Manny, who told me that they were still looking into the issue, but that he would give me an update on my vehicle. I then asked him about possibly getting a refund for the previous diag fee, since the issue they claimed was the cause for the Airbag light going off wasnt the issue and since the previous visit did not correct the issue. He agreed with me and said he was pretty certain that I would get the $185 I paid on the previous visit back, but just needed to confirm with his manager. I never got a call back that day and instead oat around 5:10pm that evening, I got a automated text letting me know that my vehicle was ready to go.When I called them after receiving the text, the receptionist answered and confirmed that my vehicle was in fact ready to be picked up and to my utter surprise, the cost would be $185.00. I explained to her the situation and because the service center was already closed for the day and since they do NOT have a service center manager, she said that I would need to speak with one of the managers (Patrick or Sheena). I called back the following morning on 5/27/21 at around 11:30am and spoke with Patrick whom I explained the situation to, but he was still adamant that I needed to pay the additional $185.00 for the time they spent on the vehicle and if I did not, I could not pick up my vehicle. I went back and forth with him for about 15 minutes and after that, I just gave up and told him that I would file a complaint with BAR, to which he responded go right ahead... this conversation is over. Since I needed my car badly, I headed over there and paid the additional $185 (making sure to write that I did not agree with the charge on the work order and cc receipt) and upon reviewing the work order, it appears that all they did was clear the code (which is a bandage solution and will not correct the issue in the long run). This dealership clearly is operating in a fraudulent manner and will file a complaint with the Bureau of Automotive Repair!

4 hours into a 3 hour service appointment I hadnt heard from the dealer so I called to follow up. Toyota employee checks for a few minutes then comes back & literally says theyre still working on your vehicle and theyll call when its done. I assumed that was the case, I replied, but I was calling for an ETA, its been 4 hours. Puts me on hold again but this time without a word of prep. Hold is twice as long now time about 8 minutes. New guy comes on and says theyre just about done, Im thinking that means 15-20 minutes, but he says should be ready in 45 minutes, haha. I hope for the $1k service bill and 5 hours later that the brakes their inspected have now been plated in gold and the coolant their replacing is now liquid happiness from unicorn tears of joy.Save your time and $ and go somewhere else.PS theyre also under construction and their customer waiting area was a non AC portable in a parking lot with no way to be 6 apart from any other occupant.

I’ve brought my highlander to this dealership numerous times since 2013. I never had any issues until my most recent visit. I brought my highlander in for an oil change which is normally synthetic oil every 10,000 miles.During my visit there were no issues; the issue bagan a couple of days after my supposedly completed oil change when my low oil pressure light began to come on. After a few more days of the light not going away I checked my oil to try and figure out what could be the issue.When I checked my dipstick I learned there was no oil on it no matter how many times I put it in and took it out. I then purchased some synthetically oil as a mechanic friend of mine informed me no oil on dipstick is a sign that there is no oil in car.I added 3 quarts of synthetic oil and waited 5 mins to then see a dark residue on the dipstick. After identifying and getting confirmation that in fact no oil change was done I took my vehicle in to the nearest Oil change location in town.The place I took my highlander into the associates showed me my oil filter, air filter and got confirmation my car had no signs of a recent oil change.I contacted the dealership to speak to the associate who helped me initially. When I explained to him what the issue was his response was “why would we charge you for a service if it wasn’t done”. After explaining to him all I wanted was a refund for the oil change that clearly was not performed he informed me I would need to speak to a manger. I said okay, before connecting me to the manager the associate instead of putting me on hold decided to tell his manager that he was not going to deal with me and then placed me on hold.I was then connected to the manager, Patrick, who sounded very understanding and when I mentioned the lack of professionalism of his associate he said he does not stand for that and it should never have happened. Then I explained to the manager the reason why I was calling and how I wanted a refund for an oil change I was charged for but never was actually performed on my car.The manager said he would need to speak to his district manager for approval and would call me back.After 30+ mins I received a call from Patrick who indicated I would be given a full refund for what was paid and apologized for the inconvenience.The manger advised me that because it was the weekend his accounting office would not be in until Monday, at which point he would call me to let me know how the refund will be given.I did not receive a call that Monday but eventually got a hold of the manger when I called on Tuesday. He apologized and said he was busy with all the construction but had an answer for me. He advised me his accounting office will be checking the transactions on the date the service was completed and they will refund the credit card used; therefore, I would not need to be present for the deposit to be submitted. He also confirmed my email address and indicated I would receive a notification of the refund transaction once it was completed within the next several days.Jump forward to a month later there was never a deposit made for the refund which totaled close to $90.I am extremely disappointed by the overall lack of service, broken commitment to refund and a non trustworthy place of business.It is unfortunate because Patrick reassured me this is not how he does business and wanted to “make things right”, but unfortunately things where never made right.If you wish to have your car serviced at a non trusty worthy place this is where you should go.I hope no one else suffers this hardship and for the sake of your cars always check and ensure the service was truly done to prevent damage to your vehicle.

I tried to inquire about buying a Tacoma and was waiting to receive an email with the window sticker from a salesperson. I never received the email. When I told them that they were wasting my time (and I am a high school teacher) this is one of the texts I received:As a teacher you teach and i sell cars, its very simple we all have our own schedules but told you before i do not come to work open to close to not sell cars, your only wasting your own time if cannot read the messages properly or open your emailNormally the salesperson would figure out why the email didnt go through and we would continue the process. In this case I think the email was never sent in order to manipulate the customer. It is very unprofessional and strange. I bought a car from them in 2010 and the process was smooth. Things must have gone downhill.I would give your hard earned money to a dealership with more integrity.

This is a shady dealership. We made an appointment to see a car and right before leaving confirmed with Avery that the car was available. When we got there after driving 1 hour another buyer had arrived before us and we were shifted to another salesmen TJ who told us the other buyer also had an appointment but if we filled out the paperwork faster than the other buyer then we could have the car. When we asked why did Avery tell us there were no other appointments TJ told us “ I have no idea why he told you that” Needless to say we left at that point. Either they are very disorganized or just dishonest. In either case I would not recommend this place to conduct such an expensive transaction.

I had the pleasure to work with Toyota Vacaville, specifically Xavier and Anthony from finance. It was my first car purchase and Xavier was very helpful and explained everything to me and broke down the steps to make things easy. Anthony from finance was very informative and went over all of my warranty options. I deduct one star for the detailer who detailed my car. My car still had some easily noticeable scuff marks on the inside and visible dirt on the running boards and fenders. In the end I was still happy with the deal I made.

I had my car towed in to the Vacaville Toyota on Friday, the 24th because a major fuse blew. I agreed to have it repaired with a few other minor things and was assured it be ready on Tuesday, the 28. It wasnt!!!Drove down there and ALL that was done was the main repair and the rest wasnt done. Went to pick it up today, Wednesday and before leaving the lot I found that now my radio and a couple other things ended not working now, so they have back for re-repair.Whatever they repaired somehow broke the radio.

They lied about my car warranty and I had to go to another Toyota dealership to make the 5 thousands miles oil change (covered under our service plan) and tires rotation for free because in Vacaville they wanted to charge me for that and they lied about my file. If you have to go to Toyota, go to any other dealership, don’t go to Vacaville.

My husband and I bought a certified Toyota Prius C from another Toyota dealership but our contract has regular maintenance by any Toyota dealership in the USA and Canada, but when I went to Toyota Vacaville to do that they lied to me and said that I have to pay for the service. I contacted Toyota vallejo and they said that my profile is already active and I am welcome to do the maintenance for free.

Showed up and they said they needed 5-6 hours to get it done.I should have known when the first words out of the guys mouth was “we are going to charge you $185 to look it” when I said toyotacare will cover it his reply was “we will determine if that’s true, I’m just telling you it will be $185 to look at it”.Horrible service. I wanted to save a drive to Jimmy Vassar Toyota for such a simple job. My mistake. Always go to Jimmy Vassar, they are far superior in customer service, knowledge, experience, and facilities.

This place is absolutely horrible. We called to get a part we needed for our car and they didn’t even call us to let us know it was ready. We had to call ourselves to ask if the part has arrived. In addition to that we arrive to the location to get what we needed done and we had to wait about 1 hour just to drop off the keys. These employees are not attentive at all. Just to drop off keys & make a payment took an hour. Customer Service here is absolutely horrible

I made an appointment to have my driver side mirror fixed and after an hour of waiting they updated me saying that it wouldn’t not be covered under any kind of warranty because the factory mounting was built improperly. There are no modifications on my car which left me confused.I called Napa to see if they were available to fix the problem and they said it wouldn’t be an issue and to bring it in that same day and they would take care of it. So bluntly Toyota Vacaville really just doesn’t care.

We’re bummed to be writing this negative review - It takes a lot for us to write a review, especially a negative one.We recently visited Ammaar’s Toyota Vacaville to purchase a 2020 Rav4. Our customer service experience was HORRIBLE and one for the record books. We had called Saturday morning about a specific Rav4 the dealership had in stock per their website. We wanted to make sure it was still on the lot and available since Vacaville is a 2-hour drive for us. After several phone calls to the deanship with no response, we finally received a callback. The salesperson (I won’t state names in this review) let us know the Rav4 was still available. He also gave us an online price quote which showed a $1,750.00 rebate. We put a deposit down over the phone and drove to Vacaville.When we arrived, we test drove the Rav4 and decided to purchase it. Miraculously, when we sat down to finalize paperwork the rebate was only $1,250.00 so, a $500 difference. We brought up their website quote and explained that we’d been quoted a different amount and had a screenshot to prove it. The salesperson brought in their general manager to speak with us. The general manager was even worst than the salesperson! He let us know that there is an asterisk at the bottom of their website and none of their prices are finalized until you sign paperwork. They didn’t attempt to change the price or work with us at all. We asked about including a roof rack to offset the difference - nope! He said they could try to bump down our interest rate a bit but it wasn’t guaranteed… We were appalled by the lack of effort towards good customer service. I should also mention that this was our second time visiting this dealership, in 2018 we purchased our 2018 Toyota Tacoma from them. So we were returning customers and still treated horribly.We decided to move forward with purchasing the Rav4 because we had driven 2 hours with our 5-month-old baby and we didn’t want to keep searching. However, we let the salesperson and general manager know that we’d be leaving an honest review. They reminded us of the website asterisk and mentioned that the price was not considered a false advertisement because of the statement on their website. Having said that, WE WILL NEVER GO BACK. Please be warned, this dealership is tricky! Here is what their website says (see photo).

Went in to look for a new car but was not set between a regular sedan or the more sporty 86. Was quickly brushed off and was being rushed because “they had an appointment.” We told them we can work with someone else and they said they were short staffed. They said we could do a test drive but it would have to be quick. He said he didn’t want to rush us—but that’s exactly what he was doing! We went to the nice Mazda dealership next door instead.

Recently my wife and I purchased a new 2020 Rav4 Hybrid from here and the experience ended exceptionally well. There was some initial hiccups when it came to rebates (military rebate to be exact) that caused me some frustration, but I am very overjoyed to say that the finance manager Anthony went above and beyond to make things right for a combat veteran like myself. I am a huge proponent of not being overly aggressive on potential customers, I have seen showrooms where salesman descend on you like vultures. This was the exact opposite. After 10 mins of standing in the showroom without so much as a hello we walked the lot trying to find/price what we were looking for on our own (actually with 2 other couples doing the same). 35 minutes spent at the dealership and we were ignored the entire time!Try Vallejo...

I wanted to make an appointment for an oil change online...I couldnt because Toyota Vacaville site pops up the phone number...I call to make an oil change appointmentIm told I have a 12pm appointment. Im checked in and told your oil change will take an hour to an hour and a half because it the works lunch....she didnt say that when I made my appointment. Im disappointed that a potential/existing service costumer is not able to choose services or able to look at the breakdown costs or chose the service according to estimation of the time.

This dealership was the third one I’ve been to all day. I was looking for a particular car and no one offered to help at the previous location. I walked into the Vacaville location and A sales rep (Lauren) assisted me right away. She was very friendly and helpful. She had great customer service. She did everything in her power to assist me on finding the car I wanted. Then another associate (Theresa) assisted me as well. They were both great and very friendly. I left the dealership with a brand new 2018 Camry with the red interior. I will definitely return to that dealership again. Lauren and Theresa are the definition of what great customer service should look like. Other dealerships should take notes! Thank you once again Lauren and Theresa. Great job!!!

If you liked to be scammed into buying products that this dealership won’t even back up then look no further. I purchased my truck brand new from this dealership a couple years back. After finalizing a price we went to sign all the paperwork. It was here that they then squeezed another $400-500 out of me in order to keep the security system in which they had installed in the truck telling me they would remove it if I wasn’t willing to pay that price. Mind you we had already compromised a price for the truck as it sat. Me being young caved because I felt I needed that system. Now the system is not working properly. I took my truck in to Toyota this morning only for them to tell me that they can do nothing about it because they know nothing about that system. That it is not a factory system yet they are the ones who installed the system in the first place. Never again will I take my business to Toyota of Vacaville. I love the Toyota product and I will continue to buy the Toyota product just not from the poorly ran, poorly managed and deceitful location. I will say that the guy who helped me out today was very nice and respectful.

Absolutely worst customer service Ive ever experienced in my life. The employees do not tell you anything when you walk in, you wait at least 30 minutes to sign in for your appointment. When we started asking questions it seemed like they stopped listening and just started arguing. We had a wonderful experience in Arizona but this Toyota has the absolute worst representatives Ive ever had to deal with.

I got a good quote over email from these guys (almost too good to be true) for the exact vehicle i wanted. I asked for out the door cost which was sent over without hesitation in the next email. I told them Id take it. They put it on hold. I went to dealership a few days later with a cashiers check for that exact amount and was concerned they would play the typical car salesmen games (they didnt). After two hours of total processing time to purchase the vehicle i drive away feeling great about my decision. No BS. No sales tactics. Good price (I compared against FIFTY other dealers best quotes).I would highly recommend purchasing your next vehicle here.I had a lot of interaction with almost FIFTY dealerships (I REALLY SHOPPED AROUND) over the last two months as I zeroed in on the best deal I could get. Had I not done that I wouldnt have known it was such a good deal...BUT maybe having read this review you can avoid all the effort I put in and just start with TOYOTA VACAVILLE and get a good deal and good treatment right from the start.

I felt I had to post something to warn people.I have owned Toyotas for the past 25 years, and typically use their shop when traveling.I lived in Vacaville for almost a decade. I was driving from the east coast to visit friends in Vacaville and needed an oil change. We put over 7k miles on our Sienna in 40 days.I went online and scheduled an oil change 5 days in advance, because I knew when I would be in Vacaville. When I got there, they did not have any record of me in the system. I showed them the express lube email I received, to which they responded the online system doesnt work.They did say they could squeeze me in, possible today or the next day. I said ok, and was leaving my van. The quote they gave me for an oil change and tire rotation was 163 dollars.I knew California was expensive, but this was over the top. I asked them why its so much, and they said this is standard pricing for full synthetic with a Toyota oil filter, and tire rotation.After leaving my keys, I then called Roseville Toyota, Fairfield Toyota, and Toyota in Yuba City, to which learning that all of them can give you a full synthetic oil change for under 75 dollars, some even cheaper.I went back, and asked the service writer why Fairfield Toyota, right down the road, could get me a full synthetic oil change and tire rotation for less than 75 dollars out the door and they could not. They said Fairfield Toyota are NOT using genuine Toyota oil filters and Mobile 1 oil, and Vacaville is doing it properly.He also said if your driving locally, your oil will last longer than the thousands of road miles I just put on my van. This is when I knew he was blowing smoke. Driving across the country is so much easier on your engine oil than stop and go city traffic. They were saying whatever they could to keep my van there.I got my van out of there and went to Fairfield Toyota, which out the door was 72 dollars for a full synthetic oil change, and tire orating. This was is a bit high, but my engine holds 6.5 quarts, and I like a dealership changing my oil while traveling.You can find issues at any business, but Vacaville Toyota is over the top. Do NOT go to Vacaville Toyota. They will try to scam you.

Short version: I never even leave reviews for places but this dealership had terrible enough customer service to make me want to drive to Fremont from Davis to purchase the same car; a 2017 Toyota 86 860 edition.Long version: Called this dealership to ask if I could test drive their 2017 86 without an appointment, and was told YES. Upon arriving, we sit down with T.J., an employee, to discuss the test drive. Even though we were told yes to a test drive over the phone, T.J. was hesitant and had to grab another employee, I assume higher-up, to speak with us. After questioning why I wanted to test drive the car, I was told I could only test drive it in their very small back lot. The reason was absolutely BS: Because of COVID theyre trying limit test drives. This is BS because NONE of the employees were wearing masks, and whether we drove the car in a lot or on the street, it would need to be sanitized anyway. After an incredibly inconclusive ~2 minute test drive in a parking lot, and no advice or suggestions or communication about the car itself from salespeople, I decided to take my business elsewhere. After leaving, we decided to check out a Miata at the Mazda dealership down the street and WOW what a difference! As soon as I parked and got out of the car at Mazda, we were greeted with smiles and they were practically telling us to drive any car we desired. Toyota Vacaville seriously needs to take notes from Mazda, because it is a stark contrast in customer service.I would give this dealership 0 stars if I could, but Ill settle for 1 star since T.J. was a pretty cool guy.

I bought my Scion TC brand new in 2013, the entire process from start to finish was excellent. Everyone was great! The color I wanted was not on their lot but in less than two days, exactly what I wanted was safely parked in my garage. All service appointments since have been great. Pleasant ride to work after dropping my car off and prompt pick up when service was completed. I wanted to make sure the excellent service I received maintained its consistency, prior to making this post. After 3 years I can confidently recommend this dealership to everyone! !

What a great car buying experience!I was in the market for a pretty rare model. I wanted a 2014 4runner Trail edition. Searched for weeks. Seemed every one I found sold before I could even get there to see it in person.That all changed when I talked to Lee. He verified they had one. We agreed to a price over the phone. Once I was sure I had my down payment secured I called him back. He pulled the car off the market right then.I drove out and was greeted by Melissa Robbins. We had a quick chat with Lee then she rode shotgun on a test drive.She was excellent with all the documentation and just a really sweet person.Another woman named Melissa handled the financing in about 10 minutes then Melissa Robbins helped me square away my insurance requirements because I wasnt quite prepared.All in total I got a great deal on a rare model Toyota 4runner and it all took maybe an hour and a half.Just amazing!

This place is a joke. Unprofessional. Immature. Do not have any work done on your car here if it involves insurance!. They don’t follow up or give updates. I had to do all the calling and most times was given “I don’t know” and “I’ll look into that” for 2 weeks straight and they never did. Car was finished Friday morning yet I wasn’t allowed to pick it up because they needed the insurance check in hand! They will hold your car hostage until they can cash the insurance check. I have never seen or heard of this. They would not accept proof of payment from one of the top leading insurance companies in California and this “policy” was never mentioned until I called and they said I couldn’t take ownership of my HOSTAGE vehicle! I have had work done at several other competing dealerships and have never had this problem. Customer service isn’t even a thought at this place. This was made evident when I came into the dealership to understand everything going on and wanting proof that my car was 100% fixed. It was very clear that employees didn’t want to deal with me yet would talk about me and the car with a whisper while looking at me from a short distance. Because of this BS made up policy I am going to be paying an extra $200 in rental car fees at the minimum until they get their precious check! Only come here if stress and frustration is key with who works on your car!

SCAM ALERT! If you go here you WILL BE SCAMMED unless you are just here for warranty work. They wanted to charge me 1K for a starter.for a Scion. Even a denso starter is just $200 and only takes 30 min to install.I called Toyota of Sunnyvale and the same repair was only $700 and that is outrageous. They also wanted to charge me $300 for a battery. Stay away. Almost any other place or even a dealership will be more fair.After I paid them for a diagnostic they didnt even finish putting my car together because I didnt hire them to do the repair.STAY AWAY

Toyota makes great vehicles but I strongly recommend avoiding this dealership.Not really organized. I bought a brand new hybrid from the dealership, mostly so I could drive in the carpool lane. However, the dealership registered the vehicle wrong.The DMV require certain correction paperwork, but the dealership either ignores me or gives me the paperwork filled out incompletely.Almost half a year and I still dont have my carpool stickers.Dont pay for any of the warranty options where you can bring in your vehicle. There will be times you bring it in and they make you re-schedule because someone is on vacation or has the day off. Very disorganized from head to toe.
