The equipment is not being properly tagged as out of service when they are returned with issues. The staff runs around stealing parts from other trailers to complete the rental. The first trailer they hooked up was missing chain components and electrical connectors. They took these items from other trailers and finally got the unit hooked up. Unfortunately, the unit had bad lighting. They traded to another unit however the second unit had 3 brand new tires had one tire that was worn down to the steel belts. It was obvious to me that someone had stolen the new tire off this trailer and replaced it with the bad tire that was completely unserviceable. The installers solution was to hook up a third unit but after spending an hour at the lot I declined the third unit and accepted the unit with the bad tire. In my previous experience with U-Haul, the staff had a rolling cart containing the most common components required to complete a rental. This location had none of that. In addition, it was obvious that inspections and red tagging of incoming equipment with issues is not being done. The practice of stealing components from ready to rent hardware was shocking.

Kayla is amazing! I had an issue making a purchase at another U-haul, and Kayla was able to clean up their mess for me and find the product I was looking for (a brake controller). She was friendly, helpful and professional throughout the process. This store is out of the way for me, but I will come back for the service! Thank you Kayla!!

Online experience was horrible just go in person. They didn’t have the order together at all and made me put it together. Then i went to do a return and they couldn’t figure it out and said i had to come back.

Made a reservation a week ahead. However, when I arrived at the location my rental was not available. I was told the previous customer still had it and they had no idea when it would be back. Very unprofessional and disappointing experience. Ruined my plan to move several items this weekend. Making it very inconvenient for me.

Dont Waste your time they will book you and when u go, switch around and tell u your shot out of luck, I would give it zero stars if I could.

Joy was not that much of a help. She seems like she doesn’t care what the customer thinks. She works at her own pace so don’t be in a hurry. However, John the outdoor Rep was very professional and quickly solved my issue. Thanks!

Worst experience ive ever dealt with uHaul. I have used their services in the past in california and new england and after dealing with this one i will never work with uHaul ever again. For a franchise to let these owners operate is insane and going to kill the organization as a whole. They charged over $400 in hold fees on my card for a 26 hour usage of one of their trucks which should have totaled to $209. Worst customer service also, dealing with Tina was not pleasant and they didnt raise a finger to even consider doing anything to make the experience better for us. NEVER GO HERE!

I love U-Haul and use them a couple times a month , every month. I have rented probably 30 pieces of equipment total. All equipment is excellent and a great value. That is except this time at this specific location. I rented a tow dolly as I have many times before. This dolly clearly had a bent wheel and was the most dangerous thing I have ever towed. Anything over 45mph felt like it was going to take my vehicle off the road. When everyone on the highway is going at least 60mph and I am doing 45 it is a clear safety hazard. But things happen in life, I get it. I made the most of it and when I returned my equipment I kindly asked for a store credit I can use for my next rental.They declined and said I must have caused the damage to the equipment. They claim the only way the trailer can vibrate is by me speeding or not using the correct ball. I could not travel at highway speeds and I am using their recommended ball from their store. The only process they had for checking the equipment for damage was, I kid you not, kicking the tires and calling it good. A bent wheel can be just a few THOUSANDTHS of an inch off and they claim they can judge that by giving it a look and kick. I asked for my receipt back and left the location. I will certainly use U-Haul again. But I will never come back to this location.

This place sucks. Customer service was way under par and the pickup truck we reserved a week ago in advance,we couldnt get it.I would not recommend you go to this location of ignorance.

When I attempted to take my rental trailer home, I couldnt because UHauls computer system crashed, delaying the check out process by 30 minutes.The passenger side front tire had a bad air leak of which I consistently needed to pump with air.When I attempted to return the trailer at approximately 0000 hours, I couldnt because the link provided consistently provided me an error message, preventing me on appropriately checking the trailer in with payment. I left the trailer their and returned home, planning on calling when my location opened to report the issue. I was charged $62.88 when I was to be charged $41.18 due to U-Hauls failure in their check in process. I had to call customer service to have this issue resolved.Due to the above circumstances, I will attempt to take my business elsewhere. I had no issues with my pick up location and the service that I received. I only have an issue with the unreliable online service that U-Haul provides to its businesses and customers.

Awesome storage facility and very nice and helpful staff. We highly recommend this storage facility for their fair prices- never went up during the years of our storage there- upgrades in their facility- AC and fans and security features. Their staff changed quite a bit but they seemed to improve. We also got a Ubox and the staff were very helpful when we encountered issues with it. My Dad has rented trailers from here and he had a similar experience with the staff going out of their way to help him. We would definitely recommend using this facility and their services for any and all your needs.

Awesome experience in moving and glad I did over movers. Prices were right on par. Dont expect them to answer the phone. In case anyone is wondering, there is a dumpster out back if you need to through away something you forgot in the back.

Tina was horrible. I was waiting for a truck when a white gentlemen came in and wanted a trailer. She decided to handle him first even though I was there at least 10 mins. before him. Then I had to ask why she took him 1st. She didnt have an answer. Sad girl.

Ive done a lot of business with them and have had no problem. Mostly I rent vans. The only problem is they can be a little slow if there are a lot of people there, but otherwise they are fine.

Went here to get a trailer hitch. Four hours latter they finished and when I hook up the trailer most of the lights didnt work. Pull off the trunk panel and the the plug they tap into was not reinstalled.

Sadly i write this negative review.Why sadly? - because the three folks we dealt with at the problem location were as nice as nice could be; and as sweet as any you will ever meet.Three good kids (to me - in my 70s) who are working their hardest to deliver a good product. But something is missing.First, our U-Box went to this location, in NE Tampa, but we were told it was at a location in SW Tampa. Add 30 plus miles to our trip.Second, we got to this location but they had loaded an empty U-Box onto a trailer for us, not the full one we had shipped down from Michigan. Add another 45 minutes to our trip.The first mistake may well be UHauls fault, and not this dealerships. The second mistake might also have been a UHaul miscommunication, who knows?But no one in this organizational structure appears to be accountable.Okay back to these two delays... they ended up putting us in 5pm Tampa traffic; and we had to go cross-county to get home. Add another 45 minutes.We finally get home, back the trailer into the driveway (a very easy process with the U-Box, kudos to UHaul!) and unhook it (also very easy). And ready to unpack.But then we started looking for our lock on the door at the back end of the U-Box...no lock, no hinges, no door...huh?So we go to the front of the trailer and find that the U-Box has been loaded backwards onto the trailer...making it impossible to unload!We immediately called the U-Haul 800 number, since all the stores had long since closed, and we were told that we would need to return the box to the same dealer so they could properly replace the U-Box on the trailer...Huh?Well see! Drive all the way back?Please stand by for my next post.Will U-Haul redeem themselves, and save us personally another 3 hour needless trek?Will my star count rise?Will a manager, a real manager - like a suit-type manager - step up?Will said manager pull a low-level hourly employee out from under the trailer? After all, this is Holy Week! What would Jesus do?At this point all is not lost in my little world. Made an appointment online to have a hitch installed at 6pm. Called ahead and was never told it would be an issue. They did say theyd have the installer call me to let me know if I could come earlier. Never got a call. Drove all the way over here, across town, and arrived 30 mins early. Waited 30 minutes for someone to help meel. Then told it cant be done today. Unacceptable!

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. The employees were not respectful of our time. They were watching videos on their phones as I and four other customers waited in line to be helped. When I finally got to the counter the employee still had his phone out and asked for my address. As I gave him my address he continued watching videos and began showing them to his coworker...then when he was finally finished with his personal entertainment, he looked up as if he forgot I was standing there and said “What was your address again?” This was the worst rental experience I EVER had. I value my time and my money and this company made it crystal clear that it doesn’t value me. I will not continue to rent with U-HAUL. The employees felt comfortable doing this because they know they won’t be reprimanded for this unprofessionalism. If this is what customer service means to U-Haul then this is not for me.

I live close to this location and every time we rent something is always a line, on saturdays they only have one person in the morning doing everything and honestly you have to wait an hour to get what you need. Please find more people because is frustrating to be waiting so long for something so simple.

Had an appointment to install a wiring harness, manager went out of her way to fix the many issues present and saved me money in the end. Very polite and accommodating Will be returning with my other vehicles, and would highly recommend!

The manager at this uhaul is a complete loser. Bring back Danny or some one that does not cry like a baby. Truth is this manager will bring down uhaul just like the toy store that is no longer with us. U haul needs to value return customers over the once every five year customer that only uses service when they move once every five years. Get a clue uhaul. Your going to lose your regular customers and not be able to pay your bills. Consider this a wake up call. Do not want to deal with a manager that cant handle business. To make a customer that rents multiple trucks every week that mad at you. Your losing it uhaul. Get a clue and drop the dead weight.

Having an issue with this location. First i get told that i lost my unit and it was moved out and now 1 month and a half later they saying that i have to sign a forfeit paper or pay a lil over 400 dollars to keep what i have there. I tried calling but thanks to caller id they have chosen to ignore and hang up on my calls. Now im on the phone with hq cs and ive been on hild for 7 min now.Prayers up

DONT RENT HERE! I had my belonging here for several months. When I went to clean out the storage I notice a lot of Rat Dropping all in my belonging they ate thru my Plastic bag of my mattress there was Rat dropping all on my mattress they chewed thru my boxes so as I was moving out of storage there were a few rat jumping off the truck! I advise u if u have very nice thing (expensive belongings) don’t rent here! All they will do is tell u to call the 1-800 Rep #. I’m so pissed off and will never come back

Stay clear of this place. The van I received was extremely old and I felt unsafe in it. The customer service was too slow. The price was too high. A ton of hidden costs as well. Call somebody else.

I hate moving but when its time to move using U-Haul Tipsy the better place to go the other moving truck companies cost too much charge too much even though U-Haul charge a lot of money for extra stuff its still a better deal going to them their customer service is typically friendly and very helpful I highly recommend this place if youre moving and this location and the prices is the best youre going to get

Becarful and be aware, this place will double book you, so make sure they are just a back up place and double book them back. Very trashy and not well kept area, you will notice that when you pull up.
