Nyle Maxwell (Taylor) Service Dept took precautions to make sure their customers felt safe during this pandemic. They’re an extremely busy dealership; yet their staff were very upbeat and friendly. Renee was super personable when we spoke on the phone in regards to my vehicle. Staff was friendly and took care of my Jeep. Only concern was I’m from out of town and they had no loaner vehicles so I could get back home after my Jeep broke down. Another thing was when I got my car back there was two parts laying in my front seat and I’m not sure what they go on. Lastly my radio has started glitching since it was serviced. Other than that they was great on getting my car in and back running.

The service advisor Terry was very detailed when he called and let me know what needed to be taken care of with my Charger. The service guys are awesome and never had any worries if things were done correctly or not. Rhonda is also so sweet and always tries to get me checked out as soon as possible.

I was extremely dissatisfied with my experience with Nyle Maxwell in general. From phone calls that werent returned when they said they would be, to long wait times riddled with them picking up the phone every thirty seconds and immediately putting me back on hold (Im assuming to game some hold metric they have), to the Service Advisor talking to me like we were high school drinking buddies. Just a really poor experience overall. When the Service Advisor told me that my vehicle was not repairable and the failure would not be covered by its lifetime powertrain warranty, he actually said When will you be in to shop for a new ride? like it was some foregone conclusion Id buy from them. Not going to happen.

Initially I took my dad’s truck to Mak Haik based on distance/convenience, however it was anything but convenient! I left it there for 2.5 days for a recall that was at most 2 hrs of labor. I was furious, so after they hadn’t touched it and told me my appt was only to drop off the vehicle but couldn’t tell me when they’d get to it (due to holidays) I picked it up. They advised it could take another 3-4 days depending on staff availability and workload. Later that day, I called Nyle Maxwell of Taylor and spoke to Brian. I asked when they could get to it based on holidays, etc. He responded w Jan 2nd 8am and they’d have it done by 10am same day! These folks are amazing! Not only did they set clear expectations, but they had me out of there 30 min earlier than expected!I believe Brian helped me w my vehicle (2014 Wrangler) about 4 yrs ago a few days before Christmas. They were swamped as expected but made it a point to get me in ASAP since I was leaving for Colorado 12/26. Again, amazing experience and from these 2 instances have gained a customer for life! Thank you Brian and the Nyle Maxwell of Taylor team! Happy New Years!

Was doing some regular maintenance on my wrangler and saw my spiders gears were worn down. I am still under warranty and fully knowing the issue, I took it to the dealership explaining exactly what was wrong and showed them pictures as well. My Jeep sat there for a week before it was even pulled into the shop. Once it was pulled in to get started, it was removed for another car to be worked on instead. After a few more days I received a call where the tech was excited to tell me what was wrong with me jeep! He spent a few minutes explaining exactly what I had explained to him was wrong a week and a half earlier. Never the less the warranty claim inspector was to come in to look at the vehicle and make sure all things were good on that end. At this point 2 weeks have passed and I was told it would all be done well before New Years (at this point it was already December 27th and I was not hopeful). I am told parts will have to be ordered but work should start on the the 30th and I’d have my Jeep back on the 1st. I never receive any update on if the parts came in on time like I was told I would, the 1st comes and I find it weird that they would be open on New Years. Come to find out they were closed and I was never getting my vehicle back on this date. I expect a call on the 2nd to explain the situation and never get one, I call and get told the parts have not arrived yet. So I’m sitting here again, with no updates on the situation and 3 weeks into a problem they have not even started fixing. On the 3rd of January I am FINALLY offered a loaner vehicle. Every day I am the one who must call to get any information and am told every day for a week that my vehicle would be later that day. Time passes and every day I don’t get a call, so I call and get told the vehicle would be ready the next day. This process went on every day for a week. It was not until I informed the employee that I would be returning to Dallas for school for 2 weeks on the 7th that magically the vehicle was ready just in time. If I did not have to threaten to take their very cheap and dirty loaner car across Texas there is no telling how much longer my Jeep would have sat there.When it comes to the quality of the work, only time will tell. From an initial inspection I am already worried problems will arise, gear lube can be seen all over the suspension and all over the diff cover. I’m not sure how you inspect to make sure there are no leaks if everything is already covered. As for the gasket, there was originally an orange gasket surrounding the cover, all of that gasket is still present with a mixture of a new white gasket just messily spread around. Not removing the previous gasket means that the new seal will not be proper and secure. This was simply the tech being lazy, but if you have 4 weeks to work on a vehicle, what’s 10 minutes to clean up an old gasket to ensure quality work?My vehicle was also returned with basically one gas in the tank. It had maybe a quarter tank when dropped off, there was test drives to make sure everything was okay but to return the vehicle well past when the gas light is on seems just lazy again. I pulled up to the nearest gas stain (which is not close) on literal fumes.Overall I don’t think the experience could have gone any worse or taken any longer. A complete lack of honest communication and drive to provide proper customer service means I will never be returning to this dealership for any work in the future.

I purchased my car from Maxwell and have they have always done maintenance and/or repairs. This time I went in for and oil change and lightbulb replacement. My appt was at 2pm and I didn’t leave until 5. People with appts later than were finished before me. Normally I would give them good marks but not this time.

Service was good until i asked for a price to change out one part and was quoted a prive for two parts .One day it was tjis is wrong and then the next day it is this that is wrong. Asked for price to change out final thing wrong and was givin a price to change out both . I had already told service advisor that I did not want the oem part for the second part ( it will not hold up ) and he quoted me a price to change it anyway . Do not aprove of these sales tactics . Also truck brought in under my name and cashed out uder my wifes name . Not her truck .
