My service advisor wasn’t very helpful. I brought my vehicle in for the free oil change and tire rotation that we got from purchasing the vehicle. My service advisor told me that there was a screw in the front passenger tire and my brakes were bad. My vehicle is a Ford certified pre-owned and I have a warranty with it. I asked if all of that was covered with my warranty and the answer I always got back from him was “It should be.” I told my service advisor to go and check before any repairs be made. He said “I know the brakes won’t be covered but the tire repair should be.” After telling him to go and check again he left and never came back. My vehicle got washed and brought back for me to pick up but my paperwork wasn’t printed out for another 30 min. After finding my service advisor talking to another employee, he said “Oh yeah, I’m getting you checked out right now.” 15 minutes later, he handed the paperwork to the concierge desk. She told me that I owed $24.95 for the tire repair. I explained to her the situation and no repairs should’ve been done if it wasn’t covered. Shoot, Discount Tire fixes those for free! So the concierge lady went to go find the service advisor but he was no where to be found. So, she had me sign the paper anyways and she put a post it note explaining that the service advisor shouldn’t have charged me. Needless to say, I’m sure their work is good but when the communication between the mechanics and the owner sucks, your experience is going to suck. Not sure if I want to use the remaining free oil changes I have.

We purchased a 1996 S10 with 26K original miles. The service department was thorough in their evaluation, and gave the car a thumbs up after replacing a bulb and charging the A/C. They even gave us a full tank of gas before turning the car over to us.

We believe in buying locally which we did with two vehicles from Platinum Ford. We made an appointment for a Tuesday to have wheel alignment, tires rotated, a recall taken care of, & the transmission adjusted.The service department did not call with an update or return phone calls. The department had our truck for 4.5 days. I went by the dealership to find out the status because phone calls where not being returned. Mind you, the truck was not broken, it just needed maintenance & a recall completed.I spoke to the service manager. He stated the items were complete. He did not know why we had not been notified or calls returned but he would follow up.Issues:4.5 days to address minor issues with an appointment.No follow up or call back.Wheels were not rotated as stated.Don’t have any idea if the recall was actually fixed or if the 4 wheel alignment was done since the tires were not rotated.While I was there on a Saturday morning, the department was steadily checking in & releasing vehicles.Suggestions:Make appointments & provide a reasonable time to return vehicle - otherwise don’t make the appointment holding someone’s vehicle ransom.Do the work you say you are doing.Communicate with the owner who has made adjustments for almost a week without their vehicle. Stop stating you are providing a service you are not able to do & last suggestion ... since there are no cars to sell right now, cross train your sales team to do the easy stuff like follow up phone calls or help rotate tires.

The oil change took longer than I had anticipated, but the waiting room was nice so I didn’t mind. This was my first visit to the dealership to have my oil changed, so I was on the fence about bringing the car back for the next one because I was there for 2 hours. I didn’t complain about the wait, but the service manager apologized and gave me the oil change on the house. Good customer service is hard to find these days, so kudos to this dealership on finding someone who knows what that looks like. They also identified three recalls that my car was due for and got me on the schedule to have them taken care of. Overall, a great experience. I’ll be back for my next oil change.

Communication is key in the business and I didn’t experience this in 12 weeks car was in their shop.Mom of5 and work 60 hrs a week at 2 jobs and I found time to call them but the shop is too busy to answer call or any form of communication.There is being busy and being ignored.Things get back ordered you can’t get the part but someone can answer a phone call.No return calls just to get an update.Stay on hold 15 minutes then hung upon.Stay on hold long enough to drive to shop and still be on hold.

Was asked if I wanted DEF added to truck as part of oil change. I said yes. They got through with everything told me I was good to go. I said thanks and left. I stop for breakfast before heading home and thought I will check my DEF it was still where it was. So I had to go back took another 15 min. Meanwhile I breakfast is getting cold. Not bad service but just wish they would do what they say they will do the first time.

I made an online appointment to bring my car in due to the check engine light. When I arrived, the service writer was eager to sell me an alignment rather than do the diagnostic on my actual problem. I was told they had no loaner cars, and no rental cars available, so I had to make my own arrangements for transportation.I called twice the next day to see if my car had any diagnostic done yet. Both times, the service advisor Jason did not return my call, and had someone else tell me my car hadn’t been looked at yet. I finally called on my way home from work, and I told the man I spoke with that if my car hadn’t even been diagnosed by close of business, I would be taking it elsewhere. Sure enough, when I arrived at 6:30, my car hadn’t even been looked at. I found the service writer and asked for my car back so I could take it elsewhere. He said he would go find Jason. A few minutes later, my car was brought around, and I still had not spoken to Jason. I told the service writer “I wish I could have spoken to Jason,” and I left.A 10 minute trip to O’Riley later, and my car had been scanned and diagnosed. I will be taking it to a different Ford dealer on Monday.All someone had to say when I brought it in was, “we are really backed up, and I don’t think we can look at it until Monday.” Instead, they ignored me and wasted my time. I will not be back.

The work that was completed on vehicle was due to someone breaking in and trying to steal our vehicle. Dealership did not do a very good job with communication back and forth on the repairs. Many phone calls with no return calls. Work was done in a timely manner but went to pick up vehicle they had to jump vehicle off. I drove to a family members house and could not start. I had to go and purchase a new battery. This should have been addressed at pickup.Do not use any towing company they recommend they will mark up the towing price. I did all the work in contacting towing company and making arrangements and meeting the towing company. The dealership had no part in my communication with the towing or helping me getting the vehicle to dealership.

I asked for a tune up, an oil change and to check on an engine problem when using the A/C. My vehicle was kept for almost three weeks. During that time I never received a callwith status on my vehicle. I called the service manager after a couple of days and was told that they had changed the oil and the tune up was completed.but they were still working on the engine problem. After several more calls for status, I was told more time was needed for the engine problem. Finally after almost three weeks I asked them to get it ready for me to pick it up. That was on a Friday so they told me my truck would be ready for pick up on Monday. When I arrived at the service department I was told that none ofthe service that I requested was done. He told me they would give me an oil change if I was willing to wait. I waited and received a free oil change, thank you very much!!!

Top class facility, very clean, and open. They had the best customer service. This was a huge improvement from the previous ownership of the Ford Dealership in Terrell. The communication was excellent. The only thing that would have made it better would have been if they had offered coupons and talked about warranties before I paid. After the face, someone outside asked if I used their coupons.

Another company stated my engine had multiple issues including severe oil leak that was undetectable to the naked eye 😅. Took it to the dealership for inspection and oil change. No leaks found. Drop me off and picked me up, truck was done in 2 hours for less than $100 and they even washed it before I picked it up.

My 2014 F150 has been there 3 times for the same problem with the a/c. This last visit was another a/c repair, check engine light on, oil change and tire rotation. After my truck was there for almost a month they worked on the a/c again. Check engine light on they replaced both 02 sensors. Changed oil cause they found an oil leak. They were supposed to rotate my tires which they did not and I know this cause I have a nail in one of my tires. I picked up my truck on Saturday which was supposed to be ready at 1pm but wasn’t ready till almost 4pm I didn’t even make it home and my check engine light came back on. Took it back today only for them to tell me sorry it’s not their problem try a tube up. Jason is who I dealt with which is the service manager will never return your calls. I will never use this dealership again. I don’t recommend it to anybody.

The team at Platinum repaired a bad brake install performed by another company that left me with cracked rotors and pads. They did a professional job in a timely manner. My sole complaint is that- and its not specific to Platinum- is the current cost of getting any maintenance done on vehicles today. Jason and the service staff kept me informed and they also were kind enough to have a driver collect me when my truck was ready and I was without wheels.

Took them 2 months to realize there was actually something wrong with my car. The first time I went in to have it looked at they told me it was my tires. I took it to another Ford dealership and told it was my spark plugs. Finally called the Ford customer hotline and got them involved to have Platinum Ford look at my car again. Low and behold it was the torque converter that was bad. Over a month later I got my car back. Hopefully it holds up. Thanks Ford.

Terrible. My truck was there for 5 days. It gotOn the lift on day 4. Quoted $15k toFix it, which it ran fine already. I took it from there and had the necessary repairs done for $1,600. Unacceptable guys. I will never go back. From a lifelong ford guy.

I purchased my new 2019 F150 in May 2019. Was extremely pleased with the attentiveness and the great deal I got. Today was my second time using their service department at the new dealership. I had an oil change and tire rotation done. My service writer was a young man named Julian and he was excellent. Professional and had a good sense of humor. As I waited he came an checked on me nd updated me on the progress. All in all it was a very pleasant experience!

I was taken care of in a matter of minutes. Everyone was very friendly. Came for a multi-point inspection, tire rotation and an oil change. Everything was taken care of, but they never checked my tire pressure! My readings were 27, 28, 30, and 40. I had already left or Id have said something to service writer. I had to stop at NTB in Forney to have this corrected. Upon receiving car back, they ran it through their car wash, but they dont vacuum your floor mats.

Wouldn’t recommend this dealership. Decided to try the dealership out since it is closer. Brought vehicle in for first oil change and a recall. Made appointment 3 weeks in advance and confirmed recall parts would be available. Dropped car off at 7:30 am Wednesday March 31st and was told cat would be ready by 1:00-2:00. Didn’t get vehicle back until April 5th. Customer service isn’t their strong point. Left numerous messages for service writer Billie and his boss Trevor. Went 48 hours before a return call.

I have been sold on Platinum Ford ever since I met Frank Brown, my salesman. He has done so much for us. First he helped me get the truck I needed and then when there was a problem he always arranged a vehicle to use while mine was being repaired . If he says he will do it he keeps his word. Another plus is Jackee Allen! She was the service representative who helped me work through my factory warranty repairs. She was awesome and made good on her promise to have my vehicle back as soon as she could and it happened. Just thankful they work together!

They are very slow to help you. Oil changes take forever there. I have gone multiple times for oil changes and it always takes an hour or more to get one done, with or without an appoinment. Also have had a splash guard replaced at a different dealership that this dealership broke on my truck and that they tried zip tying back so I wouldnt know.

Saturday March 27th, we replaced a damaged wheel (actually all 4 of the wheels for the sake of them matching) and a flat spotted tire that resulted from a cracked wheel on my wifes 2014 Focus at Discount Tire just down the street. The car wobbled and was vibrating violently at any speed. The car was completely smooth after this repair. We then got a check engine light with a P1450 code. A $24 purge valve (about a 10 minute fix) was likely the culprit, but we decided to have Platinum take a look just in case. Signed for a $126 diagnostic fee, and left the car there Monday afternoon (March 29).We dont hear anything until Thursday after a couple dozen calls without answer and a few voicemails have been left. We finally get a list of suggested maintenance items in addition to the check engine light diagnostic cost, which jumped from $126 to over $300 without any discussion. (The $24 purge valve was replaced.) Brakes are one of the items on the list. We had been made aware of this by another trusted mechanic, but since the car was already there we agreed to have the rotors resurfaced and the pads replaced rather than taking another day off work later on somewhere else. Today, April 2nd, and over $700 later we picked up the car. Service writer was no where to be found, so the cashier had to find our paper work and car. The car now drives worse than it did with the cracked and flat spotted wheel. Shaking steering wheel, everything in the car vibrates enough to make you sick. Id say this was a lesson learned, but unfortunately we now will be taking the car back tomorrow morning to see if they will correct whatever they managed to ruin during the brake job.**Late Edit / Follow up since I just saw there was a reply**When we took the car in the following day, we spent another 2 hours here while they tried to determine the issue with the wheels. We were greeted by the service manager while we were there because they read the review while we were sitting inside. It was explained to us that the aftermarket wheels we had purchased did not have hub centric rings installed, and that without these we would continue to have this problem and that where ever we take the car to get this done, they would encounter the same issues. This seemed reasonable enough to me at the time, and we were instructed to visit Discount Tire again to have them take a look since they initially installed the wheels without any issue. The guys at Discount Tire were confused why there was so much trouble, and when we got the wheels wheel off all four corners had hub rings on them the entire time. Discount Tire put the wheels back on after discovering this, and we were out the door in 5 minutes without any wobbling or vibration. While I understand Discount Tire specializes in this kind of thing, I think it says a lot and doesnt excuse any of the stuff we encountered with our visit here. I dont think we can trust this place to have work done on either of our cars again.
