First time going to livernois. Mike, the owner was very knowledgeable and super honest about what was getting put on my car. Got my brakes done (pads and rotors). The smoothest my brakes have ever felt. I need some more work done on my car so Im taking it back. Hard to find a good shop these days.

10/10 recommend! They’re great! Nice, professional, informative. Went in there for what I thought would be an oil pan replacement was told estimated amount which was so reasonable compared to surrounding shops, ended up just being my filter. They could’ve easily said they replaced the pan and charged me the original amount and being a women so many shops do that but they told me what it was instead and was only charged for that so I saved over 300$ highly highly recommend! Other females that get screwed over from shops go here! They got you! Thank you so much to Mike! Will be coming here for future needs!

Where do I even start?! I am so happy about this place, the best place I have ever been so far and will always go to them if anything for sure! I had a 2007 Jeep Compass that was destroyed at the bottom of my vehicle at the subframe/real alignment which looked very bad and dusty. Mike is a very nice man who will be in charge at the front door. I left my vehicle with him for 1 day to check it until the next day we meet and he explained all the problems my vehicle had before they actually work on it. He told me what should be done then we negotiated with a good price. Everyone in there are very friendly. I would REALLY recommend this place to my friends and family!

After exhausting all possibilities on fixing my vehicle someone recommended this shop to me. Im so glad they did. It was a big job and it only took a couple of days to fix the issue. Please dont hesitate to give this shop a try.

The check engine light on my daughters car was on and blinking. I have used Livernois Automotive in the past and have always been completely satisfied. They quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired the issues the same day. This is a lifesaver for a worried mom. I have peace of mind knowing when I pick up the car it’s repaired and safe to drive. Took my 2001 Ford Explorer sport trac here. Had the tires replaced, battery replaced, detailed, exhaust fixed, suspension fixed, and a leak repaired (along with a Few other minor issues). Very reasonable on the pricing but the quality is what did me in. Awesome work with no complaints. Treats your car as their own. Over all a great owned small business that I would refer any family member or friend to!

I’ve been using Livernois Automotive for my auto repairs for over 10 years. Mike has taken care of every car I’ve owned since I started driving. As a female driver it can be scary taking your car into someone you don’t trust. I trust Mike so much that although I’ve moved 45 minutes away from his shop, I still bring my car to him! Brakes were noisy on front wheels. Last month was my first time at Livernois and I was skeptical about the quality and honesty. Mike was professional and serviced my car in 1 day. Great price and very pleased with the work performed.Yesterday my car would not start, AAA responded and charging system is good battery is bad. Mike and crew had system checked confirming what AAA indicated. 3 hours later and the car was ready. 2nd visit and very pleased with my new vehicle maintenance team.

Been going to Mike since he open for business. Always quality work. Recently had work done and there was a defect in the service part they installed (not their fault). When the part failed it caused additional damage which was most likely costly. Mike took care of everything with no issues and no additional cost to me. I dont think a lot of shops would do that.

The words I would use to describe Livernois Automotive is honest and reliable! When I hit the gas on my car it was unable to go forward. It would only go in reverse. I had my car towed to Livernois. He first thought it could be the transmission which would cost between $1600-$2200. He said he was going to look at something else. He was able to fix my car for $517! I know other shops would have seen a easy way to make money. Mike is honest and will do only the necessary repairs needed on your car. I have taken my car here for over 10 years and he is the only one I trust.

What an awesome auto repair facility, which in my opinion is the best in Taylor! Not only was my work done in one day as promised, an extra problem which could have been catastrophic was discovered and repaired as well. I was referred to Mike when my daughters car broke down. I called him and he got her car towed over to his shop. He then made sure to walk through all the issues once he looked over the car. He is completely honest and explains everything to you. He even explained to me how things work and what makes them work. This place is the real deal. No gimmicks. I have told everyone about Mikes team and their great service. I just took my other daughters car there and we received the same amazing service . They are an amazing repair shop. Mike and the staff were professionally superb. I was recommended to Livernois Automotive by a friend. I went on my only day off to set up an appointment for an oil change for a Subaru. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to leave my vehicle to be serviced and was done at the estimated time given. Mike informed me that the vehicle has a 2 issues, gave me a timeline and estimated costs. Will be scheduling a service appointment soon.

The team here has always been honest and fair. Recently, had 4 cars in for service and all done professionally. One car had loose steering and they fixed up a few things. It drove like new again.

My car was just out of warranty and I started having issues with the power steering, so it was time to find a mechanic. Livernois Automotive is great! Mike the owner took the time to explain in detail what the problem was, and how much the parts and labor would cost. They took care of fixing the issue quickly and had me back on the road the same day. A few days later I got a nice card in the mail (hand written addressed and signed) thanking me for my business, which is a nice touch these days (you’d never see anything like that from a large chain). I love that they are close to my home and will be returning to Livernois Automotive for all my future car repair needs.

I was legitamently blow away by the service at Livernois Automotive, especially that of the owner, Mike. He was so responsive when I called and would take any amount of time necessary to make me feel comfortable with the process and the price. I feel like the hospitality I was shown is very rare these days. The day I dropped my car off, the shop was ready to close and Mike even offered to give me a ride home since I had mentioned he would be walking. Almost forgot to mention, the car is now back to running like a champ.

Car broke down on the high way. It was the alternator. I had it towed to these guys. They told me they could get it done same day. The part was not there after an hour wait so the guy at the desk went and picked it up him self. Great service. I will be back

I brought my 2007 solstice in to the shop today. Mike was so nice and so accommodating. He fixed it right up and charged me WAY less than Taylor Chevrolet quoted me to fix it.

Went in to have my power steering looked at. Went away with a list albeit a short one of things to have repaired. We discussed the problem, what needed to be done (especially if I was keeping the car) and prioritized the list. The power steering was fixed in a timely manner (same day). Will be back to chip away at my list. They were very friendly, not pushy but honest about the problems.

We just started taking our vehicles here. Ive had a clunking noise coming from my jeep for a while now. the prior mechanic decided to replace a bunch of other stuff that was not needed and never actually fixed the issue. This morning the usual clunking noise started and then began a knocking noise with it. I brought my jeep in to Livernois around 8:00am and by 11:47am the same day Mike called to explain what was wrong, how it was related to both issues, and that they have already fixed it. The cost he advised was more than affordable and way less than I was paying at the other place. This is the first time in 20 years that I have changed mechanics and I dont think I will ever go anywhere else after how great of an experience Livernois has been.

PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW FIRST I have read the other reviews and couldnt agree more about how friendly they are on the other hand what happened to me should never happen I took my car there to get the ball joint fixed because I had an estimate done there a few weeks before and they said that the one ball joint is my biggest issue and should be addressed as soon as possible so I saved up what I could to get it done to me it was allot of money actually it was the only money I had so they did the repair after I left I noticed that the shaking was not fixed I thought ok it has to be something else being late in the day and they where closed now I stopped at Belle tire hoping it was just gonna turn out to be a simple tire ballancing issue they put it up on the lift and discovered that right there right behind where the brand new ball joint was literally just installed the frame was rusted almost all the way thru and about to snap I told the guy looking at it that I just paid over two hundred dollars to replace that ball joint and he said I wish you would have just come here first because any mechanic worth his salt would never have missed such a very obvious problem and deffinatly not took any money for a repair that without the bigger problem fixed first would not matter for this reason I will never and I mean never go back there I feel completely ripped off and scammed what kind of low life takes advantage of someone like that and with a smile too thats the worst part its like they knew they where screwing me over and took pleasure in it if I could give negative stars I would and I know this is just a stupid online review but I recommend that if u need car repairs treat it like a doctor get a second opinion so you dont get completely ripped off and scammed like me
